Fur Runway At Fendi Might Raise Some Eyebrows (PHOTOS)

Just when you think fashion designers can't shock you anymore, Fendi goes and covers the runway with fur.

At the Fendi menswear show in Milan on Monday, the male models walked a runway covered with "an endless carpet of long-haired goat fur," Women's Wear Daily reports. The clothes also bore their fair share of fur in the form of elaborate collars and hoods, not to mention leather stamped to look like alligator skin.

But editors and bloggers watching on couldn't get over Silvia Venturini Fendi's furry choice of carpet and backdrop. And yes, it would appear it is actually real fur. Check it out.

In some Latin American countries, people believe that the color of your undies worn on New Year's Eve will influence your luck in the coming year. Playing to this superstition is a great way to focus on one thing you want to achieve, and working towards making it happen the very second the new year starts, so we're all about it. Plus, it involves underwear! And, with so many different choices of colors to choose from on the market right now, it won't be difficult to find the right New Year's Eve underwear before you toast "goodbye" to 2013 and say "hello" to 2014.

2013-12-30-Untitled1.jpg

1) Pink

Wearing pink is said to bring you luck in love and harmony. The Undergear Basix collection has a dark pink trunk ($18) that is simple and features a contrasting center seam on the contoured crotch pouch to add extra volume to your goods, while the sleek back hugs the curves of your buttocks.

2) Blue

Wearing blue is said to bring you good health, wellness and tranquility. Jor's Juice Blue boxer ($28.90) is sure to quench your thirst. This collection is made from a super soft 94 percent cotton and 6 percent spandex fabric blend. Every piece is designed in a teal shade of blue and they have bright white contrasting details in the elastic leg trimmings, contouring trim around the crotch pouch and in the wide elastic waistband.

3) Red

Wearing red is said to bring you passion, romance and love. The Jac5 Donaldo Boxer ($32) comes in a deep, passionate red. Unlike typical boxer shorts, these guys are constructed with back seat coverage to prevent any rising or bunching underneath trousers or pants. They also have a super-soft waistband on the inside to extend their comfort level, so you won't get any of those annoying ruffled waistbands digging into your skin and leaving marks.

4) Yellow

Wearing yellow is said to bring you prosperity, wealth and success. A great way to incorporate yellow this year is by wearing one of Cocksox's gold selections. The trunk ($32) is made from 94 percent cotton and 6 percent lycra. The trunk has a black and white vertical striped pattern and has the gold color in the elastic waistband and lining around the leg openings and crotch pouch.

How NOT to Throw a Dinner Party -- What We've Learned From Downton Abbey

2014-01-14-DowntonAbbeyKitchen.jpg

Downton Abbey addicts know that the PBS period drama, whose fourth season kicked off last Sunday, is delicious in more ways than one: the gorgeous clothing has influenced runways, the romantic entanglements have quickened hearts, and the dry one-liners regularly uttered by Dame Maggie Smith, as Violet Crawley, the Dowager Countess of Grantham, has inspired a number of viral Internet gags. But we realized when it comes down to it, the main sources for drama and intrigue on Downton come from two places that are particularly dear to us: the bustling, hot, crowded downstairs kitchen, and the elegant, crystalline dining room upstairs.

It's no surprise, really, that interesting things start happening where food and company are involved. Having learned from seven of the most riotous Downton dinner disasters, we put together a helpful primer for what to avoid when you're hosting a night in -- and what to do when what you desperately want to avoid happens anyway. Ring the gong and read on. (One minor spoiler ahead; skip no. 5 if you must!)

Disaster no. 1: Clash of Personalities: Sybil's former paramour Larry Gray spikes Tom Branson's cocktail with the 1920s equivalent of a roofie, causing him to start ranting about the merits of socialism at dinner. Gray humiliates Branson, calling him only "a grubby little chauffeur chap," and Lord Grantham is overcome with embarrassment.

