Beauty Looks by Zodiac Sign

I believe in astrology. After all, I am a libra - I am definitely a lover of beauty (my chosen calling running skin care line Alchimie was not an accident), of harmony, and of peace. I hate conflict. So when I had the chance to interview Aurora Tower, a profesional astrologer (with a name like hers, it was meant to me). With a degree is Sociology and Urban Studies from Brown University, Aurora considered a career in Urban Planning before deciding to pursue her passion for astrology as a full time job. She has appeared in numerous magazines and on television programs including Good Morning America & Nightline. Aurora currently does all of the astrology content for Cosmopolitan Magazine, including their famed "Bedside Astrologer". We had to discuss beauty and astrology and how the two are inextricably linked. Here is her guide to what your sign means in terms of your optimal beauty look.

GEMINI

"There is that coquettish smile, but really it's the inquisitive, and well defined, eyes of the Gemini woman that first draw you in. The Gemini woman keeps a youthful glow throughout her life, and her effervescence is highlighted even more by soft glossy pinks and peaches on her lips and cheeks."

CANCER

"Soft, sensual Cancers prefer an au natural look that imperceptibly highlights their voluptuous feminine appeal. Nude cosmetics, with a touch of sheen, make her appear effortlessly radiant, while occasional smatterings of smoky eyes, or pearlescent shimmer, give nod to her ruler, the luminous moon."

LEO

"A veritable bombshell, the Leo woman's presence is announced via her perfect coif of hair, her thick brows and the passionate determination in her eyes. Always sporting a post-holiday glow, she radiates confidence with her strong eyes, deep bronze, and sometimes fiery accents."

VIRGO

"A master at combining minimalist and maximalist styles, Virgo is all about the details, in life and in presentation. A gravitation to natural products gives her a healthy, lit-from-within serenity. And she uses soft earth shades to ever so subtly contour herself to understated perfection."

LIBRA

"A charmer of the first degree, the Libra woman knows how to highlight her best feature, a winning smile, and captivate any audience. Never too heavy handed, she nonetheless relishes the rituals of beauty and fragrance, and finds pinks and peaches in all shades to match her many moods."

SCORPIO

"The Scorpio woman knows just what she likes, and just how to bring the drama. Sometimes starkly understated, sometimes as bold as night, shades of red and crimson flatter her unique, confident style. And she always relies on dark black accents, to reflect the intensity within."

SAGITTARIUS

"The zodiac's free spirit, the Sagittarius woman, embraces experimentalism in her life and with her beauty. Never one to shy away from color, she highlights her open, exuberant curiosity with the occasional unexpected accents, to complement her carefree, natural style."

CAPRICORN

"The strong and stable Capricorn woman, a master of aging gracefully, is fiercely loyal to her favorite looks and beauty routine. She prefers a clean, matte style, and accenting her lovely, knowing eyes with dark grays and browns. Just a touch of shimmer gives a hint of the other, more playful, side of her personality."

AQUARIUS

"The futuristic and liberated Aquarius woman paves her own path through life. She prefers a bronzed glow, made fresh with modern flourishes and interesting angles. Not shy about trying new things, she especially radiates in black and metallic accents, never overshadowing her easy smile and fuss-free personality."

PISCES

"An eternal romantic and dreamer, the Pisces woman radiates the complicated nuances of her gender. Mixing and matching pale pink and purple shades with stark black kohls, she especially shines in windswept, beachy styles. Bronzed and luminous, she is every inch the ethereal sea nymph."

ARIES

"A tomboy at heart, the Aries woman take a no-fuss approach to beauty. Preferring matte nude and brown shades that highlight her practical earthy side, she also gravitates towards bold red accents and deep lips that reveal her naturally confident and charismatic nature."

TAURUS

"A classic goddess, the Taurus woman is both understated and deeply feminine. Quality is of the utmost importance to her, and she relishes the five senses, enjoying her beauty routine as much for its sensory pleasures as for the inevitably flawless result. Erring more on the side of nature than flash, she nonetheless knows just how to pull the right hues from her well balanced features."

