Kylie Jenner is officially a blonde, and this time, it's for real.

The reality star and Snapchat queen revealed that all these months of wearing colorful wigs and weaves was all in preparation to get her locks to a healthy place before she trusted her stylists to break out the bleach and get her tresses to lighten up.

"Took months of not dying my hair and wearing wigs to get my hair back to health so I can do this!!," she captioned a photo of her new look on Instagram. "Thank you @priscillavalles@maishaoliver for putting up with me all day. I'm going for an ashy dirty blonde for the fall. But this shit's a process! I'm coming for u khloé!"

Of course, this isn't he first time we've seen the 18-year-old as a blonde, though Jenner donned a blond wig for her 18th birthday party, and she's rocked wigs and weaves of of every color for literally every occasion.

With A Polaroid Camera, Andy Warhol Was 'The Original Instagrammer'

$

The impulse to share our daily experiences on social media, to follow our friends' vacations and musical festival excursions and happy hour sunsets, is much of what this generation will be remembered for.

We're so absorbed in Instagram culture that scrolling through our feeds to pass the time in elevators or at the bar has become second nature. Even while writing this, two Huffington Post editors nearby discussed a photo as one suggested, "You should post that to Instagram! I'll share it on Snapchat."

But it would be ignorant to think this obsessive visual documentation is something born out of the 2010s. Andy Warhol was snapping photos of his surroundings long before Instagram's creators were even born.

"Andy was probably the original Instagrammer, in a way," Reuel Golden, editor of Andy Warhol Polaroids 1958–1987, told The Huffington Post over the phone. While the artist is well known for consorting with his own posse of Factory kids and superstars, as his films and photographs from the era reveal, he was also socializing with big-name actors, musicians, fashion designers and artists -- and documenting every bit of it. This intersection of the private and the public in Warhol's daily life came to light thanks to the Polaroid camera, which Golden called the "perfect tool for moving between capturing all those different facets."

Andy was probably the original Instagrammer, in a way.

Golden's book features Warhol's polaroids of everyone from Jack Nicholson to Audrey Hepburn, Divine to Jean-Michel Basquiat, Grace Jones to Yves Saint Laurent, and beyond. His collection of instant photos -- which amounted to over 20,000 Polaroids between the 1950s and his death in 1987 -- provided an intimate look at celebrities outside of their normal spotlight; an unpolished, impromptu glimpse at the lives of the rich, the famous and the pariahs revolving around him. If Instagram did exist in the 1960s and '70s, Warhol was the one account you'd be sure to follow.

"These portraits signify who was welcome into Warhol’s club," arts critic Richard B. Woodward writes in the book's introduction, "a place at once private, snobbish and hostile to middle-class squares and yet open to scores of outcasts, the prodigiously talented or the merely sensational and anyone making news on the front page or the gossip section of the tabloids."

There's hardly any working artist today who spends as much time socializing with as diverse an array of celebs, and who documents his time in such a spontaneous fashion void of blunt narcissism. That's precisely what separates Warhol's Polaroids from the famous Instagram accounts we follow today. Warhol's shots weren't taken with the intention of going viral or garnering massive, instantaneous attention -- at the time, such phenomena didn't exist in the public sphere. Instead, Warhol's unquenchable curiosity led him to snapping more shots, many of which radiate an intimacy and closeness to his subjects. The ubiquity of the Polaroid camera allowed Warhol to condense such bloated statuses of fame, success and glamour into the confines of a tiny white frame on a piece of inexpensive film. Somehow, figures like Debbie Harry and Audrey Hepburn became more human, more accessible when placed in front of Warhol's lens.

"With this celebrity culture these days, a lot of these celebrities have professional retouchers who work on their Instagram account," Golden told HuffPost. "I think to Warhol that was the very antithesis of what Warhol and his Polaroids in particular represent." It's the rawness in his instant photos that separates them from the filtered images of today; the flash bouncing off a slightly out-of-focus Nicholson in mid-sentence; a naked couple in the shower modestly smiling at the camera; Warhol's mother, Julia Warhola, holding a knife and apple in a messy bedroom wearing only a nightgown and rolled-down leggings.

This unabashed rawness is also present in his selfies. While the concept of a selfie, in and of itself, is wrapped up in pure self-promotion with an inherent air of vanity, Warhol's were ripe with vulnerability as he posed shirtless, content with exposing his imperfections.

"They show him getting older, they show him sometimes not looking his absolute best," Golden said. "But he wasn’t afraid to expose himself in that way."

