Roselyn Sanchez dared to go bare in a sheer dress at the Latin Grammy Awards Thursday night in Las Vegas.

The "Devious Maids" actress turned heads when she hit the red carpet in the see-through gown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The dress was made by sisters Norein and Michelle Otero of the fashion label Ecliptica. It featured nude fabric with a plunging neckline and dazzling multi-colored embroidery.

The 41-year-old beauty, who presented at the event, gave a shout-out to the designers on Twitter, thanking them for their "beautiful" creation.

Carla Ferrigno, Angela Leslie And Louisa Moritz Come Forward With Allegations Against Bill Cosby (UPDATE)

Three more women have come forward with allegations against Bill Cosby. Carla Ferrigno, Angela Leslie and Louisa Moritz are three of the 11 women who have now publicly identified themselves and accused Cosby of assaulting them in some form.

Ferrigno, Leslie and Moritz's claims join a growing list of allegations made against the 77-year-old actor. In 2005, Andrea Constand filed a lawsuit against Cosby claiming that he drugged and molested her in 2004. Not long after, Tamara Green went on the “Today Show” alleging she had a similar experience with Cosby. Twelve other women were anonymous witnesses in the Constand case, claiming they also had similar encounters with the comedian. One by one these women have come forward to publicly identify themselves, including Barbara Bowman, Beth Ferrier and, just days ago, Therese Serignese who spoke at length with The Huffington Post. Other women to recently make their allegations against Cosby public include publicist Joan Tarshis and supermodel Janice Dickinson.

Carla Ferrigno, actress and wife of actor Lou Ferrigno, alleges that Cosby attacked her in his home in 1967 and attempted to force himself on her before she escaped. “He walked over to me and grabbed me, pulls me really tight to him, kisses me on the mouth, like really really rough. And I just took my hands and I pushed him away,” Ferrigno told KFI radio station.

Model and actress Angela Leslie says Cosby sexually assaulted her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 1992, telling the New York Daily News, “With his hand on top of mine, [Cosby] had me massage his penis.”

Louisa Moritz, a former actress best known for her role in the 1970s show “Love American Style," claims that Cosby sexually assaulted her, forcing her to perform oral sex on him in a green room in 1971 before going on the Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show," TMZ reported.

Cosby’s attorney, Marty Singer, responded to Ferrigno’s allegations in a statement to The Huffington Post. “This continuing pattern of attacks on Mr. Cosby has entered the realm of the ridiculous, with a purported ‘forceful kiss’ at a party in 1967, nearly 50 years ago, being treated as a current ‘news story’ and grossly mischaracterized as a ‘sexual assault.’ This is utter nonsense.”

“People coming out of nowhere with this sort of inane yarn is what happens in a media-driven feeding frenzy,” Singer added.

The Huffington Post subsequently reached out for further comment on Moritz and Leslie's claims, but had not received a response at the time of publication.

CARLA FERRIGNO

Carla Ferrigno told KFI radio station on Nov. 20 that she went on a date with a friend of Cosby's in 1967. She claims that he invited her to the comedian’s house after their dinner to meet up with Cosby and his wife Camille. After about 10 minutes, the two couples went to the movies, and then returned to the Cosbys’ home to play pool.

Once back at the house, Ferrigno says that both her date and Camille left the room as Cosby and Ferrigno played pool. Immediately after the pool game ended, Ferrigno claims that Cosby grabbed her.

“He was much bigger than me. Much bigger and he pulled me so hard and so rough. I had never been treated so roughly and he pulled me hard to him so hard,” she said on KFI radio station. “And then kissed me so hard, right in the mouth. No one has ever been that physically violent with me. I was stunned. I was frozen. I took all my body strength and used both of my arms to stop him and push him away from me. He was so forceful.”

ANGELA LESLIE

Angela Leslie told the New York Daily News that she was an aspiring actress when the 30-year-old met Cosby in 1992, when a driver “delivered” her to the comedian in his Las Vegas hotel suite. Once in the room, Leslie claims that Cosby told her: “If you want to act, show me what you’ve got. Pretend you’re intoxicated.” She says that he then offered her a drink, which she tasted and declined, because it was filled with alcohol. “Then he asked me to go into the bathroom and wet my hair. I walked back out, and he had removed his clothing and gotten into bed,” Leslie said.

