Christina Aguilera Impersonates Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus & Others In 'The Voice' Promo

0
0
We all know that Christina Aguilera does one hell of a Britney Spears impression, but this is a little different.

In a promo for "The Voice," which will crown its Season 8 winner on tonight's finale, the 34-year-old singer impersonates Cher, Miley Cyrus, Sia, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Britney Spears.

Aguilera has a knack for impressions as we first learned during her turn hosting "Saturday Night Live" back in 2004, and she previously impressed "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" viewers with her spot-on impression of Spears' singing voice, but this time around her take on the pop princess isn't the most flattering.

"The Voice" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m.on NBC.

What Kind Of Shoes To Wear With All Your Tricky Summer Bottoms

what shoe to wear final

Summer 2015 is shaping up to be the season of tricky hemlines. From the emergence of culottes to the continued rise of the midi, trending garments are hitting our legs at new lengths, leaving us wondering: what shoes do you pair with these things?

In search of some answers, we partnered with Zappos to ask some of the most stylish women we know how they style trending items with unconventional hemlines. Read on for the cheat sheet we’ll be using all season!

Culottes: Wide Leg, Slim Heel

Culottes are style blogger Laura Dittrich’s favorite pant. But, she said, “they are definitely tricky to style, and can look quite unflattering easily, since they are wide and can make your legs look super short.” Dittrich recommends pairing culottes with heels to add length to what little leg does show -- flesh-toned for ultimate elongation. She warns, thick ankle straps will break up your legs in an unflattering way, so stick with pumps or strappy sandals.

Flares: Tell Tall Tales With A Stacked Shoe

Flares are the it denim of the year. Worn the right way, they’re super flattering, too! Lifestyle blogger Caroline Juen hit on a genius principle we wish we’d realized sooner: “Flares are great with any open-toed heel or wedge: they give the illusion that your legs are longer because no one can see your whole shoe,” she said. Looks like we’ll be getting leggy in flares all season.

Joggers: Play It Two Ways With Pumps Or Kicks … Or Pumped-Up Kicks

HELMUT LANG Drift Sweatshirt Pants // Nike Flex 2015 RUN // Michael Kors Bardot Heel

Jogger-inspired pants are popping up in silks, leather and denim, making loungewear seem legit. But the slouchy silhouette can come off a little frumpy if you’re not careful. Style blogger Courtney Trop pointed out, “any type of slouchy pant should be worn with a lightweight shoe, something that doesn’t look bulky.” If you keep it light, joggers can truly be dressed up or down. Dittrich recommended high heels for an elevated look, or streamlined sneakers for a casual, sporty take -- we’d venture to try a sneaker wedge.

Slim-Leg Jumpsuit: Let The Piece Shine With Barely-There Heels

Rsvp Embellished Blouson Jumpsuit // Ted Baker Juliennas Heel

Marie Denee, editor-in-chief of The Curvy Fashionista, said that with jumpsuits, the width of the pant leg should dictate the type of shoe you pair with them. While heels, booties or flats may work, the key is to make sure they allow the pant leg to drape. With a tapered leg like this one, you’d want to opt for a thin-strap heel that won’t interfere with your leg line. For a wider pant, defer to advice on flare-leg jeans, above.

Midi Skirts: Anything Goes

Catherine Malandrino Matilde Skirt // Vans Authentic™ in Prism Pink // Kurt Geiger Isabella Heel

“I think anything goes when it comes to midi length skirts & dresses,” Trop said. The midi skirt is a chameleon of sorts; styled correctly, it looks just as awesome with a dainty heel as it does a skateboard shoe. Avoid obscuring any of your calf (with, say, a boot), but otherwise this trend is an opportunity to think a little outside the box.

Cropped Pant: Flats For The Win

ONLY Rita Loose Crop Pants // French Connection Galina Pant

While cropped pants can be paired with a number of shoes, personal stylist and blogger Frédérique Tietchu argued that they look best with flats. “Cropped pants go beautifully with flats,” she said. “They won't alter the initial shape of the pants and they reveal the ankles with class.” It’s a sacred pairing a la Audrey Hepburn that couldn’t be simpler to execute.