Why #UnconventionalBlackBeauty Celebrates People Like Me

Originally posted on Philly.com for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Before laying my head to rest last night, Black Twitter blessed me with something magical. Scrolling through my timeline, I noticed the hashtag #unconventionalblackbeauty, featuring photos of beautiful black faces. Not much different from #blackoutday, an online movement that celebrated black beauty, right?

Wrong.

The difference here was this was an honest discourse about how we define beauty within the black community. And I was so here for it.

In less than 24 hours, the hashtag has received a cosign from artist Talib Kweli and timelines exploded with photos of women and men with full lips, broad noses and kinky hair posing with pride. Because truthfully and ironically, a lot of times when we praise black beauty, we celebrate the features closest to Eurocentric ones.

I found myself getting emotional as someone who struggled with finding beauty in her full lips, kinky hair and broad nose. Once I found the young woman behind the hashtag, I had to call her.

Nia Evans

Seventeen-year-old Nia Evans, picture above, who just graduated from Bowie High School in Bowie, Md., last week co-created the hashtag with "How It Feels to Be A Black Girl" creator Jada Mosely.

2015-06-03-1433372878-9896381-jada.jpg
Jada Mosely

#Unconventionalblackbeauty began after a rant Evans had about how black women are represented in the media, and what types of people are celebrated in the black community.

"I wanted this movement to show the girls who don't get all the Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook or Twitter likes," said Evans, who told me her "unconventional beauty" attribute was her tightly coiled 4C natural hair.

She says, if you're aware you already are the standard of beauty, support, but don't post.

In other words, she says, "If you know you won't find yourself in a magazine, this is for you."

I've been waiting for this since I angrily barged into my dad's car at 10-years-old after school one day and told him I was ugly. That my nose and lips were "too big."

My brilliant father said something I'll never forget. "Too big compared to who? To who or what are you comparing yourself? You ever thought that maybe their lips and nose were too small?"

And it was then that middle-school-me realized that my entire concept of beauty was on a Eurocentric scale.

In the black community, we often celebrate those who are Afrocentric as long as they don't look "too African." The funny thing about the hashtag #unconventionalblackbeauty is that most photos were pretty conventional. But partnering these pictures with the word "beauty" has made them unconventional. For so long, black was made to conform, whether physically, mentally or spiritually. But being unapologetically black or when your facial features go against "the norm" has been, in many ways, "unconventional."

Africa has produced some of the most diverse beauty the world has ever seen and that is fact. Our shades and phenotypes are not homogeneous. The width of a person's nose and the deepness of skin tone do not dictate the depth of Africanness.

And yet, when we talk black beauty, we tend to exalt the Imans, Jessica Whites and Beyonces.

Lupita N'Yongo and Alek Wek would be considered unconventional black beauties and are deemed "exotic" because of it.

If you're skin is deep, beauty is only achieved if your nose is pin straight or minuscule. Or you should have "good hair."

It's okay if your nose is wide as long as you have light skin and light eyes.

My sister and I would swing from one beauty icon to another, mixing and matching their features until we convinced ourselves we were visible. We clinged to the image of Rihanna because she was one of the few mainstream artists we knew with a somewhat broad nose who was considered sexy and beautiful and didn't go under the knife to reconstruct it, even though she has light skin and light eyes. Add Keke Palmer's skin tone, though she wore her hair straight and ours was kinky. Add Angela Bassett's cheekbones, though her nose is a bit narrower than ours. Erykah Badu's hair, though she, too, has light skin and light eyes. And Jill Marie Jones' full lips, though she has a button nose. Voila! There we were.

Women with deeper skin tones would often lament that people would say, "Oh you have such beautiful skin!" But would never said that they, innately, were beautiful.

When we exalt natural hair, what kind of hair textures do we showcase?

#Unconventionalblackbeauty also acknowledges how we define black beauty when it comes to our bodies. Not every "black queen" has a figure-eight, big booty, full chest and thick thighs. Honestly, most have two/three out of four. And others are beautifully slender.

My black British friends were surprised when they came to the United States to find that black Americans looked like them. They expected to see Beyonces, Keri Hilsons and Jesse Williams roaming the streets of Philadelphia.

