Hillary Clinton's Date Night Involved Applause And A Statement Necklace

Chelsea, Bill and Hillary Clinton took in a Broadway show together in New York City Monday night, and garnered some applause of their own in the process.

Hillz looked lovely in a black jacket and a big beaded statement necklace, sporting a hairstyle reminiscent of her pre-election ‘do

The trio saw the musical “Come From Away,” and the crowd went wild upon realizing the identities of their famous fellow audience members.

And as if this family outing weren’t already chic enough, Diane Von Furstenberg was there, too. Cast member Matt Armentrout wrote on Instagram that it was “such an honor to meet two women who have shaped our culture and lives!”

Bill and Hillary also posed for photos with the cast backstage, producing this perfect photo of a laughing Clinton that we might just need to have framed.

This whole scene gets a standing ovation from us.

This Stunning Video Aims To Raise LGBTQ Awareness Through Dance

Two men get into the Pride Month groove on the Los Angeles streets in this colorful music video that’s also a retro-inspired meet cute.

Released by the DanceOn Network, the video stars dancers Derek Tabada and Will Johnston, who sport jewel-toned Paul Smith suits as they perform a playful, acrobatic routine to the tune of singer-songwriter Dylan Hyde’s “Clearly.” Eagle-eyed viewers may recognize Johnston, who also choreographed the number, from “The LGBTQAlphabet,” a similarly queer-inclusive video produced by Equinox in collaboration with the LGBT Community Center and released earlier this month.

At one point, the dancers strut their stuff in front of Paul Smith’s West Hollywood storefront, which received a rainbow makeover earlier this month as part of an Instagram Pride Month initiative

DanceOn CEO Amanda Taylor told HuffPost her company hoped to “act as an ally and an advocate” for the LGBTQ community by releasing the video, which aims to “channel artistic expression for positive change.” Last year, the group produced a contemporary dance homage to Orlando’s Pulse nightclub tragedy that has since received over 2 million views on YouTube

The Paul Smith storefront, of course, is typically painted pink, and is known as one of the most photographed locations of its kind in Southern California. Unveiled June 7, the new paint job is one of five “rainbow walls” created by Instagram to “strengthen relationships through shared experiences,” particularly among members of the LGBTQ community. Visitors are asked to share images of themselves in front of the five walls, which will also appear in London, Madrid, Cleveland and Nashville, Tennessee, with the hashtag #KindComments so that others can use Instagram to find a “community of support.”

“For Pride, we hope the rainbow walls become physical structures that inspire kind comments and support,” Instagram’s Chief Operating Officer Marne Levine told HuffPost, “but equally create an opportunity for people to come together on Instagram to support the LGBTQ community.”

Take a look at some photographs from the June 7 rainbow wall debut below.

Man Buns Land On Cover Of The New Yorker, Hopefully Signaling The End

Men who wear man buns: you’ve officially been recognized.

The hairstyle made famous by Jared Leto ― and worn by every living, breathing hipster in Brooklyn ― has finally reached peak trendiness and landed itself on the cover of The New Yorker.

The artwork shows a heavily tattooed man wearing a tank top, laser-focused on crafting a top knot for his long hair:

Artist Peter de Sève, who created the cover, told the magazine about his muse(s) for the artwork:

“Brooklyn’s eccentricities are an endless font of inspiration for a guy in my line of work,” de Sève said. “I live in Park Slope, and my covers are often inspired by a person or place a few blocks from my home—if not right outside my window.”

Though the hairstyle took off a few years ago, this cover is proof the man bun’s popularity hasn’t slowed down one bit. At one point, Groupon even offered clip-on man buns for men who wanted the hairstyle but didn’t quite have the long locks to achieve it:

Considering real man buns are believed to cause baldness, these fake buns might actually be the best option for men who wear the hairstyle often.

What a time to be alive.

Halima Aden Is Allure's First Ever Hijab-Wearing Cover Model

Allure’s July issue is gorgeous and groundbreaking thanks to Halima Aden, the glossy’s first hijab-wearing cover star.

The 19-year-old model catapulted to stardom after becoming the first Miss Minnesota contestant to compete in a hijab and burkini in November 2016. She looks stunning on the cover of Allure in a Nike hijab and a red, white and blue hoodie.

Best of all, the words “This Is American Beauty” are emblazoned on her photo.

