Willow Smith's First Chanel Campaign Is Too Cool For School

All eyes are on Willow Smith -- and Willow Smith's eyes.

Chanel's just-released fall/winter eyewear campaign features the famous 15-year-old, who appears looking less like a space goddess and more like a bespectacled one:

The images and corresponding video mark Smith's first campaign with the brand after being named its newest ambassadress in March. Calling her "a multifaceted artist, writer-composer-singer and actress," the brand explained in a statement why creative director Karl Lagerfeld chose her for the campaign:

Willow Smith is the embodiment of her generation's spirit. Her youth and energy charmed Karl Lagerfeld who has invited her to join the family of Chanel muses. With characteristic natural poise, the young trendsetter was instantly at ease in front of the designer's camera.

It's no surprise that Smith, ultimate cool girl and half of what may arguably be the coolest sibling pair in Hollywood, was comfortable posing for the shoot. She's already starred in campaigns for the likes of Marc Jacobs and graced the cover of Teen Vogue back in April.

We'll be keeping our eyes open for more Smith realness to come.

Holy Rainbow Unicorn Eating An Ice Cream Cone, A Lisa Frank Coloring Book Is Coming

$

Attention, stressed out millennial women of the world: Do you want more than anything to time travel back to a simpler time? Specifically, the totally rad 1990s, when you no longer believed in the tooth fairy (duh) but did most definitely believe in a rainbow universe of painting pandas, ballerina bunnies, bears trying to make it in Hollywood, and dolphins who love to collaborate with other dolphins to create a heart-shaped formation?

Well then, great news. Like, super spectacular, magical, make-your-eyes-cry-uncontrollable-multicolored-tears news. Her majesty Lisa Frank is coming out with an adult coloring book.

Yes, according to Instagram, the notoriously mysterious Madame Frank of Tuscon, Arizona, is sharing her creative gifts with grown ass women everywhere, via the therapeutic magic of an adult coloring book. Oh, Lisa, how we've missed you!

As we've reported on time and time (and time) again, coloring is a magical process, one that has the power to transport an anxious and frazzled adult back to the days when coloring was an established part of the day's curriculum, along with nap time, snack time, and other very important young person responsibilities. The healing power of creative expression, combined with the nostalgia factor and meditative awareness, makes adult coloring books a wildly popular way to destress, whether or not you consider yourself a gifted artist or a talentless waste of space.

There are already a handful of Frank-tastic coloring books for a younger set available for purchase online, but this is the first time Lisa Frank has catered to the adult set -- i.e., her original, true fans. It's about time Ms. Frank jumped on the bandwagon, bringing her much-beloved crop of anthropomorphized critters into black-and-white illustrations, just begging to be dressed up in the aquamarine, shocking pink and neon green hues they so adore.

We're still not sure exactly when the coloring books will be released, but according to Instagram, they're coming soon. Perhaps we can use our handy Lisa Frank tarot cards for some guidance. Until then, we'll have to soothe our unconscious minds by staring at Photoshopped pictures of *NSYNC in Lisa Frank gear. Or something.

Queen Elizabeth II Responds Hilariously When Asked How She's Doing

$

There's no humor like queen humor.

Queen Elizabeth II is in Northern Ireland on a two-day trip, attending receptions, unveiling statues and reminding everyone of her keen joke-making abilities in the face of a rough month in the United Kingdom (or her own increasing years).

She met with Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness on Monday, and we can only imagine he was taken aback after he asked the 90-year-old if she was well.

"Well, I'm still alive, anyway," she replied with a laugh.

Then, like your two best friends over brunch, McGuinness and Elizabeth got to talking about how busy they are. But lest you think her majesty was consumed with thoughts of, say, her country exiting the European Union, or the English soccer team's humiliating "second Brexit" on Tuesday, she suggested that no, it's in fact all those darn 90th birthday celebrations she's had in recent months.

"I've had two birthdays, so we've been quite busy," she said.