My mom often painfully recollects my grandmother instructing her to hold a clothespin on her nose in attempts to narrow it. This pain runs deep and is symptomatic of hundreds years of slavery, colonialism and menticide.

I love my "Serena Williams, Garcelle Beauvais, Gabrielle Union, Tika Sumpter, Viola Davis, Kimberly Elise" beauty.

The round curves of my face are soft, warm and welcoming.

It took me a long time to learn that these features weren't born out of inferiority, but are a product of a powerful and noble lineage. I still grapple with it sometimes because it's one thing to know it, understand it, and celebrate it. But it's another to believe it.

An Insider's Guide To Venice Reveals Meditative Moments In One Of The Wold's Most Visited Cities

One of the most visited cities in the world is changing before our eyes, swallowing up quarters and rethinking its dry land. If you're visiting Expo in Milan, it's also a great opportunity to visit nearby Venice and discover some of the city's unsuspected sides.

venice1
The Cathedral and Bell tower of San Marco.

Discovering Venice
Decadent. Expensive. With little soul. And crowded. With tourists, obviously. These are the mixed blessings of the Venetians, if not of the tourists themselves, who in 2015, between Expo and Biennale, will number 30 million. There will be so many tourists, in fact, that the more than 500 tourist facilities on offer won’t be able to cope with demand. Described in this way, Venice is a stressful boat to board. On the contrary, it can be a relaxing surprise.

venice2
Gondole in the laguna.

Often the traveler looks for hidden, extraordinary places. In reality, the Serenissima should be savored day by day -- nose in the air. For example, “There are in Venice three magical hidden places: one in Calle dell’Amor degli Amici, a second near to Ponte delle Maravegie, the third in Calle dei Marrani, near to San Geremia Ghetto Vecchio. When Venetians are tired of the authorities, they go in these three secret places and, opening the doors to be found at the end of those courtyards, they go forever in beautiful places and in other stories.” And so ends Favola di Venezia, the 25th of the adventures written by Hugo Pratt.

venice3
Venetian Ghetto.

Among these beautiful places, even non-believers recognize the salvation of the churches. They're perfect for those moments in which you don’t know what you want and you need time with your thoughts. “And, damn, in silence. Increasingly more difficult today,” Hemingway loved to say, bewitched by the lagoon.

In meditative moments it would be enough to enter into the monumental space of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, in Campo Santo Stefano. You can close your eyes and listen to the sound of the musical instruments coming from the rehearsal rooms. It's a feeling straight from a film.

venice4
Rialto Bridge.

At only five minutes walking distance from the station you arrive in the Cannaregio district, which is, like Castello, one of the most “red” districts: popular and populous. On crowded days, at a short walk from the Ponte delle Guglie, like a charm, you'll find tranquillity. When Venetian ladies arrange to meet here, they specify “In front of Glamour” -- a clothing shop that has become a reference point even for tourists. Yes, in Venice directions always make a reference to a business. To ask for the Ponte San Giovanni Grisostomo doesn’t say much. But to ask for the Ponte dei Giocattoli (as a result of the craft that was practised there), says everything. It’s better to conform.

Walking along Cannaregio, passing through the Jewish ghetto, you can go along the sidewalk of the Ormesini and the Misericordia. There are lots of small bars to have an aperitif at or to stop and have a chat. If you stay here, in the morning go for breakfast to Pitteri, in Strada Nuova. Deborah and Barbara know everyone by name and the regulars will already be listening to Radio Venezia. Leaving, give a small offering to Ciccio Marea, the most photographed tramp in the world, who in the summer stretches out on the ground to sunbathe.

Next, take a ferry to Santa Sofia and a gondola to get to Rialto. In one of the most famous markets on the planet, the seagulls put on a show, fluttering around the fish stalls. As an alternative to a gondola, take the water bus from Cà d’Oro to Rialto Mercato: the journey is interesting when the boat is full. You can hear the Venetians swearing -- they want it for themselves, with no tourists. The monologues on the comedy duo Carlo and Giorgio, the references to the site “venessia.com,” and the remarks on local habits and customs are all educational.

venice5
Ca' Foscari.

