Joined by boyfriend Scott Disick and their children, Mason and Penelope, Kardashian certainly looked like she enjoyed her stay at the Casa Aramara, a private retreat owned by "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis. The reality star paired hers with a graphic T-shirt, feathered shoulders, denim shorts, a fanny pack and ankle booties. The "After Earth" actor wore a black T-shirt and black pants with a sweatshirt tied around his waist.

The two were joined by a big group including their respective siblings, Kendall Jenner and Willow Smith.

The Shame Spiral

0
0
Let me tell you a story of two women. One woman had a bad day: She messed up a presentation at work; didn't get an award she was up for; went out and drank too much, ate even more, called her toxic ex and cried on the phone until he agreed that she could come over. The next morning, she woke up sweating, her heart racing. She wanted to throw up, purge herself of the booze and junk food she'd consumed during her nocturnal binge when she was feeling powerless and feral. I keep screwing up, she thought. She wanted to scratch the skin from her body, remove the stench left by her ex, an illogical choice of people to turn to when she was feeling isolated and alone as he had a history of making her feel worse and, right on cue, as they were in the throes of passion, all she kept thinking was: I am such a loser.

The question becomes, why would she inflict torture on herself when she was already feeling bad? It's called the shame spiral. The next morning, she quietly dressed as not to wake her passed-out ex, searched her purse and prayed to find a pair of sunglasses so she might eschew eye contact with passersby on her morning "walk of shame." All the while, she did everything she could to hold back the deluge of tears that were choking her: She felt bad about feeling bad. It was, after all, her fault for taking a rotten situation and making it worse. At least, that's how she saw it.

The other woman also had a bad day. She received criticism at work and was passed over for a promotion. The man to whom she'd once been engaged had sent her another nasty email that read like a laundry list of everything that was wrong with her. She missed a woman with whom she was no longer friends, and wondered how it was that so many people who'd once been staples in her life had vanished. She could feel herself about to start spinning. I screwed up, she thought. But then she stopped herself. Mistakes happen. People screw up all the time. "I am not a loser," she said it out loud so she could really hear herself. She had her arsenal of things to do when she was feeling this way: Call a friend, go for a walk and start a conversation with a stranger, remind herself of her accomplishments, do something empowering like go for a run, repeat mantras from women she admires and remember that who she is remains distinct from the things she's done. She also knew to avoid triggers that would end up making her feel even worse -- which meant staying away from isolating forces like toxic people and social media (where everyone seems to be living amazing lives, even though we know they're curated), avoiding depressants like alcohol and indulgent foods that offer short-term release, but end up making her feel gluttonous and weak in their wake.

Confession: I am both of these women. Having put myself through the ringer of the shame spiral, I can say that living my life is a lot more pleasant when I speak back to feeling damaged, used, passed over or around, and leave room for the myriad other feelings that exist within me (they are there, even when I'm feeling at my worst -- but I have to dig deep to access them).

Such excavation is hard work, especially when you're feeling beat down by a job/friend/man/body (I can go on and on) that doesn't validate you. But this self-talk is the only antidote for shame. Dr. Brené Brown -- researcher, TED speaker, author of the book Daring Greatly and a psychologist who has spent a decade researching shame -- explains that self-talk is essential in breaking free from the shame spiral. "You've got to reach out and tell your story. You've got to speak your shame."

It's no easy feat to admit to flaws, because that means they're real and we have to confront them. Accepting our mistakes or shortcomings -- choices that may not have served us well, unflattering ways others may perceive us, or subtle imperfections that gnaw away at us -- is uncomfortable in the short-term, but acknowledging them can ward off long-term problems. Dr. Brown's research points to the fact that "shame [is] highly correlated with addiction, depression, eating disorders, violence, bullying and aggression," which can all serve as masks or so-called armor we don to keep ourselves from dealing with, simply put, the reality of ourselves.

It seems simple enough. On the one hand, as logical women, we know one gets validated by external forces all the time. I'd be lying if I said external validation doesn't feel fantastic -- intoxicating even. It's also a given that we will screw up; that's inevitable. So, therefore, it's understandable that we don't feel terrific when we screw up. We might even feel guilty. So, why do we let it make us feel like losers? We live in a culture where at every turn -- from our religious beliefs to our peers' admonishments -- judgment is de rigueur. But the difference between shame and guilt is that shame is an internalized feeling of guilt. In other words, shame relates to self, guilt to others. This distinction is so crucial, especially, in my opinion, for women.

