Now we no longer need to wonder. The punky singer submitted herself to a "makeunder" for Allure, stripping off the signature eyeliner and mascara for the magazine's January 2014 issue.
Although the "Complicated" singer, now 29, admits that she wears black eyeliner literally every day -- "I do it when I'm just at home" -- we think she so looks lovely without dark-rimmed eyes. But with this gorgeous new photo by Sebastian Kim, we're reminded that it is actually possible to take off your heavy makeup -- even if you're the kind of girl who feels naked without it.
