The Easiest Way To Cover Up Tan Lines and a Splotchy Chest

$
0
0
Alright ladies, this is the one trick you need to know when it comes to completing your beach-babe look in the summer. We put bronzer on our faces to help enhance and define our features, so why stop there? We have all had that dress that may not hold our girls in the best way but is too good everywhere else not to wear, or you might have tan lines that clash with your attire from too much fun in the sun, or maybe if you're like me, you tend to get flushed after the first sip of anything alcoholic, but are not staying away from the margs this time around! Good news: you already own what you need to brush up your décolleté, and you can get this done in a matter of minutes!

2015-07-20-1437436145-5629855-tanner7.jpg

STEP 1: APPLY FOUNDATION

2015-07-20-1437436177-6510211-tanner1.jpg

Use a flat foundation brush or beauty sponge to apply a thin layer of foundation (you can just use the same foundation that you use on your face) to any exposed skin that is above your dress line. The objective is not to use a ton of foundation here, just a small amount to tap into your skin to help even out the tone as well as provide a base for your bronzer powder to adhere to later. If you have tan lines, then you can go a little heavier with the coverage to help conceal and blend them in with your skin.

STEP 2: BRONZER UP!

2015-07-20-1437436210-9909285-tanner2.jpg

Normally when you bronze your face, it is best to pull the bronzer down onto your neck to help blend. This is a continuation of that step. From your neck, continue bronzing your upper chest area onto the tops of your shoulders. This is going to help to start that sun-kissed glow that you may be lacking, or will help blend in any tan lines that you may have from being in the sun too long.

STEP 3: DON'T FORGET YOUR ARMS!

2015-07-20-1437436237-6690967-tanner3.jpg

Flex those muscles! That's right, this will help show off what you need to bronze up. Remember this bronzer will help create shadows and depth. So applying the bronzer on the inside of where your muscles are will give the illusion that you are more toned in these areas!

STEP 4: AND GIVE THE GIRLS SOME ATTENTION TOO!

2015-07-20-1437436272-8012046-tanner4.jpg

Need better cleavage? Get it immediately. Go ahead and lift your boobs up as if your hand was a really amazing push-up bra (channel your inner Janet Jackson for this, ladies!). On the upper breast, apply a bit of bronzer to create the illusion of a shadow or shelved area. Do this to both of your girls! It is the simplest way to enhance what ya got without having to wear a super padded bra.

2015-07-20-1437436298-926998-tanner5.jpg

Look at the glow!

2015-07-20-1437436318-9365298-tanner6.jpg

Going backless? Have a friend help you apply to your back. You can try this on your legs too if you are wearing a short dress -- just be sure to secure with a setting spray so the powder stays in place! Make sure to blend your product in well so there are no signs of your faux glow.

The Most Beautiful Makeup For Blue Eyes

$
0
0

When we flip through photos of blue-eyed celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift or Miranda Kerr, they're usually wearing the same orange-ish eye makeup. That's because this color, as well as those very close to it, works best for enhancing blue eyes.

According to Sephora Pro makeup artist Amy Suchma, people with blue eyes generally fall into three color categories. There's light blue or "icy blue," with hues of light blue and silver; gray blue, with hues of blue and gray and a bit of green, or even a hint of yellow; and deep blue, with hues of dark and light blue.

Suchma follows the color wheel and color theory to determine which shades make blue eyes pop. "On the color wheel, the most complimentary color for each hue is located directly across from the targeted color," she says. So you can't go wrong with orange.

Before you go all wild with your eyeshadows and eyeliners, scroll down to check out Suchma's illustrations and product recommendations for the best makeup for blue eyes. You'll pick up on the intense orange-brown and coral hues that the makeup artist uses to make light blue and gray blue eyes more vibrant. She employs subtle neutral-browns and soft peach/salmon tones for enhancing deep blue eyes.

Light Blue Eyes

Suchma recommends applying rich, neutral browns and orange-bronze tones to create a smokey eyeshadow look. This will add depth against the lightness of blue eyes for a particularly striking finish. You can easily recreate this look with Urban Decay Smog Eyeshadow, Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow #722 Mandarin, NARS Duo Shadow in Isolde or Sephora Collection Colorful Shadow in #72 Coffee Break. The professional also suggests the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which has all of these shades in one case.