Skipping the main route from Rialto to San Marco, and setting off in the direction of the Biennale, you arrive in Via Garibaldi: the gateway to the Castello district. Around you washing is hung everywhere. Mothers with their hair dyed improbable colors chase shouting children who often answer to Maicol, Chevin… Bars and restaurants of a dubious appearance sport fake formica, East German style. In the distance a flea market floats on the boats.

Very often whoever goes to the Biennale believes that this is all a part of it, a display. But also in Piazza San Marco there is something new to discover. At the entrance to the church, among the attendants, is Lauro. In his life he has done other things. He was one of the last teachers of the art of Venetian jewelry-making. Then one day he saw the Virgin Mary. Just like that, his life changed. You can tell him about your wish to visit the San Francesco in the Desert convent. In that case, wake up at dawn, for the life of the Franciscan brothers begins early. With a mentioned donation and polite requests, it’s even possible to spend a night in one of their small cells. It's a mystical experience to then return to Venice, walking by night and only hearing one’s own footsteps. Return to the stench of the low tide, a calle sconta, the fish risotto in the La Madonna restaurant, to the Rialto bridge, and dinners with Tony at the Trattoria Storica, close to the Jesuits.

venice6
Aerial view of La Giudecca island.

Now we understand that in the last 20 years, the Serenissima has changed drastically. Irrespective of what people may say, it's for the better. Silently, while extra large cruise ships and hotels with too many stars were making a racket, Venice became an enormous, singular historical center. Once upon a time, and not too long ago, the city had its suburbs in the lagoon (completely different to those on dry land, with their factories, refineries and dormitory towns). Some -- Castello, the Baia del Re, Santa Marta, the island of Giudecca -- were crowded and common, while others were in the shade of the real center, like Piazza San Marco, Rialto… “Long-neglected, poor, these areas 'on the edge' have returned to center stage thanks to urban renewal programs that recuperate buildings and spaces previously used for other things,” explains Francesco Bortoluzzi, the head of the municipality. (He, together with Michele Casarin and others, including Stefano Boeri, Massimiliano Fuksas, Aldo Cibic and Vittorio Gregotti, is contributing to an essay that will be published by Marsilio towards the end of June, dedicated to the urban transformation of the city.)

venice7andmain
Palazzo Ducale.

Two Cities And Water
Milan and Venice are united by Expo thanks to water and a large space in the shelter of the science technology park Vega at Porto Marghera. “Waters 2015 is the Venetian equivalent of Expo Milan, organized by Expo Venice,” explains Giuseppe Matiazzo, CEO of the organization. “Exhibitions, conventions, tasting sessions, public events, international initiatives for companies and research (amongst which the series of conventions on Planet Water): Expo offers six months to look at the relationship between water and environment, food, science, industry, society and free time.

Then there is “Oltrexpo,” which offers tourism, culture, a carefully selected welcome.” The area stretches over 50,000 square meters, overlooking the water and the car parks; the structure, by Michele De Lucchi, who designed Pavilion Zero at Expo Milan, has a display area of 14,000 square meters and will stay after Expo finishes as a site for trade fairs. And finally, there are the projects of Expo to Venice for discovering the lagoon off the beaten track -- from Isole in Rete (in one fell swoop, the minor islands and the vegetable gardens of the Serenissima), to the tour of the Canottieri Cannaregio to grapple with Venetian rowing.

How We're Reacting To Bath And Body Works Reissuing The Most Nostalgic Scents Of All Time

Body spray enthusiasts, rejoice!

Bath & Body Works, your favorite middle school hangout, announced Friday that it would reintroduce six of its most iconic scents, just in time for summer.

Cucumber Melon, Country Apple, Juniper Breeze, Pearberry, Plumeria and White Tea & Ginger will be available in-stores and online from June 8 - July 5. As Phuong Ireland, Director of Brand Development for Bath & Body Works shared, customers "have amazing memories and stories of" these scents.

While the fancy new packaging is nice, it would be pretty exciting if the old bottles (which you can still purchase online!) came along with the great news.

The brand's Instagram, which boasts a cool (as a cucumber melon) one million followers, proves that people are just as committed to the brand now as they were in the '90s and early 2000s.

