Burberry Somehow Confused Riz Ahmed With Dev Patel And Twitter Let 'Em Have It

World, repeat after us: “Asians do not all look the same.”

Luxury fashion company Burberry tweeted a photo on Sunday of “Rogue One” actor Riz Ahmed at the British Academy Film Awards. But in a particularly cringeworthy move, the brand identified him as Dev Patel, who’d just won Best Actor In A Supporting Role at the ceremony.

The company quickly deleted the photo and eventually tweeted correctly-identified pictures of both Ahmed and Patel. A spokesperson also released a statement, noting that Burberry said sorry to both actors individually and apologizes “unreservedly” for the embarrassing blunder. “This was a mistake that should not have happened and was corrected immediately,” the statement, obtained by Mashable, explained.

Still, Twitter called Burberry out for confusing two actors of South Asian descent who just don’t look anything alike.

While we wish mix-ups like this were unprecedented, there’s been an unfortunate number of these incidents. Just last month, a fake news story identified Doris Truong, a Washington Post editor, as the Asian woman who’d snapped a photo of Rex Tillerson’s notes during his Senate confirmation hearing.

“The woman at the hearing wasn’t me. I wasn’t there, and I don’t know who she is,” Truong wrote in the Post, regarding the story. “What we have in common is that we’re both women, and we’re both Asian.”

And in an isolated move days later, a photo of Noor Tagouri, a Muslim-American journalist, was attached to a story about Noor Salman, the wife of Orlando night club shooter Omar Mateen.

So come on, people. Can we actually learn from Burberry’s mistake this time?

Mexican-Born Designer Raul Solis Tells Trump 'F**k Your Wall'

Raul Solis didn’t hold back his feelings for Donald Trump’s proposed wall in his New York Fashion Week show Friday, sending the president a message via one of his looks.

The Mexican-born designer sent models wearing backless dresses down the runway, displaying underwear with “Fuck Your Wall” and “No Ban No Wall” emblazoned on it, instantly causing a stir.

A photo posted by JOSHUA GLASS (@joshualanceglass) on

Solis hasn’t responded to HufPost’s requests for comment, but he spoke to Dazed Digital about his collection and explained what the messages meant to him:

“My family is first generation Mexican and some had to migrate to the U.S., [so] this issue is something extremely personal to me,” he said. “I would not be able to present my collections if it was not for the opportunities the country has given us.”

The designer added, “I believe we all have a huge responsibility to speak up and take actions [with] whatever affects us directly. The fashion industry has always been a driving force in culture, changing the way we live and look.”

Responses to the statement were mixed, of course, as evidenced by tweets about the underwear.

“Oh yeah, that’ll convince those of us who voted for @POTUS. Good job!” one user wrote, while another wanted to “Send Solís back to racist Mexico.”

As of just a few days ago, President Trump is still trying to build his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. According to an internal report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the mishmash of walls and fences would take over three years and $21.6 billion to complete.

Mom Of Three Shares Uplifting Body Image Post To Empower Women

In March of 2015, mom of three Rachel Hollis shared an unfiltered photo of her “flabby” tummy exposed in a bikini on Facebook, along with a powerful message about postpartum body image. Now nearly two years after her post went viral, Hollis is sharing the same words to inspire even more mothers.

On Thursday, Hollis posted a new photo of herself in a bathing suit with a #TBT message.

Hollis, who runs the popular lifestyle blog The Chic Site, posted the original photo while on vacation in Mexico. So when she found herself traveling in Cabo San Lucas, she felt inspired to share another beach photo.

The caption was exactly the same:

I have stretch marks and I wear a bikini. I have a belly that’s permanently flabby from carrying three giant babies and I wear a bikini. My belly button is saggy... (which is something I didn’t even know was possible before!!) and I wear a bikini. I wear a bikini because I’m proud of this body and every mark on it. Those marks prove that I was blessed enough to carry my babies and that flabby tummy means I worked hard to lose what weight I could. I wear a bikini because the only man who’s opinion matters knows what I went through to look this way. That same man says he’s never seen anything sexier than my body, marks and all. They aren’t scars ladies, they’re stripes and you’ve earned them. Flaunt that body with pride!

The mom’s original post has received nearly 500,000 likes. Her second iteration is also resonating with parents and has reached over 25,000 likes and counting.