Gray Blue Eyes

Try Make Up For Ever Shadow #734 Tangerine, Kat Von D Monarch Palette or Buxom Single Bar Eyeshadows in It Crowd and Filthy Rich -- all orange-browns and bright orange/coral shades to contrast to bring out the blue tones.

"When using vibrant orange tones, my best advice would be to keep the vibrant color on the upper lid and slightly blend a small amount into the brown on the lower lid," says Suchma. "I found that using the vibrant orange on the lower lid without being supported by the brown can leave the eyes looking tired."

Deep Blue Eyes

A dark brown or navy blue liner is a beautiful enhancement to a blue eye, according to Suchma. "Black liner will make blue eyes appear more gray or silver, which is still beautiful but just not more blue," she says. Balance out the dark eyeliners with peach/salmon shadows like Sephora Collection Colorful Eye Shadow No91 Rio and No50 Cashmere Coat, Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow Palette or Surratt Beauty Artistique Eye Shadow in Poudre.

The One Outfit Sarah Jessica Parker Would Wear For The Rest Of Her Life

For those of you waiting to find out whether Sex and the City 3 is really happening, there's a way you can get your Sarah Jessica Parker fix now -- through Jordache jeans.

The storied and sexy denim brand has teamed up with SJP, making her the new face of both The Jordache Look collection and Jordache's women's collection. Parker isn't the first big star to front the brand -- past celeb models include Heidi Klum and Elizabeth Hurley -- but in the newly released campaign images, the actress holds her own, per usual.

When we picture SJP, we usually remember her in a gown at the Met Gala, but Parker swears that she is a "jeans woman." As she told The Huffington Post, "The truth is, I wear jeans probably more than all my other woman friends," and if she had to wear one outfit for the rest of her life it would be "jeans and a really great gray sweatshirt ... [and] a really fancy necklace and really fancy shoes."

 Well, duh.

While we're all for a great pair of form-fitting jeans, we know that with tight items of clothing come horror stories. We had to ask Parker if she had any of her own, but she said all her struggles involved other items of clothing: "I have stories about dresses that wouldn't unzip or I had to cut them off of me, which was horrible to do, but I was left with no choice at like 2:00 in the morning."

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that SJP never wore skin-tight denim. "You know I didn't wear super tight jeans, I should have, but I missed that opportunity -- I didn't wear bikinis either ... but I should have worn a bikini years ago, damn."

SJP, you can definitely still wear skin-tight jeans and a bikini.

The Jordache Look collection is currently available on Jordache.com and the Jordache women’s collection is currently available on Walmart.com

10 Reasons It's Better To Shop In-Store Rather Than Online

$

0

We love to shop anywhere, any time, any place -- but sometimes, we get so consumed with purchasing things online, we forget how great it can be to physically go into a store.

Don't get us wrong, online shopping can be amazing (you can buy things in your pajamas, hello), but sometimes it's better to get out into the world and see things in real life -- not to mention a few other key takeaways.

Behold, 10 ways in which in-store shopping trumps the online experience:

1.  You know sooner rather than later if the dress you're eyeing is totally sheer.

2.  Shopping in-store can be a fun social event that can bring people closer together.

3. You can take advantage of in-store-only discounts (many student discounts are only available in-store).

4. You can immediately discern the quality of an item.

5. You don't have crazy high credit card bills from ordering 10 leather jackets with the intention of only keeping one.

6.  You can avoid those pesky shipping fees. Many retailers do offer free shipping, but not necessarily free return shipping (for those nine other leather jackets).

7. You can always ask for someone else's opinion on how you look in something.

8. You can try on multiple sizes, so you'll actually go home knowing you found the size that looks the best on you.

9. Many sales associates work for commission, so by physically going to a store, you're helping someone else make a little more cash.

10. You can get your item immediately ... no waiting required.

Makeup Artist Kandee Johnson Transforms Herself Into 4 Kardashians And Its Amazing

Makeup artist Kandee Johnson has definitely outdone herself with her latest transformation.

In a recent video she made for BuzzFeed, the YouTube star transforms herself into not one, but four members of the Kardashian family. And it all happens in under two minutes.

First up is Kylie. Johnson, who's done a makeup tutorial based on the youngest sister in the past, uses a combination of highlighting and contouring to achieve the look, and of course, adds some overdrawn lips. To finish things off, she even throws on a blue-green bob wig.