Talk about being the birthday queen, eh?

Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Wedding Photo Proves She's Truly Ageless

Julia Louis-Dreyfus posted the sweetest throwback photo to celebrate her wedding anniversary ... and we can't help but notice the actress hasn't aged one bit.

Over the weekend, the "Veep" actress posted this photo of her wedding to Brad Hall on June 25, 1987, after the pair met at Northwestern University.

29 years ago today. A good choice. #remain

A photo posted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus (@officialjld) on

"29 years ago today. A good choice," Louis-Dreyfus sweetly reminisced.

But other than the big, poufy sleeves on her dress (Elaine Benes would totally love this), we'd never have guessed this photo was taken nearly three decades ago.

Louis-Dreyfus somehow manages to look exactly the same today at 55.

She swears she hates the word "anti-aging," preferring to call it "pro-aging," and says she doubts she'll ever have plastic surgery because her husband wouldn't go for it.

“I like that he likes me as I am — that’s important to me,” she said in a 2013 interview with Health Magazine.

And who can blame him? Lookin' good, JLD.

6 Women Share How They’ve Redefined Beauty In New Dove Campaign

You define your beauty.

That's the message behind the new Dove campaign #MyBeautyMySay. The campaign, which launched Tuesday morning, features the stories of badass women proudly expressing their beauty.

"My Beauty My Say" includes six separate videos featuring six women's personal stories about how they define their own beauty every single day. The six women include androgynous model Rain Dove, boxer Heather Hardy, plus-size fashion blogger Jessica Torres and more.

“They said I was too pretty to fight," Hardy says in the video above.

"They said I was too fat, only skinny girls could dress well," Torres says.

"They said I was too masculine," Dove says.

But these accomplished ladies pointed out that the negative comments didn't stop them from achieving their goals. Dove is a world-renowned model and Torres is a successful fashion blogger. And Hardy's pretty face definitely didn't stop her from becoming the UBF and WBC Super Bantamweight International Champion

According to the beauty brand, 7 out of 10 women believe that women receive more compliments and comments on their looks than their accomplishments. Dove also found that 74 percent of the women surveyed agreed that there are other unique characteristics of a woman -- not just her looks -- that make her beautiful.

As Dove says in regards to all those naysayers and critics:

Yes, yes, and more yes.

Head to YouTube to hear more from each woman in Dove's #MyBeautyMySay campaign.

Rachel Roy Reveals How She Gets That 'Good Hair'

$

The world may never know the true identity of "Becky with the good hair," but No. 1 suspect Rachel Roy has recently shared her hair secrets with beauty site Into The Gloss

Roy has been in the spotlight since Beyonce's earth-shattering "Lemonade" dropped in April. While the lyric was widely believed to be a reference to the historically complex relationship between black women and their hair, the witch hunt to find "Becky" was largely focused on the fashion designer after she posted an unfortunately timed, now infamous Instagram of said "good hair."

Regardless of her connection (or lack thereof) to "Lemonade," it's no secret Roy is blessed with undeniably enviable locks. Her secret? Keeping her natural color, limiting washes and indulging in the occasional oil treatment.

Roy told the site she only ever dyed her locks once and frequents Tracey Cunningham's salon. "I do get oil treatments, where they put oil on your scalp row by row and then massage you for 30 minutes. It’s amazing because my scalp gets dry," she said, adding that she only washes her hair "about once a week."

While a blowout can last Roy a whole week, she sometimes opts for a style that's a little edgier.

"If I get it styled, I like braids or a ponytail. I like it done really high and tight because it gives your face a little lift," she said.

