Ashley Graham Reveals She Was Sexually Harassed At Work At 17

Ashley Graham recently revealed that she was sexually harassed on a modeling set when she was just 17 years old.

The model recently sat down with Glamour for the magazine’s July issue to discuss her rise to fame as a plus-size supermodel and her passion for body-positive activism. During the interview, the 29-year-old opened up about a disturbing experience when she was a young model on set.

“There was an incident on set of a campaign job when I was 17 years old ― I haven’t told this story ― and there was a photo assistant who was into me,” Graham told the magazine. “He was like, ‘Hey, come here,’ and he led me into a closet. And I was like, ‘What?’ I thought he was going to show me something. And he pulled me in, and he pulled his penis out. And he was like, ‘Grab it.’ And I was like, ‘No! That’s disgusting.’ I freaked out. And thank God I was closer to the door, and I just bolted out.”

Graham said she never told anyone about the incident because she had hoped the man had changed. Now, however, she uses the experience as a reminder to herself to always be in control of her work and her workspace.

“I’ve seen him at jobs since. I even knew a girl he dated,” she said. “I didn’t tell her because there was a voice in me that said, ‘Maybe he’s changed.’ It was my young mentality. But I told myself, ever since that incident, that I wasn’t going to allow someone at work to manipulate what I wanted to do on set. So any image that you see out there is one that I wanted to take.”

Head over to Glamour to read Graham’s full July cover story.

When it comes to wild festival style, Coachella has set a glittery standard that’s hard to live up to.

But Governors Ball, a newer three-day jaunt held annually on Randall’s Island in New York City, has emerged as a major player in the game of wild, wacky and sometimes questionable festival style.

Guests arrived June 2-4 wearing all the makings of what we have learned are the hallmarks of festival dressing. There were big belts, sheer tops, cropped everything and even one out-of-this-world space suit.

Check out the most festival-ly festival looks from Gov Ball 2017 below.

These 'Hipster Babies' Are So Cute It Hurts

Cute baby alert!

Stylist Kari Nyack teamed up with Tommee Tippee U.K. for a “hipster baby photo shoot.” For the shoot, four adorable babies named Lyla, Ezra, Theodore, and Jahmali sported some artsy looks and posed around London’s hip Shoreditch neighborhood.

The initiative is part of the baby product company’s #WeanTogether campaign, which shares easy weaning recipes with “foodie” titles like “Deconstructed Autumn Fruit Crumble” (aka pear and blueberries) and “Nightvision Coulis” (aka carrots).

According to a press release, “The campaign aims to show parents that you don’t have to be a hip master chef in order to create healthy meals for your baby, and empower them to make their own weaning recipes from scratch.”

The company also invites parents to share their favorite weaning foods on social media and the campaign website. While the “hipster babies” haven’t shared their reviews of the recipes, we have to imagine they’re fans.

Keep scrolling for more hipster baby cuteness.

Fanny Packs Are Back, And There's Nothing You Can Do About It

According to Hollywood stars, the hottest accessory on the market is a fanny pack. Yes, really.

Practical and stylish, the coolness factor of the bag has risen over the past few years. Kendall Jenner and rapper A$AP Rocky love them, Leonardo DiCaprio sported one on a trip to Thailand, Sofia Richie wears hers hiking and Kourtney Kardashian has a few Chanel versions herself.

Wearing a fanny pack is still quite the statement (outside of wearing it at a music festival), but it’s a statement worth making. Luckily, there are lots of different styles within everyone’s price point to give this bag a go.

Take a look at our favorite choices below (if you’re looking for the more stylish versions, notice they’re often called “belt bags” instead of fanny packs):

It seems that men wearing rompers is the fashion surprise of the season, but how does the public feel about it? YouTuber QPark took his confidence for a stroll through New York City to find out.

Unsurprisingly, New Yorkers were happy to share their feelings. And be warned, people do not watch their language when reacting to a man in a romper.

Responses ranged from “You’re wearing a motherf***ing romper!” and “That’s really cool!” to something a little less supportive:

Because wearing a male romper isn’t statement enough, one company is now making them with patterns.

Ninety-five different patterns, to be exact.

For instance, if you’re a bold guy who’s totally comfortable with his body and also likes pizza, or pineapples, or even cats who like to ride on burritos, Getonfleek has a romper for you.