With the return of these six classic scents, which Ireland calls "iconic to the Bath & Body Works heritage and what we were known for for a long time," it's safe to say the delightfully overpowering smell of White Tea & Ginger Body Spray will soon be invading an office building near you.

Which scent are you most excited for? Check out some of our favorite Bath & Body Works memories and reactions below, and share yours in the comments!

"I was obsessed with the Cucumber Melon lotion -- I would put it on before every middle school mixer/dance (I went to an all girls' school, so our monthly mixers were the only time we got to socialize with boys). Cucumber Melon lotion, mascara, pink shiny lip gloss, brightly-colored polo, jean skirt, and flip flops -- it was a uniform. There was a sad moment at some point in 8th grade when I realized I had over-exposed myself to the smell and didn't like it anymore..." Hollis Miller, Associate Social Editor, Voices

"I went through many bottles of Cucumber Melon body splash in middle school (and yes, it was BODY SPLASH, not a normal term like body spray). It's now indelibly associated with the bathrooms where we'd all change after gym class. Our school did not have showers. Thank God the fruity smell of Cucumber Melon mingled perfectly with our B.O." Claire Fallon, Books Editor

"Going to the mall with just your friends was the first step towards independence in suburbia, and my earliest mall hangs always included stops at Bath & Body Works. I would consistently try out all the different scents and then inevitably settle on Cucumber Melon. Satisfying every damn time." Emma Gray, Senior Editor, Women

"Ah, what better place to linger the mall as a teen after I had already stocked up on various pairs of Limited Too sweatpants with "SPOILED" written across the ass. (But that's another thinkpiece for another day?) I remember feeling compelled to buy the Cucumber Melon hand sanitizer with the blue beads in it because all the cool, pretty teachers compulsively put it on after accidentally making skin to skin contact with any of us." Lauren Zupkus, Associate Social Editor, Entertainment

"Juniper Breeze was my jam. I thought it spelled so good, but I think the sheer AMOUNT I put on might've made it a boy-repellent (or maybe that was just my bangs + braces combo)." Carly Ledbetter, Associate Lifestyle Editor

"Not to be a debbie downer, but I HATE(D) Cucumber Melon. I used to slather my hands with Juniper Breeze hand sanitizer in high school, though. And if you were in my group of friends, you gave each other mini bottles of lotion before Christmas break as gifts. #besties4lyfe" Taylor Trudon, Senior Editor, Young Voices

juniper breeze

"There was a theory going around my tiny Catholic middle school that boys liked you better if you smelled like apple pie. (circa 2006-2010) To this day I believe that my Country Apple body lotion secured me my first boyfriend." Mia Fermindoza, Photo Operations Assistant

"I was driving to the mall when I was 16. My guy friend found my car stash of Plumeria and started spraying it all over the car. I turned my head to yell at him, rolled into the car in front of me at the stoplight, then paid off the man for hitting his car with a check for $75 (all but a penny of all my babysitting money,) so my parents didn't find out I'd crashed into someone." Elle Woods, is that you?

While hosting a Walmart shareholders meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Friday, Reese Witherspoon taught one Walmart employee a little trick she picked up from her role in "Legally Blonde." It's called the Bend and Snap, and in case you didn't know, it has a 98 percent success rate in getting a man's attention and an 83 percent rate of return on a dinner invitation.

Apparently, it also helps Walmart employees look super cute while stocking shelves:

Amy Schumer Admits She Got Awkward And Starstruck Around Kimye

Amy Schumer reminded all of us in April why she deserved a spot on Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People list: because of her epic Kimye prank.

Remember when Schumer threw herself onto the red carpet at the Time 100 Gala in front of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian? Of course you do, but here's a refresher just in case:

amy schumer

On "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday, the host asked Schumer whether or not the prank made West smile. Schumer confirmed that the "All Day" rapper definitely did not break his usual "sad Kanye" face. But she noted that later on, West did sort of smile at Schumer -- while she was nervously lying to his wife.

The comedian told Norton that when meeting the couple during the gala itself, she became completely fake. "You know when you're in front of a celebrity?" Schumer said. "I become such a flake, I was just saying things I don't mean."