Hollis told The Huffington Post she hopes her post gives women a sense of encouragement about their own bodies. Citing the pressure moms in particular face, she explained, “There is the long list of things the media tells us we’re all supposed to aspire to: size zero, toned muscles, shiny hair, white teeth, Pinterest perfect houses and clothes ... and you need to pull all of this off while raising perfect children. It’s an impossibility.”

She continued, “More than that, its an extremely detrimental message because so many women believe that achieving those things is what will make them happy. When they don’t measure up in one (or all) of those ways, they begin to berate themselves and it becomes a never-ending cycle of negative self talk.”

Hollis wants women to feel empowered by her pride for her body, which doesn’t stem from what it looks like but rather what it has done for her. “My body has grown three beautiful babies and then found the strength to push them into the world,” she said.

“My body as carried me through marathons and held me up through seasons of trauma. My body has been every size and shape and through it all it has remained strong and powerful,” she added.

Ultimately, the mom feels fortunate that her body has “never failed” her ― a gift which so many other people don’t have.

“So I refuse to beat up my body for being something it’s not,” said Hollis. “And I refuse to hide it away because it doesn’t fit someone else’s ideal.”

How Sweaty Betty is Revolutionizing Sports Bras and Empowering Women

There's something uniquely motivating about shopping for sports bras. Maybe it's their vivid colors that instantly catch your attention, the infinitely soft padding that offers the right amount of support or the excitement that comes with walking into SoulCycle in something new. Yet no retailer incites this emotion quite like Sweaty Betty. The activewear brand creates quality garments for a variety of sizes, promotes self confidence, body positivity, allowing women to transform themselves stylishly and comfortably. As many women can attest, there's an exhilarating rush that comes from finding a sports bra that doesn't sacrifice style for support. Sweaty Betty does all of this...and then some. With the success of their 2016 "Stop the Drop" campaign and interactive online sports bra guide, Sweaty Betty is also educating women when it comes to their boobs.

It was once said that "a friend is like a good bra: hard to find, supportive, doesn't leave you hanging and is always close to your heart." This sentiment now applies to a woman's new best friend, the Sweaty Betty sports bra. With an easy-to-use online sports bra guide, the hassle of finding a great bra is a thing of the past. From size 30A to 38F, women have more options than ever before to find something that's beautiful, supportive and comfy. A user-friendly website questionnaire also allows anyone to figure out what bra works for them and for their workout routines. Even though it's easy to go back to the same favorite bra for different fitness activities, not all bras are created equal and this is what Sweaty Betty wants women to know.

As part of their ongoing mission to help women, Sweaty Betty successfully launched their "Stop the Drop" campaign in October 2016. The message was simple: help women prevent the effects intense fitness has on Cooper's Ligaments by buying the correct fitting bra. But what exactly are Cooper's Ligaments and why is it important for women to maintain them? Cooper's Ligaments are the connective tissue between the breast and the pectoral muscle that can stretch over time with intense movement. Medium and high intensity workouts (think cycling, HIIT and running) can lead to a loss of elasticity in Cooper's Ligaments, thereby making boobs droop. This doesn't mean instantly canceling your favorite weekend spin class, but rather opting for the proper bra now. Garments that are high in support can reduce bounce by as much as 78 percent when worn correctly. The campaign resonated so strongly it increased sales of high support bras by 82 percent.

Sweaty Betty's informative website is also dispelling common misconceptions about bra support and size as well as how they relate to exercise. Contrary to popular belief, 80 percent of a sports bra's support isderived from the under strap, not the shoulder straps. Similarly, while some might think cup size determines the necessary support of a sports bra, it also largely depends on the activity. Women with breasts over a size D benefit from higher support pieces, though a medium support bra would work for lower impact activities like yoga. Misconceptions like these are why many struggle to find that perfect, elusive bra.

"I was really shocked to find out that 80 percent of women wear the wrong sports bra!" expressed Tamara Hill Norton, Founder and Creative Director of Sweaty Betty. Hill Norton established the activewear giant 18 years ago in Notting Hill, and now advocates for garments to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. As an active woman herself, Hill Norton believes that this type of far-reaching awareness and education is how to create stronger body positivity amongst women overall. "We create beautiful, technical pieces with our incredible design team, so it's important as a female brand that we design products that are suitable for women's active lifestyles."

There are no misconceptions here, the chic pieces speak for themselves (and your boobs!).Sweaty Betty's stylish apparel means supportive is no longer synonymous with frumpy. From strappy pieces to fuller-coverage bras, there's a great selection of colors and prints for a variety of sizes in stores and online.