Looking through these selfies alongside the instant portraits Warhol took of celebs and friends, it seems the artist was on a unending mission to capture people in their most natural states, as he viewed them. And if he couldn't capture it the first time, he'd take more and more shots until he got it right. Repetition: Warhol's modus operandi.

"In the book [subjects] appear multiple times," Golden explained, as he recalled unearthing hundreds of photos of Warhol's dog Archie in the Andy Warhol Foundation's archives. The book features multiple shots of Yves Saint Laurent, Dennis Hopper, landscapes and a quartet of test shots for Billy Name's famous Rolling Stones "Sticky Fingers" album cover. "This idea of repetition was a very essential part of his ethos. The Polaroids helped him to realize that," Golden added.

What better way to replicate an image quickly with such instantaneous satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) than with a Polaroid camera?

These portraits signify who was welcome into Warhol’s club, a place at once private, snobbish and hostile to middle-class squares and yet open to scores of outcasts, the prodigiously talented or the merely sensational.

It's natural to wonder whether Warhol would've taken a liking to the iPhone and social media today. While Woodward writes in his intro that Warhol was "never one to run with a crowd," it's not hard to imagine the artist carrying a selfie stick wherever he went, snapping Polaroids backstage at award shows, or devouring the bursting concoctions of fame at events like the Met Gala. Kim Kardashian would've undoubtedly titillated Warhol's fascination with pop culture and vanity. But in front of his lens, the Kardashian would've been stripped of her well-manicured persona, wiped of Photoshopped filters and likely shown in a way we've never seen her before.

In his art, Warhol wanted people to see things as they were, as the Polaroids in Golden's book exemplify. Flipping through its pages feels like the closest we'll ever get to Warhol's daily life at the time, closer than any Instagram account can make us feel to today's celebs.

"If you want to know all about Andy Warhol," the artist once said of himself in a 1966  interview, "just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, and there I am. There’s nothing behind it."

Andy Warhol Polaroids 1958–1987 is now available at TASCHEN.com.

Well, Hello September! As fall approaches, I took advantage and decided to take my favorite purple ankle boots for a walk. I paired them with this colorful floral print blazer (which has been sitting in my closet since last summer) and these supper skinny grey jeans, to balance the outfit out. Ladies, don't be afraid to add a pop of color. This look was perfect for an early gloomy florida date night (despite the humidity) I survived but my hair didn't. Thank you for stopping by.

So, How Do You Feel About Vince Wilfork In Overalls?

If you haven't caught up to this season of HBO's "Hard Knocks," allow us to give you the only recap you need:

Vince Wilfork is a gem, a treasure and the breakout star of this year's series.

To begin, we were reintroduced to the 12-year veteran in the season premiere with the All-Pro defensive tackle calling himself "a modern-day Michael Jordan."

Vince Wilfork: The Modern Day Michael Jordan [Episode 1 Preview]

Catch former New England Patriots All-Pro DT Vince Wilfork on the field (and court) with his new team on Tuesday's premiere of #HardKnocks: Training Camp with the Houston Texans.10PM/9C on HBO

Posted by Hard Knocks on Monday, 10 August 2015

Wilfork, after 11 years with the Patriots, signed a two-year deal with the Houston Texans in March, who are the subject of this season's "Hard Knocks." We're only four episodes in and Wilfork, unsurprisingly, is a delight.

Basically, the show has turned into Wilfork's own fish-out-of-water story, as he lives life in a new city with a new team for the first time since being drafted in 2004.

In addition to making it rain on the basketball court, in this week's episode, the world was #blessed to see 6'2", 325-lb Wilfork don a pair of overalls.

WORK IT, VINCE. WORK. IT.

In case you all were wondering what exactly a M-A-N looks like ...

Big sexy indeed. God bless America. God bless football. God bless Vince Wilfork.

Strength is Sexy

2015-09-01-1441134528-9772670-StrengthisSexy.jpg

What's sexy today? How do you achieve strength? Do you have courage? I see strength in the news today and boy is it sexy. Use this blog entry to heat up your love life. I'm talking about having an aha moment around the courage to have straight talk, people. Let me explain. In recent news, Tennis pro Serena Williams aims to equal Steffi Graf's record and undefeated bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey accepts an invite to Marine Corps Ball. In my opinion, these women are the epitome of what strength and sexy are today. They not only maintain strong bodies, but are focused, committed straight talkers on a mission. Are you? Strong? Sexy? A straight talker? I assert they're connected.

