The Most Outrageous Looks From The iHeartRadio Awards Red Carpet

Talk about “belting it out.”

Halsey’s all-yellow-everything look at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in California on Sunday night was essentially just pants, a jacket and a strategically-placed belt. Thus, it earned our top spot for most outrageous look of the evening.

Miley Cyrus, a mainstay in our wildest looks roundups, surprisingly did not make the cut with the “I love Noah” T-shirt she wore to support her sister at the event.

Noah, on the other hand, landed a spot thanks to a see-through mini dress and unbelievably high platforms, while Katy Perry showed off her new cropped haircut in a surprise jumpsuit.

It was a fun ― if not necessarily the most high-fashion ― red carpet we’ve seen in a long time. Check out more of our picks for most outrageous outfits below.

Balenciaga's Ginormous Tote Bag Will Hold All Your Earthly Possessions

You know those teeny, tiny bags that are super impractical and hold little more than a lipstick and keys?

These are not those bags.

Balenciaga’s fall/winter 2017 collection, which showed at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, came complete with the comically huge tote bags of our dreams.

Imagine never having to pack a separate gym bag again. Or getting all your laundry to the laundromat in one shot. Or the look on the cashier’s face at your local supermarket when you’re about to fit an entire week’s full of groceries inside.

The possibilities are endless, really.

Of course, being that these are not regular totes but Balenciaga totes, we have a feeling the price tag alone might negate their utter practicality and must-have-ness.

Still, we can’t help but fantasize about toting around all of our clutter in one place. Sorry, Marie Kondo

Chrissy Teigen Wrote A Moving Essay About Having Postpartum Depression

Chrissy Teigen is Glamour magazine’s April cover girl, and she’s taking the opportunity to open up about an important topic: postpartum depression.

In an essay, Teigen wrote that no one had ever told her, “I have postpartum depression.” Because of this lack of conversation, she never expected to experience it after welcoming her daughter Luna with husband John Legend last April. After months of pain, though, she finally got her diagnosis.

Teigen opened up about her “wonderful, energetic pregnancy” and the way the team at “Lip Sync Battle,” the celeb-filled show that she hosts, helped her and Luna by adding a nursery to her dressing room, lowering the noise and giving Teigen plenty of pump breaks. She has “a great life” with help from her husband, mother and a nanny, which kept Teigen from talking about how she really felt.

“I also just didn’t think it could happen to me,” she wrote. “I have a great life. I have all the help I could need: John, my mother (who lives with us), a nanny. But postpartum does not discriminate. I couldn’t control it.”

Teigen detailed her bouts of “spontaneous crying” and explained how her “bones hurt to the core.” She slept on the couch often and frequently felt nauseated. It wasn’t until she went in for a physical that she found out what was causing her pain.

I looked at my doctor, and my eyes welled up because I was so tired of being in pain. Of sleeping on the couch. Of waking up throughout the night. Of throwing up. Of taking things out on the wrong people. Of not enjoying life. Of not seeing my friends. Of not having the energy to take my baby for a stroll. My doctor pulled out a book and started listing symptoms. And I was like, “Yep, yep, yep.” I got my diagnosis: postpartum depression and anxiety.

Teigen wrote that she began taking an antidepressant and that she plans on seeing a therapist. She also started being open about her diagnosis with her friends and family, and now with many more people. Since Glamour published the essay online, moms have shown their appreciation for Teigen and her openness about postpartum depression and mental health.

In her essay, Teigen pointed out how many moms don’t have the help or access to medical care they need and wrote about the intense admiration she has for all mothers.

“I look around every day and I don’t know how people do it,” she wrote. “I’ve never had more respect for mothers, especially mothers with postpartum depression.”

Read Teigen’s essay in full on Glamour. The magazine’s April issue is on newsstands March 14.

Prince Harry Makes Rare Appearance With Girlfriend Meghan Markle At Jamaican Wedding

Sound the alarm!

Prince Harry has been spotted out with his girlfriend, “Suits” actress Meghan Markle, at a wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica over this past weekend. This marks the first time the couple has attended a semi-public event together, according to People.

“Harry and Meghan seem very much in love,” a source told People. Prince Harry served as an usher at his friends’ vows.