There are many reasons women internalize social, psychological and institutional forces more so than our male counterparts. We have a history of being called "hysterical" and everything from our anatomy to over-diagnosed anxiety disorder in women supports this notion that we internalize shame to a greater degree than men. It's not surprising that Dr. Brown's research shows that most women feel shame about issues that are in some way related to femininity, or a modern-day incarnation of the feminine mystique. Regarding her research on women and shame, she says:

Without exception, all of the participants' shame experiences fit in one of these categories: identity, appearance, sexuality, family, motherhood, parenting, health (mental and physical), aging, religion and a woman's ability to stand up and speak out for herself. These are the categories in which women struggle the most with feelings of shame.

Most recently, the media has jumped on the idea of slut-shaming, although attacking a woman and judging her for her sexuality is nothing new. As a journalist, novelist, professor and women's advocate, I can speak to the fact that most people know me for writing about my dating and sex life, even though that's only one fraction of the work I do in the public sphere. Being slut-shamed has hurt me personally; made me feel used and, recently, I had to hold back tears in a business meeting where my public image was called "inappropriate." But I'm not going to self-reproach for showing emotion or feeling wounded because that would continue the shame spiral.

Instead, I'm going to summon my inner-Madonna, who in 1985, had some choice words for detractors who tried to bring her down. Tabloids, Playboy and Penthouse ran nude pictures of her that had been taken when she was a struggling artist's model and the media went wild. What did she do? She spoke back to the scandal and collaborated with two of the decade's biggest artists, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, to make art and headlines of her own. She used three words, simple and to the point to bravely self-talk in a public. So follow in Madge's footsteps and repeat as often as necessary: "I'm not ashamed."

These Vintage Photos Prove That Queen Elizabeth II Is The Most Stylish Royal Of All

It's not news that Queen Elizabeth II is a bit of a fashion icon. After all, she does have designers like Karl Lagerfeld praising her flawless and timeless style.

But, with all the hype surrounding Kate Middleton and every thing she wears, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that the queen was mixing prints and color-blocking way before the duchess was around.

In honor of her majesty's 88th birthday, we invite you to check out just how stylish the queen was -- and still continues, to be.

Kris Jenner Goes Short For Church On Easter Sunday

Kris Jenner spent her Easter Sunday morning at church on April 20, with the husband she split from but still hangs out with, Bruce, and her mother, Mary Jo Shannon.

Jenner, who was hospitalized for "internal pains" just last week, looked healthy and radiant in a stylish blue mini-dress with a white collar and blue heels. She was spotted leaving the Agoura Hills, Calif., church after service.

Remembering Natural Hair Vlogger Domineque Banks' Beautiful Legacy (VIDEOS)

Although it's been a few weeks since we learned that natural hair vlogger Domineque Banks passed away after battling lupus, the sad news is still weighing heavily on our hearts.

The 27-year-old known as “Longhairdontcare2011” was beloved for her YouTube videos, which offered up awesome tutorials and sage advice for naturalistas. Domineque was inspired by her illness to start documenting her hair journey in 2004, however her glowing personality never let on that she was suffering.

In celebration of her short, yet impactful life, we've gathered a few of our favorite videos from Domineque. Although she is gone, her beautiful legacy lives on.

Sneakers: The New Fashion Must Have

0
0
Sneakers have made their way out of the gym and into the world of high fashion. Ever since Karl Lagerfeld dressed his models in sneakers on the catwalk, we see them everywhere.

Finally, a trend, women will be relieved to wear -- an item both stylish and comfortable. No tortured feet in towering heels!

I'm not sure all women will adopt this peculiar trend, but why not give a try?

For the skeptics, give them a spin over the weekend: Choose a white pair to match your cargo pants, add on a striped top or a floral skirt with a denim shirt and voila!

Or, on a day you are running around doing your errands: What better way to hit the mall than light and unencumbered by tottering heels. It's so much easier to pile up on the shopping bags! Wear your boyfriend jeans with a pair of bulky white sneakers.

Feeling braver? Try wearing your sneakers to the office: Opt for a chic style (vintage Stan Smith's for instance) and compensate the "relaxed" items on your feet with a pair of classic black, grey or dark blue trousers and a blazer. Accessorize with some statement jewelry (necklace or big chunky bracelets).