These Are This Year's Hottest Fourth of July Fashion Trends

$

0

The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, meaning time is running out to lock in our festive fashion for the long weekend! Known as quite possibly the most fun, summer holiday of the year, there are various ways to show your patriotic side through today's trends in fashion, hair, accessories, makeup and nail art. In case you're in need of a helping hand on what is popular in the fashion world for this 4th, check out the polling results from polling app Wishbone! We polled over 5,000 users on their preferences on various 4th of July style details from the outfit, makeup, nails and more. Interested in what looks best? Go with the most popular vote. Interested in standing out from the crowd? Go against the grain and choose the less popular look --now that you know what everyone wants to wear! It's really a win-win. Let's dive into the results below!

The Fourth Of July Fit: Flirty and Fun or Laid Back Casual?

FullSizeRender-14

With an endless amount of ensembles to create with the red, white and blue colors, we've decided to just narrow down the options and decide between a fun and flirty style vs. a casual and laid back option. For our first look we've paired a trendy red and white stripped crop top and a starry high-low flowy skirt - perfect for the ultimate American girly girl. Our second option is a more chill American flag tank paired with studded high-rise shorts. Equally as fashionable yet giving off a sportier vibe. Which look has won over America?

  FullSizeRender-1

The lady liberties have spoken and they're loving the crop top and skirt look! Out of over 6,000 voters, the majority 54% went with the more dressed up option and we have to agree. That flowy star skirt is to die for! If you're looking to stand out among the trendy crop top and skirts, absolutely go with the classic tank and jean shorts. There's nothing more American than jean shorts on a summer night.

Hair Accessories: Bow vs. Flower Crown?

FullSizeRender-14

Would you rather dress your locks up with a very classic bow or a trendy flower crown? Both are equally as cute and very girly. They'll give you that extra special flare to help give you achieve those festive feels. What will we be seeing more of this year?

  FullSizeRender-1

Winning by a just a few hundred votes, the bow takes the cake in this hair accessory battle! A classic bow tying back luscious curls is a cute, traditional look that 55% of voters decided worked best over the flower crown. However, a flower crown is super trendy! A true fashionista would rock the flower crown and would be sure to turn heads at any Fourth of July BBQ!

Head Games: Headband vs. Hat?

FullSizeRender-14

Back to our head games, we've decided to put a more tomboy pair of looks up against each other: the bandana and a flat-brimmed hat. Both give off a very cool, easy going look that gives you a huge amount of swagger. You really can't wear both at once so which look is best?

  FullSizeRender-1

Shockingly, the bandana wins over the flat-brimmed hat in this competition with a slight advantage of 55% of the vote over the hat's 45%. Understandably, a cap worn normally or backwards may be a tough one to pull off and isn't everyone's go-to style. The bandana allows for more hair to be shown and gives a more girly look compared to the hat. Also, a bandana fits all head sizes, whereas a hat might not look right on everyone. If you can pull both looks off, you're doing somethin right!

Which Patriotic Nail Art?

FullSizeRender-14

Who said Fourth of July fashion stopped at your clothes?! One of the holiday's most common trends are festive nails! With so many color options and designs to choose from, how does one decide what to go with for the big weekend? The easy answer is to create a Wishbone poll, obviously! For this nail bitting matchup, we went with a classic American flag design for all nails vs. the trendier accent nail look with a base color of red for the remaining nails. What was the preferred polish in this poll?

  FullSizeRender-1

Not surprisingly, this Wishbone matchup resulted in yet another neck and neck result. By just a few hundred votes the unified American flag look wins over the accent nail look with the majority 58% of the vote. Does this mean the accent nail trend is finally over?! Not so fast. A strong 42% of the vote went with the standout, accent nail design, meaning it's fairly still popular in the nail world.

Festive Face Make-Up

  FullSizeRender-1

Another fun way to show off your 4th of July spirit is by playing with your makeup! Whether it be different eye shadow styles, colored lashes, or American flag lips, the combinations are endless. For this makeup matchup, we decided to put up a classic blue cat-eyed look with a simple bright red lip up against a three-colored eye shadow highlighting the red, white and blue. Which fabulous face wins this Wishbone poll?