The Lesson: Whenever you invite people over, especially family (never to be trusted!), always have diversionary methods planned for problem guests. For example, if the vein in your conservative grandfather's neck starts pulsating when your cousin begins discussing her recent pansexual experiments over winter break, loudly announce your bets for this year's Super Bowl pool.

Disaster no. 2: You're a Control Freak: Alfred, on duty as footman at dinner for the first time, drops a piece of meat on the Dowager Countess's plate instead of lowering the dish to let her serve herself. Good god, this isn't a hotel!

SEE MORE:Ingredients We Can't Cook Without

The Lesson: Being controlling isn't the only way to maintain control. You needn't handle absolutely everything; guests can exercise their own free will as well. You don't even have to cut their roast chicken into tiny pieces that are all exactly the same size -- unless they're five years old, or they ask you to first.

Disaster no. 3: Dinner Is Ruined:
Mrs. Patmore confuses sugar with salt and sends up a horrifying, bracken dessert while the Crawleys are entertaining important guests. Lady Cora desperately tries to "take the taste away" by demanding cheese and fruit.

The Lesson: Extravagant meal planning doesn't always result in dishes that look like they've come straight from one of Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbooks, so stick to preparing dishes that you know well and are guaranteed hits. In case of disaster, be sure to keep your fridge stocked with a few palate-cleansing snacks.

Disaster no. 4: Sabotage!: May Bird, Matthew and Isobel Crawley's first cook, takes over the Downton kitchen for a night while Mrs. Patmore is away. Out of loyalty to her boss, kitchen maid Daisy tries to ruin Mrs. Bird's cooking for the Granthams by slipping soap shavings in the pot.

The Lesson: It isn't really a dinner party (or a party at all, for that matter) if there isn't some kind of drama, whether it's happening in the kitchen, in your guests' head, or in the food itself. Once everyone arrives, your job isn't to worry about every little thing -- just keep the plates and glasses filled, and trust that the flavors of your food will wisely penetrate the atmosphere. In the case of soap shavings, well, see Disaster no. 3 above.

SEE MORE: The Food Lovers' Cleanse

Disaster no. 5: Not Enough Seats at the Table: Former housemaid (fired, but then rehired and -- minor spoiler! -- promoted as a ladies' maid in season 4!) Edna Braithwaite flouts convention and invites Branson to eat dinner downstairs in the servants' quarters, and he takes her up on it. Carson always knew that wretched chauffeur would bring shame upon the family.

The Lesson: The sudden arrival of late, uninvited, or unwelcome guests could ruin the entire evening if the tension isn't dispelled quickly. Take a page from Carson's rigid rulebook: Do your best to squeeze them in at the table and include them in conversation -- even if it means swallowing a little pride.

Disaster no. 6: A Scandalous Past Is Revealed: Isobel Crawley puts together a ladies' luncheon for Cora, Mary, Edith, and the Dowager at her home -- with treats prepared by her cook Ethel, a former Downton maid turned prostitute hoping to rehabilitate her image. A lady of the night pouring tea in Crawley house? Impossible!

The Lesson: Listen, open kitchens are one thing, but the majority of your gourmet meals out on the town are prepared by incredibly talented kitchen staff -- incredibly talented, sweaty, tattooed, foul-mouthed cooks of questionable backgrounds. Who cares what they do in their own time if their food is majestic?

Disaster no. 7: The Underdressed Guest: Branson turns up at dinner wearing a three-piece suit instead of the customary dinner tails. True to English style, everyone pretends not to care by making him feel horrible about it.

The Lesson: Even if your invitation to dinner specifies black tie or Twin Peaks-inspired costumes, not everyone is going to show up looking like James Bond or the Log Lady. But remember, attire isn't as important as a great group of people, witty conversation, and a damn fine cup of coffee at the end of the meal.

Disaster no. 8: Someone's Got Sticky Fingers:Carson discovers several bottles of wine have been stolen from the cellar. Newcomer Mr. Bates is first on the list of suspects, but his crush Anna knows better.