During your coffee break, explain to your amused colleagues that sneakers are the new Loubies. They'll either think you've lost it, or re-crown you their new fashion icon.

For the bravest of heart, wear them for a night out with your married friends. Men will stare at your feet with disdain, while women will sniff up their noses in a disapproving air. Who said being a fashionista was easy? Wear a pair of black or pastel sneakers, team them with a waist-cinched dress or a cropped top and a high-waisted skirt.

Worried about a night on the town with your single friends? Seriously? What better way to hit the dance floor than in a pair of printed colorful sneakers? For the fearless, team them with shorts, or my favorite item of the season, Bermuda shorts. For those not quite ready for the full leap, try black or white denim with a silky top and chandelier earrings.

Trot around proudly in your sneakers. You are a pioneer. You rode this fashion wave at its earliest stage. You are unbeatable because you're in the know. And if weakness starts creeping in, always tell them you're hitting the gym after you're done!

That would be a huge disappointment. But, that's just from one fashionista to another...

Celebrities Mourn Peaches Geldof At Funeral In Kent

Loved ones gathered to mourn Peaches Geldof on Monday, April 21, at a private funeral in Kent, England.

Geldof's funeral was held at the St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, the same church where the funeral for her mother, Paula Yates, was held in 2000 after she died of a heroin overdose, the BBC notes. It is also where Geldof married musician Tom Cohen in 2012.

Supermodel Kate Moss, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman were among the celebrities who paid their respects at the ceremony for the 25-year-old, the BBC reports. Bono and Annie Lennox were also expected to attend, according to the Independent.

A hearse carried a blue coffin painted with images of Geldof, Cohen, their two children and dogs. Her ashes are expected to be scattered in the garden of Sir Bob's Davington Priory country estate, according to the BBC.

Geldof was found dead in her Kent home on April 7. An autopsy performed earlier this month failed to provide a cause of death. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months.

Emma Stone Admits To Googling Herself, Gets A Kick Out Of Being Called 'Bland Basic Bitch'

Emma Stone's much-deserved Vogue cover is here, and the red haired "Spider-Man" star is as charming and affable as you'd expect.

For the magazine's May issue, Stone took Jason Gay to Build-a-Bear and to get hot dogs at the mall. It's a far cry from your typical Hollywood A-list behavior, especially when juxtaposed with the 25-year-old's breathtaking, high-end fashion shots. But Stone is anything but an ordinary celebrity, and Vogue is keen on driving that point home.

"Stone's not being falsely modest," Gay wrote. "She is the rare person in public life who will straight up tell you that yes, she has Googled herself. 'I don't usually like what I find,' she says. 'But some of it is really funny.' Stone mentions Internet comments that referred to her as a 'Bland Basic Bitch,' which was probably meant as a dig, but she found it hilarious, to the point that at dinner she now begins to refer to herself as 'That Bland Basic Bitch.'"

Stone also discussed her boyfriend of almost three years, Andrew Garfield, Mr. Spider-Man himself. And by "discussed," we mean mentioned, because the two of them are adamant about keeping their relationship as private as possible.

"I think I've learned a lot by being around him," she told Vogue of collaborating with Garfield on the superhero franchise. "And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me." She then adds that working with him "[is] fun. It's been fun working with him just because of who he is as an actor and person. I think it would be fun no matter what."

Victoria Justice Hits Coachella In Hot Pink Top And Short Shorts

Victoria Justice was just one of dozens of celebrities to attend the second and final weekend of Coachella 2014, and it's safe to say she's got the festival look down to a science.

The 21-year-old former Nickelodeon star spent Sunday, April 20, at the music festival in Indio, Calif., wearing a hot pink crochet crop top and white shorts. And since it's practically blasphemous to attend Coachella without flowers in your hair, Justice made sure to wear a crown of white ones.

After spending all day in the desert heat, Justice cooled off by changing into a crocheted black monokini, and shared a photo of her poolside moment on Instagram. "Pool time at Coachella! Love that the #galaxys5 is water resistant. So cool. #thenexrbigthing," she wrote.

Emma Stone Is Vogue's May Cover Star And Still Doesn't Think She's A Style Icon

0
0
Emma Stone may frequent best-dressed lists and act as a muse to Woody Allen, but that doesn't mean that she isn't modest, especially when it comes to her role as a style icon.