Or, say, you’re a fashion-forward dude who has always dreamt of resembling the opening credits of “Saved By The Bell,” Getonfleek has a few jazzy numbers for you as well:

Do you think you’re a tall glass of water that needs to be sipped from a paper cup from the ’90s? Guess what! There’s a romper for you too!

Getonfleek really has every kind of man covered — like laid back guys:

Or bros who like to party:

No subject is too niche, the company even has a romper for dudes who are like, really into Kim Jong Un:

Ivanka Trump Comes Down To Earth In A $35 Dress From Target

For just one day, Ivanka Trump has ditched her designer duds for a more down-to-earth approach.

The 35-year-old special advisor to the President Trump stepped out in a $35 dress from Target on Monday (and it’s actually on sale right now for $17.50). The simple black dress with a ruffled bottom and two lilies is from Victoria Beckham’s line for Target. As of now, the dress is still available on the retailer’s website.

When first stepping out for the day, Trump paired the dress with a black purse, lace-up black heels and minimal jewelry. To see those exclusive pictures, head over to the Daily Mail.

Ivanka’s look is a far cry from the typical designer labels the Trumps tend to favor.

During Melania Trump’s first official trip as first lady, she drew ire by wearing a $51,500 Dolce & Gabbana jacket in Italy. The median American family income in 2015 was $55,775.

We can’t wait to see if Ivanka pulls more Target out of her closet.

Halle Berry Washes Down Pregnancy Rumors With Steak And Fries

Pretty much everything in Hollywood is unforgiving, be it the constant scrutiny over a starlet’s appearance or a sequin dress on a red carpet.

This is a lesson Halle Berry learned again when she stepped out at the Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles Sunday. The Oscar winner graced the red carpet in a form-fitting dress and posed for pictures while holding what some assumed was a baby bump.

Except Berry isn’t pregnant, her representative confirmed with HuffPost, and the rumors are completely untrue.

The “X-Men” actress seemingly responded to the speculation on Monday with an Instagram post poking fun at the pregnancy rumors. Apparently, Berry isn’t with child, but has just been — *gasp* — eating full meals.

“Can a girl have some steak and fries??” she captioned a glam close up with eye roll and wink emojis.

A post shared by Halle Berry (@halleberry) on

The 50-year-old actress is already a mom to two children, Maceo and Nahla, from past relationships with ex-husband Olivier Martinez and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. But just because Berry isn’t expecting another child doesn’t mean her focus on her children has changed.

“Right now, being mom is my most important job and I now know that everything I do, everything I say and everything I offer them is really important,” she revealed in February. “I say lots of things, but I think what’s more important is that my children watch what I do. I’m more mindful of how I live my life and what they see me do.”

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Getting Botox In Your Groin

$
0

Most of us are familiar with botulinum toxin injections (commonly known by their brand names as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) to erase facial wrinkles.

But Botox can also help people who suffer from excessive sweating, which is known as hyperhidrosis. In order to put a halt to sweating, it’s become increasingly more common to receive Botox injections in the armpits. And now, people are getting injections in their groin, as well.

HuffPost recently spoke with Dr. John H.Tu, M.D. from the University of Rochester Department of Dermatology and dermatologist for Dermatology Associates of Rochester. He filled us in on all the details.

To stop sweating, Botox is injected into a patient’s groin crease

“You have this sort of trough that runs from your hip to where your genitals are,” Dr. Tu said. “Basically it’s a crevice that tends to get trapped by the leg skin and the belly skin. It’s sort of the two diagonal sides of panties ― the diagonal panty line. This is where people tend to get a lot of moisture.”

According to Allergan, the makers of Botox, the toxin injections work by blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate sweat glands.

Sweating in this region can create a problem, especially if you’re overweight.

“People who are overweight would have a little bit of an overhang of the lower abdomen,” Dr Tu said. “For people who are thin, it’s less of an issue because they would have less of lower belly overhang that’s gonna cause the trapping of moisture. That’s not to say that it cannot occur, to some extent.”

Groin injections are generally administered every four to six months.

“The typical injections that we do for hyperhidrosis of the armpits is between four to six months because that’s how long the product lasts,” Dr. Tu said, adding that if timed correctly, the injections could be seasonal. “I would assume that given the area is about the same in terms of area coverage in terms of the armpits and the groin area more or less they’re about the same area. About six months.”

No numbing process is used for this kind of procedure.

“The discomfort is minimal,” Dr. Tu explained. “It’s actually more painful in the face than it is in the armpits. The nerve density in the armpits and in the groin is actually less than on the face.”