The Lesson: It would be a bit weird if a gentleman you invited over demanded to take home a half-finished bottle of wine -- or even odder, secretly shoved it in his backpack while you were clearing the table. Perhaps he just wants to enjoy a nice solo glass of Merlot at home while watching the season-four premiere of Downton, but is too ashamed to admit he's a fan of the show? Smile, nod, and send him off with his spoils if you must, rather than making a scene: In the immortal words of Lord Grantham, "They do say there's a wild man inside all of us."

Flea Asks 'Anybody Wanna See My C--k At The Super Bowl' After Halftime Show Announcement

Ten years after Janet Jackson's "Nipplegate," the NFL might want to prepare themselves for the possibility of "Penisgate" at this year's Super Bowl.

Last week came the announcement that the Red Hot Chili Peppers would join Bruno Mars on stage during the halftime show on Feb. 2. On Monday, the band's bassist, Flea, posed an interesting question on Twitter:

"Anybody wanna see my cock at the Super Bowl?" the 51-year-old asked his nearly one million Twitter followers.

HuffPost Entertainment has reached out to the band's rep for comment regarding the tweet, which has since been deleted.

The fact that Flea (who in the band's early years performed naked, save for a strategically placed tube sock) deleted the tweet so quickly could be tied to the NFL's anxiety over ensuring a family-friendly halftime show in the wake of "scandals" of years past.

Aside from Jackson's 2004 wardrobe malfunction, the NFL is currently suing M.I.A. for a reported $1.5 million in damages for flashing her middle finger while performing alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj at the 2012 halftime show. The legal battle has been raging on for more than a year, with the NFL apparently arguing M.I.A. breached her contract with the organization and damaged its reputation.

"Of course, the NFL's claimed reputation for wholesomeness is hilarious in light of the weekly felonies committed by its stars, the bounties placed by coaches on opposing players, the homophobic and racist comments uttered by its players, the complete disregard for the health of players and the premature deaths that have resulted from same, and the raping of public entities ready to sacrifice public funds to attract teams," Howard King, lawyer for M.I.A., told THR about the lawsuit last year.

Leonardo DiCaprio Kisses Girlfriend Toni Garrn After Winning The Golden Globe For Best Actor

Oh là là!

Leonardo DiCaprio received a celebratory kiss from his girlfriend, Toni Garrn, after he took home the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy on Sunday (Jan. 12).

He may have taken his mom Irmelin to the awards show, but DiCaprio made sure to meet up with his lady love at the CAA Golden Globes After-Party at the Sunset Towers in West Hollywood later that night. And the private actor shared a rare moment of PDA, smooching the German model on the lips as he greeted her at the bash. Garrn beamed as she saw her man, who looked handsome in a tuxedo.

dicaprio

DiCaprio, 39, and Garrn, 21, have been linked together since May 2013. "The Wolf of Wall Street" star has had a long history of dating supermodels, including Gisele Bundchen (2000 to 2005), Bar Refaeli (2005 to 2011) and Erin Heatherton (2011 to 2012).

Tina Fey poked fun at DiCaprio's love life as she announced him as a presenter at the Golden Globes, saying, "And now, like a supermodel's vagina, let's all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio."

DiCaprio gave Fey a nod and a smile as he walked onstage. (At least he can laugh about it, 'cause we sure can.)

The Best Face Wash For Men

Believe it or not, there's a very specific art to washing your face. We've already covered the best cleansers currently on the market, but let's not forget the men. Tom Ford certainly didn't when he launched his appropriately luxurious skincare range for men.

As it turns out, an effective face wash for men has the same criteria as an effective face wash in general. "Men should keep in mind the same things as women when shopping for facial cleansers," says dermatologist Dr. Jeannette Graf. "They should look for a pH–balanced facial cleanser."

Yeezianity, A Religion Based On Kanye West, Is A Thing That Exists

Ask Kanye West and he'll tell you he's many things -- a genius, the biggest rockstar in the world and a God -- and, as it happens, he's not the only one who thinks so.

The 36-year-old rapper has in fact inspired a new religion called Yeezianity, in which followers believe "that the one who calls himself Yeezus is a divine being who has been sent by God to usher in a New Age of humanity," according to the official website.

