President Obama Saves FLOTUS From A Marilyn Monroe Moment
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were in Austin, Texas on April 10 for a speaking engagement at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library. While heading to and returning from the event commemorating the landmark Civil Rights Act, Michelle encountered strong gusts of wind that nearly blew up her black-and-blue striped skirt.
Thankfully, Barack was by his wife every step of the way and was able to save FLOTUS from a Marilyn Monroe moment. They seemed to laugh at the embarrassing situation, however, we would've been distraught at the thought of photographers' cameras going off.
We can only describe this as the most graceful (and stylish) way to avoid a windy wardrobe malfunction. Way to go, Barack!
Is Brooklyn Decker The Funniest Model On Twitter? We're LOL!
Decker recently admitted she "wasn't a good model" and feels much more natural behind the camera. Well, she definitely feels at ease on social media, too.
The birthday girl, who turns 27 today, is quite the cutie on Twitter and Instagram. From frequent photos of her adorable bulldog, we can tell that she is a dog and nature lover. Not to mention, it appears she also loves wine, making Decker a girl after our own hearts.
We essentially can't decide if we want to be Brooklyn Decker, or be her best friend. Scroll down to see her goofing off on Twitter and Instagram.

Ellie Goulding On Lorde: 'She's A Good Egg'
The Huffington Post spoke with the energetic artist leading up to Coachella to talk about her bestie Lorde, how little she's planning to wear at the festival and what band she's most excited to see.
You and Lorde are very tight and are both performing at Coachella this year. Have you guys ever talked about collaborating on a song together?
I’m sure we have talked about it jokingly. But of course, anyone who’s a good person and a good musician is perfect to make music with. There are a lot of people who are very talented, but then there are people who are very talented and very humble -- and those are the people you end up making good stuff with. She’s a good one. She’s a good egg. And she deserves everything she’s worked for.
Are you planning on seeing her show at Coachella?
I actually just found out that we will be at Lollapalooza together and we literally had no idea. A couple years ago, I got to watch Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at Coachella and it was awesome. It was the best. They always bring something really special back. It’s the place for reunions and special performances. Obviously I’d love to see Ella [Lorde] perform, hopefully I’ll be there for that.
You have toured all over the world -- what does it feel like to perform at a festival versus doing your own tour or show?
Festivals are so much more fun -- there’s just something about them. People are excited to be outside. They’re also just a bit more excitable. Where sometimes with shows, when it’s just your own show and people have bought a ticket and have been anticipating it, they watch me do a show and sometimes people are really crazy and dance a lot, and other times people are kind of standing there. But it’s nice that things aren’t predictable. You don’t know what a crowd will be like. It’s very different every city.
What was your experience like working on “Divergent”? A producer told us their template was Simon & Garfunkel in "The Graduate.” That’s a pretty high bar.
Really? God, wow. It was awesome. It was like nothing I’ve really done before. I had real free reign over what I could do with my voice. I love any situation where I’m able to really kind of go crazy with my voice because a lot of the time, I make pop songs. I love to make pop music. And even though I don’t really listen to pop music, it’s still my favorite thing to do [laughs]. This was cool because I got to do some crazy shit with my voice.
Did they tell you they needed a certain number of songs, or songs that evoked a certain emotion?
I watched the film and I saw where they needed music and what the key points were. Many parts of it are really touching. I wanted to make sure I did it justice. My experience of being young watching film was that the soundtrack was everything. The “Amelie” soundtrack is one for me. I have the soundtrack for “Man On Fire” with Hans Zimmer, you know the film with Denzel Washington? And I’ve never even seen it.
I’ve seen you in concert and you have great style. Coachella is known for inspiring some really incredible outfits. How do you decide what you’re going to wear and is there pressure to look ‘cool’?
For me the most important thing is to perform well. So I always want to wear something I’m very comfortable in and obviously it gets very hot so I’ll wear, well, not much -- depending on how hot it is! I am thinking of a few things I might wear, I have a few summery things. I just came from England and I have a suitcase full of sweaters and jeans. Touring is a lot of shifting things around and sorting things out. I’m constantly having to rearrange.
You have been traveling at ton. Do you adjust well to being on the road or are you looking forward to having some time at home?
I like being on tour when you have someone helping you out, and I have a very dear friend with me helping me out. When you have that person, it’s perfect. We do yoga and running and workouts together. You can get yourself into a stable routine of eating well. Whereas at home, I do that too, but on tour you can be even a bit more regimented about it.
To be honest, I am really ready to stop touring for a bit. I’m just tired. I feel like I’ve got so much to catch up on. I wasn’t there when so many of my friends are getting married, having babies. I know it seems crazy, but there’s just so much that I’m missing out on. I do have a really incredible job and I get to be on tour with my favorite people, but at the same time, I’m staring to think that I want to spend a substantial amount of time at home.
Is there one thing you do to help yourself get through these long grueling stretches? Do you meditate? Do you try to sleep more?
I suppose one thing I do on tour is sleep more. Not to the point where I’m constantly sleeping, but I definitely try to force myself to rest a bit more. Just so that my voice is really rested and I’m in a good mood. I go to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning when I’m on tour just because the show finishes late and then we all shower and stuff and get on the bus and by the time the bus leaves, it’s about 2 a.m. And because the bus is so noisy and constantly stopping, it means that you’re always getting up throughout the night. You don’t really have a full night sleep. You end up having to compensate by staying in bed until mid-day. Which sounds nuts. As soon as I’m up and awake, I go out running or I go workout.
Who are you most excited to see at Coachella?
I definitely would love to see Outkast. I know my band and my friends will want to.