The Best and Worst (Okay, Mostly Worst) Edible Lingerie You Can Buy For Valentine's Day

$
0
0

By Natalie B. Compton for GQ.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, couples across the country are digging deep for hot new ways to do the sex with each other. Some of those ideas will be great; and many, many more of them will be bad. Like buying her edible underwear-levels of bad. In the interest of Service Journalism, we trawled Amazon dot com for some of the best-selling edible underwear options out there. And then we ate them.

Here they are ranked, from worst to best.

6. Edible Thong for Women, Chocolate and Strawberry

First impression: Huge departure from the picture on the box. What you see on the packaging makes the thong look like a sexy tie-string bikini that would be perfect for a beach vacation in Brazil. In reality, it looks like a crinkly trash bag with red drawstrings.

On the body: Not flattering at all. The backside is too thick; it looks like you’re censoring your own butt crack. When tying it on, I ripped one of the drawstrings, ruining any opportunity to make a sexy bow.

On the tongue: The flimsy thong has a faint chocolate smell. At first lick, you get a sharp tart flavor, which is immediately overshadowed by a pasty stickiness that's kind of like wet rice paper. The more you lick it, the more it breaks apart and adheres to your skin like Papier Mâché.

Verdict: HARD PASS.

5. Original Female Edible Underwear Bra & Pant Set in Cherry

First impression: First of all, this underwear came in a manila envelope outside of its unassembled box. Secondly, it came with an extra baggie with “Free Bra” hand-written on it.

On the body: Quite possibly the least flattering boob accessory on earth. Unlike a normal bra, this blue edible one has no chance of supporting the weight of human breasts. It was so delicate, in fact, that the bra broke as I adjusted the straps. (Thank god they threw in an extra one?) The reddish panties weren’t horrible. However, THEY STAIN YOUR BODY. My hands looked bloody, my teeth looked wine-stained, and my clean white bedsheets now have a faint sheen of pink.

RELATED: 10 Steps to a Very Ryan Gosling Valentine's Day

On the tongue: The blue bra had an odd chemical smell, almost like wet paint. The red garments smelled like cherry medicine and iodine. The taste wasn’t anything to write home about. After a few licks you’ll break through the flimsy translucent material, and the underwear gets too sticky to take a trip to the bonezone.

Verdict: You're probably better off lighting your money on fire instead.

4. Edible Crotchless Gummy Panty - Watermelon

First impression: What. The. Fuck. Am. I. Looking. At? These crotchless gummy panties do not come assembled, nor with instructions. I hope you have a master's degree in engineering so you can figure this thing out.

On the body: I lack the basic DIY chops to fashion these panties together in an attractive way, as the underwear is coated with roughly 8 trillion sugar granules. No more than 90 seconds after walking around my apartment in my new outfit did things go terribly wrong. The glue holding together the lace, strings, and candy malfunctioned. And my crotchless panties turned into a papaya-colored loin cloth dripping sugar all over the floor.

On the tongue: As soon as I opened the packaging, I was hit with a sickly sweet, chemical-esque watermelon smell. No surprise that the gummy panties didn’t taste great, although the flavor was better than the smell would suggest.

Verdict: Skip. Unless you don’t mind getting sugar all over your sheets.

3. Female Edible Undies (Passion Fruit) Party Accessory

First impression: It looks like a female anatomy diagram in hot pink.

On the tongue: In order to achieve a simulacrum of “passion fruit flavor,” scientists used no fewer than 4,000 ingredients, at least according to the side of the box. Is there anything hotter than chewing on 0.0003 percent Butylated Hydroxyanisole? No. No there is not.

Verdict: Meh.

2. Female Chocolate Thong Underwear By Tom and Sally's

First impression: There is so much string here! Why is there so much string! The more I tried to untangle the thong, the more tangled it became. One big positive: buried deep inside the nest of string was a huge milk chocolate heart.

RELATED: What to Wear on Valentine’s Day for Every Type of Date

On the body: After struggling with miles of red elastic string, I eventually wrangled the “thong” into a passable position on my body. I don’t know what I did wrong, but there was a lot of extra string left dangling around, so I tucked it in with the other strings and called it a day.

On the tongue: The chocolate, which was sitting in a plastic bag and was therefore partially melted, tasted like mass-produced drugstore chocolate. This did not stop me from eating most of it alone in my apartment.

Verdict: In no way is it underwear, but boy, is it fun!