"'You and your sisters, they're just inspiring,' just nonsense," the comedian recalled saying to Kardashian.

West, Schumer said, was smiling during that charade, "but as if you programmed a robot to smile." It definitely wasn't this kind of Kanye smile.

Yep, they're siblings all right!

The British royal family on Saturday released a new photo of Princess Charlotte and her older brother Prince George, the first to feature both siblings together. It's also the first public photo of Charlotte since the days following her birth in early May:

According to The Telegraph, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, took the photo of her children herself in mid-May, when little Charlotte was only two weeks old.

"There was a very warm public response when Princess Charlotte was born, which was very much appreciated by the Duke and Duchess, and so they wanted to share this with the public," an unnamed royal source told the paper.

Kensington Palace teased the photo of Charlotte and George on Twitter prior to its release, referring to it as "very special" and adding, "Can't wait to share it with you!"

Prince William and Duchess Kate currently reside in Anmer Hall, where they'll raise their young family -- aided by a full-time nanny -- for the next few years, BBC reports.

Following the release of the initial photo, the family shared more photos of the brother and sister on Facebook:

The Story Behind The Workout Celebrities Swear By

$

Inside ModelFIT's sunlit Bowery studio, a group of 10 people are lifting and shaking their arms and legs in playful, dance-like moves while a Jason Derulo song blasts in the background. It's a quiet Thursday morning in New York City, and everyone is half-laughing as the instructor helps individuals with their form between encouraging water breaks.

With celebrity clientele like Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss and Chrissy Teigan, it's hard to believe that ModelFIT opened its flagship studio, complete with delicate flower vases and Diptyque candles, less than a year and a half ago.

It all began a few years ago when Vanessa Packer, who founded the healthy lifestyle website bonberi, started working with personal trainer Justin Gelband. Gelband, who's known for his work with models Miranda Kerr, Irina Shayk, Erin Heatherton and more, had the fitness thing down. But Packer, who is all about maintaining a healthy diet, meditating and getting enough sleep, was trying to help him get his health on track in other ways.

While she was teaching him to limit energy drinks and incorporate green juices into his diet, he asked her to work with some his clients. Soon enough, the duo started talking about combining forces in a larger way.

"Once we became friends, we started talking about the possibility of working together -- doing what I was doing with the nutrition stuff, and what he was doing with the fitness stuff," Packer told The Huffington Post. “We wanted people to get a personal training feeling in an intimate class setting. From the inception of that thought and that plan, we opened two years later.”

vanessa and justin
Vanessa Packer and Justin Gelband opened ModelFIT's flagship studio on Bowery in New York City on February 25, 2014.

So, what makes people go crazy over ModelFIT? At $40 a class, ModelFIT isn't cheap, especially for us non-model folks. But after giving it a try, we have to admit that it was a solid workout. Although there were jumping jacks, ankle weights, arm, ab and leg exercises involved, perhaps the best part was how little huffing, puffing and sweating the hour entailed.

According to Packer, this lack of huffing and puffing is because ModelFIT's whole mission is about living a balanced life. If you're a regular at ModelFIT, you're probably eating well and getting enough sleep. Because of that, ModelFit encourages you to slow down and take your workout one step at a time, resulting in a lean, toned body that doesn't push you to your physical limit.

Indeed, research shows that sweating buckets is hardly the be-all and end-all of fitness. While cardio is certainly important and we're all about a good sweat sesh, there's a lot more to it. "Being in shape means improving health, endurance, and building core muscles, all of which you can do without sweating," certified trainer Craig Ballantyne told Women's Health.

As for what makes the actual workout unique, it's all about the small muscles. "We really take the time to focus on all those little muscles that in everyday life you don’t really use or even know about," Packer explained. "Another thing we focus on is not killing yourself to get results. Our prescription for being fit and being well is not to work out for two hours a day and eat whatever you want. Our workout is a mindful workout. You have to think about the muscle you want to feel and the movement you’re doing."

This Was Sarah Jessica Parker's Biggest Hairstyle Regret

Sarah Jessica Parker revealed her biggest hairstyle regret, and it has nothing to do with hairsprayed '80s tresses.