Do You Need To Wash New Clothes Before You Wear Them? Here's The Verdict

That dress looks perfect right off the rack, and that crisp button-down shirt is never going to be any brighter or whiter than the moment you buy it. So is it really necessary to go to all of the trouble of washing those brand-new garments before you wear them for the first time?

Kids' Summer Hair Trends: Braids & Buns!

0
0
If you think summer is a season to let your hair down and be done, think again. Girls are getting elaborate and bringing braids and buns to a whole new level.

"The biggest trend straight off the runway is incorporating texture into the hair, whether that's by braiding or adding accessories," says Teychenne Whitley and Jataon co-owners of Milk & Cookies Kids Spa & Salon in New York City, which caters to a pint-sized clientele, 90% of whom are requesting some form of super stylish hairdos, including buns.

Because let's face it. Even during pool season girls want to gussy up, whether it's for a birthday party or because of the influence of a certain plait-filled film like Frozen or a hair-inspiring heroine like Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.

The owners of Milk & Cookies claim that most of these styles below are casual and can be done at home in a snap. Accessories can be anything from a simple bow to the creative use of ribbon, yarn, lace and beads - supplies you could easily score at a local crafts store if you don't already own them.

The bottom line is that while these salon-created looks are fancy at first glance, the goal is still girly and fun. "We don't want the kids to mature too quickly," says Teychenne. "We keep it cute, soft, flowy and innocent,"

LACED-UP HIGH BUN
2015-05-19-1432052345-5988551-Lace2Edit.jpg

Here two cornrow braids (also known as Dutch braids) start to the side of a center part and sweep to the back of the head, leading and tucking into a high chignon.
2015-05-19-1432052418-3443364-Lace3Edit.jpg
A thin pink ribbon is inserted to create a "shoelace-like crisscrossing" between the inner plaits of the cornrows that is wound around the bun for final flair. Best suited for shoulder-length or longer hair.

WATERFALL-KNOT PONYTAIL
"Kids who want to be more daring for day can add color plastic elastics to break up a standard ponytail," states Teychenne, who says the first step to this look is dividing the hair on the crown of the head into four sections and securing with elastics; then, putting the hair into a high ponytail.
2015-05-19-1432052755-9502775-waterfall2.jpg

Now you can stop here, or take it to the next step. As Jataon says: "A ponytail is a ponytail...until you add a fishtail or braid to give it a different look."
2015-05-19-1432052810-3855768-waterfall3.jpg

To create the waterfall, take two small sections of hair from the outer edges of the ponytail (if you have curly hair, straighten with a flat iron first), and gently do a single tie knot, and let the strands hang down. Moving about two inches down the ponytail, repeat this process over and over to create the effect of a cascading waterfall of hair, securing the end with an elastic and bows at top and bottom.
2015-05-19-1432052873-4366857-Waterfall1.jpg

Finish with sparkle hairspray for hold. "Sparkle makes every girl so special," says Teychenne. Best suited for mid-length or longer hair.
2015-05-19-1432052898-5293461-Waterfall4.jpg

CHARMING BEADS
2015-05-19-1432053014-7837749-charms1.jpg

If you ever want a break from super curly hair, sweep it up into a braided chignon, here done off-center for an asymmetrical look. The next step is dotting in colorful beads (which many girls will own as part of jewelry beading kits) using hairpins; it's that simple.

HEART PART
2015-05-19-1432052930-901110-Heart1.jpg

2015-05-19-1432052984-5821562-heart2.jpg

Looking to switch things up? Then try a heart part, here neatly outlined by a cornrow and secured by a braided side ponytail. "Looks with a unique part are increasingly popular!" says Teychenne. "Girls want to be fancy, different and daring and are open to trying new hairstyles."

DOUBLE-TAKE CHIGNON
2015-05-19-1432053074-5739847-Doublebuns1.jpg

Make Princess Leia a little envious with these fancy, ribbon-wrapped cornrows leading to two, braid-wrapped buns! Come September, with the release of the latest Star Wars installment, you better believe this is going to be hot!
2015-05-19-1432053100-2393787-doublebuns2.jpg

The key to creating such neat, tight chignons? Get a spongy bun "donut" at your local hair supply store that acts like a guide. You wrap the hair around it, and it's great for hair with little volume. "It gives you a perfect bun every time," says Teychenne.