She said the comedian pulled her into bed and put lotion in her hand. “With his hand on top of mine, he had me massage his penis,” Leslie said. “He masturbated with my hand. I wasn’t pulling back. I was in shock.” After a while she said Cosby became bored and told her to leave, telling the New York Daily News, “I didn’t drink the alcohol, and maybe since I didn’t pass out, he decided to get rid of me.”

LOUISA MORITZ

Louisa Moritz claims Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1971 in New York’s NBC Studios. Now 68, Moritz tells TMZ that she was waiting in the green room for an appearance on the Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show” when Cosby came into the room. She said he told her he was impressed with her work and "implied that he was going to see to it that I will become a major star through his direction,” Moritz told TMZ.

“Suddenly [Cosby] approached me and took out his penis, which was now in the line of my face and pressed up against it,” she said. "He took his hands and put them on the back of my head and forced his penis in my mouth, saying, ‘Have a taste of this. It will do you good in so many ways.’” Before walking out of the green room, Moritz recalls Cosby saying to her: "Now you don't want to upset me and the plans for your future, do you?"

Although the statute of limitations for any sexual assault committed in 1971 would have expired, Moritz told TMZ she still plans to file a civil lawsuit against Cosby.

Cosby was set to star in his own Netflix comedy special and a new NBC show, both of which have been since been postponed or canceled.

UPDATE: 2:42 PM -- Gawker is now reporting that two more women have stepped forward today with allegations against Bill Cosby: Renita Chaney Hill and Kristina Ruehli.

KRISTINA RUEHLI

Kristina Ruehli, who says she was one of the anonymous Jane Does set to testify in Andrea Constand's 2005 lawsuit against Cosby, spoke to Philadelphia Magazine. The 71-year-old claims that in 1965, at age 22, she met Cosby while working as a secretary at a talent agency. She says Cosby invited her to a party, and when she showed up, it was just the two of them. "He proceeded to pour some bourbon," she told Philadelphia Magazine. "I drank a bourbon-and-7 at the time. I could really hold my liquor. I'm Irish. And I had a couple of those -- just two -- and then I just don't remember much." She now believes that he drugged her.

According to Ruehli, her next memory was being in Cosby's bed:
It was all foggy, and I woke up in the bed. I found myself on the bed, and he had his shirt off. He had unzipped his pants. I was just coming to.

He was attempting to force me into oral sex. He had his hand on my head. He had his cock out, and he had my head pushed close enough to it -- I just remember looking at his stomach hair. And the hair on his chest. I had never seen a black man naked before.

And it never went past that. I immediately came to and was immediately very sick. I pushed myself away and ran to the bathroom and threw up.

RENITA CHANEY HILL

Renita Chaney Hill, now 47, told CBS Pittsburgh that she met Cosby in Pittsburgh when she was a 15-year-old model in the 1980s. She was cast in Cosby's “Picture Pages,” a series of educational TV segments, and was in contact with the comedian over the next four years. Hill also now believes that Cosby drugged her on more than one occasion, insisting that she drink when she was underage.

“One time, I remember just before I passed out, I remember him kissing and touching me and I remember the taste of his cigar on his breath, and I didn’t like it,” Hill told CBS Pittsburgh. “I remember another time when I woke up in my bed the next day and he was leaving, he mentioned you should probably lose a little weight. I thought that odd, how would he know that? I always thought it was odd that after I had this drink I would end up in my bed the next morning and I wouldn’t remember anything.” CBS Pittsburgh reported that Hill told them she does not remember whether Cosby forced sex on her, because she was drugged. She claims she cut off contact with Cosby when she was 19.

The Huffington Post reached out to Cosby's lawyers regarding the claims made by Hill and Ruehli, but at time of publication had not heard back.