Allure’s Molly Young writes that Aden’s robust presence in the industry is not intended to be politically charged, and that “if there is symbolism to be read into her, it is in our work, not hers.” But there is a timeliness to using a Muslim model to portray American beauty during a period of travel bans, prejudice, and a rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes

Aden became Vogue’s first hijab-wearing model in June and walked the Yeezy show in February, and there’s no doubt she’s a trailblazer.

She also happens to look totally badass in florals.

One thing Aden does have to say about her hijab is that it allows her to spend less time worrying about her looks.

“I have much more to offer than my physical appearance, and a hijab protects me against ‘You’re too skinny,’ ‘You’re too thick,’ ‘Look at her hips,’ ‘Look at her thigh gap,’” she told Allure. “I don’t have to worry about that.”

Head to Allure to read the entire interview.

These Awkward Sunburns Are A Painful Reminder To Wear Sunscreen

Summer is upon us, which means it’s time to time to lather up and do our best to avoid awkward sunburns.

Unfortunately, some unlucky souls have already gotten their first burns of the season and are tweeting photos of their hilarious (and painful-looking) results. Learn from their mistakes:

Earlier this year, sportswriter and commentator Stephen Campbell went viral for a video that showed off his terrible sunburn after playing one too many games of softball. Instead of trying to cover up the burn with makeup, Campbell turned his cringe-worthy burn into a funny PSA.

”Before I start this video I’d like to take a moment to talk about a very important issue,” Campbell said. “It’s imperative to wear sunscreen when you’re outside on a sunny day. How important? Take a look at my face right now unless you want to be an idiot like me and come into work with the most ridiculous sunburn in the history of mankind. Slap that s**t on.”

To make sure you don’t end up with burns like these poor folks, make sure to wear at least SPF 30, avoid the sun when it’s strongest (between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.), reapply often and wear sunscreen even when it’s cloudy.

This Donald Trump Swimsuit Will Scare Everyone At The Beach

The creators of the chest hair bathing suit are back with another innovative one-piece: the “Shocked” Donald Trump suit.

Clothing company Beloved created the eccentric swimsuit, which is pretty much guaranteed to get a rise out of democrats and republicans alike. This piece of polarizing pool wear costs $49.99, but that’s a small price to pay for starting heated conversations about politics at the pool.

Perhaps the best part of the suit isn’t Trump’s “shocked” face ― it’s the fact that the suit is made in the United States of America, unlike some of Ivanka Trump’s products.

When the company posted a photo of the shirt to Instagram, commenters went wild.

“Since mom loves Trump so much, maybe you should get this for her birthday,” one follower wrote, while another asked the company when they were coming out with a Putin swimsuit.

“I’d rather never go to the beach then wear that,” a commenter said. Another added, “I don’t want to like this and yet I really do want to see what it looks like on a person.”

Be sure to look out for this one-piece on your next trip to the beach. And if you’re in the mood for a less political swimsuit, there’s also a one-piece with Nicolas Cage’s face on it.

Ken Doll Gets A Makeover With New Body Types, Skin Tones And Hairstyles

Last year, Mattel gave Barbie a long overdue makeover with three new body types and a variety of skin colors and hairstyles. Now the toy company is announcing another move toward inclusiveness with “new and diverse” Ken dolls.

On Tuesday, Barbie expanded its ‘Fashionistas’ line with 15 new Ken dolls, featuring three body types ― “slim,” “broad” and “original” ― as well as seven skin tones, eight hair colors and nine hair styles (like the man bun, cornrows and more).

“By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation,” senior vice president and general manager for Barbie, Lisa McKnight, stated in a press release. “Evolving Ken was a natural evolution for the brand and allows girls to further personalize the role they want him to play in Barbie’s world.”

The original Ken doll was introduced in 1961 and over the past half-century has become a staple for Barbie-loving girls and boys.

While 10 of the new dolls are available now, five more will join in the coming months. In addition to the 15 new Ken dolls, there are now 25 more diverse Barbie dolls in the Fashionistas line.

You can take a look at the new doll options on Barbie.com and at retailers nationwide.

Nicole Kidman's Style Has Come Completely Full Circle

Nicole Kidman has walked a lot of red carpets in her day. Not only has she been delivering award-worthy performances for decades, but she’s also a mainstay on the music-centric red carpets thanks to husband Keith Urban

All those appearances mean plenty of opportunity to play dress up. Kidman’s style, which centers on form-fitting dresses, elaborate detailing and a hefty dose of glamour, has pretty much come full circle over the years. Her all-black ’90s vibes even made a return appearance on the red carpet just this month at the CMTs.