Markle wore a long, flowery dress at the tropical location. As Carson Daly of NBC News pointed out, she was also wearing a $6,300 Cartier “Love” bracelet, which is apparently new.

“The bracelet is considered to be a symbol of love and commitment,” Daly said. Let the engagement rumors begin!

Prince Harry and Markle began dating around May 2016 after meeting each other in Canada. The two were first publicly seen together in December of that year.

This New 'Lollipop Lipstick' Trend Just Looks Like A Terrible Mistake

$

Applying lipstick is like coloring in the lines. With a little bit of practice and some concentration, it’s easy to master the perfect pout.

But according to a new lipstick trend making its way through the makeup world, a pristine lip is so yesterday. Now, it’s all about “lollipop lips.”

Buzzfeed, the first to point out the crazy new fad, defines the look as “intentional lipstick smudging on the outside of the lips,” similar to what your makeup would look like after licking a lollipop. MAC cosmetics pioneered the look at the Preen By Thornton Bregazzi London Fashion Week show.

It’s something, alright:

We would kill our friends if they ever let us walk around like this, with our lipstick all over our face. A lot of people on Twitter had the same reaction:

Good luck trying to wear this in public! It also seems like the wayward makeup would probably clog up your pores.

Another bad makeup trend that recently popped up (and is guaranteed to clog your pores) is athleisure makeup. Designed to be worn before, during and after the gym, dermatologists told The Huffington Post that this makeup is a no-go for good skin.

“I’m not a big fan,” Angela Lamb, director of the Westside Mount Sinai Dermatology Faculty Practice, director of dermatology at the Institute of Family Health and an assistant dermatology professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai told HuffPost in a previous article. “It is best to wash your face before workouts and have a clean face. This will prevent buildup and clogging of the pores that can happen when you mix makeup with sweat.”

Say it with us now: no lollipop lips and no athleisure makeup!

A Reporter In Heels Just Ran The Most Impressive 40 At NFL Combine

She’s fast and fashionable.

Tori Petry, a reporter for the Detroit Lions’ website, ran a 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in 5.98 seconds ... in heels.

OK, so her time doesn’t rival John Ross’s new record of 4.22 (watch above) but it is outstanding given her footwear.

Perhaps Petry’s feat, accomplished Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, will take the heat off Bryce Dallas Howard. The actress was mocked for trying to run from dinosaurs while she wore heels in 2015’s “Jurassic World.”

According to For The Win, Petry beat the time of 2011 combine participant Isaiah Thompson, a former University of Houston offensive lineman who clocked 6.06.

Looks like Petry has a quick wit, too.

Emma Watson Oils Her Pubes And Isn't Afraid To Talk About It

Emma Watson devotes her care to many causes, including the hair down there.

The red carpet stunner recently shared her beauty routine with Into the Gloss, revealing one very curious product as a go-to.

“...I use Fur Oil,” Watson told Into the Gloss. “I’ll use that anywhere from the ends of my hair to my eyebrows to my pubic hair. It’s an amazing all-purpose product.”

Fur Oil is an all-natural blend of grape seed, jojoba, tea tree and clary sage seed oils that claims to soften pubes and banish ingrown hairs. Users say it “softens hair instantly” and recommend daily use for best results, though of course you don’t have to do anything at all to your pubic hair ― the choice is yours! The concoction was included in Goop’s holiday gift guide and retails at $39 a bottle, or roughly a six-month supply.

Old-school beauty pros recommend using a moisturizing shave cream and sharp razor to prevent ingrown hairs while shaving, then applying aloe vera or coconut oil as a follow-up.

But hey, whatever floats your boat!

Donald Trump's Hair Finally Surrenders To The Wind, And Twitter Loses It

Donald Trump’s hair has battled the wind before, but it has never lost as bigly as this.

Deadspin editor Timothy Burke recently tweeted a “mesmerizing” video of the president boarding Air Force One in the wind. Trump’s mane was more unruly than usual:

Followers were quick to respond with all sorts of commentary.

Trump takes a small dose of hair-loss drugs daily, according to his doctor. His fluffy coiffure has inspired both the name of a new moth species and late-night TV bits. Wind and rain are its biggest enemies.

Here’s hoping for better weather next time.