Jimmy Kimmel Gets Into Bathroom Brawl With Freddie Wong Over Their Necktie Knowledge

A man's tie is knot to be trifled with.

Jimmy Kimmel recently ran into Freddie Wong of the hit Youtube series "Video Game High School" in a restroom and, well, one thing led to another and, obviously, they got into a brawl over their knowledge of necktie styles. What did you think was going to happen?

Whether it's the half windsor, the full windsor or the merovingian, knot safely out there, tie-wearers. And stay away from the dangerously unstable infinity knot. DO NOT STARE DIRECTLY INTO THE INFINITY KNOT!

10 Ways House Hunting And Dating Are The Same Thing

$

Anyone who has ever braved the big, bad world of dating and/or real estate understands that the two, while totally different, can be equally as daunting.

And while we're not saying we necessarily dislike either one (we shamelessly spend hours watching HGTV and are extremely well-educated on cuffing season,) we have to admit that when it comes to their less... desirable aspects, they're basically the same thing.

Here are ten ways we've proved it.

It can be seriously draining.

Answering those painful first date questions (so, where are you from? What do you do for a living?) is freaking exhausting. Similarly, hauling ass from open house to open house can pretty much suck the life out of a prospective tenant.

Pictures are deceiving.

As much as we're not about judging a book by its cover, we are guilty of using our very best photos on dating sites. Brokers, on the other hand, can somehow make that tiny, grungy, fifth-floor walkup look "cozy," and even, dare we say, spacious. (How DO they do it?!)

All the good ones are taken.

Cheezburger animated GIF

Ever walk into a friend's new place and feel a tiny albeit very real pang of jealousy radiate through you? How did they FIND it?! This rule doesn't apply to your friends' significant others (that would be a bit creepy) but it does seem like the great ones are usually, well, taken.

It annoys you when people ask you about it.

"Have you found a place yet?" is only second to "so are you seeing anyone?" in the cringe-worthy family question department.

It's worth it to spend a little more time and energy waiting to find the right one.

disney animated GIF

You wouldn't want to settle on a partner, and you certainly wouldn't want to settle on your home, either.

Timing is everything.

14 GIFs That Were In The Right Place At The Right Time

Like relationships, the right home can fall into place at the right time. We often find it comforting to tell ourselves that the apartment we missed out on "probably has bed bugs or something." The same rule applies for SO's. Because NO ONE wants bed bugs.

The beginning is really, really exciting.

happy animated GIF

Decorating and organizing a new place can give you those same first-stage-of-the-relationship butterflies. Everything is so new and fresh!

But it's even better once it's comfortable.

Because you know what you really want is to just be able to come home, put sweatpants on and sink into that amazing, worn-in couch.

It's NOT easy.

None animated GIF

Finding a home, like being with the right partner, takes a LOT of work and dedication.

But when it's right, it's SO worth it.

When you find The One, you just know.

Black Friday Shoppers Are Not Villains

$
0
0
We've all seen it on the internet, in television and probably on the radio. Black Friday shoppers are made to look like selfish idiots. I just want to take a moment though to explain why Black Friday shoppers are not villains.

1. They boost the economy

Even though stores are cutting prices, the entire point of black friday is to help retailers move from "in the red" to "in the black" so they don't go "in the hole" by the end of the year. We all know that several retailers have already made massive profits in the year, but look at it this way: they are providing more people with more jobs this year. Yes, they may be making a minimum wage, but they are earning a portion of the profits and for some people they really need that money. In addition, with the money people save by shopping Black Friday deals, they can use it elsewhere to boost the economy.

2. They have a good time

With exception to Black Friday violence, for the most part I believe people really are enjoying themselves. Believe it or not, some people get a thrill out of sleeping in a tent outside of a store for a few days. They can tell a great story and have the opportunity to share an experience.

3. They are supporting small businesses

Everyone puts a lot of focus on the major corporations benefiting from Black Friday, but small businesses do as well. For example, as a small business owner myself, I am able to finish off the year by promoting deals on my blog. I enjoy finding deals and posting them for my readers. People will even send me personal requests and I look into them. So while the deals I am posting are typically from large retailers, people purchasing using the links on my blog are supporting my small business.