SIDE OF LACE
2015-05-19-1432053143-4322184-Lace1.jpg

2015-05-19-1432053170-868973-lace2.jpg

This side-swept style is great for young women with short hair who have a dressy occasion like prom or a wedding to attend. At the nape of the neck, hair is twisted in about five individual sections using styling gel and secured with elastic bands to hold, then secured under a 2-3"-wide lace headband, with the top of the band facing over the left ear. The remaining hair is loosely curled in waves that fall over the bottom of the headband or right ear, and left to hang softly and naturally with no hairspray.

'The Bachelorette' Season 11 Episode 2 Recap: Kaitlyn Bristowe Wins -- And Gives Roses To A Few Losers

It’s 2015. By now, reality TV is a young adult, but it hasn’t grown out of "The Bachelor" franchise. Despite its bizarre dating rituals, low success rate, and questionable racial and gender politics, the stable of shows is, if anything, more popular than ever. Do people love "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," or do they love to hate it? It’s unclear. But here at Here To Make Friends, we both love and love to hate them -- and we love to snarkily dissect each episode in vivid detail.

In this week's second Here To Make Friends podcast (it is a two-part premiere ... thanks, ABC), hosts Claire Fallon, HuffPost culture writer, and Emma Gray, senior editor of HuffPost Women, recap the May 19 episode of "The Bachelorette," Season 11. We'll break down the conclusion of the two-Bachelorette thing, Kaitlyn's taste in men and the slut-shamey, sex talk season highlights. (Also... the return of Nick Viall?!)

Tess Holliday, the size 22 supermodel who was signed to MiLK Model Management in January, has yet another reason to celebrate. She's the cover star of People magazine's 2015 body issue.

people mag

Holliday, who is known for serving up style and self-love on her Instagram account, has had a busy few months. She is the face of Torrid's spring campaign and is responsible for the widely used #effyourbeautystandards hashtag, empowering women to wear whatever they want -- regardless of their shape.

The 29-year-old beauty, who first tried to get into modeling 14 years ago, has encountered her fair share of obstacles. In her interview with People, she explains that not only was she turned down by the industry, she also faced bullying at school.

Still, Holliday pushed forward, and it's that resilience which has led to her success. "I just knew that I could do it," she said. "I wasn't the best, and I still am not the best. The key to it is just doing it."

Head to People.com for more from the interview. The body issue hits newsstands May 22.

What Does Your Hair Color Choice Have to Do With Your Eyes?

0
0
"The eyes are the window to your soul." - William Shakespeare

"Your eyes are sparkling now! I had no idea what your eye color was. I could not easily see your eyes before". This is a very common reaction of friends and family when seeing their loved one for the first time after their hair color has been transformed to one in their optimal color palette. It is always so beautiful to easily see someone's eyes as I do believe they are the window to a person's soul.

Part of my color analysis training included the study of eye patterns. I was fascinated to learn what an individual's eyes can reveal about them. Now a few years later after starring into hundreds of eyes, I am still amazed at how unique everyone's eyes truly are. It is fascinating to me and I personally am a huge fan of doing everything appearance-wise to easily show-off a person's eyes. Eyes hold so much power.

Is your current hair color choice making it difficult for others to see your eyes? Easy and quick ways to find out include:

- Asking someone who does not know you extremely well what your eye color is. If they really have to stare deeply into your eyes to reveal your eye color or if it takes them some time / thought, it is quite possible you are not wearing your most optimal hair color.

- When you look in the mirror or when someone looks at you, are your eyes or their eyes more naturally drawn to look at your hair first before your eyes? This is a sign your hair color is overpowering you.

- When you look in the mirror or when someone looks at you, are you eyes lacking vibrancy or sparkle? This is a sign your hair color choice is overpowering you.