At Sunday night’s iHeart Radio Awards red carpet, the stars showed up in some outrageous outfits. Katy Perry rocked a funky jumpsuit, chandelier earrings and her new cropped haircut, and also brought along an unlikely accessory ― quinoa.

Yep, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer actually lived out your worst nightmare and showed up with food in her teeth in front of hundreds of photographers. Perry pointed out her hilarious misstep on Instagram.

“Currently taking applications for real friends who aren’t afraid to tell me there’s quinoa in my teeth,” Perry wrote.

WHOOPS.

No word yet on whether the quinoa was still there when she opened the show.

If she hadn’t pointed it out, we’re not sure if we would’ve noticed it:

Moral of this story? ALWAYS tell your family, friends and even strangers if they have anything in their teeth. Especially if they’re about to be photographed thousands of times.

'Moonlight' Actor Trevante Rhodes On Oscar Flub And Calvin Klein Ad Reactions

$

Trevante Rhodes says “there’s no better moment than right now” for his burgeoning acting career.

Since the release of “Moonlight” last October, the 27-year-old Louisiana native has earned praises and award recognition for his breakout role as Black, the adult portrayal of the film’s protagonist, Chiron, who struggles with growing up in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood.

After the movie’s Golden Globe win for Best Motion Picture, Drama, and Oscar win for Best Picture, Rhodes is now focused on repeating his success with upcoming roles in Netflix’s college-hazing drama “Burning Sands” and in “The Predator,” a sequel to the 1987 sci-fi film.

On the heels of the DVD release of “Moonlight,” Rhodes dished to The Huffington Post about the film’s Oscar win, how director Barry Jenkins has enhanced his love for cinema, and his thoughts on his much talked-about Calvin Klein underwear campaign.

Congratulations on your recent Oscar win for Best Picture. What was your immediate reaction to the onstage flub following Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway accidentally announcing “La La Land” as the winner?

Honestly, in that particular moment when you hear “La La Land” [as the winner], you’re happy for the cast and the crew because we’ve been going on this journey with them for the past few months. And so, we got to know them very well. Just like what [“La La Land” producer] Jordan Horowitz said when he was up there [accepting the award]. They’re just a wonderful group of people that we were fortunate enough to get to know. And so, we were just happy for them.

And then you see this guy walking onstage with an envelope. I was sitting next to André Holland and turned to him and was like, “André, something’s going on. Something bad is about to happen.” And he said, “Nah, nah, nah.” And then the envelope gets to the front and we saw what we saw.

And so I got Mahershala [Ali] and Barry [Jenkins] up to run up onstage. Thankfully, we were the Best Picture winner. It was always a high. There was never a high moment or low moment. There was never that contrast. It just went from being 100 percent excited for “La La Land” to 200 percent excited for “Moonlight.”

What would you have said onstage as an acceptance speech had you been given the opportunity to share a message with the audience?

I would’ve obviously thanked everyone involved in the process of making and supporting the film. And obviously, the fans and the people who see themselves as me [Chiron] in the film, which is most important. Just love yourself and we see you, we see you, we see you. And thank you.

Given this was your first time working with Barry Jenkins, how would you describe your experience filming with Barry?

It was incredible. Barry is a very heartfelt and intellectual person. I’m very inquisitive, and I always have questions and need to touch things to see how it works, or why it works. And Barry was someone who always, always 100 percent had an answer to every question I had. Which for me, is the most fulfilling thing. And so, to have that intellect and to be able to learn from someone with that kind of intellect and also to be able to work with someone who had equally that amount of compassion, and empathy, and love, it was just a unique experience to grow with and learn from. And I’m a big cinema fan, and I love doing films because they have a different way to depict different stories and events. And Barry is a foreign filmmaker in a sense.

But to be a part of something where someone has so much style and so much love for the craft is amazing. I learned from that. And I kind of grew my love for cinema through my conversations with Barry. Because obviously he’s even more of a cinema buff. So to be able to pick his brain whenever, or send him a text message like, “What movie should I go study?” He’ll go ahead and send it to me. So yeah, it was a great experience.

Did you experience any challenges while portraying Chiron?

No, I don’t believe so. I tried to think of some, but then I feel like that’s just trying to force myself to say, “Oh, well, this part was difficult,” but, nah, man. It was really just … I won’t say it was easy, but I knew who the person was. The script was written so well and I had so much faith, and Barry had faith in myself. And if you put yourself out on a limb, you have someone like Barry who has your back. It was really again just trusting in Barry and trusting in the script and not having any fear to put myself out there.