But what really marks her style evolution? Her hair. It’s been curly and straight, blonde and red, shorter and long, plain and adorned with funky accessories. Kidman’s locks deserve praise all their own.

In honor of the actress’ 50th birthday on June 20, check out some of her best red carpet moments from over the years:

Amazon's 'Prime Wardrobe' Service Is Bad News If You Don't Trust Your Neighbors

Amazon is trying to make it more enticing to order clothes from its site.

The company announced Tuesday that it’s introducing Prime Wardrobe, a new feature that will allow Prime customers to order clothes, shoes and accessories that are shipped to their house for free. The “try before you buy” concept allows people seven days to decide on the items and ship back whatever they don’t want at zero cost. Customers are only charged after they’ve decided what to keep.

There’s also an incentive to keep what you ordered. Customers who buy three or four items get 10 percent off, while customers who buy five or more items get 20 percent off.

Despite all the benefits, there is a major drawback. Amazon’s video about Prime Wardrobe tells viewers to leave their boxes of clothing on the doorstep for Amazon to pick up. But not everyone can safely leave a box of clothes on the doorstep and expect them not to be stolen (city dwellers know this all too well). And considering the package is marked “Prime Wardrobe,” it lets people know a little too much about what’s inside.

Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits had to undergo a makeover after thieves targeted her highly-recognizable labeled packaging and took products out.

Prime Wardrobe isn’t available just yet, but HuffPost reached out to the retailer to figure out just what happens if a package is stolen.

The Issue With Wishing Someone A 'Happy And Healthy' Baby

$

A thought-provoking Instagram post is highlighting a side effect of wishing expectant parents a “happy and healthy” baby.

Michelle Elman is a UK-based blogger, body confidence coach and activist. On June 14, she posted two photos of herself on Instagram ― one from her childhood and one from the present. Over each photo, she added the words “happy not healthy.”

“’Wishing you a happy and healthy baby!’ ‘We don’t mind if we have a boy or girl, as long as my baby’s healthy.’ That’s all parents dream of, right? Happy and healthy,” Elman began the post.

“Well that’s unfortunately not what my parents got,” she added.

In her 23 years of life, Elman’s had 15 surgeries, a brain tumor, punctured intestine, obstructed bowel, cyst in her brain and a condition called hydrocephalus.

Elman wrote that she used to feel heartbroken when she realized how hard her health struggles have been for her parents. Hearing phrases like “Wishing you a happy and healthy baby” affected her as well.

“Every time someone would say this in front of me, I used to wonder if my parents were disappointed when I was born,” she said, adding that she knew they weren’t because they have always been so wonderful.

“But each time I was hospitalized, I would see the pain their eyes and wonder if their life would be easier without me?” she continued. “They wouldn’t have had such a burden. I wouldn’t have caused all this pain to see me in pain. I wouldn’t have caused all the anxiety every time I got ill. Every time I went into surgery, I used to worry how they would spend the time waiting and how much stress they must be under.”

Over time, Elman said she bottled up these thoughts and fears and opted not to talk to her parents about her feelings because she didn’t want to add to the burden.

“But that wasn’t the solution,” she concluded. “Never keep it bottled in, please talk to someone! No, my parents didn’t get ‘happy and healthy.’ But they definitely got happy. Enough happy to overcompensate for the lack of healthy. And enough wisdom to know there is nothing to compensate for.”

Elman’s post received over 7,500 likes. She told HuffPost this topic had been on her mind for awhile, as she’s always paid attention to the impact of her health problems on her friends and family. A baby shopping trip with a friend brought back memories about how alone she felt at the time.

Elman runs a body positivity-focused campaign called “Scarred Not Scared,” through which she’s shared her health struggles and confidence journey. The guilt she felt has been an integral part of this journey, she noted.

Elman told HuffPost she wrote the post for anyone else who’s felt this kind of guilt.

“Often times when you are hospitalized as a child, you don’t completely understand the medical situations that are surrounding you, but you do see the emotional impact that it’s having on the people around you,” she explained.

“I wanted to speak to that and reassure those that were going through it that they aren’t alone and to speak about it,” she added. “When you feel guilty about something that you know isn’t logical or rational, it can be hard to reach out ― so I wanted my followers to know that it’s OK to having feelings around your illnesses and chronic pain that don’t always make sense.”