4. They aren't necessarily away from their family on Thanksgiving Day

Black Friday isn't just one day now. It's almost an entire month. And now it's online. Since I myself post deals for Black Friday and I also head out to the stores on Thanksgiving night and the next day, I can tell you that I personally have noticed that the deals online are just as good if not better. So if you don't like the idea of sleeping overnight outside of a store, just roll out of bed and visit the website of your favorite blogger and you can get the same deals in your pajamas.

5. They are frugal

A lot of the people I have talked to that get excited about Black Friday deals are frugal. They are good stewards of their money and prefer to get the best deals at the best time of year. They often are aware of which items have a lower price at this time of year and they are simply shopping to take advantage of the prices rather than participating in the hype.

So next time you hear someone talking about being a Black Friday shopping, don't stereotype! It's not all hype!

9 Ways To Avoid Cracked, Dry Skin This Winter

Let's just put it out there: winter and skin are not the best of friends.

At this point in the season, your door can't hang one more heavy coat and your online shopping cart is full of one too many scarves, but let's not forget about the most essential part of winter: the ongoing battle with dry skin.

As the temperatures continue to drop, the dry environment and lack of moisture allows for cracked hands, chapped lips and scaly legs. Ew. This winter weather demands an upgrade to your skin care regimen, because nothing complements that seasonal vampy lip more than a hydrated, glowing face.

Read below for the basic rules to follow for skin care this winter.

1. Moisturize, moisturize, MOISTURIZE.
Moisturizing is an essentialpart of our skin regimen, but it's particularly so in this dry, freezing weather. Be sure to choose a product that is specific to your skin type and remember to apply within a few minutes of bathing to trap much-needed water.

2. Don't rule out the humidifier.
Yes, it takes up space and, yes, it's not the first item on your Christmas list, but the added vapor will hyper-hydrate your skin and help prevent a flaky, itchy outer layer.

3. Vaseline is your best friend.
Dry feet? Check. Dry elbows and knees? Double check. Lather up, ladies and gentleman, that little plastic container is your go-to all winter long. From lip balm to foot cream to makeup remover, this gooey substance can "fix" just about anything.

4. Keep a bottle of hand cream in your purse or on your desk.
Cracked-hands? No thanks. Keep your hands soft and healthy this season by keeping a bottle on hand -- those mini bottles of lotion make great stocking stuffers, by the way.

173862758

5. Don't shower in super hot water.
We know it's tempting, but showering in scalding temperatures tends to dry out your skin even more. Hot water removes natural oils from the skin, and the more oils removed, the drier the skin becomes.

6. Brush your lips with a toothbrush to get rid of that excess skin.
Because NO ONE likes chapped lips.

choosing the right toothbrush

7. What about those dry under-eye patches? Hello, Aquaphor.
It may be in the Vaseline family, but Aquaphor is the advanced therapy you need to survive the chilly season, specifically for those exceptionally dry areas. Meet you at Duane Reade.

8. Ditch the drugstore makeup remover wipes and reach for the cold cream cleanser.
The towelettes may be convenient, but the cold cream cleanser moisturizes AND removes makeup. Skin care products with added alcohols, and sulfates not only irritate but dry skin, too. We recommend Pond's.

9. Never forget Chapstick.
EVER.

Bonus: Don't shave your legs as often!
Hairy is better than scaly and who cares, you're wearing pants anyway.

Best Tweets: What Women Said On Twitter This Week

With the list of women coming forward with rape allegations against Bill Cosby growing and Uber threatening to investigate the private lives of female journalists, we'd say this was a pretty heavy week for women on Twitter.

But levity found its way in to a few moments amid the chaos. Alexandra Svokos braced herself for winter's big reveal, tweeting "We're getting dangerously close to the point at which I reveal to my coworkers that I wear Uggs." Jenni Konner also had some seasonal sartorial concerns: "Who will love me enough to tell me if I can pull off a hat?"