Noisey has an in-depth interview with the founder of Yeezianity, who explains that to become a member, one simply has to believe in a few key principles that the group calls the "5 Pillars":

1. All things created must be for the good of all.
2. No human being’s right to express themselves must ever be repressed.
3. Money is unnecessary except as a means of exchange.
4. Man possesses the power to create everything he wants and needs.
5. All human suffering exists to stimulate the creative powers of Man.

The group's founder, who has chosen to remain anonymous and created Yeezianity about a month ago, claims the religion is real.

"In a lot of ways, after I created it, I reflected on it and thought that this was just a rehashing of Christianity, but just throwing Yeezus instead of Jesus," he explained to Noisey. "And you know what? That's why I felt Kanye did it. He just put the name there. Jesus has all this baggage and all these connotations, and Yeezus is this new thing -- and that's why I say in the 'Our Savior' part of the site, 'We don't speak of his public persona.' Because Yeezus is when Kanye elevates to that God-level, which I feel like we all have the potential to do. That's why if it takes off, in the future, people would forget Kanye and his antics, and instead focus on what the message is."

No word on whether West is aware that he has inspired a religion, but we're pretty sure the discovery won't have any effect on his ego.

Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough Pose With Topher Grace For Golden Globes 'Prom Photo'

Apparently, the Golden Globes after-parties are like attending your high school prom -- well, at least according to Nina Dobrev.

The "Vampire Diaries" star and her BFF for life, Julianne Hough, posed for an epic "prom photo" with Topher Grace and actress Ashley Hinshaw before they headed off to the award show after-parties at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday (Jan. 12).

Dobrev posted the picture on her WhoSay account.

(We sort of wish our prom pictures looked like this.)

Dobrev and Hough, both 25, got all dolled up for the soirees -- Dobrev rocked a low-cut dress by Armani Privé while Hough slipped into a sheer Emilio Pucci dress.

Unbeknownst to many though, Dobrev was suffering from a nasty cold that night.

"Perfect day/timing to get sick! Ughhhhhh!" she wrote on her WhoSay page, posting a photo of all her medications. She later added another picture of her purse, writing, "ID ... Gum... Lozenges ... Tonights purse essentials for the night! #globes #sicky."

Lena Dunham Actually Did Her First Vogue Shoot In 1998 At 11

$

Vogue whipped everyone into a tizzy this month in anticipation of Lena Dunham's first Vogue cover. A cover is a big deal, a Vogue cover even more so -- it indicates, to put it simply, that a star has arrived.

But it turns out Dunham already arrived earlier than we thought. In the lengthy Vogue profile on Dunham, writer Nathan Heller notes that the "Girls" creator shot her first Vogue spread in 1998 at just 11 years old, as part of "a New York pack of fashion-conscious kids" shoot.

In it, a young Lena showed off a Helmut Lang–inspired dress she had sewed herself and went on the record:

"I tend not to go for trends. You can only wear them for two weeks... I really like Jil Sander, but it's so expensive... I find Calvin Klein really hard to respect because he's everywhere. I view him as a clothesmonger... Manolo is really classy."

ZING -- a young Wintour in the making, it would seem. 11-year-old Lena did follow her fashion judgments up with the following admission: "But five dollars a week [i.e., her allowance] isn't really enough. I'm just looking."

As it turns out, the photo shoot ran in Vogue but without a photo of Lena, which "bothered her," Vogue reports today. Instead of Dunham, twelve-year-old Jemima Kirke got her photo in the magazine. The rest is history, writes Vogue: "Dunham didn't know Kirke but, on spying the trademark braces at a dance one night, went up to introduce herself. They became fast friends."

Now Kirke plays Jessa on "Girls," and Lena's finally got the big Vogue photo shoot she always wanted. Leave it to Anna Wintour to make childhood dreams come true.

See the original 1998 story (and a photo of 12-year-old Jemima!) reprinted on Vogue.com.