Were there certain specific experiences or people that you researched or looked to in order to develop the nuances of Chiron?

I’m the kind of person where I always digest everything around me. So for me, it was kind of like understanding that, and honestly, I had my best friend since I was 9 years old, he came out recently. So, growing up, I knew his struggles were bad. And that part of the story was with me. But as far as the nuances, those were things I picked up on just by watching people in passing in a sense. And not judging people, but just understanding and being curious about why people walk a certain way, or why people have this sort of closed-off demeanor. All these different things trying to understand why people do what we do. Just trying to place certain things to develop this character’s physicality.

And so, it was just picking and pulling from people that I’ve seen in passing, and walking in that headspace through my life for a few weeks to get a hang of it and then just bringing it into the film.

What has been the most meaningful feedback or praise you have received about the film so far?

Ah, man, just “Thank you” ― “Thank you for allowing me to see myself, because I haven’t seen myself on screen.” That’s something that I hear quite often, and that’s the highest praise you could ever get. Someone who is teary-eyed, shaking, and just needs to hug you. They can’t even verbalize the way that they feel, but you see so much in their eyes, because they’re so grateful for you being a part of something that helps depict their life story, depict their struggle and allow them to breathe in a sense. Because they haven’t been able to do that throughout their entire life, because they felt the need to shield themselves from the world. Just having those moments with the people is just the most amazing thing. That’s better than anything.

Do you plan to continue to use your artistry to amplify underrepresented narratives on screen?

One million percent. That’s the goal. That’s why I wanna do bigger films, so my face and my “brand” gets broaden so that I can do another film like “Moonlight” and hopefully it reaches more people, because [people will say], “Oh, Trevante Rhodes is in that? Ah, man, I don’t know what it’s about, but I’ll go check it out.” And then they end up getting a different experience, because I’m a part of something. So absolutely, it’s just about finding the right material, telling the right story with the right person who also has a like-minded vision and the same kind of heart.

Prior to acting, you were active as a track and field sprinter in college. What made you transition from sports to pursuing a career in acting?

I was given an opportunity to do sports in college and get a degree because of it. I ran track for the University of Texas and was studying to be a petroleum landman. And I was gifted an opportunity to audition for a film during my last semester in college, which I discovered while jogging around campus. And I kind of got the bug from that instant when I didn’t get the role, but it was kind of like sports in a sense.

It’s like the most individualized team sport, like track and field. You do your best to give your best performance so that the totality of the film can be great. So, I just had the opportunity to continue being an athlete without breaking down my body as much.

In addition to acting, you may have a bright future in modeling thanks to the responses from your recent Calvin Klein ad. What were your thoughts about the reactions?

[Laughs] Ah, man. [Laughs] It was funny, because I get — obviously people tag you on photos, and it’s all over New York, like on the streets, and it’s insane, man! I work out hard, and so now the world sees the product of you working out. And I’m like, “Ah, that’s really cool.” I don’t know any other way to describe it. It’s Calvin Klein, that’s iconic, you know. Marky Mark did that. I was like, “It’s ‘Moonlight’ and Marky Mark, baby.” It’s incredible.

And it’s black and white and it just looks so beautiful. And it’s to amplify a movie that’s so beautiful that we all care about so much that it ended up getting Best Picture. Like, there’s no better moment than right now. And then thinking about Mahershala [Ali], he just had a daughter and to be a part of that is really, really cool.

The ladies want to know, are you single and what qualities do you look for in a partner?

[Laughs] Yeah, I’m single. As for what I look for, I don’t know any other way to put it, but I look for truth, and honesty, because that’s something that’s few and far between. And obviously, someone who takes care of herself physically. But truth, honesty, and love, that’s what’s most important. Oh, and someone who can vibe to some jazz. Because I love jazz music a lot.

“Moonlight” is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Barack Obama Doesn't Look Too Worried About Life In This Leather Jacket

Looks like Barack Obama isn’t letting something like a little wiretapping accusation stand in his way of being the coolest ever.

Obama brought his new favorite pastime, reminding Americans what they’re missing, to the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. His appearance comes amidst claims from Donald Trump that the former president wiretapped the phone lines at Trump Tower in the time leading up to the election.