If you don't know your optimal hair color palette, I recommend finding it out before coloring your hair for the first time or making your next hair color appointment. Professionals to seek advice from include a hair colorist with training or experience to help reveal your best colors and / or a color analysis professional.

My wish is that you easily and effortlessly allow those around you to see your eyes and the beautiful window to your soul.

I hope this blog post inspires you to wear your authenticity!

Jared Leto Is Still Trying To Make Fanny Packs Happen

Damn, that fanny pack looks sexy.

No, we're serious.

jared leto

Jared Leto was spotted out and about in New York City this week wearing a muscle tee, neon green hair and yes, a fanny pack. Not only does he still look incredibly hot, but he may be single-handedly bringing back this oft-criticized accessory.

This isn't the actor's first attempt at making fanny packs happen -- he has sported the controversial bag on a number of other occasions, too. Which inevitably makes us wonder: What does he have in there? Moroccan hair oil? A Kangol hat? Extra Manic Panic hair dye? His Tamagotchi? Your guess is as good as ours.

4 Tricks To Help You Go Gray Effortlessly And Confidently

0
0
Whether you're barely 30 years old or well into your 60s, growing gray hair is a part of life. While many women choose to cover up their silver strands, it can be quite empowering to ditch the dye and go gray naturally.

But with parts of your hair seemingly going grey faster than others, what's the best way to go grey naturally? We asked Giovanni Vaccaro, the creative director of on-demand beauty service GlamSquad, for styling tips and tricks that will help anyone embrace silver strands with fierceness.

1. Get a new haircut.

Instead of reaching for the tweezers to pluck your gray hair, Vaccaro suggests liberating yourself with a haircut. "When choosing an ideal cut and style, you should be more focused on your face shape than your hair color," he says. But if you're looking for a big change, why not go all out with a short crop.

2. Try balayage.

This "hair painting" technique is a low-maintenance way to grow out your gray hairs without having to sacrifice length, according to Vaccaro. Your colorist can create a natural look by using a brush to "sweep" on other colors that will help blend your grays, from the root to the ends.

3. Intensify shine and lock in moisture with the right haircare products.

For white grays... Vaccaro recommends violet shampoos like Pravana Pure Light Sulfate-Free Brightening Shampoo to give you a brighter white and neutralize the brassy, yellow tones.

For silver grays... focus on hydrating. "Silver hair is more likely to be coarse and dry so it needs more moisture," says Vaccaro. "Masque Densité by Kérastase is a high-moisture treatment that helps restore resiliency and shine to graying hair."

4. Switch up your makeup.

Wearing dark, smokey eye makeup and red lipstick with gray hair can make your complexion appear dull and washed out. To accentuate your grays and warm up you skin, add a pop of color with rosy blushes and pink lip colors. And you can't go wrong with neutral eyeshadows in navy, plum or taupe to brighten up your eyes.

The singer released the lyric video for the new song on Tuesday, which is Aguilera's reimagining of the opening song from Broadway musical "Finding Neverland." Matthew Morrison of "Glee" sings the original song in the stage production, which follows the story of author J.M. Barrie, the man behind Peter Pan.

Aguilera is just one of the many musical names contributing to the Broadway show's concept album. "Finding Neverland the Album" also features music from Zendaya, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and Trey Songz, Nick Jonas, and more. The album comes out on June 9.

Model Ashley Graham's New Lingerie Line Is Inspired By 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'

Major congratulations are in order for model Ashley Graham.

After five seasons designing lingerie for Addition Elle, a Canada-based plus-size retailer, Graham will finally release her lingerie line in the United States, according to Women's Wear Daily. Her newest collection, which is inspired by "Fifty Shades Of Grey," includes four bras with bondage-inspired removable straps and lace details, four styles of underwear, a chemise and a kimono, and will be sold on Nordstrom.com as well as two of the store's locations. Prices range from $30 for underwear to $95 for the chemise and kimono.

ashley graham

The model and body activist, who has covered fashion magazines and starred in a slew of campaigns, is a pioneer in the fight to change standards of beauty. The conversation has already begun, thanks largely in part to the work Graham and her colleagues have done to create the plus-size model group ALDA. However, the lack of fashionable options for women of all sizes thus far prevents the shift from becoming a reality. Graham's line is another step in the right direction toward inclusiveness.