Adorable New Photos Of Will And Kate Will Give You Royal Wedding Déjà Vu

We’d all love to repeatedly relive the magic that was Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding. And it looks like they’ve done just that.

Will and the former Kate Middleton attended the Royal Ascot in Ascot, England on Tuesday in looks that were only slightly less fancy than what they wore to their nuptials in 2011.

Kate even stuck to wearing Alexander McQueen, the fashion house that designed her iconic wedding gown, for the occasion. She looked lovely in a white lace dress and matching fascinator. Will looked like a groom handsome in a suit and large top hat.

When Will and Kate weren’t busy looking painfully adorable, Kate was engaging in one of her other strong suits, managing to kiss people hello while also wearing an elaborate headpiece.

Can you say “vow renewals?”

People Are Convinced The Queen's Hat Is A Subtle Dig At Brexit

Queen Elizabeth II officially opened parliament in the United Kingdom on Wednesday with a speech, but it was her outfit that made the real statement.

Scheduling conflicts led to a more casual ceremony than usual, with the queen foregoing the typical ceremonial robes and crown. Instead, the monarch wore a festive yellow and blue floral dress with a blue overcoat and a hat with blue and yellow flowers ― or are those really meant to be the stars in the flag of the European Union?

Social media appears to think so. Twitter users were quick to claim the hat’s design is really a subtle message the queen is a “remainer,” or a person who is against the U.K. leaving the European Union in Brexit.

It’s very possible that the queen, who boasts an extensive hat collection, chose the blue and yellow outfit at random and the hat is just a coincidence. She hasn’t given an opinion publicly one way or the other on Brexit, but there has been speculation she supported the vote to withdraw.

Either way, hats off to this moment, because coincidence or not, the possibility the queen was sending a subtle message makes her outfit way more fun. Check out the best reactions to her buzz-worthy topper below:

Artist Protests Dolce & Gabbana's Ties To Trump While Walking The Runway

One man took a stand against Dolce & Gabbana’s ties to Donald Trump at the brand’s fashion show in Milan this weekend.

While all eyes were on Miley Cyrus’ feud with the designers, Atlanta-based musician Raury protested D&G while walking the runway for the Italian design house. Near the end of the runway, Raury took off his D&G top ― revealing the phrases “Protest D&G,” “Give me freedom,” and “I am not your scapegoat” ― and raised a closed fist to the sky.

He posted the powerful photo on Instagram and wrote about the emotional experience in the caption.

“I never felt so alone, so terrified, yet so alive...Found myself in tears when I realized the people understood, and I’m not just screaming in the dark anymore...” Raury wrote. “If ur in this industry remember that there is a god, and god protects the good... so do the work when aligned to. following my heart from this day forth knowing that I am living truth... If it ever means my end so be it.”

A post shared by raury (@raury) on

In an interview with GQ, Raury said he was unaware of Dolce & Gabbana’s support of the Trumps ― and their recent “boycott” campaign that makes fun of protesting and people who don’t agree with D&G’s politics ― until the day before the brand’s “Millennial” fashion show this past weekend in Italy.

“Me, as a young man from Stone Mountain, Georgia, the birthplace of the Ku Klux Klan, I really felt this mockery of boycotting,” Raury told GQ. “Who knows, if boycotts didn’t happen, if Rosa Parks and M.L.K. didn’t step up…who knows if I would even exist. Boycotting matters. Boycotting is real. Dolce’s entire campaign says it’s not real.”

Already in Milan, but armed with knowledge about D&G’s upsetting campaign and their support of Melania Trump, Raury didn’t know whether or not he wanted to walk in the runway show anymore.

“I know that if I walk out there and support or endorse anything that sits next to Trump—or support someone who even makes dinner for Trump or whatever—then that means that I support Trump also,” he told GQ. “I don’t support Trump. So I’m trapped, and I have to let people know that I don’t support Trump and I don’t support those who are trying to undermine the voice of the people.”

Some of his friends at the show told him not to take a stand, but Raury did it anyway. And he’s glad he did.

“It was very insulting to know that Dolce & Gabbana was selling all of this millennial, pro-forward shit, but everything that they’re doing and saying is a step backwards,” the musician told GQ. “They’re speaking for the 1950s. They’re saying our voice doesn’t matter, and they fuck with Melania and Trump.”