Several injections are required per treatment, but each injection is very small.

“The injections are not very big, they’re multiple little injections,” Dr. Tu said. “The purpose of doing the little injections is to spread the effect around the broad area. If you only injected one area you’re relying on the medication to diffuse out far enough to do the thing so you’re not going to get the spread of the effects. So you really want the entire area, the length of the injection area to get that effect so you would do multiple injections separated by between one to two centimeters apart, somewhere in that range.”

There apparently aren’t a lot of risks associated with getting Botox injections in your groin.

“In the groin area, [Botox] is injected very, very superficially ― it’s not deep enough to have any significant effect as there’s no actual muscle in this particular area,” Dr. Tu said, adding that there shouldn’t be any risk, as long as the person administering the injections knows what they’re doing. “And whatever muscles there are are such huge muscles, the tiny amount of Botox injected into this area isn’t going to make any amount of difference.”

Head here to read more about the side effects of Botox.

Less than 1 percent of people getting Botox get this procedure, according to Tu.

Part of the reason people might not be getting these groin injections is because insurance doesn’t always cover Botox coverage for hyperhidrosis, Dr. Tu explained. He conservatively estimated that for people who pay for this procedure out of pocket might be out around an average of $1,500 per treatment.

Groin injections can potentially reduce the chance you’ll get yeast or fungal infections.

“Botox is not a preventative measure. What it does is by reducing sweating, you reduce the wetness of this area,” Dr. Tu said. “And by reducing the wetness of the area, you can potentially ― I will not say absolutely ― potentially reduce the propensity to get yeast and fungal infections in the groin area. It will not by itself prevent fungal infections. It makes it less likely, because it keeps the area drier.”

Khloe Kardashian Accused Of Copying Designer's Clothes

$

This isn’t a good look for Khloe Kardashian’s denim brand, Good American.

Destiny Bleu, a fashion designer whose DBleudazzled line has be worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Ashley Graham and Lady Gaga, accused Kardashian on Friday of copying her designs, which include sheer jumpsuits and stockings adorned with crystals.

On Thursday, Kardashian tweeted a promotional video for Good American. One model wears a sparkly top resembling Bleu’s “Toxic” jumpsuit, which has a sheer, flesh-tone top with two bursts of sparkle on the chest.

Bleu then shared Kardashian’s tweet with the allegation that Kardashian purchased Bleu’s designs as well as ordered custom pieces, and then copied them for Good American.

“When someone buys 1 of everything on your site, has you make them custom [DBleudazzled] work, never posts it or wears it, then copies it,” Bleu posted.

The Good American top in question is not currently available for purchase on the brand’s website, and the company has not yet responded to a request to confirm ― as Bleu alleged ― that the clothes in the video are set to be sold.

A spokeswoman from Good American denied Bleu’s allegations in an email to HuffPost.

“Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloe Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property and we are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation,” she said.

But the brand didn’t stop there. In what appears to be a defense of its designs, someone at Good American proceeded to post “inspo” images to its Instagram account of Cher, Diana Ross and Britney Spears wearing sheer and sparkly looks.

“Important to know your fashion history #nofrauds,” read the caption on an image of Cher, using a hashtag Bleu had posted on Twitter.

A post shared by GOOD AMERICAN (@goodamerican) on

Bleu didn’t respond to an inquiry by time of publication, but stated on Twitter that she’s exploring legal action. She said she has previously created custom DBleudazzled pieces not only for Kardashian, but for her sisters as well. She posted photos of both brand’s products and what appears to be a custom bra and panty set adorned with the name Tristan Thompson ― Kardashian’s boyfriend.

She posted the photo with the hashtag “#receipts,” seemingly suggesting the pieces are among custom items she created for Kardashian.

Bleu also tweeted that an e-mail she sent to Kardashian’s assistant has gone unanswered. We have a feeling there’s more social media sparring to come from both parties.

Rihanna Posts Perfect Response To All That Body-Shaming Nonsense

Rihanna isn’t here for your body-shaming.

On Monday, the “Work” singer posted a meme on Instagram that seemed to be a response to a Barstool Sports article published last week that asked, “Is Rihanna Going To Make Being Fat the Hot New Trend?”

Clearly, RiRi was having none of it. The meme she shared features two images of rapper Gucci Mane at different weights.

“If you can’t handle me at my 2007 Gucci Mane, you don’t deserve me at my 2016 Gucci Mane,” it reads. The singer accompanied the meme with a single-tear emoji.