The actress sat down with Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief Joe Zee to celebrate the opening of celebrity hairstylist Serge Normant's new Chelsea location, and talked about some of her iconic hairstyles. While she called her big '80s waves a "time warp," she dubbed her bob haircut from 2001 a "time to hide."

sarah jessica parker

"I remember that, I just cut all my hair off," she told Yahoo while looking at photos from the "Wonder of the World" premiere in 2001. She had cut her tresses for "Sex and the City" at the time, and jokingly apologized for starting the bob trend. "I don't think that's a fair example of [Normant's] work, though. That's maybe a time to be forgotten and never discussed again."

Parker is up for experimentation with her longtime hairstylist, whose Dream Big texturizing spray is apparently her favorite product at the moment.

"It's very easy to be creative with him," she told "Extra" at the same event, "and he's enormously inspiring because he can do anything."

Beyoncé Teases Big Announcement, Then Shills Vegan Diet On 'Good Morning America'

On Monday, Beyoncé revealed how she got her "flawless" body on "Good Morning America" -- through a vegan diet.

The news had been teased by the morning show as "something amazing she wants you to know," and as "something I have to share with everyone," by the 33-year-old singer. With that kind of hype, you can imagine how let down we were, when Bey's big announcement was that she lost some weight by eating a lot of kale and following the 22-day vegan challenge, a program in conjunction with the vegan meal-delivery service, 22 Days Nutrition.

"I am not naturally the thinnest woman," Beyoncé said in a recorded video for "GMA." "I have curves. I'm proud of my curves. I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off, has been difficult for me."

We're really happy things are going so great for you, Beyoncé, but do you think that kind of announcement really requires this type of hype?

We're going to go with no, but you keep enjoying that kale.

19 Women On The Best Thing About Their Boobs

In the movie "Mean Girls," Karen Smith's can predict the weather. At the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Janet Jackson's made international news. In the 90s soap opera "Baywatch," Pamela Anderson's redefined the female sex icon.

From buying bras to breastfeeding, women across the world are #blessed with boobs. And no matter the cup size, there's a whole lot to love.

Here are responses from 19 women on their favorite things about their very own big or small, perky or droopy, one-of-a-kind boobs.

1. "You can balance your plate of food on them while watching Netflix in bed."

2. "I like that mine are small so I can get away with low cut tops! #NoCleavage"

3. "Boobs are magical. Every time I breastfeed my son I'm in awe. Like seriously...we can feed humans and sustain life with them. #Dope"

goingon30

4. "They catch crumbs."

5. "Working out with small boobs is a breeze."

6. "I love that I got to pick mine. Living in a world where I got to change a part of me that used to make me feel terrible is amazing. I got implants when I was 20. They'll never be perfect or symmetrical when they're not in a bra but they finally make me happy!"

“Amy"

7. "Boobs look sexy with or without a bra involved. (And no maintenance required.)"

8. "I like that mine are small! I generally hear nothing but complaints from my big-boobed friends, so maybe I'm really not missing out on much."

9. "Mine are big and I like that they are feminine, but also unruly -- they will not abide a button down shirt and they help me take up space in the world."

“Rihanna"

10. "Mine fed two -- TWO -- humans!"

11. "I loathe my boobs (I hate the word breasts), but my kid likes to lay on them, so I guess they're comfy?"

12. "They float! (Or they're buoyant or something -- look down next time you're in a pool or bathtub…)."

“Jen"

13. "I used to want big boobs so badly that I actually sang the 'We must increase our bust' song from Judy Blume’s Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. But now I love my little B-cups and wouldn’t trade them in for anything."

14. "Their perkiness and shape. And the fact that I don’t have to wear a real bra but still feel supported."

15. "It’s empowering that it's possible to change your breasts or how they look. You have control over whether or not you want to show off your cleavage. I think this Jenna Marbles video sums up a way you have power over your breasts."

16. "One of the best things about small boobs is being able to wear backless tops without a bra. And trying out interesting swimsuit cuts!"

17. "They’re small so they don’t hurt my back."

18. "I see them as a reminder about the wonderful capabilities of the female body. Not only do women have the ability to bring a new life into the world but they can also feed that new being. I think breastfeeding is one of the most important connections you can have with your child after they're born, though certainly not the only one. (My mom wasn't able to breastfeed me, for example.)"