The celebrity makeup artist then moves onto Kris, which is perhaps the best look in the whole video -- she totally nails it. A little extra contouring here, some highlights there, a black pixie-cut wig and voila!

As Johnson moves onto Kim and Khloe, it's hard not to stay transfixed. Just watch the video and see for yourself. But if we were you, we wouldn't try this at home.

The re-launch of Men's New York Fashion Week brought mixed reviews but ultra diverse model casting

And when it came to the actual Spring 2016 collections, we were impressed by the usual suspects, including Michael Kors, Thom Browne, Timo Weiland, and Public School. Others may be less well-known, but deserve just as much attention. So listen up, fellas: here are nine awesome brands that you'll definitely want to add to your wardrobe.

Check them out below and let us know which ones you're digging.

Ovadia & Sons

Though twin brothers Ariel and Shimon Ovadia have only been around for five years, they've already racked up plenty of accolades, including GQ's Best Menswear Designers award in 2011. The Spring 2016 collection will surely garner praise for the brand's awesome selection of outerwear.

Robert Geller

Here's what you need to know about Geller: He filled his Spring 2016 collection with seaside-cool separates, his designs are a favorite of Kanye West, he was once a member of Marc Jacobs' design team, and he has a great sense of humor

Garciavelez

It's no surprise that Mexico City-born and New York City-based designer Carlos Garciavelez is a trained architect. The simple, sharp designs are perfect for the modern man.

Greg Lauren

Fashion definitely runs in the family for this New York City-based designer -- he's the nephew of legendary fashion designer Ralph Lauren. Customers can expect the same Americana aesthetic but a lot more laid back and rugged.

Tim Coppens

"Athletic luxury portrayed with elegance and sophistication" is how this Belgium-born designer describes his collection. And one look at the beaded, striped sweater below and we totally believe him.

Rochambeau

The design duo of Laurence Chandler and Josh Cooper never disappoint, and their Spring 2016 collection was one of our favorite presentations thanks to the unfussy, minimal looks.

Thaddeus O’Neil

These fun threads might be made in New York City, but O'Neil says they are inspired by surfers, which he affectionately calls "the hobos of the sea."

Loris Diran

If dressing like a sleek, jet-setting gentleman is your aim, then this French-Armenian designer based in New York City is your man. His tailored suiting is superb, but we're also digging his knitwear.

A photo posted by Loris Diran (@lorisdiran) on

Asaf Ganot

While the boxer is Ganot's muse, we don't see anything beat up about his strong, masculine designs. This fashion week he explored the spirit of Brazil and how the country's men exude their singular style.

The Ultimate Chic Mom Baby Gear Wish List

$

It's said that over 300,000 babies are born in the month of July every year, and that number increases in August. Summertime is baby time, and there's a good chance you or somebody you know is either a newly minted mom or about to have her own bundle of joy.

Just the same, it's no surprise that baby gear has become ultra chic and stylish. We're in an era where design and aesthetic has permeated every corner of our world. From the technology we make our mobile phone calls on to the food we purchase at the store, chic is everywhere, and there's no doubt that ultra stylish baby gear has not joined the mix. Products combine function and style, as well as ease of use, intelligent features well-thought out with moms in mind, and especially light weight sizes and more.

What are the hot baby products on every chic mom's wish list? We asked and scouted new parents from across all ages. Here's what's on their list:

1. A heavy duty diaper pail: You think those nappies won't create any odors in the home, but while babies might be small, they certainly hold no punches when it comes to dirty diapers. Today's diaper pails combine design with pure, sheer intelligence: brushed, coated steel, vapor locks and other tight sealing, and require no special bags for use. Our test moms named Ubbi as their favorite must-have, for its color options and chic style. But the classic Diaper Genie was still one moms want.

2. A lightweight, easy to use playpen: Babies love playing and a great playpen keeps little ones safe while allowing them independent play time. Moms let things done around the house, everybody wins. The moms in our group love the Breeze Playyard from 4moms. One swift move opens or shuts it, no directions or effort required. Grab the waterproof sheets to keep its accompanying mattress clean and protected from whatever your little one brings on.

3. A high-rated car seat: Two different car seats came up among the mom group here. While safety and security is the only priority for this baby item, several manufacturers are now incorporating design elements to their products. Uppa Baby's Mesa infant seat ranks high for ease of use, scores high on safety tests and gives double duty as a stroller with addition of the company's adaptors. For older babies, Britax Boulevard or Advocate were on the list. Like many products for babies today, both have the ability to adjust as your child grows.