1. Candy G-String (Rainbow)

First impression: It’s sturdy, thoughtfully put together, and actually looks like underwear. No struggling with assembly in the bathroom while your partner waits for you with their pants off.

On the body: Looks like underwear and fits like underwear. Unfortunately, it’s a little baggy in the front and not super flattering, but it’s wayyyyy fucking better than the other options. This bad boy is durable enough to really move around in without sending those hard candies flying everywhere.

RELATED: Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Every Couple Out There

On the tongue: Nostalgia alert: This edible G-string tastes just like those candy necklaces you ate as a kid. You can bite off the tasty pieces easily, so there’s little danger of chomping through the string holding the whole show together.

Verdict: We have our winner! Sure, it may look a little like a candy-covered cup, but this g-string is by far the best edible underwear option Amazon has to offer.

The only better option? Not buying edible underwear at all! Buy your Valentine literally anything else.

We didn’t think it was possible for Chrissy Teigen to be better at social media than she already is. But on Sunday night, she one-upped herself.

Following Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, the Sports Illustrated model and cookbook author documented her drunken antics on Snapchat, and as you might expect, the resulting videos were pure gold

In one clip, Teigen assures her followers she’s made it home and is about to eat some instant ramen.

In another clip, Teigen’s husband, John Legend, steps in to help his wife remove her jewelry. (Best husband award.)

“I’m on the floor and John’s in charge of taking my jewelry off for Monica. Take it off, John,” she said.

And in what might be the cutest moment, Teigen asks Legend, “Are you mad at me?” To which he responds, “Why would I be mad at you? You’re perfect.”

This morning, Teigen shared this video, which pretty much proves she had the best night ever:

Social media would be a boring place without you, Chrissy.

Selena Gomez kept relatively quiet when it came to the 2016 presidential election, but she made her political stance pretty clear when she rocked a jean jacket that read “God Bless Nasty Women” on the back.

Gomez, who didn’t show up to the Grammy ceremony itself, wore the feminist outfit to a Grammy after-party she attended with her beau The Weeknd

When Rihanna hosts an after-party, an edgy fashion choice like this is perfectly at home. Way to kick the patriarchy in the butt, Selena!

French Vogue Makes History With First Transgender Cover Model

For the first time in the magazine’s 97-year history, Vogue Paris put a transgender model on its cover ― Brazil’s Valentina Sampaio.

Sampio appears on the magazine’s March issue, which is the second biggest cover of the year for any fashion magazine. The issue hits newsstands on Feb. 23. The cover’s celebratory headline reads, “Transgender beauty: How they’re shaking up the world.”

“This month we are proud to celebrate transgender beauty and how models like Valentina Sampaio, who is posing for her first ever Vogue cover, are changing the face of fashion and deconstructing prejudice,” Vogue Paris wrote in an Instagram post announcing the cover Monday.

American Vogue also said its March cover was a celebration of diversity, but the publication quickly came under fire for seemingly Photoshopping plus-size model Ashley Graham.

Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt wrote on the magazine’s website that she wanted to feature Sampaio solo on the cover because she is “the absolute equal of Gisele, Daria, Edie or Anna,” referring to the modeling industry’s top stars.

“In a post-gendered world which more and more designers are highlighting on their runways, Trans people, the ultimate symbols of a rejection of conformity, are icons that Vogue supports and chooses to celebrate,” Alt added.

Sampaio previously appeared on Elle Brazil’s November 2016 cover. Last year, the model starred in a L’Oreal ad celebrating femininity on International Women’s Day

“This is my first Women’s Day, officially,” Sampaio said as she got ready to take her picture for her new ID.

Sampaio will celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, which is on March 8, as a Vogue cover star.

Emily Ratajkowski: Slut-Shaming Melania Trump Isn't OK, Regardless Of Your Politics

Emily Ratajkowski has no time for slut-shaming.

The actress and model tweeted on Monday night that a New York Times reporter called Melania Trump “a hooker,” and she was having none of it.

“Whatever your politics, it’s crucial to call it out for what it is: slut-shaming,” Ratajkowski said.

Ratajkowski, who was an outspoken Bernie Sanders supporter during the Democratic primaries, has written extensively about double standards and slut-shaming. In February 2016, she wrote an essay in Lenny Letter about being sexualized from a young age in a society that can’t seem to allow women to be sexual on their own terms without judgment.