Kylie Jenner Is Furious Police Wasted Taxpayer Dollars To Raid Justin Bieber's House

$

Perhaps you heard that the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department raided Justin Bieber's home in search of any evidence that links the pop star to the alleged egging of a neighbor's home, which caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage.

Police left empty-handed when it came to egg-related evidence and all they turned up was some molly (MDMA), which was not connected to Bieber but to his rapper friend Lil Za, who was promptly arrested.

If the raid on Bieber's home seems like a waste of police time and taxpayer money, you aren't alone. Kylie Jenner is right there with you. The 16-year-old reality star and friend to both Bieber and Lil Za, slammed the police for their aggressive pursuit of evidence when she retweeted Bieber's producer Maejor Ali's thoughts on the incident:

Jenner followed up with her own tweets, writing, "I never thought my friends would actually attack someone in the same position as me and my family. Not on your team no more." You hear that L.A. County Sheriff's Department? Kylie Jenner is not on your team anymore.

But Jenner isn't the only celebrity who thinks it's the police who have egg on their face. Kelly Osbourne tweeted, "You play you pay but really who gets arrested for throwing a bloody egg! #Hollyweird." Meanwhile, One Direction member Harry Styles, who is rumored to be dating Kylie's sister Kendall Jenner, chimed in by posting scrambled eggs to his Instagram page with the caption, "Egg off."

Meet The Women Changing Everything You Thought You Knew About Luxury Shopping

$

A 24-karat gold statement necklace, a sleek ceramic iPhone amplifier that's more objet d'art than tech gadget and rich, creamy anti-aging serums are the sorts of luxury goods that would seem to have very little to do with giving back. But businesswomen Severine Balick and Nathalie Verrando are working to make luxe shopping about more than just consumption for consumption's sake with MyGoodness, a U.K.-based shopping site aimed at turning their "buy-to-give" model into a global trend.

The site, which launched last July, primarily carries products that already give a portion of their profits to charitable projects. When costumers buy, for example, a blown glass carafe-and-glass set from Bib&Sola, a donation is made directly to Bib&Sola's chosen cause, Charity:Water, a nonprofit that works to bring safe drinking water to everyone in the world. For products that don't have a preexisting charitable element, MyGoodness donates 10 percent of the retail price -- at no extra cost to the shopper -- to one of its current charity partners, such as Chickenshed, an English theater company that celebrates diversity.

The world of luxury goods is familiar to both women. Verrando, a native of Monaco who now lives in London, is a communications expert who has experience with various multinational companies and an e-commerce website of her own. Balick, a native of Tunisia who also moved to London, holds a doctorate in economics and previously worked in business development for brands including Burberry and Stella McCartney. At some stage, however, "I felt a bit frustrated ... I wanted to do more," Balick said. "Maybe it's because it was a time in my life when I had young children and I wanted them to be proud of what I was doing. And I didn't think helping brands sell more bags and shoes was it."

Verrando had been thinking about how to create a platform to bring the "conscious consumer" together with brands and products that have a charitable component. She was looking for the perfect business partner and, years after meeting Balick through a mutual friend, decided to call her up and pitch the idea. That was in 2011. The pair dove into research and focus groups before launching MyGoodness in earnest. As with any startup, the hours have been long ("I'm not sure I have a husband, really," joked Verrando, who has a 24-year-old daughter. "I have to check!"), but both say the work is meaningful and feels "contagious." Balick's 8- and 11-year-old sons are indeed very proud of their mother's new path, even serving as in-house tech consultants from time to time, she laughed.

Courting brands has been difficult. Many of the big luxury brands the duo hoped would join their buy-to-give movement have been reluctant to commit, but Verrando and Balick said they continue to add brands steadily, and currently have more than 30. The site will soon auction off experiences (think opening nights at major theater or arts events), and will donate 80 percent of the winning bid. In the next few years, the partners also hope to launch a dedicated U.S. platform (presently, MyGoodness does offer global shipping) and create a destination not just for luxury shopping, but a community in which visitors can learn about charities and be inspired by philanthropic efforts around the world.