Harvard Lampoon editor Alexis Wilkinson captured our precise outlook on social interaction after this week: "A fun thing to do is say 'new phone who's this' to people in person." Yep, it's happening.

Thanks Rihanna, Now We Want THIS Lipstick Color

Let's be honest: Rihanna can pull off any makeup. So when we spotted the 26-year-old singer at a MAC Cosmetics event in Los Angeles rocking oxblood lipstick, we knew it wouldn't be long before others followed suit. (Yes, we're looking at you Kim Kardashian.)

The vampy, matte red color looked stunning against Rihanna's flawless complexion, and it amped up her pink and white gingham print Altuzarra suit. We're already huge fans of MAC RiRi Woo but this might be our new favorite lipstick shade.

Check it out for yourself below and see which other celebs made this week's best and worst list this week.

BEST: Rihanna

rihanna

It's really refreshing to see Rihanna wear a more demure beauty look. The soft bangs, messy top knot and dark lip color brings out a more elegant side of the envelope-pushing entertainer.

BEST: Kim Kardashian

kim kardashian

Yes, we know, the reality star is wearing a ton of makeup. But her face is the perfect example in the art of contouring. The blush hits right below her cheekbone and the center of her face is highlighted, drawing our attention to her burgundy pout.

BEST: Jessica White

jessica white

White looks like she walked straight off the runway and onto the red carpet with her pin-straight strands, subtle smokey eye makeup and oxblood lipstick.

BEST: Bianca A. Santos

bianca santos

We barely recognized "The Fosters" actress with the glamorous hair and makeup look. But we love how the dark lip color is offset by her emerald green gown and accessories.

WORST: Tallia Storm

talia storm

The Scottish-born soul singer is no stranger to taking her brunette locks to extreme heights. We just wish she would spend less time teasing and more time hydrating her dry, parched hair.

WORST: Kelly Osbourne

kelly osbourne

Clearly Osbourne is running out of ideas on how to style her lavender 'do because this braided and spiked style reads costume-y, not creative.

WORST: Evangeline Lilly

evangeline lilly

For a split second we thought Chelsea Handler had dyed her hair and chopped it into a blunt bob. Boy, were we stunned to realize who this really was.

WORST: Coco Rocha

We know it's hard growing out a haircut, but this tightly curled hairdo ages the supermodel beyond her years.

Photo from the collection of Irene Michaels.

In September the world lost a truly exceptional person, Joan Rivers. She shared so many things with us. She didn't just do something -- she became it.

She was comedy, she was fashion, she was television. Joan Rivers was in one word: ENTERTAINMENT!!! She was the consummate pioneer in every endeavor she attempted.

I began to think about several people out there who do exceptional things on a daily basis like Joan and wanted to do something to highlight their lives, and that's how I On Exceptional Living came to be.

During this series I will feature the people that I feel are the true trailblazers of our era.

NIKKI HASKELL

The gorgeous brunette was born in Chicago and raised in Beverly Hills, California. Nikki Haskell's amazing ability to seize the moment has made her a true pioneer and an entrepreneur. She is a champion horseback rider, the inventor of the Star Cruncher exercise system, a bestselling author of the Star Diet, an accomplished artist, and a film producer. When Nikki moved to New York, there were no women on Wall Street, and she became one of the first five female stockbrokers in the world. After ten years on Wall Street, Nikki changed her focus to the entertainment industry, which led her to create one of the most successful cable shows of all time, The Nikki Haskell Show. The popularity and success of the show resulted in a trail-blazing article on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. The Nikki Haskell Show captured the glamour and excitement of the 80's, shooting 300 half-hour episodes from all over the world. Nikki is using the library of her extraordinary footage to create a talk reality show, Flashback to the Future, which will relive memorable nostalgic interviews of icons such as Liza Minnelli from The Cannes Film Festival, Joan Collins from France, and First Lady Imelda Marcos. Never seen before footage of Tony Curtis, Steve Rubell, Sophia Loren and James Mason. Flashback to the Future will take you back to the memorable days of the 80's. Nikki will re-interview the stars today in their homes, restaurants and yachts. Flashback to the Future captures Nikki Haskell's exceptional life, taking her face to face with the rich, the famous and the outrageous. Her fearless nature, positive attitude and unique sense of humor helped her through many challenging times. Never under estimate her, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Everyone knows Nikki knows everyone...now it's our turn to get to know Nikki.