She also spoke out in December of 2016 about photographer Jonathan Leder using nude photographs of her for his book without her permission.  “These photos being used w/out my permission is an example of exactly the opposite of what I stand for,” she said. “Women choosing when and how they want to share their sexuality and bodies.”

Melania Trump applauded Ratajkowski for her comments, and gave her a shout out on Twitter.

This is by no means the first time that Trump has been on the receiving end of vicious slut-shaming in the media. In July, the New York Post published nude photos of her from when she was just 25 years old. The Huffington Post’s Zeba Blay wrote about the irrelevance of Trump’s past as a model, and the Post’s accompanying photos. “They tell nothing about Melania Trump’s character or her ethics,” Blay wrote. “And they certainly tell us nothing of Donald Trump’s.”

The New York Times has reportedly reprimanded the reporter, who was sitting next to Ratajkowski at a New York Fashion Week event on Sunday night.

“The comment was not intended to be public,” the Times said in a statement to Politico. “But it was nonetheless completely inappropriate and should not have occurred. Editors have talked to the reporter in question about the lapse.”

Remember 'Hot Convict' Jeremy Meeks? He's On The Runway At New York Fashion Week

It’s been two and a half years since “hot convict” Jeremy Meeks first looked straight into our souls with those piercing blue eyes, and one year since he was released from a California prison to begin pursuing his destiny: modeling.

Now, he’s ― where else? ― at New York Fashion Week. Meeks walked the runway at the Phillip Plein show Monday, looking as handsome as he did in his famous mugshot

The 33-year-old, who served time for a felony weapons conviction, previously told ABC News he never “thought that everyone in the world would recognize me for my looks.”

He signed with a management agency in 2016, and then shared many a shirtless photo on Instagram. Now, though, he’s rubbing elbows with former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld and opening one of the most hotly anticipated runway shows of the week. This is the real deal, people.

Both attendees and far-off onlookers were quick to share the news on social media.

We have a feeling this is far from the last we’ll see of Meeks, and we’re not complaining.

You Need To See Prabal Gurung's Gorgeous Collection For Lane Bryant

Accessible, inclusive, and chic-as-hell fashion is right this way, folks.

Prabal Gurung took the fashion industry’s tired excuses about the “difficulties” of selling high fashion in plus sizes and turned them upside down Tuesday, debuting images of his new 12-piece collection for Lane Bryant.

That the limited edition collection, which hits stores February 27, is fronted by supermodel Ashley Graham

The collection reveal comes just days after Gurung sent curvy models and politically charged T-shirts down the runway at New York Fashion Week. Gurung, who has previously voiced his desire for a more diverse and inclusive fashion industry, said in a statement that providing options to more women has always been part of his plan.

“Our goal has always been to create a luxury brand with soul, and inclusion is inherent to this ideal,” he said.

He told Vogue it was seeing a billboard for Lane Bryant’s “I’m No Angel” campaign, which was created to challenge beauty standards perpetuated in part by Victoria’s Secret and its “Angels,” that spurred him to action. The same night a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was happening, Gurung spotted the ad from a taxi.

“At that moment, I knew it made sense to have the conversation with Lane Bryant,” he said. “Fashion gave me a platform to talk about these things — how was I going to use it?”

The collection is rich with pattern and beautiful detailing, from a floral T-shirt to a sexy black jumpsuit with sheer sleeves. In the cheeky campaign video, though, Graham is seen wearing nothing at all, whispering “Dress me” to Gurung.

The Obamas Just Tweeted Each Other The Sweetest Valentine's Day Messages

Barack and Michelle Obama’s love is the sort of thing most of us dream about.

While the couple currently enjoys a post-presidency vacation, the rest of the nation (and perhaps, the world) eagerly awaits any sign of communication from the two of them.

Whether it’s photos of the former president rocking a backwards hat and flip flops or a video of him kitesurfing, we can’t seem to get enough. So when the former president sent Michelle a swoon-worthy tweet on Valentine’s Day, it instantly went crazy.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, @michelleobama!” He wrote. “Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new.”

Michelle answered shortly after with a sweet tweet of her own, reflecting on their island time.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life and favorite island mate, @BarackObama,” she wrote, with an accompanying photo of the pair’s feet in the sand.