Take note of how society defines values like strength. Or sexy. Ponder how society shapes us and the values we pursue. Then share with others. If you're seeking a public platform for yourself, share your sound bites, stories and ideas also with media friends. Evaluate how people pursue strength or intimacy for themselves. I did that in my most recent YouTube vlog entry, "Sharing is caring," where I talk about how I arrive at my own sense of strength (I use Spinning, Spartan Races) and why I pursue sharing with another person as an avenue toward intimacy. In fact, sharing with at least three other people this week what I hope to accomplish the next three months is in fact my homework from a new Landmark seminar called "Breakthroughs, Living Outside the Box" I started last week.

I was not only inspired to create the video from my seminar homework, but also after reading a blog Reuters recently published by Lynn Stuart Parramore entitled, "How capitalism turns love into addiction." It explores societal and historical influence on human addiction, love, connection and choice. Since the public hack, millions have evaluated the Ashley Madison adultery site and evidently there are more robots than women on the site. That's not a big surprise in the age of phishing. It's an example of how we've digitized our experience of love, or I should say sex and intimacy. Parramore's view on how capitalism, love and addiction are entwined fascinates me. She may be right in her analysis of capitalism. However, no matter how society conditions you, I believe the main path to personal and relationship strength is courage and the ability to talk straight. In other words, when you're having a one-on-one conversation with a loved one in your life, do you say what there is to say or do you hide behind small talk regarding the weather, your house or current events?

Rousey and Williams look strong. We can all look strong. What matters is the courage to be strong when challenging conversations arise in relationships. How do you experience intimacy - true intimacy with another one-on-one? Whether it's a lover, a mother or a friend, do you have the courage to knock out lies? To backhand BS? To put a choke-hold on made-up stories about another? You know what I mean. So many people are afraid to have a straight conversation with their spouse about the dishes in the sink and then over time, their inability to communicate can lead to division, separation and then divorce. What if we did our daily workouts with communication like Rousey and Williams work out at the gym? Could we then draw intimacy to us? Talking about the dishes in the sink may seem like a mundane task, however, do you have the courage to speak up about what's important to you?

Speaking straight takes courage. It takes strength. That's sexy. That's real intimacy.

Share with others - especially media friends who influence many - what you think makes up real intimacy, courage and strength. Then we'll all benefit from your insights. Have the strength to share.

Jennifer Lawrence Embodies Old Hollywood Glamour In New Dior Ad

Jennifer Lawrence's new Dior ad is here to teach us a lesson in lipstick application.

In the clip, the "Joy" star looks stunning, as usual, as she expertly applies her magenta Dior Addict lip color, one slow and steady swipe at a time. She barely even uses her tiny compact mirror to get the outline straight -- now that's talent.

JLaw looks like an old Hollywood starlet with an updated modern edge. Her blond bob is left down and wavy and her brows are groomed to perfection.

"Don't be shy," she tells viewers as Fischerspooner's "Emerge" plays in the background. "Shine."

It's as simple as that. Watch below to see for yourself.

Makeup Tutorial By Acid Attack Survivor Teaches More Than Lipstick Tips

Since surviving an acid attack that disfigured her face, Reshma has nailed down a daily beauty routine. But while offering her lipstick tips, the advocate also shared a dark reality about such gruesome crimes.

Together with nonprofit Make Love, Not Scars, Reshma filmed a makeup tutorial, and along with her tips, she reminded viewers just how easy it is for attackers to prey on their victims. Reshma notes that lipsticks and eyeshadows are just as readily available at a store as acid is.

“You’ll find a red lipstick easily in the market, just like concentrated acid,” Reshma says. “This is the reason why, every day, a girl becomes a victim of an acid attack.

Every year, about 1,500 women are attacked with acid, the Wall Street Journal's India Real Time blog reported in 2013.

These attacks disfigure victims’ appearances, and their muscles and internal organs are often damaged as well.

They struggle to find work, and many are driven to suicide, according to the State Department.

To help curb these gruesome attacks, Make Love, Not Scars -- a group that supports survivors -- is working to ban acid from being sold in stores.

The group recently launched a petition that, as of Wednesday, collected more than 2,000 signatures.

In addition to working to stop the sale of acid, the group also shares survivors’ stories and supports their rehabilitation.

Rekha, who’s from Bangalore, India, was attacked by her husband at 2013. She suffered burns on her face, hands and chest.

Through social media, Make Love, Not Scars raised 100,000 Indian rupees (about $1,500) for her treatment.

Learn more about the petition and how you can get involved here.