19. "They make me feel very feminine!"

How To Wear Tie-Dye Without Looking Like You're At Woodstock

tie dye

Tie-dye is back and bolder than ever. Good thing, since the colorful print holds a special place in our hearts from childhood. We're pretty sure it was a requirement to tie-dye a T-shirt at least once every summer.

And while the vibrant look was appropriate to wear head-to-toe back then, doing that now will most likely make us look like we're on our way to a Grateful Dead concert.

Not that we've got anything against that, but there's got to be a way to rock tie-dye and stay true to your personal style. In fact, there is -- and we've got a few tips to make it happen.

Check out the ensembles below for some fresh inspiration on how to take tie-dye from retro to modern.

One of the easiest ways to avoid looking too retro is by staying away from multi-colored tie-dyed items. If you stick to one or two hues, your look is a bit more toned down yet still gives off groovy and chic vibes.

Tie Dye 6

Label Lab t-shirt, $69; Nike SB Dunk sneakers, $140; H&M skinny ankle jeans, $38; Ray-Ban demi-gloss sunglasses, $125; Opening Ceremony "Izzy" backpack, $417.

Thanks to the patchwork design on this blazer, it doesn't look like your traditional tie-dyed piece of clothing. A pair of eye-catching heels is also an unexpected way to wear the trend.

Tie Dye 3

Whistles "Masie" jumpsuit, $185; Urbanknit "African Indigo" blazer, $70; L.K. Bennett "Leonie" clutch, $285; Elyse Walker "Sable" pumps, $495.

A tie-dyed skirt might not sound too flattering, but get convinced -- especially since this one boasts a subtle peachy hue and a curve-hugging silhouette.

Tie dye 4

Elizabeth and James "Sia" cropped top, $43; Raquel Allegra skirt, $245; DYLANLEX necklace, $480; Lucky Brand "Harper" bag, $158; Loeffler Randall "Echo" sandals, $192.

You can really make a simple solid dress pop with a few tie-dyed accessories. This watercolored clutch and espadrille combination packs a punch but doesn't overpower your look.

Tye Die 1

Gorman "Butter Me Up" dress, $155; Katrin Reifeiss "Ngong Moyen" pouch, $54; Yoins bib necklace, $10; Tory Burch "Riviera" espadrilles, $95.

You're one and done in this flowy top. You can wear it over a pair of stripped shorts, boyfriend jeans or even use it as a swimsuit coverup.

Tie dye 5

Violeta BY MANGO blouse, $90; MUUBAA "Bethel" shorts, $234; Le Specs "Neo Noir" sunglasses, $54; Whistles "Radan" sandals, $215.

25 Years Of Oprah's Hairstyles In Just 2 Minutes

In its 25-year history, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" covered a huge range of stories, from the somber to the silly. But perhaps the only thing that rivaled the versatility of the show's content was Ms. Winfrey's ever-changing hairstyles.

In the '80s, Oprah's hair had height. In the '90s, it was sleek. In the 2000s, she brought back her curl. And in between, there were plenty of other looks, some of which even became their own news stories. "It seems like I've had... every hairstyle under the salon," Oprah says. "Sometimes I look back at some of them and think, 'Why didn't somebody tell me?'"

The above video captures the full 25-year journey of Oprah's hairstyles, but here are a few of our favorites.

1986

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" debuted on September 8, 1986, and that season, Oprah's hair certainly had volume.

1995
oprah hair 1995
"We began this new season with me sporting a different hairdo, and I could not get over all the fuss in the newspapers the next day," Oprah said. "The Chicago Sun Times... actually did a poll asking its readers to vote on whether or not they liked my hair. The results were this: 42 percent said yes; 58 percent of you said no!"

1997

During Madonna's 1997 appearance on the show, the singer suggested that Oprah would look good with long hair pulled back. Oprah gave it a shot, but wasn't completely sold on the style.

2005

Oprah wears the curly 'do similar to her look today.

2011

During the show's final season, Oprah went with a straight and sleek ponytail for a surprise star-studded affair put together by her team of producers.