Followers loved the tweets and spoke about how much they missed the gorgeous couple:

The messages also sparked a little nervousness that the couple was having a little too much fun on vacation (and not coming back any time soon):

Until Barack and Michelle decide it’s time to come home and save the world, we’ll be staring at these photos of their best moments together:

Diesel Trolls Trump's Border Wall With New Campaign

Not everyone in the fashion industry has voiced their opinions on President Trump’s policies. Some brands though, like Diesel, are quite literally going “balls to the walls” over them.

The denim-heavy brand’s new campaign, “Make Love Not Walls,” is a blatant rebuke of Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico. A statement from Diesel says the ad, which was photographed and directed by David LaChapelle, comes during “a crucial historical moment, where hate, walls and fear seem to prevail.”

Doesn’t get much clearer than that.

After climbing through a heart-shaped hole, the stars of the campaign ― including ballet dancer Sergei Polunin, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season three winner Raja, and transgender models Laith de la Cruz and Octavia Hamlett ― are seen dancing, making out and even carrying around an inflatable, rainbow-colored army tank.

In a release, artistic director Nicola Formichetti explained the inspiration for the colorful, pointed ad. “At Diesel, we have a strong position against hate and more than ever we want the world to know that,” she said. “Love and togetherness is crucial in creating a society we all want to live in, and the future we all deserve.”

After nixing its bridal collection a few months ago, the retailer launched a new lineup of flirty party ensembles that is totally knocking our socks off.

The collection is based on 21 silhouettes that can be mixed and matched to create different outfits, J.Crew womenswear designer Somsack Sikhounmuong said in a statement.

She calls them “emotional pieces that any woman or girl would wear to any occasion, whether it was to a party, a date, or just a fun get together with friends.”

The collection is available online now and will be in stores in mid-March. Party on!

Dad Surprises Daughter With 'Beauty And The Beast' Photo Shoot

A creative dad gave his daughter a Valentine’s Day surprise she’ll never forget.

Photographer and father of two Josh Rossi transformed his 3-year-old daughter Nellee into Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” for a fun themed photo shoot.

“Anything Disney is so magical and amazing,” Rossi told The Huffington Post. “I loved the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ movie when I was a kid because of the love they both shared.”

The dad has a tradition of organizing photo shoots for Nellee for holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. In the past, she has dressed up as Wonder Woman and Little Red Riding Hood.

Nellee has been excitedly awaiting the new live action version of the movie, so Rossi decided Belle would be the perfect character for a shoot around Valentine’s Day.

The whole process took about a month. While on vacation in Europe, Rossi took photos to serve as the backgrounds, including a shot of Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, which was reportedly the inspiration for the famous castle in Disneyland. Costume designer Ella Dynae made custom dresses for Nellee.

Rossi documented the process for a behind-the-scenes video he released on Monday.

On Valentine’s Day, the dad presented Nellee with the finished product and gave her a special print of one of their photos.

“She loved the print I gave her so much!” said Rossi. “She kept jumping up and down and kept smiling. She also couldn’t stop looking at the full series of images. Right after I gave her the print this morning, she started singing the songs from the movie.”

Rossi said he loves having the opportunity to create something with his daughter based around a story they both love.

“As parents, usually we are just playing games our kids like,” he said. “This time we play a game we both truly love ― which is taking magical pictures together.”

He added, “My wife loves it too. She booked all of the locations in Europe for me and got the costumes and whatever else we needed. It’s sort of a family event.”

The dad hopes other fathers will appreciate the project as well. Said Rossi, “I honestly hope that dads will get inspired to spend more time with their daughters and find something they can do together to connect.”

This Asian-American Girl Adorably Removes Barbies’ Shoes Before They Enter Their House

One little girl just had every Asian on the interwebs saying “SAME.”

Korra Lam, a 4-year-old Vietnamese-American from California, takes her Barbies’ shoes off before they’re allowed to enter her Barbie Dreamhouse. Because it’s only right she keep with Asian household tradition.

Her half-sister Ivy Ho recently shared photos on Twitter of the tiny shoes gathered just outside the dollhouse, along with Korra’s barefoot dolls. And of course, they went viral with thousands of retweets because we Asians on Twitter Had. No. Chill.

Like none.

Ho told The Huffington Post that Korra insists on making her dolls keep with tradition because it’s simply what their family does. Plus, the very strict Korra believes the dolls “have to be clean.”

If that’s not adorable enough for you, the 4-year-old also ensures the dolls have shoes on their feet before they “leave” the house.

Though Ho didn’t expect her post to get so much traction, she’s ecstatic to see it’s resonated with so many Asians ― and others who just really love a clean floor.