  FullSizeRender-1

Turns out more is better! The blue cat-eyed look is just too simple for the fashionistas this year. The tri-colored eye shadow wins with 66% of the vote, proving statement looks are more aspirational than the classic everyday makeup. Whether or not the majority of folks can actually create this look is another story. But it's definitely cute and we can always try!

May the 4th (of July) Be With You

Now that you have the Wishbone polling results for this year's 4th of July fashion, the ball is in your court! For those still trying to land their 4th of July wardrobe before the big weekend, these Wishbone polling results should help speed up the process! Whether you're looking to turn heads with less popular yet equally trendy look or have your thumb on the pulse of what's super trendy this year, you've taken a glimpse at the fashion crystal ball, now go ahead and hit the mall before time runs out!

These Mermaid Tights Will Make You Feel Like Princess Ariel

If Princess Ariel gave you serious mermaid envy as a kid, you're in luck. Etsy artist Daniel Struzyna, who sells under the name tinkercast, creates gorgeous mermaid tights that make it look as if a wearer's legs are becoming a tail.

Struzyna's girlfriend inspired the intricate hosiery. "My lovely girlfriend, she loves mermaids, and I wanted to make her a special Christmas gift," Struzyna said. "So I thought about a fashionable solution to wear scales without gluing something to the skin."

The tights are handmade with flexible silicone scales that are soft to the touch. They're also available in several different colors, so you can choose your mermaid persona.

As of publication the tights are sold out, but never fear: Struzyna restocks his Etsy shop every working day.

"On average, I need about four hours for mermaid tights plus additional dry time," Struzyna said. "I can only accept three orders per day, because I work alone and it is very time consuming to make these mermaid tights."

One pair of tights will cost you at least $76.30, but can you really put a price on #mermaidgoals? Follow tinkercast on Facebook and Etsy to grab your own pair as soon as they're back in stock.

Become the magical mermaid you were born to be, and celebrate with a majestic hair flip/crashing wave the way only Ariel could.

The Best Weekender Bags To Take On Your Next Summer Trip

$

Nothing ruins a good vacation like lugging around too much stuff. Overpacking may seem like a smart move -- hey, who doesn't like options? -- but the fact of the matter is, there is such a thing as too many choices. And overweight baggage fees

While scaling back is hard, few things force you to do so like a bag sans wheels. If you're going on a short trip, especially a weekend trip, why not forgo a rolling bag and use a weekender instead? The limited space will make you edit your belongings and pre-plan your outfits, leaving more time for relaxation.

And if that doesn't sell you, then the difficulty of navigating wheels on cobblestone (or in the mountains or at a lake house) should.

Herewith, 10 weekender bags that will force you to pack light.

New Shade Of Blue Set To Change Our Homes For The Better

$
0
0

The color you see below is no ordinary hue.

It's one of the world's newest -- and perhaps most vivid -- shades of blue. It also happens to be the result of a brilliant mistake.

A team of chemists discovered YInMn blue during a chemistry experiment at Oregon State University in 2009. "It was serendipity, actually," said Mas Subramanian, the OSU chemist who led the experiment, in a press release. "A happy, accidental discovery."

Now scientists have perfected the pigment and it's going on sale as an option in commercial coatings, plastics and household paint this year.

It all started when Subramanian and his team were trying to find materials with magnetic properties that could be used in computer hard drives. The OSU chemists mixed manganese oxide, which is black in color, with a variety of chemicals. They then heated the mixture to nearly 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

After a failed test run, one of Subramanian's graduate students removed the mixture from the furnace, only to find an impossibly blue powder.

"I expected [the resulting substance] to be brown or black," Subramanian said in 2014. "But when I saw what he had, I knew this was something unusual."

The chemists named the vibrantly pigmented powder YInMn blue after the chemical elements of which it is made: yttrium, indium and manganese, according to artnet News. They published their findings on the colorful discovery last year in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.