The "Amazing Spiderman 2" star is Vogue's May cover girl, and even though we're not totally digging that hat, there is no denying her high fashion appeal. Stone, however, thinks of herself a bit differently. In fact, according to her interview, she almost finds the fact that she has any influence on style comical. When asked, she peered down at her yellow shoes and said “No, I’ve never thought about that,” adding, "though it would be supercool if everyone started wearing yellow leather shoes."

Based on the photos from her spread alone, we think it's safe to say she has more of a style impact than she realizes.

We'll have to wait to get our hands on the mag until April 29, but for now, head over to Vogue to see the entire shoot, and check out the cover below. What do you think of her look?

17 Organic And Eco-Friendly Beauty Products You Need This Earth Day

0
0
While we love to create our own personal spa days with a good DIY beauty concoction (probably involving coconut oil), we're still very much product junkies that can't get enough of our monthly beauty hauls. But, as we indulge in our favorite lotions, potions, mascaras and lipsticks, we find that we are not only putting a lot of toxins on our skin, but we also releasing harmful chemicals into the precious air around us.

Which got us thinking: Are there safer, wearable, natural and earth-friendly beauty buys out there?

We were thrilled to discover that becoming conscious cosmetic consumers is only a click away thanks to Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep cosmetics database. The comprehensive website and app catalogs nearly 70,000 products -- ranging from moisturizers, makeup, deodorant, toothpaste and baby shampoo -- into three hazard ratings (low, moderate, or high concern) based on each product's ingredient information.

"The website was born out of the fact that so little is known about the products that we routinely use on our bodies everyday and also out of the fact that it's commonly believed that if a product is on the market, and the government allows it to be on the market, then it has to be safe -- and that couldn't be further from the truth in a lot of cases," Nneka Leiba, Deputy Director of Research at EWG, told The Huffington Post. "So we decided to make that information known and show that there are safer products out there."

Indeed there are and we've rounded up a bunch of brands that could cater to your conscious consuming needs. From our favorite facial mask from Tata Harper to LUSH Cosmetics' fragrant scrub, here are 17 organic and eco-friendly products you need to snag this Earth Day.

Art by Raydene Salinas

1. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, $55
When it comes to organic beauty very few companies can hold a light to the research, development and products from Tata Harper. The luxury line is 100% free of synthetic and chemical ingredients, which means you can feel good about splurging on all Tata’s top-notch offerings.

2. RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek Colors, $36
Most makeup companies are concerned with just enhancing your looks, but RMS promises that along with formulas that both heal and nourish. That care also goes into the packaging for the the line’s lovely mineral derived hues, which are made of recyclable glass with air tight aluminum recyclable lids.

3. Oyin Handmade Fizzy Milk Bath, $12.99
It’s no surprise that the name “Oyin” means “honey” in Yoruba, because these products are oozing with rich and luxurious goodness. Plus everything is made from scratch, by hand, and in small batches.

4. Nature’s Gate Rice Bran Cleansing Milk, $10.99
Get herbal with the Nature’e Gate brand, as they raise the stakes in conscious products by giving some cool products that are free of animal derived ingredients. So you’ll get to bathe and mositurize in some of the world’s most natural inhabitants: plants.

5. Beauty Counter Lustro Face Oil, $64
The BeautyCounter has some pretty radical ideas when it comes to making their products user safe -- the brand has banned 1500 toxic chemicals from their makeup, meaning they are dedicated to making the best formulas that won’t harm you in the long run. Bravo!

6. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask, $26
Bite Beauty guarantees superb lip formulas, which they describe on their website as “healthy enough to eat for women everywhere.” Well, we love eating and nice, hydrated lips, so we’ll take some Bite anytime.

7. Avalon Organics Olive and Grape Seed Conditioner, $10.50
Be the conscious consumer you’ve alway wanted to be with Avalon Organics. And while you’re add it, take some time to appreciate the “Five Elements Of Consciousness” that the company strives to hit when selling their products: Purity & Safety, Sustainability, Effectiveness, Intimacy and Personal Choice.

8. Drunk Elephant Pekee Bar, $32
If you’ve never seen a beauty blacklist, then you’re in for a treat because Drunk Elephant doesn’t play when it comes to possibly dangerous ingredients like parabens. Not only does the brand care about what you put on your skin, but they also have a careful eye on what gets put back into our environment.