When it came to choosing a retailer, the opportunity was a good one for both Nordstrom and Addition Elle. "We currently carry several brands that offer plus sizes in their range, but very few focus solely on serving the plus-size customer," said Kristin Frossmo, Nordstrom's vice president, in a conversation with WWD.

Here's hoping more retailers follow Nordstrom's lead. Head to Addition Elle to see more from Ashley's collection, and be sure to check out the line when it hits Nordstrom.

11 Party Mistakes That Almost Every Host Makes

0
0
Maybe it's your birthday. Maybe your godson is graduating from college. Maybe it's a Saturday night and your name is Emily Gilmore. Maybe it's a Thursday night and you're the Entertainment Chair of your fraternity. But for whatever reason, you're throwing a party. The invitations have gone out, and you've figured out the lighting, decor and music.

But you also need to figure out the food and beverage situation. You're entering perilous waters, full of rocky shoals and hungry sea monsters. But don't worry: HuffPost is here. We've identified 11 common food-and-drink mistakes that party hosts make all the time. As long as you avoid these snafus, you'll be just fine. You'll throw a great party, and all your friends will love you forever, and all your enemies will rue the day they crossed you.

Mistake #1: Not Having Enough Ice

This is the most common mistake party hosts make, which is frustrating because it's really cheap and easy to rectify and ice is SUPER IMPORTANT. If you have ice, you can make pretty much any simple mixed drink taste good: cold and dilution can make even straight whiskey or tequila palatable. But without ice, you can't really make any mixed drink taste good. (Except, I suppose, a hot toddy?) The dozen ice cubes that have been collecting dust in your ice trays for a week won't cut it. When you throw a party, buy some bags of ice. More than you think you'll need. It's better to have leftovers -- which keep pretty much forever -- than to run out halfway through the night.

Mistake #2: Not Having Enough Cups

This is almost as bad as, and even easier to fix than, not having enough ice. But I also understand it: You might think you should buy as many cups as there will be guests, plus maybe 20 percent for people who lose theirs. But the truth is that a good party will be so chaotic that many guests are likely to go through not one or two, but easily three or four cups. So buy a ton! Just be sure to recycle them the next day, or, better yet, wash and reuse them.

Mistake #3: Having Too Low A Ratio Of Mixers-To-Liquor

Here's a common sight: You walk into a party, you go to the makeshift bar the host has set up on some credenza in their living room, and you see exactly as many bottles of juice or soda as there are bottles of liquor. This is wrong. Those mixers will run out. You should always provide at least three times as much mixer as liquor. Especially because there are bound to be some people who won't want to drink alcohol, or much alcohol, and will want cups of plain Diet Coke or cranberry juice.

Mistake #4: Serving Drinks That Are Too Fussy

mixologist

This is, in some sense, the inverse of the first three mistakes. It comes from a noble place in the heart of a party host -- the desire to serve delicious beverages. But it, too, is a mistake. Fussy drinks take a long time to make, which can create bottlenecks of sobriety at the party, especially if a bunch of guests arrive at the same time. And it forces the host to focus on mixology rather than talking to their guests and having fun. If you're insistent on serving a fantastic, elaborate drink, make it a punch that you can mix one huge batch of in advance: My favorite is the Original Chatham Artillery Punch. It's never been anything less than a smash hit when I've made it for a group.

Mistake #5: Not Serving Food

You don't have to feed everyone at your party a full dinner. Certainly not. You don't have to serve delicious food. (Though it helps.) But if you are serving alcohol, you must provide something to eat. Chips and salsa, olives or a bowl of nuts, at least. Otherwise, people will get wasted far more quickly than you want them to -- or, just as bad, they'll leave when they get peckish.

Mistake #6: Serving Messy Food
messy food

On balance, serving messy food may actually be worse than serving no food. Nothing ruins a party like getting sloppy joe meat all over your nice shirt.