The pigment's intense blue hue is a result of its unusual crystal structure, known to chemists as trigonal bipyramidal coordination. This structure allows the pigment's manganese ions to absorb all red and green wavelengths of light, while reflecting back only blue wavelengths, according to an OSU press release.

And the spectacular color isn't just a sight to behold.

The YInMn blue pigment also possesses unique characteristics which make it a coveted material for commercial companies and artists alike.

Art restorers, in particular, are interested in YInMn blue because the compounds that make up the vibrant pigment are so stable and durable, the color won't fade, artnet News reported. What's more, the pigment can be "tuned" to produce a wide range of blues, from sky blue to near black.

The pigment could also be used in roofing materials. Since YInMn blue reflects about 40 percent of infrared energy, it could keep buildings cooler. So it could reduce air conditioning costs.

hallmark of the pigment is that it contains zero toxic ingredients, Subramanian says. That makes it a safer alternative to existing blue pigments, such as Prussian blue, which have toxic properties.

"Ever since the early Egyptians developed some of the first blue pigments, the pigment industry has been struggling to address problems with safety, toxicity and durability," Subramanian said in a press release.

Since details of the pigment's discovery were published last year, Subramanian has worked with paint manufacturers, conservation companies and chemical firms which make pigments for plastics, inks, cosmetics and coatings for cars and aircrafts.

And while practical applications for the pigment could make our world a greener place, our favorite uses of YInMn blue are accomplished with a paintbrush.

Subramanian has given samples of the pigment to several artists, allowing them to experiment creatively with the vibrant hue.

"It is a rare 'Art Meet Science' moment," Subramanian said of the creative collaboration.

Below, check out the many shades of YInMn blue in artwork by OSU visual arts student Maddy Corbin and artist Rebecca Shapiro.

This Amazing Photo Series Celebrates Black Beauty In All Its Forms

For Teen Vogue, by Jessica C. Andrews.

A photo posted by The "C" Girl (@thecgirlinc) on

Melanin magic.

Colorism is a real and prevalent issue that impacts darker-skinned people across the globe. Conventional beauty standards favor light skin, perpetuating the myth that dark skin is undesirable. Many women with deeper complexions, no matter their age, have heard the phrase "pretty for a dark-skinned girl." Light-skinned women can feel isolated and attacked because of their skin tone, and many recount being called "white girl," "see-through," or worse. The effects of colorism go well beyond insults and back-handed compliments. When dark-skinned people use bleaching creams that are linked to cancer -- a dangerous phenomenon in certain countries -- they're literally shaving years off their lives to lighten their skin. "The Colored Girl" Project (TCG) aims to redefine beauty for black women of every skin tone. Photographed by Joey Rosado, the first campaign of the TCG series features 10 stunning women, hand-picked from social media, donning gowns, dresses, shorts, and even sheer tights in varying shades of blush and brown.

Through the project, TCG founder Tori Elizabeth hopes to convey the breadth of black beauty. "I started the 'The Colored Girl' Project because I wanted to show the different aspects of beauty as it pertains to Black women," she told Essence. "I wanted to highlight and celebrate our unique beauty: our eyes, our lips, our cheekbones. I wanted women from different social and cultural backgrounds. I wanted women with angular eyes, women with freckles and fair skin, and women with really rich, ebony skin. It's so important to be proud of who we are and showcase the beauty of blackness."

Victory Jones, who co-founded the project, knows the sting of colorism all too well. "[It] is a strange phenomenon," she shared with Essence. "It's weird to be made to feel like you're less than for something that you can't help -- it sucks. And, when it happens when you're little it's horrible because it scars you. You want to forget it, but it's indelibly engrained in your brain even if you suppress it. It informs choices that you make in the future. I think I'm still overcoming experiences with colorism. You get to a point when you realize that who you are matters more than how you look, but there is still a strength that I have specifically because I live in this skin."

The project is already picking up steam on social media. With each stunning image shared, the message is abundantly clear: black women are beautiful in every shade.