MAVIS STAPLES

Mavis Staples' deep, sultry voice is a celebrated feature of American R&B and gospel music, and she is best known for hits such as "Respect Yourself" and "I'll Take You There." In addition to a decades-long career with both her family as the Staple Singers and as a solo act, Mavis Staples was notable civil rights activist, traveling with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and performing some of the movement's most powerful anthems. For a time, the Staple Singers dedicated themselves solely to writing such songs, and have since been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

CINDY CRAWFORD

Cindy Crawford is an American supermodel whose success in modeling has brought her international acclaim and led to roles in television and film, as well as the opportunity to act as a spokesperson for various organizations.

Her fashionable furniture line, Cindy Crawford Home, has grown so successful that the multi-talented model now has the chance to give back to Chicago, the city that kick-started her career. Crawford has partnered with Art Van Furniture over the past 7 years to bring affordable style into the homes of thousands, but this year she has announced that she's taking on a new role: Art Van's Charity Challenge Ambassador. As part of an ambitious philanthropic mission, she will be featured in PSAs and raise funds for local charities in the region. Over last five years, the Challenge has donated more than $6 million in grants to 205 local charities and raised many millions more. American Music Awards Red Carpet 2014 Was Glamorous And Over The Top, Of Course

The American Music Awards took over Los Angeles on Sunday, and unsurprisingly it was outrageous.

Fergie arrived on a psychedelic tour bus, Jordin Sparks looked like a lost member of The Supremes in a bronze sequin gown and Meghan Trainor carried her brother's inhaler in her lip-shaped purse. We're still waiting to see if Taylor Swift can manage to top her amazing look from last year, and are keeping our fingers crossed for a Beyoncé sighting. But we think it's safe to say the AMAs glam is in full force.

Here are all the major American Music Awards red carpet looks, from the good to the awful. Which is your favorite outfit of the night?

This is... interesting.

Frankie J. Grande, TV personality, Broadway's "Rock of Ages" star and older half-brother of Ariana Grande, showed up to the 2014 American Music Awards in what we can only call a cartoon version of a button down, complete with a painted on bow-tie and some major abs. Of course, he topped off the look with matching (pink) hair and pants.

We can't tell for sure whether or not it's actually painted on or if it's just an illusion, but either way, we're pretty confused. Wild fashion on the AMAs red carpet is pretty standard, but this may just take the (very pink) cake.

Check out the look below while we try and make sense of the whole thing.

Gomez is set to take the stage at the AMAs to perform her newest single, "The Heart Wants What It Wants." The emotional video, released earlier this month, garnered buzz for its alleged allusions to Gomez's on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber. She discussed the video during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest:

Everybody wants to form their own opinions anyway. I think the biggest problem I had this year -- even with [Justin] and on his side -- is identity,” she said about her back-and-forth relationship. “I was trying to figure out what I’m doing, and that was the first time I was constantly being kicked down for doing that. When I didn’t know, I just wanted to say, ‘This is what I want, this is where I am in my professional life, things changed in my personal life, things changed in my heart -- everything.’ And people just thought, ‘Alright, this is what we think.’ And yeah, I made some decisions that weren’t great as well, and so did he and that’s why we went through all that to only make us better. And he has heard [the song] and he has seen the video, and it’s something that I feel like girls need hear, and it’s something I’m willing to share with people.

Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as always when she hit the red carpet for the 2014 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday night.

Lopez brought lots of glamour in an ivory bondage dress and silver sequin heels. J. Lo wore her hair slicked back and emphasized her gorgeous peepers in heavy makeup. She finished the look off with an ivory clutch.

The Bronx-born bombshell is set to perform her single "Booty" with Iggy Azalea for the first time on live television. TMZ previously reported that there will be a three to four second delay during the performance.