4. Natural, organic and eco-friendly baby care products: Diapers, wipes and other essentials in natural, organic and eco-friendly materials and ingredients are high on mom priorities today. Everyone loves Honest Company, in part for its easy access -- you'll find products in many stores as well as online. Earth Mama Angel Baby also came up on wish lists from moms here as well.

5. A multi-functional baby carrier: The baby carrier options have exploded in terms of new products, and moms everywhere of all ages are favoring many different types. Natural fabric slings are a common 'it' item, but many of the moms here are gravitating towards carriers that also offer baby support. Baby Bjorn's Baby Carrier One was high on the want-list for its ability to carry a child from newborn to three years, four different carrying options and chic design. Beco's Gemini was a similar favorite for its features and function. Baby Bjorn's also recently introduced infant and baby kitchen items that moms in the group mentioned.

6. Stylish high chairs, bouncers and baby seats: Form and function is also a big one in baby seats and chairs of all kinds. Long gone are the days of the clunky, heavy plastic and metal options many of us had as babies ourselves. Like many of the other products in baby gear today, chairs often adjust as kids grow, or have multi-function features like the ability to convert the bouncer into a high chair, and more. Stokke's Tripp Trap high chair has developed a bit of a cult-like following for its design and function, not to mention it's available in a range of colors like natural wood. The moms here also like the Tiny Love Take Along bouncer and 3-in-1 Rocker. Bumbo's multi-seat was also one that came up frequently as a mom want-item.

7. A stylish baby bag: With so much style and design incorporated into baby gear today, of course the stylish baby bag is also popular. Kate Spade's Stevie bag topped the list for its chic look and function. In fact, one of the moms in our group received hers as a gift from her husband just before their baby was born. Skip Hop's Duo bag, particularly in the fun chevron print, was on a lot of lists as well.

Kenyan Artist Makes Unique Eyewear Out Of Recycled Electronics

An old computer doesn't necessarily inspire most people to get crafty.  Cyrus Kabiru, a visual artist, is not like most people.

The Kenyan sculptor uses recycled material from electronics and other things found on the streets of Nairobi, where he lives, to create funky, intricate glasses that can only be described, as he does, as "afrodazzled."

Kabiru's glasses are not for the faint of heart, utilizing everything from cassette tapes to computer speakers as frames, but they certainly make a big statement -- and  they are eco-friendly.

"The most dangerous waste that will mess up our continents, our places is electronics," he said in a video made by AJ+. "We need to think about how we can stop making more motherboards. We need to recycle them. We need to change our mentality. We need to be creative with what we're doing."

Fashion-forward thinking for the win

Check out the video above, and head to Kabiru's website and tumblr to see more of his work.

The Moving Experience One Mom Had When Her Postpartum Body Photos Went Viral

$

When New Zealand mom and nutritionist Julie Bhosale shared a blog post about her postpartum body image journey, she hoped that it would reach a few fellow mothers in her local community. What she did not anticipate was the viral mania that would follow as her post rapidly spread to parents all over the world.

Bhosale's blog post, "My Real Postpartum Body," features personal photos, inner thoughts and words of support for other moms as she shares the changes her own body underwent after giving birth to her second son in January. She also highlights the pressure on new mothers to just "bounce back" after the physical transformation of pregnancy and rejects those expectations by taking part in January Harshe's #TakeBackPostpartum movement -- a more honest and inclusive trend in discussing post-birth body image.

"I really struggled with all the body changes I went through after the birth of my first son," Bhosale told The Huffington Post. "Working in the health industry, and being an expert, I felt a lot of pressure to get my body back -- and expected that because I was fit and healthy it should be easy. However, this was not the case! It did take a while!"

"I also really struggled to breastfeed my son and so my confidence in myself and as a woman and a mum was really low," she continued. "I thought if this is how I feel with all my expert nutrition knowledge, imagine how other mums must also feel?" So, after giving birth to her second son, the mom decided to share her postpartum journey with other parents. "I thought it may help just one mum not feel so alone," she said.

The post reached far more than just one mother. Shared across news sites and social media platforms, "My Real Postpartum Body" empowered a global audience, which Bhosale says has been a very "moving" experience. "I am touched and often have tears in my eyes reading all the comments, messages, feedback and sharing of the blog. I stay up late at night reading them all (and replying)."