Because for Verrando and Balick, there is no conflict between the act of buying luxury goods and doing good.

"At the end of the day, you can't buy 10 bags or 10 pairs of shoes. Even those customers, at some stage, they have to think about, 'Can I do something better than just spend money on a bag?'" Balick said. "People want to make a difference today, and e-commerce is a really easy way for us to empower philanthropy."

mygoodness
MyGoodness sells everything from technology and home items, to beauty and fashion goods.

Lena Dunham Tells Vogue: 'Sexuality Isn't A Perfect Puzzle,' 'It's A Complicated Thing'

On the heels of the Season 3 premiere of "Girls" -- or just Lena Dunham's general, unrelenting cultural relevance -- the anti-ingenue is Vogue's new cover girl. The February 2014 cover story, written by Nathan Heller, explores the life, love and anxieties of America's favorite millennial. And homegirl is wise.

lenaadambedvogue
Vogue.com

Right away, Dunham responded to some viewer disapproval of her brief on-screen romance with Patrick Wilson last season, telling Heller there's really no such thing as a "perfect match" -- and that audiences need to see some more "imperfect" pairings:

It’s like, "Have you been out on the street lately?" Everyone dates everyone, for lots of reasons we can’t understand. Sexuality isn’t a perfect puzzle, like, "He has a nice nose and she has a nice nose! She’s got great breasts and he’s got great calves! And so they’re going to live happily ever after in a house that was purchased with their modeling money!" It’s a complicated thing. I want people ultimately, even if they’re disturbed by certain moments, to feel bolstered and normalized by the sex that’s on the show.

lenasubwayvogue
Vogue.com

While Dunham is known for her bare-it-all emotional transparency -- and recently responded to a (somewhat rude) question about her on-screen exposure by saying "I totally get it. If you’re not into me, that’s your problem.” -- she tells Vogue that she is actually a "private" person. Dunham told Heller:

It’s important for me to have a lot of time alone, and to have a lot of time in my house by myself. My entire life sort of takes place between me and my dog, my books, and my boyfriend, and my private world. To me, privacy isn’t necessarily equated with secret-keeping. What’s private is my relationship with myself.

When asked if her professional achievements have caused her to outgrow the generation she is charged with representing, Dunham explained that her rising star hasn't done away with the anxieties that most young adults -- and certainly the characters on "Girls" -- feel every day.

“I still go to a party and say something embarrassing to someone, and then write them a weird e-mail about it the next day, and then write them a text because I think they didn’t get the e-mail,” she says. “No matter what happens with your level of success, you still have to deal with all the baggage that is yourself.”

Jim Harbaugh's Wife: Throw Away The Pants, You Look Like ‘Rainman'

As the San Francisco 49ers prepare for their third consecutive NFC Championship Game this Sunday, it’s clear that head coach Jim Harbaugh has done a lot of things right. But when it comes to his staple wardrobe -- a Steve Jobs-style mock turtleneck tucked into belted, oversized, pleated khakis -- even his closest allies say it’s a bad call.

In perhaps the most hilarious radio show call-in ever, Harbaugh’s wife Sarah spoke with 99.7 FM's Fernando & Greg -- a popular gay radio duo and the hosts of an eponymous morning show. She had one thing to say about her husband’s wardrobe: Don’t blame me.

“Not very many things make me want to call into a radio station,” said Sarah. “But I will not take the blame for his outfit.”

She recounted her frustration at her foiled attempts to get rid of her husband’s infamous khakis.

“I’ve thrown them away many o’ times. I’ve asked him please! Pleats are gone! Wear the flat fronts. He’s got a flattering body!” she said, drawing howls of laughter from the station crew. “I threw them out and when he went to the combine he found a Walmart. They were $8. $8! He pulls them up to the middle of his stomach. I said 'you're aging yourself 50 years and you look like ‘Rainman.’’”

You tell ‘em, girl!

Though she refused to call it “superstition,” Sarah hinted that her husband’s outfit is something that can’t be altered in the postseason.