Mistake #7: Serving Clichéd Party Food

You wanna see someone's eyes roll back all the way into their head? Invite me to a party and serve one of two kinds of food: a grape-and-cheese plate or a crudité platter, the pre-fab kind that comes from Costco. It's lazy, boring and totally basic. I'd prefer a bowl of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. This is, I admit, better than no food at all -- but only by a hair.

Mistake #8: Putting All The Food And Drink In One Place

A subtle mistake that has consigned countless parties to failure. Here's why: If you put the beer, the liquor, the Cheetos and the cake all on one table, or, God forbid, in your narrow kitchen, all your guests are going to congregate there. That's a recipe for heat, discomfort, accidental pushing and early departures. Instead, if you have any space at all, spread the different types of comestibles throughout your home. That way, your guests will be forced to move around the party all night, and thereby be thrust into all sorts of the random encounters that are the lifeblood of a proper party.

Mistake #9: Not Accounting For Dietary Restrictions

gwyneth paltrow

If you have no dietary restrictions whatsoever, it's easy to be annoyed by them, or even to forget that they exist. But when you're throwing a party, you have to think about them. Because if you don't, you run the risk of having multiple people feel uncomfortable, hungry and sad at your party. You should be safe as long as you have options for people who are vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free. That's not particularly difficult: get some wine for the gluten-free people to drink instead of beer, and serve some pita and hummus, or other meatless snack, alongside your platter of prosciutto and foie gras terrine. Easy peasy.

Mistake #10: Not Making The Menu Personal

This one's a little nebulous, and related to the injunction against clichéd party foods. But the idea is that if you're throwing a party, it should feel like your party. Not your mom's party or your friend's party or a party you saw on Pinterest. Some of this work can and should be done through decor, but food and drink with personal significance can be great too. So if you just moved back to Chicago after spending four years in San Diego, get some craft beer from that great San Diego brewery you toured! Or if you're known as an obsessive "Breaking Bad" fan, serve some meth-inspired blue drinks! Bake some of your trademark blondies!

Mistake #11: Not Serving Jell-O Shots

jello shots

I've saved the most important rule of party-throwing for last: Always serve Jell-O Shots. Preferably in a piñata .

Groom's Compassionate Wedding Dance With His Mom Will Move You To Tears

At his wedding, groom Luke Rheault had planned to do a special mother-son dance with his mom Rebekah, who had been diagnosed with ALS a year before the nuptials.

Once the song, "Hero" by Mariah Carey, started playing, Luke said something felt off. His mom was sitting in her wheelchair and Luke was towering over her. So he did something unexpected and sweet and got down on his knees for the duration of the dance.

"I remember feeling uncomfortable standing above her for the first few moments of the dance -- it just didn't feel normal, and that's when I got down on my knees and danced with her," Luke told The Huffington Post. "I had no idea of the impact it had on everyone until they had told me."

"I wanted her to feel so special in that very moment, so I tried to make the best of it and spin her around and continue smiling with her," Luke added. "I don't recall at any point in the wedding thinking that these might be my last few moments with my mother. So I did what felt right at the time, and I'm really glad I did because it's a memory that has well-served its purpose."

Luke and his wife Kristeena tied the knot in November 2008 at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. But it wasn't until March 2015 that the bride decided to post the heartbreakingly beautiful video to YouTube.

Sadly, Rebekah died in September 2009 -- less than a year after she and her son shared their dance.

"There was not a dry eye in the house, everyone was so touched by the dance," the bride Kristeena told HuffPost. "The tears started as soon as Luke dropped down to his knees to dance with her. You can see Luke's daughter Arianna in the background crying and hugging my mother and then Luke's father."

It wasn't until Wednesday that Luke watched the dance in its entirety for the first time. He said it's brought on a wave of emotion and many wonderful memories.

"I found myself reliving all that this woman did for me -- everything that she embodied as a mother and everything she taught me to be," he said. "I tell it to everyone: 'It's a void that can never be filled.' I've never considered myself to be a mama's boy, but I've always appreciated everything she has done for me. Growing up and getting older enhances the power of those feelings."