Just four months away from completing her doctorate, the nutritionist and mom feels truly inspired to help new parents. "I really hope that mums who read this truly know how beautiful, incredible and amazing they are -- for all they have gone through, are going through and the sacrifices made every single day," she said, adding, "I hope to empower mums to take time to recover and to nourish from the inside out -- with both good food and love."

'Not Charity, Just Work': An Interview with the Ethical Fashion Initiative's Simone Cipriani

2015-07-22-1437567839-9845411-MaXhosabyLadumaSS16ConstellationAfricaPittixEFIPittiImmagineGiovanniGiannoni1.jpg The most impressive show at this June's Pitti Uomo collections in Florence was a presentation titled "Constellation Africa". Parading down the runway were some of the best menswear looks I've seen in a long time, not just because the designs were perfectly wearable by men all over the world, but also imaginative, well made and fun beyond belief.

Behind this wonder of wax print tailored suits, traditional South African knits reinvented (see left, by MaXhosa by Laduma) and organic good looks from the continent we all most probably find our roots in, lies the ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative. And at the head of this vital organization is its founder, Simone Cipriani.

Think of the Ethical Fashion Initiative as the operational arm of the ITC's Poor Communities Trade Programme, which is a joint agency of the UN and the WTO. But that's just a whole lot of titles to try and describe the basic concept at its core: Helping humanity.

In the last couple of months, the way I shop has been revolutionized by a life-altering documentary I watched at the Festival de Cannes. Gone are my days of going to Zara and H&M to buy aimlessly, only to watch those cheap purchases sit in my closet, untouched. I now look at point of origin, and study designers' backgrounds to find out if what I am planning to buy has a conscience. Because if we hurt any of us in this world, we are hurting all of us in the end.

The Ethical Fashion Initiative encourages working cooperations between well-established designers and craftsmen and women in Africa and Haiti. The results can be magical, such as when personal favorites Sass & Bide went to Kenya in 2013 to create part of their collection, shown in the video below. Add in Marni, Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney, to name a few, and the mix becomes just the right amount of glamour and ethics to keep this fashionista happy.

I caught up with Simone Cipriani via email. He inspired me to find out more about his great initiative, through his class and kindness. As a lovely aside, Cipriani himself sent me an email thanking me for the piece I wrote back in June, highlighting "Constellation Africa" at Pitti Uomo. And that's what I mean by Class, with a capital "C".

Mr. Cipriani, what was the instant when you knew creating great fashion that also helped the less fortunate of this world was what you were meant to do?

Simone Cipriani: It happened when I saw the disasters of applying the mass production paradigm to a reality based on artisanal production and a social setting that is very different from what you find in Asia; big factories that risked spawning exploitation instead of providing jobs that bring a positive change in the lives of people. In the meanwhile, artisans where deprived of their market and of the possibility to use their skills. Margins are so low in mass-produced fashion goods that there were no real possibilities for artisans to engage.

When we (EFI) produced our first collection, for an Italian brand, it was an eye-opening experience. We were able to get artisans engaged in dignified work! This because the brand in question had margins that allowed us to work with artisans.

How long have you been involved in this "movement" -- ethical fashion -- which today has quite a few celebrity supporters?

Cipriani: Since 2007

How did the idea come about to make those beautiful, touching videos created by ITC with the slogan "Not charity. Just work" which introduce the world to the wide spectrum of ethical fashion associations that are possible, and necessary?

Cipriani: To establish a dialogue with consumers and brands. Consumers needed to realize it was not a charity that was asking them to buy, but a fashion brand based on pure work. We wanted consumers to realize that one can do good, simply by promoting equitable working conditions.

I loved your quote in one of the videos produced by EFI, equating Italian fashion, at its purest, to fashion coming from Africa today. You said that at its start, Italian fashion was about "artisanal production, slow movement and quality." Do you think we've lost some of that these days, with all the fast fashion the market is flooded with?

2015-07-22-1437567887-6151924-SimoneCiprianiHeadofEthicalFashionInitiativecTrevorStuurman.jpgCipriani: Indeed, I believe we lost a lot of it. Mass production and 'masstige' have endangered the survival of artisans everywhere. Italy used to be (and thanks God still is, to some extent) the product development base in the world of fashion. If you wanted to work in fashion, it was a place where you had to go. By gradually killing artisanal skills -- in order to industrialize production and increase profit margins -- we endangered this position. Wherever artisans are put aside, the society becomes poorer.