He added, “I felt like if nothing happened, then they would be right. And that T-shirt would be right. Dolce would think they can talk shit about people boycotting, support the first lady of a president who is very parallel to Hitler, and bring the millennials and put them in that shit and nothing would happen. But it’s basic math. One plus two equals three. And this is what will always happen.”

Miley Cyrus also called out the brand over the weekend after her brother, Braison, walked in D&G’s show. After saying she strongly disagreed with the brand’s politics, Stefano Gabbana lashed out at the singer on Instagram.

“Ignorant,” the designer said of Cyrus. “For your stupid comment never more work with him.”

Sounds like the feeling is mutual.

HuffPost reached out to Raury and representatives for Dolce & Gabbana.

Why Ashley Graham Broke Down In Tears After This Lingerie Shoot

$

Ashley Graham is a pro at workin’ it in her lingerie, so it makes sense she would share her skills with the rest of us.

The model recently partnered with Glamour to coach four girls on modeling their lingerie and ― at the same time ― overcome their various insecurities and struggles with their bodies.

Over the course of the 8-minute video, the girls shared their powerful stories about recovering from an eating disorder, battling skin conditions, scars and more. Graham encouraged the women to open up about what they liked about their bodies and just say “screw you” to the body parts they struggled with.

After dancing and coaching the new models, Graham went over the photos with the women and told them just how beautiful they looked.

“It’s not every day that I see a girl like me in this kind of lingerie,” one of the girls said to Graham.

“Yeah because they don’t put us out there like that,” Graham answered.

Near the end of the video, the model broke down in tears talking about the amazing experience.

“People just think that body image and the body revolution is a ‘trend’ and a ‘fad,’ and, you guys, it’s not,” Graham said through the tears. “It goes from big girls to little girls. It goes from Spanish girls to black girls. It goes from white girls to young girls. It’s everybody in between.”

She added, “If we keep having this conversation, if we keep talking about the things that society has said are ugly, the things that we don’t see in media, that is what is gonna change. That’s how we make a statement. That’s how we rule out all the things that are here right now and make a new normal.”

Amen to that.

Nothing says “I’m totally not upset that I found out about your wedding through Instagram” like a ~sexy~ photo shoot.

This week has been an emotional minefield for ride-or-die “Drake & Josh” fans after the latter didn’t invite the former to his nuptials over the weekend. Drake Bell seemed lightweight devastated at Josh Peck’s supposed snub, but he rebounded Wednesday with a smoldering photo shoot for Flaunt Magazine

Posing shirtless with his pants undone, Bell does his best serious model face in what looks like the canyon over from Britney Spears’s “I’m Not A Girl” music video.

A post shared by Drake Bell (@drakebell) on

The photo shoot comes a day after Bell posted and then deleted a series of tweets in which he seemingly cut ties with Peck after not being invited to his TV stepbrother’s wedding.

“When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear ... ” he tweeted and later deleted, according to E! Online

“Loyalty is key,” he continued. “ALWAYS remember where you came from.”

When he’s not being petty about wedding invites, Bell is busy with music, which apparently is the inspiration for the photo shoot. The images were released on their own apart from an unintentionally hilarious quote from Bell about his feelings.

“Music is my journal, It’s a way to express myself and convey my emotions and thoughts to the world through melody and song. Fashion is an extension of the music,” he said on Flaunt’s website. “Artists from every generation wear clothing that resonate with and inspire the art they create. Just like music, fashion sets the tone for how I choose to be in the moment and portray myself to the world.”

The feud is snowballing fast, so let’s just remember the good times while we still can.

Prabal Gurung Epically Shut Down A Critique Of His Plus-Size Line

Prabal Gurung’s recent collaboration with Lane Bryant was one of the most buzzed-about launches last year. The chic, affordable designer collection became one of very few that exist for women over size 12.

But in an industry still rife with exclusion, the news of his foray into the plus-size market received an unfortunate and unsurprising response.

Gurung detailed the blowback while speaking on a panel Monday night for the premiere of “Straight/Curve,” a documentary about body image and the fashion industry. He admitted there was “snickering” in the high fashion world when he first announced he was designing for Lane Bryant.

One exchange happened when an acquaintance asked Gurung why he was “making clothes for fat people.”

When she saw his reaction, the woman claimed her comment was a joke, Gurung said. But the designer, who featured plus-size models in his own Fall 2017 fashion show, didn’t let the remark slide. Instead, his response cemented his status as one of the most badass, groundbreaking designers around.