The 19-year-old just starred in her first full-length fragrance commercial for Estée Lauder, and it's red hot.

Even hotter is a short video the cosmetics company shared on Instagram on Tuesday, featuring the model in a bright red satin dress, while she practices her best come-hither stare -- and it's safe to say she's mastered the look.

Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Split After Two Years Of Marriage

Another celebrity relationship falls victim to the summer of celebrity splits as Avril Lavigne announced on Wednesday that she and Chad Kroeger are separating after two years of marriage.

"It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support," the 30-year-old Canadian wrote in an Instagram post.

Kroeger proposed to Lavigne in August 2012 after dating for just over a month. They married in July 2013 in a lavish ceremony in a castle in the south of France. The couple sport matching tattoos with the phrase "live in the present moment" in French on their left forearms.

The split comes as no surprise, since rumors the couple's marriage was in trouble began last September, when the singer celebrated her birthday without the Nickelback frontman.

The "Complicated" singer was previously married to Sum41 frontman Deryck Whibley, who happened to remarry on Sunday

Why We Need More Diverse Faces On Every Magazine Staff

$

0

At least eight magazines feature black women on their covers this September, which is a major move considering the September issue is the industry's most highly-anticipated release.

While this is a step in the right the direction, some argue that the push for more diversity on the magazine's covers should also be one reflected among the publication's staff.

Julee Wilson, HuffPost Style senior fashion editor, joined HuffPost Live on Monday to discuss the work she said the fashion world still needs to do.

"It starts with the people making the decisions there, [there] have to be people behind the scenes, there have to be editors--black editors, there have to be black casting directors, black fashion directors and there just aren't," Wilson told HuffPost Live host Zerlina Maxwell.

Wilson uses the Allure Magazine "You, Yes You, Can Have An Afro" article as a an example of the problems that arise from a homogenous staff of white decision makers.

Morgan Jenkins, an editorial assistant at Catapult magazine, goes so far to call the article "a slap in the face" and points to the content both inside magazines and on their social media platforms as a representation of the lacking cultural diversity.

"Either there are no black people in the staff room to say hey this is a problem or he or she is not comfortable speaking up because they're afraid of being fired," Jenkins said.

Nina Garcia, the creative director at Marie Claire appeared on HuffPost Live last week and echoed similar statements about the disparity of African Americans in the fashion industry.

"There's not enough African American girls on the runway and that is a huge problem," Garcia said. "There's not enough African American girls on the covers, but that is changing and really the change has started."

While the world of fashion is making slow progress to include minorities in representation there's still much to be done to fully address issues of race and inequality in the industry.

"You're not going to see the type of diversity that reflects what diversity we see amongst us in the world when you don't have that diversity reflected on the staff at these publications," Wilson said.

Ellen Degeneres just reached a new level of awesome. The comedian and talk show host teamed up with Gap to launch GapKids x ED, which is described on the company's site as "a collaboration dedicated to supporting girls just as they are, whether they skateboard or dance, wear dresses or jeans, build forts or paint rainbows, or everything in between. We encourage girls everywhere to take pride in what makes them unique."

The clothing line includes fun T-shirts with empowering messages, comfy pants, dresses and fierce jackets, as well as accessories like hats, bags and decorative patches. An ad campaign features “inspiring real-life girls” like the Pink Helmet Posse skateboarders, a professional drummer and a 9-year-old prosthetic hand engineer.

"We focus so much on our differences, and that is creating a lot of chaos and negativity and bullying in the world," Degeneres says in a promotional video. "And I think that if we focus on what we all have in common which is ‘we all just want to be happy’ that would be a lot better."

In an interview with British Vogue, Ellen spoke about the message behind the clothing collection. "I know from my own experience that nothing makes you feel better than being who you are and celebrating what makes you unique," she said, adding, "I think if we shine a light on real girls doing incredible things, that'll encourage other girls and boys to do incredible things, and that'll encourage even more people to do incredible things, and eventually the world will be a more incredibler place."

Right on!

What Is Rosewater, And Can It Improve Your Skin?

$

0

"Beauty Glossary" is a HuffPost series that breaks down beauty product techniques, treatments and ingredients so you know exactly what you're putting onto and into your body.

While a dozen roses look beautiful in a vase, the beauty world has another use for these incredibly romantic flowers: rosewater.

The fragrant liquid -- created through the steam distillation of rose petals -- has several beauty benefits that make it suitable for all skin types and conditions, according to Dr. Tabasum Mir, a skincare physician in cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic laser surgery. Often found in facial sprays, toners, moisturizers, makeup removers and masks, rosewater has ancient homeopathic roots dating as far back to ancient Egypt.