These Incredible Lip Tattoos Will Replace Your Lipstick

For Teen Vogue, by Andrea Navarro.

Ink for your pout.

French makeup artist, Violette, has made a name for herself by creating some of the coolest beauty looks we've ever seen. What really catches everyone's eye about Violette is her attention to detail. We were so captivated by her skills that we teamed up with her back in October 2013 to dream up glossy, gorgeous lip and eye artwork. Violette's out-of-this-world lip looks include ombré, gold foil, eyeshadow pouts, and drawings that include geometric shapes and faux mustaches.

Violette's latest lip art creation is bound to become the next big trend in beauty, and it's one of the coolest things we've seen. She posted a photo on Instagram of her newest lip art for MAC Cosmetics, and one of the looks featured temporary lip tattoos. When you think of lip tattoos, an image of real ink on the inside of lips probably pops into your head, but thanks to Violette that's bound to change.

Violette was able to feature skulls, diamonds, hearts, mini lips, cupcakes, and more all right on a model's pout. To be honest, she should consider selling some temporary lip tattoos herself because these would totally sell out in no time. Prepare ourselves to see a lot of these coming your way, because makeup artists and vloggers alike are bound to hop on this bandwagon. Now the only question that remains is, what happens when you kiss someone? TBD.

5 Grooming Moves You Need To Make Before Wearing A Tank Top

When done right, tank tops can be the ultimate summer flex. Just the right amount of casual for, say, a beer garden or the drive to and from the beach, they're the next best thing to going J. R. Smith-style perma-shirtless, covering barely enough skin to be called clothing while still allowing the wearer to catch those few precious extra rays of sun. But be warned: Before you go ahead and forsake all sleeves for the next two months, certain steps must be followed to guarantee you look your best--and we're not talking about simply upping your rep count at the gym. Here, the five vital grooming moves you need to complete before sporting a tank top this summer.

1. Rid Your Shoulders of Strays
In a perfect world, hair would be restricted to certain spots on our bodies. You know, the ones where it's socially acceptable for follicles to be there. Unfortunately, we live in an imperfect world, and for whatever reason single hairs have a tendency to pop up in places they're not wanted. Like your shoulders. Which is a problem, since they're about to see the light of day for the first time in a while. So before you don your favorite tank, take a tweezer and rid your upper arm of each and every goddamn strand.

2. Tame Your Chest Hair
While chest-hair spill-over depends on the exact tank top, of course, most styles have some sort of a scoop neck, meaning that you're going to show off a lot more chest than you're used to. Needless to say, it's important that you make sure your fur sweater is under control. Now, depending on your preferences, that could mean anything from giving your chest a trim to shaving the whole damn thing off. Not sure how close you want to cut it? Then do yourself a favor and get a clipper with blade attachments, like this one by Wahl. Start with the longest setting and work your way down until you hit a length that suits your fancy.

3. Beat Back the Bush in Your Pits
Chances are you don't pay much attention to your pit hair. Which is A-okay, since you usually hide that stuff under fabric. However, now that you're planning on wearing a tank, it's time to rethink your policy, because the last thing you want is for those locks to take the spotlight. So grab some sort of grooming device--we prefer a sharp pair of scissors--and trim the weeds just enough so that they don't poke out when your arms are at your sides. Don't be too heavy-handed, though; you want it to look natural.

4. Tend to the Back of Your Head
We've said it before and we'll say it again: An unkempt neckline can make an otherwise impeccably groomed man look all sorts of messy, and not in a handsome way. That goes double when you're wearing a tank top; there's something about the combination of exposed skin and encroaching neck hair that somehow makes it all worse. Which is why, even if you're between haircuts, you should stop by your barber to clean up the southernmost border of your 'do before even thinking about going sleeveless. Trust us on this one.

5. Annihilate the Neckbeard
Honestly, this is just good life advice, regardless of what you've got draped across your torso.