“I said to her, ‘Words have power, it impacts people,’” he told the crowd. “And I said, ‘It’s because of people like you that I wanted to do this, because I want to make sure that the woman i’m designing for, through Lane Bryant’s platform, feels that she belongs, that she is part of our world.’”

He added that he insisted launch story for the collaboration run in Vogue and be shot by famed fashion photographers because he “wanted to have an elevated conversation” about the need for more inclusivity.

“I truly believe if you want change happening... you need to speak up,” he said.

Bravo to Gurung for sticking to his guns, continuing to use his platform to include all women, and for standing up for himself, too.

Jackie Kennedy's Childhood Home Is Sheer Perfection, Of Course

Merrywood, the massive seven-acre estate where style icon and former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis grew up, is on the market for $45.5 million. Nestled on the Potomac River in McLean, Virginia, not far from Washington, D.C., the home is one very pricey piece of Kennedy family history

Jackie Kennedy moved into the home as a child after her mother married its owner, Standard Oil heir Hugh D. Auchincloss, Architectural Digest reports. Subsequent residents included author Gore Vidal, Washington power couple Wyatt and Nancy Dickerson and current owner and AOL co-founder Steve Case. For decades the home has entertained celebrities, artists and notable visitors, including Nancy and Ronald Reagan.

At 23,000 square feet, Merrywood has nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, two partial bathrooms, a tennis court, two pools and a fitness center, according to its listing with Sotheby’s.

Then there’s the family lore: Homeowners can sleep in Kennedy’s former bedroom, which overlooks the river on the third floor, listing agent Mark Lowham told HuffPost.

“There’s nothing else like [Merrywood],” said Lowham. “No property that has this combination of history, sheer quality and location.”

Merrywood has been heavily renovated since it was built in 1919, Curbed reports, but it retains its original charm. Outside, there are still formal gardens, dining areas and a carriage house with offices and staff housing.

If purchased for a figure anywhere near its asking price, the Georgian-style home will be the most expensive ever sold in the area, according to The Wall Street Journal.

We’ll start saving ASAP.

Courteney Cox Stopped Getting Fillers, Says She Wants To Age More Naturally

Courteney Cox recently cut ties with a longtime friend: her facial fillers.

The 53-year-old told New Beauty that she is currently aging “as natural as I can be” after having all of her fillers dissolved.

“I feel better because I look like myself,” she said. “I think that I now look more like the person that I was. I hope I do. Things are going to change. Everything’s going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake.”

Cox told the beauty website she became “layered and layered and layered” with procedures from different doctors recommended by various pals. It got to the point that she didn’t recognize herself in photos.

Now, she said, she hasn’t had a procedure in six months.

“You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do,” she explained. “Those aren’t wrinkles—they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend.”

We’re all about aging naturally and self-acceptance, so kudos to Cox. We just hope Ross, Chandler, Joey, Rachel and Phoebe still make the friend list.

Prince Harry Reveals That No One In The Royal Family Wants The Throne

Prince Harry, along with Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are preparing to modernize the British monarchy. But that doesn’t mean anyone actually wants to wear the crown.

“We are not doing this for ourselves but for the greater good of the people,” Prince Harry recently revealed in a candid interview with Newsweek. “Is there any one of the royal family who wants to be king or queen? I don’t think so, but we will carry out our duties at the right time.”

Throughout the course of the revealing interview, Prince Harry reiterated his desire to maintain a normal, “ordinary life,” which comes from his late mother, Princess Diana.

“My mother took a huge part in showing me an ordinary life, including taking me and my brother to see homeless people,” he said. “Thank goodness I’m not completely cut off from reality. People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live.”

Prince Harry added, “I do my own shopping. Sometimes, when I come away from the meat counter in my local supermarket, I worry someone will snap me with their phone. But I am determined to have a relatively normal life, and if I am lucky enough to have children, they can have one too. Even if I was king, I would do my own shopping.”

Over the past few months, Prince Harry has opened up more about his life, his charity work and coping with his mother’s tragic death that occurred when he was just 12 years old. Back in April, he told The Telegraph he finally sought counseling when he was 28.

“I have probably been very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions when all sorts of grief and sort of lies and misconceptions and everything are coming to you from every angle,” he said.

But after going through counseling, Prince Harry realized that “once you start talking about it, you realize that actually you’re part of quite a big club.”