“I know [he] can’t change his outfit at this point in his career, just like he can’t get a new car," she explained. "He won’t make a change that could change other things.”

Fortunately, there may be hope: When asked whether Harbaugh might consider a “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”-style makeover by Fernando & Greg, Sarah said he would be open to it.

“He would be so open to it and I’ll tell you why,” she said. “I said 'next year, will you please let me dress you or someone else dress you?' And he agreed to that.”

Just in case anyone doubts Sarah's claim, a Twitter user recently snapped a photo of Harbaugh at Walmart buying -- what else -- khakis.

Men's Fashion Week Designer Calls Out Racism On The Runway In Most Effective Way (PHOTOS)

$

Fashion world, listen up: Native American headdresses are not a seasonal accessory.

This point was made loud and clear by Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck, who sent models down the runway wearing feathered headgear during his Fall 2014 show at Menswear Fashion Week on Wednesday. But unlike his ill-advised contemporaries, his headdresses were emblazoned with the sentence "Stop Racism."

Very clever, Van Beirendonck.

Perhaps the bold move was a satirical nod to the recent Chanel show in Dallas, which featured models wearing feathered headdresses. Or maybe the designer was referencing Karlie Kloss' now-infamous strut down the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show catwalk, complete with her own eyebrow-raising headpiece.

Then there was H&M's recent decision to sell its own version to the masses in Canada. The retailer subsequently pulled the items after Kim Wheeler, a customer of Ojibwa-Mohawk descent, wrote H&M to say that these headdresses are "a symbol of respect and honour and should not be for sale as some sort of cute accessory."

Clearly, Van Beirendonck had plenty to work with when it came to the fashion world's appropriation of Native American culture. Think people will finally get the message?

Charity 'Store' For The Homeless Gives Customers So Much More Than Just Clothes

The Street Store isn't really a store, if a store requires money being exchanged -- or an actual building with walls.

The Street Store, which opened on Tuesday in Cape Town, is a charity pop-up "shop" consisting simply of cardboard posters, each hung with clothing items and accessories. Everything is free for the taking for the neighborhood's homeless.

The clothing, reports Between 10 and 5, is all donated, and everything is up for grabs. There are assistants on site to help "customers" select items as they browse, and anything they choose to take will be wrapped up for them before they go. It's a true retail experience, with all the variety, leisure, freedom and dignity we love about shopping.

"It makes it easy to make donations as it is hosted in a public area, but it also dignifies the receiving process," Kayli Levitan, one of the The Street Store organizers and a copywriter from M&C Saatchi Abel, told Between 10 and 5. "Instead of feeling like they;re having old clothing thrown at them, the homeless get to have a full shopping experience. They can browse through the clothes, we'll help them find an outfit they like, it's wrapped up and off they go."

And it's not only Cape Town's homeless population that can benefit. The beauty of The Street Store's concept is that it can be replicated anywhere. All you need to do is print out The Street Store artwork from the website to make your own posters, add your own logo and find a public space (along with proper approvals from local government).

"We realized that homelessness and poverty isn’t a uniquely Capetonian problem. It isn’t even just a South African problem," Levitan said to Between 10 and 5. "It's world-wide." And now we all just have one more way -- one very easy way -- to help. Find out more at TheStreetStore.org.

Demi Lovato's looking good!

The "Let It Go" singer is feeling healthy and rested, and her fans are surely feeling jealous of her tropical travels. Lovato took to Twitter to post photos of herself relaxing and enjoying some down time. It looks like Lovato's on vacation, but she's actually working hard; the 21-year-old singer is currently training and preparing for her upcoming Neon Lights Tour.

The only casualty of her blissful surroundings? Her hair. Lovato doesn't seem too upset, however, that her locks have taken on a silver sheen as a result of her swimming.

Here's the real-life backdrop that Lovato's been able to gaze upon while she trains for her upcoming tour. Not too shabby.

Lovato's Neon Lights Tour will kick off in February of 2014 in Canada and run through May of 2014.