A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on

Nailed it. In fact, we’d go so far as to say that anyone who criticizes Rihanna’s body at any point doesn’t deserve her at all.

The offending article has since been removed from Barstool’s website for, essentially, not being funny enough. (Note: Body-shaming is never funny. How many times do we need to say this?) The article’s author also took it upon himself to complain about others not liking his story, saying he was being “cyberbullied.”

“If you’re gonna blog about Rihanna gaining weight you better be funny as f**k and you better make it bullet proof,” Barstool Sports founder David Portnoy said in a statement. He noted that if he or one one of his other bloggers had written the story, he would “defend it to the death.”

How about just never writing a story about Rihanna’s ― or anyone else’s ― body at all?

The red carpet is to an awards show as the cocktail hour is to a wedding: It’s the indisputable best part.

So when the annual CFDA Awards honor the designers who make those red carpets possible, needless to say, the arrivals area is nothing short of a fashion spectacle.

This year, the likes of Kenneth Cole, Pat McGrath and Calvin Klein’s Raf Simons were honored inside the event, but our accolades ― for best, worst and wildest looks ― were awarded outside. Janelle Monae maintained her position as resident risk-taker in asymmetrical Christian Siriano, Gabrielle Union knocked it out of the park in Rodarte and Gloria Steinem wore sparkly black Michael Kors bell bottoms.

Need we say more? Check out all the most memorable looks from the 2017 CFDA Awards below.

While we were busy trying to pull off the same pair of pants for the third day in a row, Selena Gomez was busy perfecting the art of the six-outfit change.

Gomez’ quick-change wardrobe whirlwind happened as she made the rounds to various talk shows in New York City Monday. If we didn’t know any better, we’d guess she was just using press interviews to show off her entire wide-ranging sense of style to the world ― all in one day.

She swapped seamlessly from look to look and from feminine to edgy, each outfit equally swoon-worthy. Her five day-time ensembles clearly weren’t enough ― she changed into a sixth for a date with boyfriend The Weeknd later that evening.

No wonder she wrapped up her work appearances in a pajama-inspired Miu Miu jumpsuit. We’re tired just looking at her.

Behold, the magically changing Gomez in all her glory.

Seth Meyers Subtly Roasts Ivanka And Melania Trump At CFDA Awards

Ivanka and Melania Trump were joke fodder for Seth Meyers at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night.

The “Late Night” comedian hosted “fashion’s Oscars” at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. In between jokes about Balenciaga’s “Ikea” bag and the RompHim, he took aim at FLOTUS and the first daughter, USA Today reported.

“It’s harder than ever to separate fashion from politics,” he said. “First lady Melania Trump made headlines recently after she decided not to wear a head cover while visiting Saudi Arabia, which was especially shocking since her husband wears a head covering literally everywhere.”

He also broached the subject of Ivanka’s Nordstrom saga

“Big year for fashion designer Ivanka Trump,” he said. “I’ve heard her clothes are flying off the shelves in Nordstrom.”

Apparently that didn’t go over so well.

Jokes aside, the CFDA stage was used to celebrate female empowerment and the push for greater human rights under the Trump administration when Gloria Steinem, Cecile Richards and Janelle Monáe accepted their CFDA Board of Directors’ Tribute Awards.

“Now, there is more activism than I have ever seen in my lifetime,” Steinem said. “And maybe, just maybe, thanks to all of you in this room and billions more around the world who are woke, we are not the richest but we are the majority and we are woke and maybe we are about to be free.”

This Guy Wore The Same Shirt For Every Yearbook Photo For Seven Years

Oh, shirt!

Justin Taylor always hated posing for photographs, but decided that if he had to do it, he’d have a little fun.

The now-34-year-old posted a collection of his yearbook photos from grades six through 12 on Twitter, and there is something very similar about them ...

Taylor wore the same Billabong T-shirt for every yearbook picture day from sixth grade to senior year of high school.

And, no, it wasn’t totally planned.

“It kind [of] happened by accident the first two years, and then I just went with it,” Taylor told HuffPost. “I thought it would be funny to watch how I looked just change over time while wearing the same shirt.”

The result is truly great, especially because Taylor’s haircuts and facial hair evolves in different ways. One Twitter user even compared his final portrait to Jake Gyllenhaal in “Bubble Boy.”

As for the shirt itself, Taylor doesn’t even remember where he got it from, but wanted to wear it for the photos because he “thought [he] was a pretty hilarious kid.” His parents, however, didn’t find the stunt so funny.