Is a strong, self sustainable African fashion industry possible? In how many years from now? And what will be the key points needed to make that possible?

Cipriani: Today, we have the phenomenon of global Afro-Politanism. This global African identity is not only confined to African markets, but also to global fashion. This has enabled several African brands to start selling on a larger scale outside and inside Africa (where the fashion market is currently booming). Nevertheless, to have a self-sustaining industry, we still need to work and invest in infrastructure for product development and production, to enable brands to compete at an international level. Many materials are still scarcely available in Africa, even the most basic ones. Just as an example, we (EFI) make shoes in Africa, and for this, we need to import threads, insoles, lasts etc.

What are your thoughts on African fabrics and materials becoming commonplace, part of the everyday clothes we wear? Could a wax print ever be as popular as a tweed, for example?

Cipriani: As I said before, this is the result of Afro-Politanism. More than a wax -- which is often produced outside Africa -- I think materials like bogolan (as an example) can become a sort of African tweed.

After the African continent, where is the next frontier for helping our fellow human beings through the wearable choices we make?

Cipriani: In terms of where we work, we have small projects in Haiti and in South Asia. The next frontier for helping... By shopping responsibly, by always asking to know the story behind products, one can improve the lives of a mountain of people all over the world. Even in Europe, even in Italy.

What do you feel is your greatest achievement at ITC? And your one regret?

Cipriani: The greatest achievement is the development of a global movement on ethical fashion. When we started we were almost alone, apart from some NGOs whose work was irrelevant in terms of market influence.

The biggest regret... To have lost the first small cooperative we created and supported in Kenya. It disintegrated and its members continue to work with the skills they acquired, but independently and on a small scale. Work is about people. Every single person lost is a blow and a regret.

Kim Kardashian Hilariously Inserted Herself Into Nicki Minaj And Taylor Swift's VMAs Twitter Fight

After Taylor Swift needlessly dragged herself into Nicki Minaj's beef with MTV over her lack of VMA nominations, Kim Kardashian (accidentally?) inserted herself into the conversation, as well.

In the middle of Minaj expertly shutting Swift down, explaining none of her tweets were directed at the "Bad Blood" singer, Kardashian tweeted and then quickly deleted a snap from her latest photo shoot with the well-timed caption, "Imma let you finish but..."

Of course, that's a now infamous reference to what Kardashian's husband Kanye West said when he interrupted Swift's speech after she won Best Female Video at the 2009 VMAs.

Kardashian deleted the photo, which was also posted on Instagram, and went on to claim it was all just a funny coincidence:

We're not sure if we're really buying that such a coincidence could occur the way the reality star claims, but it's not like she was the only celebrity to chime in.

Bruno Mars, who is nominated for four awards at the VMAs including Video of the Year for "Uptown Funk," saw Swift and Minaj go at it and knew what he had to do:

Meanwhile, former "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul had a sweet, if, ultimately naive solution:

Neither Swift nor Minaj has taken him up on the offer at this time.

Eva Longoria Wishes She Still Had Her 20-Year-Old Body

Eva Longoria is basically ageless, but even she admits she'd rather have her 20-year-old body.

The actress, who was in Sydney to judge Specsavers Spectacle Wearer Of The Year 2015, spoke to the Daily Mail Australia about aging and enjoying life

"Let me tell you," she said. "I love my 40s -- I want my 20-year-old body -- but I love my 40s."

The comment struck us as strange, considering Longoria looks amazing just the say she is (like we said: ageless). And these days, it seems way more common for celebs, especially females, to proclaim how comfortable they are with their bodies (which is great, don't get us wrong, but we know it's not always easy to be that confident).

We're not the only ones who think the "Desperate Housewives" star is gorgeous -- the actress has topped countless hot lists -- but we can't be mad at her for being honest. Because, let's face it, we've all wished for our younger bodies at some point or other. We're human, and so is she.

But, for reference, here is Longoria in her 20s:

And here she is today, at 40, looking sexy and amazing as ever:

The former soap star continued, "When you get older, you appreciate every moment. I know I love my 40s way more than my 20s, I'm just appreciating every moment more."