Model Janice Dickinson Sues Bill Cosby For Defamation Over Rape Claims

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Model Janice Dickinson sued Bill Cosby for defamation on Wednesday over denials made by the comedian's representatives after she accused him last year of raping her in 1982.

Dickinson's lawsuit seeks unspecified damages on defamation, false light and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims. The suit states Dickinson has been re-victimized and her reputation has suffered because of pointed denials by Cosby's attorney that the comedian drugged and raped her in a Lake Tahoe, California, hotel room more than 30 years ago. The allegations were first made in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" after numerous other women accused Cosby of drugging them and inappropriate sexual conduct dating back several decades.

The lawsuit states Dickinson, 60, sought a retraction of the denials from Cosby, but the request was denied.

An email sent to Cosby's attorney Martin Singer was not immediately returned. Singer called Dickinson's rape allegations "false and outlandish" in a letter to The Associated Press last year.

The lawsuit details Dickinson's allegations that Cosby raped her after giving her wine and a pill in the hotel room, and how she wanted to go public with her story in a 2002 autobiography but was prevented from doing so by the book's publisher.

She did not report the incident to police in the early 1980s out of fear of retaliation by Cosby, her lawsuit states. The statute of limitations to criminally prosecute the actor-comedian has long since passed, as has the statute on civil claims directly related to the incident.

"This is Janice Dickinson's chance for justice," her attorney Lisa Bloom said Wednesday.

Three women who have accused Cosby of abuse have sued him for defamation in a Massachusetts federal court.

One of the women, Therese Serignese, said after a court hearing earlier this month that she wanted her reputation restored after Cosby's camp branded her a liar.

Dickinson's lawsuit is seeking a similar outcome.

"Cosby knows that he drugged and raped Ms. Dickinson," the lawsuit states. "He knew that calling her rape disclosure a lie was a false statement."

"Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel stepped out with a brand new hairstyle Wednesday. The 44-year-old posted a photo to her Instagram account of a much shorter 'do than we're used to seeing on her. She also lightened her locks to a reddish-brown color, captioning the photo "go shawty! #TheBIsBack."

The founder of Skinnygirl, who debuted the look at a cocktail viewing party for the brand, told The Huffington Post that being in a new place in her life is what pushed her to change it up. "I've wanted short hair for decades since I had it in high school but no hairdresser would do it for me. Finally I just said cut it off. I was so sick of hiding behind my hair. I felt dated and boring and wanted to do something that reflects where I am in my life. I'm coming out on the other side and I'm doing it my way. The B is back," she said.

Khloe Kardashian Shares Sexy Behind-The-Scenes Bodysuit Pic

We can't get over how gorgeous Khloe Kardashian has been looking lately.

While we're loving her brighter, blonder hair, we also love how confident she seems. On Wednesday, the 30-year-old shared a behind-the-scenes photo from her latest shoot, and all we can say is wow.

"Photo shoot day with @1maryphillips and @cesar4styles!!!!! Such a fantastic day!!! @monicarosestyle you killed every single look!!!!!! ❤️ I'm so lucky to have such incredible people surrounding me!!," the reality star captioned the rather sexy photo, in which she's wearing a high-cut grey Adidas bodysuit.

Part of Kardashian's newfound confidence seems to come from her total body transformation courtesy of hundreds of hours totally sweating it out in the gym, which she also documented on Instagram:

Looking back at pictures of myself I didn't realize at the time how unhealthy my lifestyle actually was. People love to call me the fat one but as weird as it sounds I still don't think I would consider myself fat back then. Definitely overweight and unhealthy, yes. About two years ago I decided to turn to fitness as a form of therapy and as a stress reliever. I started slow and eventually I started working out 4 to 5 days a week. We all have to start somewhere and doing something is better than nothing at all. Start small so you don't get discouraged and give up. Remember it is all about consistency. There are no quick fixes if you want long-term results. Working out is a huge part of my life now. I genuinely enjoy sweating out my frustrations and living a healthier life. My workouts are not all about vanity. They are about clarity for my mind and soul. We all have different journeys in life, make sure your journey is for you and you alone. Remember in the end the turtle won the race. Slow and steady. dedication and tenacity.