Mir highly recommends rosewater for people with sensitive skin or rosacea, because its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe irritation, and can help calm skin after having a facial procedure or applying too much retinol.

"It's anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, has antioxidants and it hydrates -- four main reasons why it's so affective and can be used for so many reasons," says Mir. Vitamins A and C and the antioxidants found in this aromatic solution can also help repair sun damage and hydrate drier complexions. "It's also good for those who are acne prone because people don't realize that acne is caused by bacteria on the surface of your skin," says Mir.

Mir believes the "aromatherapy kick" you get from spritzing your face with rosewater is good for elevating your mood and making you feel fresh and awake. "It's a great pick-me-up throughout the day and can be used to set your makeup," she adds.

One word of caution when shopping for beauty products with rosewater: Be sure to pay close attention to the ingredients. While Mir says there are hardly any side effects of using rosewater, it can potentially irritate skin if mixed with other things such as drying alcohols or synthetic fragrances. As always, be sure to patch test any new beauty products you introduce into your routine.

Want to add rosewater to your beauty regimen? Click through the slideshow to learn more about its beauty benefits and to shop our editors' picks.

DIY Skin Care Using Items Found in Your Pantry

$

Lavish skincare products needed for beautiful and radiant skin can be found right in your own home. There is little to no need to spend a fortune on products that promise brighter, softer and more vibrant skin. The best part of DIY skin care is getting amazing results while avoiding putting your skin in contact with potentially harmful chemicals. Below are some of my favorite DIY treatments that only take minutes to whip up.

Organic Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has many benefits not only for your health but for your skin. It is wonderful for anti aging and helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your skin. Apply ½ teaspoon of coconut oil directly onto your face and work it into your skin using circular motions. After a few minutes wash off the oil with your favorite cleanser and warm water. If desired you can add the tiniest drops of the oil into your face moisturizer and apply it to your face and neck. Coconut oil is known to soften, brighten and clear up blemishes on the skin.

Nature's Way Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil, 32-Ounce

Raw Honey

Honey is known to help moisturize, fight aging and fight bacteria. Mix 1 tablespoon of raw honey with 1 egg white and apply the mask directly to your face for about 15 minutes. Apply this mixture twice a week to both brighten and tighten your skin.

Really Raw Honey - Totally Unprocessed, 16-Ounce

Turmeric

Tumeric is a spice derived from the roots of the curcuma longa plant. It is normally known for its health benefits when used for cooking. Turmeric is also an inexpensive and natural way to treat several skin problems such as stretch marks, wrinkles, acne, blemishes and dark spots. This yellow spice possesses antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix ½ teaspoon of Turmeric powder with 1 tablespoon of raw honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Once a paste forms, apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Use your favorite cleanser and cold water to wash it off.

Simply Organic - Turmeric - 2.38 Oz.

Witch Hazel

If you look at some of your beauty products you might notice the ingredient Witch Hazel in them. This is a very good thing. Witch Hazel is known to refresh skin, lock in moisture and treat sunburns. Whisk 1 egg white until it is a stiff consistency. Add 6 drops of Witch Hazel and 6 drops of lemon juice to the egg white and mix. Apply to your face and wash with warm water after about 15 minutes.

Humphrey's Witch Hazel Astringent, 16 Ounce

Sugar

While sugar isn't so great for your waistline it can do wonders for your skin as a natural body scrub. Mix ½ a cup of sugar with ½ a cup of olive or coconut oil. Use about 1 to 2 tablespoons as needed in the shower. Scrub your body with the mixture and rinse will. Your skin will be left feeling like silk. This scrub is incredibly moisturizing and exfoliating to the skin and only cost pennies to make.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is a great exfoliant and treatment to calm acne and overactive oil glands. Mix about 1 ½ tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of water to make a paste. Wash your face with warm water prior to applying this mask. As the mask dries it will lift impurities away from your face. After the mask is completely dry gently wipe it off with warm water and a washcloth. Apply a generous amount of moisturizer as baking soda can be drying to the skin. I only recommend this as a spot treatment for those of you with overly sensitive or dry skin.

Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda, 8oz(227g)

Green Tea

In a perfect world we would all be getting 8 glorious hours of sleep a night. In reality, this is hardly the case and many of us end up walking around with puffy dark circles under our eyes. While under eye creams can be great, they can also run up to $200 for some of the higher end products. Before throwing a bunch of money into these products, try out some green tea bags on your eyes. Take two green tea bags and steep them in hot water for about 3 minutes. Take the tea bags out and place them in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and allow them to cool. In the meantime you can relax and enjoy the delicious cup of tea you just made. Once the bags have cooled, squeeze out the excess water until the bags are just damp and not dripping. Lay down and place the bags over your eyes for about 20 minutes. Remove and gently rinse your face. For optimal results do this at least once a week. Not only does green tea contain caffeine, which can help shrink blood vessels around the eyes, but it also contains tannins that are known to stimulate healthy blood circulation and tighten and soothe skin.

Rice Flour

Rice flour is a known ingredient to treat blemishes and wrinkles. It also has exfoliating properties that are known to brighten the skin. Making this mask for your face is super easy. Mix 2 tablespoons of rice flour with 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Apply the mixture to your face for about 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. Apply this mask two to three times a week for the best results.

Watch How Lingerie Has Shrunk Over The Past 100 Years

In the past 100 years, lingerie has undergone quite an evolution. From humble utilitarian beginnings, these delicate, sensual items of clothing now have entire fashion shows dedicated to them.

Thanks to a new video from Mode, you can watch lingerie as it changes throughout the decades (there's even a 1960s bra-burning moment!) It's also interesting to note that while some styles may look outdated and old-fashioned, others items look very similar to what's in stores today.

But most of all -- make sure to stay tuned for the ending. It's an important reminder that no matter what lingerie you're wearing, confidence is what's truly sexy.

Wendy Williams 'Disappointed' By Nicki Minaj's VMA Clash With Miley Cyrus

Wendy Williams was not impressed by Nicki Minaj's brash confrontation with Miley Cyrus at MTV's VMAs on Sunday.

Although Minaj officially put one feud to rest during the award show, she had some strong words for Cyrus, calling her a "b**ch" for her comments about the rapper in The New York Times.

In an interview with HuffPost Live on Wednesday, Williams explained why she considered the clash to be in poor taste.

"I was very disappointed in Nicki and I don't have an opinion on either one of the girls -- bad, good or indifferent, they're both talented in their own way, she told host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani. "I just feel that Nicki is like twice Miley Cyrus' age and it would have been nice if Nicki would have just taken her award, rolled her eyes and looked at the camera and then kept it moving."

Bottom line? Williams hoped Minaj would take the high road.

"Who fights with kids?" she asked.

Here's What Men Really Think Of Your First Date Look

Is there anything more nerve-wracking than picking out a first date outfit? Probably, but it is definitely a source of major anxiety for both sexes. But especially women, because there are so many more options (heels, no heels, makeup, no makeup, skirt, pants, dresses etc.). More decisions, more stress.

At the end of the day, what you wear on a first date doesn't really matter and what your partner thinks of said look matters even less, but we can't help but be a little curious -- what do men really notice about woman's first date outfit?

To find out, we teamed up with AskMen.com and conducted a survey asking over 900 dudes about first date outfits. Below, we compiled the results into an infographic created by our own Jessica Kane. Scroll all the way to the bottom for our thoughts on the matter.

Interestingly, the men surveyed spend, on average, 30 minutes getting ready for a first date (what they could possibly be doing for 30 minutes, we'll never know) and they apparently really notice a woman's nails. We were happy to see that when it comes to women's hair and nails, most men have no preference. Maybe we can all start stressing a little less about our first date outfits now?

The survey was conducted on AskMen.com from August 12-25, 2015. A total of 961 men were surveyed. The age breakdown was as follows: Under 18 (9 percent), between 18-24 (45 percent), between 25-34 (31 percent), between 35-44 (8 percent), between 45-64 (6 percent) and over 65 (1 percent).

The Internet has been abuzz with palpable anticipation from the minute Dior announced Rihanna as its newest spokesperson. Not only because she was the first black woman to ever land the coveted contract, but also because, well, she's Rihanna

After a sexy, successful debut, Rihanna is showing off her modeling chops once again, this time in a new shoot for Dior Mag.

The bad gal, who posted a peek at the photos to Instagram Wednesday night, stayed true to her sultry self in a series of poses, clad in a seemingly see-through dress and a skintight, geometric bodysuit.

The gorgeous look was paired with a rich, red lip with slicked back hair to match. While she kept captions to a minimum and let the photos speak for themselves, she did get playful on one of the photos, captioning it "all @Dior errthang!"

Keep shining bright like a Dior diamond, Ri.