Emma Stone Channels Catwoman At Paris Premiere Of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Media Minority
But you'd better believe that I watched this year's Academy Awards.
A major factor is that Ellen hosted, and it takes a strange person not to love her, but I was watching for another major reason:
Ms. Lupita Nyong'o.
And you'd better believe that I sobbed while listening to her acceptance speech.
Strangely, when I went to school the next day, no one seemed to share the same feeling of excitement and pride. Why had it made me so emotional? As I gazed around the room, I noticed that I was one out of three black girls in my class.
Could that have been the reason why?
From Game of Thrones to The Hunger Games, most lead roles have been held by characters with white skin. It seems as though the norm is for black characters to be the ones to get killed off. Am I supposed to be content with that?
I look at Tavi Gevinson, Kiernan Shipka, Jennifer Lawrence, Chloe Moretz and Maisie Williams with the utmost admiration. These young women are professional, but can be silly. They're amazing at what they do. But most importantly, they inspire girls like me. I want to be just like them, but I can't. This isn't a problem in the slightest, but the media sure does a fine job of making me feel that way.
Sasheer Zamata is the first black female cast member on SNL in four years.
Kerry Washington is the first black actress to lead an American network drama series since 1974.
Shonda Rhimes is the first black woman to create and executive-produce one of the ten most popular network television series on air.
You don't hear a whole lot about women like them, and I'm tired of being told that media representation doesn't matter.
What's sad is that women like them don't get the same media attention.
Sometimes I feel silly when I see girls like Justina Sharp or Amandla Stenberg on the internet and get emotional. I marvel at the way they wear their hair and do their makeup. And I still marvel at the fact that they're so pretty. I used to glare at girls with what was always deemed "normal" hair as they went on and on about how long it took to straighten. I resisted the urge to mention how my hair took almost eleven hours to braid.
You know what kind of media attention Amandla Stenberg received? Anger. People were angry because she portrayed Rue in The Hunger Games, but not because of her acting. People got upset because she's black.
When a magazine calls a woman with pale eyes and hair beautiful, I don't have any problem agreeing. They are beautiful. We all are. But what many magazines fail to realize is that there's more than one brand of beauty.
I'm not going to lie. There have been moments when I hoped for lighter skin, for hair that wasn't so thick and curly that it looked like a puffball whenever it wasn't contained. After all, that's what everyone else looked like. They were the ones good enough to be on TV, the ones who were pretty enough to be in the movies.
Media representation is important because it makes girls like me feel like we matter.
This shouldn't be a big deal. I see black women every day, many of who do amazing things. I know they exist. But it's like the media is trying to convince me that they don't. It's still groundbreaking when females are given media attention for something other than their bodies, and this sensation is even more powerful for black women.
When I don't see them in the media, it feels like no one wants them to get the recognition they deserve.
When it comes down to it, the media has a responsibility to young girls. It doesn't matter what religion or race they are. We're exposed to the thoughts presented to us, and one major one is that white woman are prettier. They deserve to get starring roles, high positions in entertainment, and magazine covers. Not us.
In some ways, women like Kerry Washington have more responsibility than white women in the media. There are so few African-American women featured in the media that a large part of this burden is placed on Kerry Washington's shoulders.
And she carries it with grace, just as many black women do.
This isn't only done to black women. Any group of women without white skin is affected by a lack of media representation, and all of the young girls that come with them are as well. By whitewashing the media, black women aren't the only ones affected.
"When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid. Thank you."-Lupita Nyong'o

Carolina Herrera Spring 2015 Wedding Dresses: PHOTOS
By the Editors of TheKnot.com
It doesn’t get more classic than a wedding dress designed by Carolina Herrera. This season’s Spring 2015 wedding dress line was filled with lots of layered soft tulle, embellished lace, and luxe silk. Little surprises like trendy peplum panel skirts and laser-cut lace mixed with Carolina’s signature structured-yet-feminine design gave the collection a sense of whimsy without going too over-the-top. But our favorite part had to be the big statement earrings! Scroll below and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