9. Meow Meow Tweet Face Exfoliant, $20
Brooklyn might be the last place you’d expect a completely vegan and hand-crafted beauty line to be created -- but that’s precisely the homebase for Meow Meow Tweet. Not only are the formulations original (like the oat/chamomile flowers/black walnut hull/kelp exfoliant) but so is the colorful packaging.

10. Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Clay Mask, $49.95
Since it’s launch in 1967 the Dr. Hauschka skincare line’s mission has been "to support the healing of humanity and the earth.” The brand backs that up with a plethora of plant-based products that range from body creams to homeopathic remedies -- and even makeup.

11. Eminence Stone Crop Gel Wash, $38
Actress Thandie Newton, Olympic gold-medalist Lindsey Vonn, and singer Santigold are just a few of the stars who swear by Eminence’s range of completely organic and non-toxic products. And if that’s not tempting enough, the company also uses sustainable farming and wind energy for an extra dose of earth-friendly love.

12. The Lip Bar Lipstick, $20
Bold lip colors are the key to our hearts, and when we learned about The Lip Bar’s dedication to making intense lipsticks with natural products, like shea butter, we just had to put them on this list.

13. Marie Veronique Organics Pacific Face Oil, $110
If anti-aging the natural way is your aim then look no further. MVO was founded by a former high school chemistry teacher and the brand’s potent, organic-based concoctions strike the perfect balance between science and nature.

14. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular CC Cream, $39
Imagine covering your skin with a smoothie of certified organic fruits and vegetables and that’s essentially what you’re doing with any of Juice Beauty’s products. The CC Cream alone is packed with grape seed oil as well as apple, lemon, and white grape juices.

15. The Honest Company Baby Wipes, $4.95
Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan started The Honest Company out of their own experience as parents who wanted the best eco-friendly, yet affordable products for their family. While Honest products can speak to your personal needs, they are also kid-friendly!

16. Burt’s Bees Hand Salve, $7.20
We can’t remember when we first fell in love with Burt’s Bees products, but we’re glad we did. The all-natural company, which humbling started with a line of candles in the 80’s, is arguably the most iconic and recognizable organic beauty purveyor in the world.

17. LUSH Ginger And Fennel Sugar Scrub, $6.25
Sure, some brands take it as far as making healthier products availble. But, LUSH Cosmetics pushes the envelope in their fight against animal testing, their awareness of ethical shopping and of course their maintainence of natural, handmade goods.

Look out for these chemicals when shopping for your beauty bag...

Taylor Swift Frolics In A Bikini On A Picturesque Beach Day

That's one way to celebrate Easter.

Taylor Swift shared a bikini photo on Instagram Monday, April 21, from her spring holiday weekend at an unknown picturesque location. In the snapshot, the 24-year-old singer is walking on the sand in a blue two-piece swimsuit with her arms outstretched beside the turquoise water.

"Looking for Easter eggs...," she wrote.

Dove Parody Spoofs 'Patches' Campaign: 'You're Not Actually A Hideous Monster!'

0

Dove might assume that all women are constantly deeply insecure about their appearances, but not everyone is buying it.

In Dove's most recent ad campaign, "Patches," women were told that to wear a "beauty patch" for two weeks and record any changes in their self-esteem in a video diary. At the end of the advertisement, they were told that the patch was just a sticker, and their improved confidence was all an illusion. None of the women questioned the efficacy of the "patch" in the first place, or were angry that they'd been duped, which made the ad come off as somewhat manipulative and the women as gullible.

Some viewers found the ad inspiring, but others found it insulting, "garbage" and "bullsh*t."

Comedy network Above Average ran with the criticism of Dove's pseudo-science to make their parody video, in which a "scientist" tries to make women believe that a man in a gorilla suit is actually how they see themselves when they look in the mirror -- and reveals that, in fact, their hideous appearances were all in their heads.

Unlike the original Dove spot, the ladies in this video don't fall for the gimmick. As one of the women says: "I don't think that I look like a zoo animal." We'll take a t-shirt with that printed on it.

Nicki Minaj Wears A Knitted Dress To 'The Other Woman' Premiere

Nicki Minaj managed to make a knitted dress a show-stopper at Monday night's premiere of "The Other Woman."