A Cheater's Guide To Fixing Uneven Tan Lines

Tan lines are all but inevitable in summer--and can even lend your look a carefree surfer vibe. But when a cutout maillot draws awkward stripes across your torso, or a Bond girl halter leaves your neck ghostly pale, it can get a little weird. Yet there are still those It girls who are perennially beach-bound and even-toned--despite their own fashion-forward swimsuits. What, we wondered, is their secret to preventing, or rehabbing, an uneven glow?

For model Cami Morrone, a born-and-bred Californian, it's about making a point to pull down her straps and adjust her bottoms every few minutes without fail. "Even if you feel like you aren't getting color, you most likely are," she says. A slick of coconut oil provides a more subtle sun boost than traditional bronzers, along with a hint of natural SPF--though broad-spectrum sunscreen is nonnegotiable. "Do not let clouds fool you," Morrone adds. "Those guys will burn!" Fellow model and beachside babe Paige Reifler takes an equally practical approach: "Keep your bathing suit simple to avoid looking like a zebra when you get out of the sun, and when no one is looking--or you're on a beach in Europe--take it off!"

If you're loath to give up your avant-garde swimwear, look no further than designer Lisa Marie Fernandez, whose ruffled bandeaus and cutout maillots are favorites among the fashion crowd. When sunning on the beaches of Patmos, Greece, Fernandez makes sure to pack a handful of different styles, which helps to keep tan lines in check. "Do not wear the same suit two days in a row," she says. At night, a creamy self-tanner can "fill in the parts of your body that did not see the sun," she says, and the next day, a bit of Bain de Soleil Gelee SPF 4 in those same sections can help further even tone. Finally, Fernandez adds, a gentle nightly exfoliation will give the skin a lasting glow: "This keeps your tan longer--just the opposite of what one would think!" Who knew?

Leslie Jones Said Designers Won't Dress Her, So Christian Siriano Did The Best Thing Ever

Who you gonna call? Well, you can tweet Christian Siriano -- at least when you need a designer dress for a movie premiere.

"Saturday Night Live" standout Leslie Jones is on a press tour for her starring role in the highly anticipated "Ghostbusters" reboot, but on Tuesday, she tweeted a familiar complaint from non-sample-size actresses: She's having trouble finding a designer to dress her for the film's premiere.

It's a reality many actresses, including Jones' "Ghostbusters" co-star Melissa McCarthy, have faced over the years. When a woman is above a certain size -- or is a certain color or age -- it's often only after she's hit an ultra-successful point in her career (and sometimes even after that) that designers are keen to collaborate.

Enter Siriano, a friend to curves and outspoken lover of dressing women of all shapes and sizes. Minutes after Jones aired her grievances, the "Project Runway" alum volunteered by tweeting a simple, two-hands-waving emoji greeting.

In return, he got the only suitable response Jones could possibly have made in this scenario:

And thus another Siriano/celebrity love affair was born. Having dressed power players from Jennifer Hudson to Christina Hendricks to Selma Blair to Kerry Washington (you get the point), the fierce designer has never shied away from dressing someone because of their size, age, or otherwise.

"I love Leslie and I'm a huge fan of her work. I can't wait to create something special for her to wear," Siriano told The Huffington Post. "Hopefully I will see her in my studio this week to make something new and exciting... I support all women no matter age or size!"

Jones later reveled in the magic of Twitter, musing at the "difference a tweet makes" and threatening to put the designers who declined to work with her "on blast."

She instead opted to retweet her follower's responses, but not before naming at least one name:

After many stories praised Siriano for stepping up (this one included), he did something that made us love him even more: He said on Facebook that he's not looking for congratulations, but industry change.

"It shouldn't be exceptional to work with brilliant people just because they're not sample size," he wrote, adding, "Congrats aren't in order, a change is."

Preach. We can already see Jones laughing in the faces of designers who wronged her, likely wearing a stunning Christian Siriano gown and looking gorgeous