Celebs Take Bold Risks On This Week's Best & Worst Beauty List
We're not sure what the "Dark Horse" singer was thinking when she chose this Nickelodeon slime green shade, but it certainly isn't one of her best beauty moments. However, actress Emma Stone showed us the right way to revamp an old Hollywood trend.
See these bold beauty looks below (plus more standout hair and makeup).
BEST: Emma Stone
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" actress steals the spotlight at the Los Angeles, California premiere with her retro waves and raspberry lips. The contrast between her strawberry blonde hair, bold lip color and yellow gown is absolutely stunning.
BEST: Jennifer Garner
Garner looks super hot with this amazing blowout hairstyle, lush lashes and pale pink lipstick. She's giving us '70s bombshell!
BEST: Freida Pinto
The 29-year-old actress and L'Oreal spokesmodel can do no wrong with this center-parted textured ponytail, deep purple eyeshadow and crimson red lip color.
BEST: Kate Walsh
Wow! We haven't seen Walsh in a minute but this glamorous look made it all worth the wait. She is rocking these shiny, side-swept curls with mauve-pink makeup like it's nobody's business.
BEST: Kate Bosworth
If we had to describe Bosworth's beauty look in one word, it would be perfection.
WORST: Katy Perry
Ladies, let this be a hard lesson on what not to do with your hair after a breakup. Perry looks like a Troll doll with this bright green-and-black hairdo, but at least her makeup is flawless...
WORST: Alesha Dixon
Dixon is such a naturally beautiful woman that we hate to see that get overshadowed (literally!) with dark makeup and awful ombre hair.
WORST: Alanna Masterson
We barely recognized "The Walking Dead" actress underneath all of the heavy makeup. Between her obviously filled-in brows, thick top eyeliner and burgundy lips, we're not sure what's worse.
WORST: Nia Vardalos
This Greek-Canadian film star looks like she's stuck in another decade with this combover bangs and unflattering fuchsia lipstick.
WORST: Heather Matarazzo
We're not sure what Matarazzo was thinking when she walked out of her house wearing orange eye shadow with such severe eyeliner.
Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 Wedding Dresses: PHOTOS
By the editors of TheKnot.com
You’re not likely to see a miss at a Monique Lhuillier bridal fashion runway show and this season was no different. The title of her Spring 2015 wedding dress collection was My Eternal Daydream and the line was inspired by the works of painter John Singer Sargent. Beautiful unexpected shades of hydrangea, pistachio and misty blue created a watercolor display. Coupled with effortless A-line and fit-and-flare silhouettes, the line was decidedly romantic and sophisticated. See Monique Lhuillier’s brand-new dreamy new wedding dress designs here!

Vera Wang's Spring 2015 Bridal Collection Debuts In Video Form
For the first time in 24 years, instead of doing a live runway show at this year's bridal market, Wang opted to do a visual video presentation that went live on her website on Sunday, April 13.
In a press release, Wang says her intention is to reach a wider audience than she could with a runway show.
"The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of the clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere," she said. "In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience."
The new collection has an etherial, cutting edge quality to it and even features a gown with a bra top (yes, really!). Check out the video above and then scroll through the slideshow below for all the looks.

Vanessa Hudgens Reveals Bindi Dust Lines, Should Probably Look Up The Definition Of 'Cultural Appropriation'
This photo should alert us to a variety of issues (such as concern for the amount of minute granular rock that is being breathed into the delicate lungs of young Hollywood), but most importantly, the fact that it is super inappropriate to wear religious adornments as festival wear.
Many of Hudgens followers have criticized the choice, inciting a mini-debate that includes such comments as "Do you even know the significance of a bindi in Hinduism/ Indian Culture?" as well as "You not the culture police."
It's true, "you not the culture police," but, as her friend Selena Gomez ought to have learned from the choice to perform "Come And Get It" in a bindi, cultural appropriation is, at its least, uncool, and at its worst, extremely offensive.
The remaining Coachella attendees should consider gathering dust on funky, boho accessories that do not undermine religious significance, such as fun sunglasses or a whimsically large hat.
Pope Francis Is All About The #Selfie
According to the AP, a crowd of some 100,000 people had gathered to attend the Palm Sunday Mass, which marks the beginning of Holy Week. The pope reportedly ignored his prepared homily during the service, instead delivering an "entirely off-the-cuff" sermon. This, the AP says, was a "remarkable departure from practice."
Known for his unconventional ways, Pope Francis is no stranger to the world of selfies.
Last August, for example, the head of the Catholic Church broke the Internet after taking this epic selfie with a group of believers inside St. Peter's Basilica:
Then earlier this year, he posed for yet another awesome shot.

But, this is definitely a look that only Teigen can pull off -- with her winning smile and neutral makeup, it seems like the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model doesn't show up to disappoint, but to make a statement.

We Almost Didn't Recognize Nicki Minaj At The 2014 MTV Movie Awards (PHOTOS)
Let's be honest -- Minaj is not exactly known for her glam on the red carpet. In fact, the singer is more likely to be spotted with a rainbow of colors in her hair or a dress that leaves little to the imagination. But that all changed at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.
The singer attended the ceremony as a presenter just ahead of her acting debut in the upcoming comedy "The Other Woman." She looked absolutely stunning (and dare we say natural!) in a black, skintight Alexander McQueen dress. She finished off the look flawlessly with sleek, side-swept hair, minimal makeup and gold jewelry.
We have to admit we are loving this "less-is-more" look. What do you think?