Minaj looked lovely in a curve-hugging cream dress as she made her way down the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles on April 21. The rapper-turned-actress was there to promote the upcoming romantic comedy alongside Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton and Leslie Mann.

Later in the evening, she slipped on a more colorful ensemble for the premiere after-party at the W Hotel.

Cameron Diaz's Plunging Dress Steals The Show At 'The Other Woman' Premiere

Cameron Diaz's plunging neckline stole the show at the Los Angeles premiere of "The Other Woman" on Monday, April 21.

Even with curvy co-stars Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj pulling out all the stops, all eyes were on the 41-year-old actress who killed it in a little black dress with a deep u-shaped neckline.

Of course, there's no actual competition between Diaz and her co-stars, a message she says is highlighted in "The Other Woman."

"This film lets people know that women can champion one another, they don’t have to be competitive," she told The Gaurdian. "It's about the way these women get through that heartbreak and move forward. Sure, they take the low road for a second, but the story is all about their friendship."

Miranda Kerr Lands Yet Another Magazine Cover Because Obviously

0
0
Just when we thought we couldn't possibly see anymore of supermodel Miranda Kerr, she pops up on yet another magazine cover.

The Australian babe looks as leggy as ever on the May 2014 cover of Elle Spain, shot by fashion photographer Xavi Gordo. Of course the former Victoria's Secret Angel wore a teeny, tiny bikini for the occasion, but what got our attention was her golden complexion. Either she's found the best fake tanner in existence, or she has a serious jump on her summer tan.

Though we wouldn't be opposed to seeing some new models in the spotlight every now and again, there is no denying Kerr's ability to rock a mag cover like no one else. Check out the rest of the steamy shoot here and let us know what you think of the cover below.

Gisele Bundchen's Single For H&M Debuts, But She's Not The Only Singing Supermodel

0
0
Are singing supermodels really the next new trend?

We first heard the news that Gisele Bündchen would once again be lending her voice to H&M for its Summer 2014 campaign with a rendition of Blondie's "Heart Of Glass" when photos of the ad surfaced a few weeks ago. Now, our wait is finally over -- the video debuted Tuesday.

While Bündchen looks flawless showcasing H&M's latest swimwear offerings, and the video was made for a good cause (all royalties from the single go to UNICEF,) we're not sure a musical venture was the best way to show off her talents. Plus we're just a little confused by all the horses.

And if one singing supermodel wasn't enough, it also seems like Miranda Kerr is taking a break from modeling to have her hand at music in a duet with "Jersey Boys" star Bobby Cox. The two paired up for a version of Elvis' "You're The Boss" and we think Kerr actually sounds pretty good.

Still, we have to admit that we prefer seeing both these gorgeous women on the runway and not in the recording studio. What do you think? Check out both videos and sound off below!

This 'Suit Supply' Ad Campaign Is So Sexist, It Seems To Have Forgotten What It's Selling

0
0
When it comes to sexist ads, we thought we had seen the worst of it. Until now.

Dutch company SuitSupply has us slamming our heads against our desks with its Spring/Summer 2014 campaign. The menswear brand is trying to sell suits with advertisements chock-full of bare breasts beneath drenched button-ups and bikini-clad women. Reminiscent of the Abercrombie & Fitch's attempt to sell clothes by removing them, the campaign (viewing options include censored and uncensored) features more naked women than actual clothing -- much less men's clothing.

left arm

This is (by far) the most underboob action we've ever seen in an advertisement for suits.

As PolicyMic's Elizabeth Plank deftly noted: "The result is an ad campaign that only a guy who still idolizes Stifler could appreciate."

Not only do these ads completely demean and objectify women, SuitSupply offends men if they really believe an entire gender is actually this narrow-minded when shopping for clothing. If only they'd market Crocs to men using disembodied, be-thonged women, they'd all be traipsing about in pastel rubber, right? While sex may sell, it's almost impossible to determine what SuitSupply is even attempting to sell here.

We thought SuitSupply would've learned their lesson after their huge advertising flop in 2010, when their campaign was so demeaning to women that the ads were deemed offensive and removed from Facebook. As Plank pointed out, "Who knew men could engage in so much sexual activity without ever taking their suits off?" (Seriously though, do people do that? Because, if so, we're confused.)

boobs
"Buy these suits so your lady friend can wear them when she swims." (Wait.. what?)

The ad is supposedly a "reminder of what summer looks like," but we don't ever remember summer looking like this.