“My parents complained every year about why they were wasting money on the photos when I didn’t take them seriously,” he told us. “But I thought it was amazing. And I still have the shirt!”

Taylor shared a photo of him wearing the shirt now:

Taylor also told HuffPost that he wore the shirt in his driver’s license photo and under his dress shirt at prom, but couldn’t find those photos to share.

As for the fate of the shirt, Taylor tweeted that he’ll have to pass it on to his children one day. We can only hope they share his humor and help the yearbook stunt live on.

What a tradition that would be.

13-Year-Old Girl Encourages Body Love With Viral Swimsuit Photos

Paris Harvey just faced one of her biggest fears: wearing a bathing suit at the beach.

On May 27, the 13-year-old from Gillingham, Kent in the U.K. posted three photos of herself wearing a one piece bathing suit at the beach. According to local news outlet Kent Online, this was the first time Paris had been to the beach in three years.

“Omg so I faced my biggest fear today and went to the beach in a swimsuit,” Paris captioned the photos.

Paris’ post went viral and, as of Tuesday morning, had over 46,000 retweets and 337,000 likes.

The 13-year-old told HuffPost she originally posted the photos online to show her Twitter friends the body-positive progress she had made. Paris added that she also posted the photos to help break the stigma around “plus size people wearing swimsuits.”

Unfortunately, many Twitter users responded to Paris’ photos by fat-shaming and criticizing her. Paris told HuffPost she doesn’t have any time for those haters.

“I feel in a way inspired by the hate, they know nothing about me and my attitude towards helping people and caring a lot about people,” she said. “I’m always trying to radiating positivity whenever I go. I can’t change overnight and I shouldn’t change for anyone. I embrace the skin I’m in.”

Many people agreed with Paris’ outlook, tweeting an outpour of love and support for the 13-year-old. Big names like YouTube star Tyler Oakley and even Paris’ favorite artist, Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony, tweeted at the 13-year-old.

Paris’ dad Bill told HuffPost that his daughter is a “mature” teenager who’s an “inspiration” to her family and friends.

“Paris is such a positive role model to everyone around her,” he said. “... Love drives out hate and the support she has been getting is just phenomenal. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone from Facebook to Twitter to Instagram for all the kind words and support to Paris as it is much appreciated from all of us.”

Justin Trudeau Really Loves Fun Socks

$

By Liza Corsillo for GQ.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is stylish in the way that few politicians on the global stage are. For one, his suits actually fit his frame. And secondly, he’s not beholden to the old school codes of elected leader dressing. Sure, the man appreciates the versatility of a classic deep navy blue suit and brown lace-ups, but he’s got a secret weapon other world leaders don’t: an arsenal of fun socks. Back in May (May 4th to be exact), Trudeau wore a pair of mismatched R2D2 and C3PO Star Wars socks to meet with the Prime Minister of Ireland. Later in the month he showed off a pair of Nato branded socks to Angela Merkel, making his penchant for novelty socks an international affair. On an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan broadcast from Niagara Falls, Ripa and Seacrest jokingly gave the prime minister a pair of socks emblazoned with their own portraits. He’s a serious guy who doesn’t take getting dressed too seriously, which is a lesson every man can take to heart. Here’s a look at the Canuck’s wildest, boldest, and weirdest ankle accessorizing to date.

Forget Ladies’ Night. Monday was Gabrielle Union’s night.

Union attended the 2017 CFDA Awards in New York City wearing a stunning sparkly Rodarte suit, chartreuse eye makeup and the grooviest, most perfect ’70s-inspired hairdo we’ve seen in a long time.

Union’s mane has received a ton of affection lately. She drew cheers for wearing her hair naturally and even debuted her own line of hair products specifically formulated for textured hair back in March.

Celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims was the man responsible for her latest iconic moment, and explained to HuffPost exactly how he achieved the disco-worthy ‘do.

“Gabrielle has been rocking her natural texture,” he said. “I gave her an exaggerated version of her natural. We were inspired by Studio 54. I tipped her hair with a tent of color and added hair clips to match her texture. I then took a Mason Pearson Brush to her mane and made it lioness-like. It was the perfect finish to the Rodarte ensemble.”

Union was just as in love with that ensemble as we are with her hair. On a photo of the coat posted by her stylist, she commented, “I have the coat on and I’m still gagging.”

We are, too, Gabrielle. We are, too.