But if his look is any indication of how he’s taking the news ― a pair of jeans, a button-front shirt, sunglasses and ― wait for it ― a super stylish brown leather jacket, we think it’s safe to say he’s not losing too much sleep over the whole thing.

For the first time ever, he may have even upstaged Michelle Obama, who looked lovely yet less fashion-forward in a black turtleneck, pants and cardigan. We never thought we’d see the day.

Obama has been looking relaxed, happy and handsome as ever since leaving the White House. Can you blame him?

Beyoncé Might've Subtly Paid Homage To Adele At 'Beauty And The Beast' Premiere

Everyone in the music world remembers Adele’s awesome shout-out to Beyoncé at the Grammys while accepting the Album of the Year award in February.

“I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album, to me, the ‘Lemonade’ album, was so monumental, Beyoncé,” she said, after “25” beat out Bey’s 2016 album for the night’s biggest award. “It was so monumental and so well-thought-out and so beautiful and soul-baring, and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that.”

That night, Adele also wore a tribute to Queen Bey on her chest: a lemon pin.

Last week, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy attended the premiere of “Beauty and the Beast” together.

The singer wore a green empire-waist gown, while it appears that Blue wore a modified version of a tiered dress from Gucci’s Fall 2016 collection, according to E! News

BuzzFeed noticed that in the middle of Blue’s dress was a heart with “25” stitched in the center, which just might have been a nod to Ms. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins’ album.

While we don’t know for sure if the “25” had significance (a rep for Gucci was not immediately available for comment), we sure hope so.

The 18-year-old recently landed covers on Rolling Stone and CR Fashion Book and, as of just a few days ago, scored a major modeling contract with a top agency.

Jackson announced she’d signed with IMG Models in an Instagram post, writing “I feel very lucky and blessed.” The agency also posted a photo welcoming her into the model family.

Besides being a model, Jackson recently expressed that acting and activism are two things she’s extremely passionate about.

“I’ve always wanted to try out acting, but maybe in a couple years. I really believe in activism and I want to do bigger things,” she said in CR Fashion Book. “I’m hoping that this year my generation will get to a point where we will rise up, not in a violent way, but start pushing for more liberalism. This happened with same-sex marriage. We pushed so hard for equality and it happened.”

We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.

David Letterman's Beard Has Had A Better Life Than Most People

David Letterman’s beard has enjoyed a better life than most things since its debut in 2015. It’s been to India for a trim, rubbed elbows with the Obamas, been jogging in St. Barths and now, it’s taking up much of the cover of New York Magazine.

Photographed for a cover story teased by “David Letterman returns for one issue only,” the former late night funnyman wears his iconic beard, a pair of orange sunglasses and a beanie. According to the mag, the image was shot on Letterman's way out of his meandering, cutting interview

Letterman explained to New York that “great things have happened” to him since growing the beard, including being mistaken for artist Chuck Close and telling strangers on the street he’d been fired from his television show.

His friend Paul Shaffer once called Letterman’s beard the “porcupine on his chin,” and we can’t help but obsess over its impressive lushness at any given opportunity. It seems to have a character all its own. What better time than now, then, to revisit how the beard evolved?

Check out Letterman’s incredible beard-volution below.

Comme des Garçons' Latest Designs Look Suspiciously Like Piles Of Lint

Cleaning out the dryer’s lint filter is just one of many unpleasant activities we face while doing laundry

Apparently the designers at Comme des Garçons aren’t as afraid of the lint filter as we are. Just take one look at the brand’s latest show at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday.

The unconventional collection looks largely made up lint, in industrial-sized quantities.

Fun!

These are trying times, and we can see the appeal in wanting to drape yourself in a giant pile of, as Jezebel’s Julianne Escobedo Shepherd so eloquently put it, “the de facto fabric that forms when you haven’t cleaned out the lint filter in your clothes dryer and sculpt it so that you’re both comfortable and bulbous.”

For those who don’t want to sacrifice showing off their shape for comfort, another variation of the look features a cinched, belted waist.

And if lint just isn’t your (laundry) bag, there’s also this piece, which looks like it might belong inside the washing machine itself.

Check out more looks from the wonderfully weird show below.
