Ireland Baldwin has become famous for her gorgeous face and mastery of the art of selfies. Sadly, the fashion model has decided that she's over posting photos of herself.

The 18–year–old tweeted to let her followers know that she's had enough.

Luckily for you, Baldwin has posted enough to create a solid bank of beauty until she changes her mind.

This is just like what the wise Joni Mitchell used to tell us, "you don't know what you've got till it's gone." Until next time, Ireland Baldwin selfies.

Here's Raven Symone, reminding us all that she's gorgeous, fashionable and all-around wonderful.

The former "That's So Raven" star posted a photo of herself on Instagram Wednesday (Feb. 19) in which she's dressed to the nines in gray and black with a bold purple hat. The photo's caption exudes confidence; she writes, "Making me smile from head to toe. #Photoshoot, #flawless, #imhappy, #bouji."

Brit Awards 2014: See All Of The Outrageous Looks (PHOTOS)

The Brit Awards are known to be the equivalent of the Grammys in the U.S. So it's no surprise that celebrities show up on the red carpet or stage wearing some pretty interesting outfits. We've rounded up the most outrageous looks, with a little sass, just to keep things exciting.

Katy Perry

katy perry

She kind of looks like a temple guard from "Legends of the Hidden Temple." Also, is that a vagina curtain? This is not a good look, even for a performance.

Lily Allen

We have a problem with Lily's dress, and we're not just talking about math. Do we even need to say anything about that yellow dip-dyed ponytail? No. Just no.

Ellie Goulding

ellie goulding

This gown reminds us of a cross between Cinderella and a half-eaten wedding cake. Even princesses have to grow up, Ellie.

Labrinth

labrinth

The glasses are OK, but we just have to ask: Did you raid Hugh Heffner's smoking jacket collection?

Fearne Cotton

This look is kind of like the Tin Man, but instead of a brain, all Fearne needs is a new stylist.

Jessie J.

Britney Spears called from her "Toxic" music video, and she wants her catsuit back. You can keep the black wig and those frosty lilac lips. #YIKES

This is one tangled web we don't want to be caught in.

That Nude Photo Of Emma Stone Is Totally Fake

The Internet is in a frenzy over a nude photo of yet another generally modest actress, Emma Stone. The only problem? It probably isn't her.

The photo in question shows a redhead taking a photo of her naked body in a mirror. While the blurry image does strongly resemble Stone, she hasn't had red hair for quite some time, and that's not the only fishy difference.

A few dedicated fans on Reddit have pointed out that the photo is missing the small tattoos that she has on the inside of her wrist and -- more significantly -- the mole on her stomach.

Sources close to Stone have told TMZ that the photo is definitely not of the actress. Want to see for yourself? Head over to TMZ for the photo.

The Huffington Post has reached out to Stone's representative for comment and will update this post with any new information.

New York Scrubs Microbeads

$

New York is poised to become the first state to ban microbead scrubs, with California likely to follow suit.

Why? Well if you were to wash with, say, Olay Body Wash Plus Spa Exfoliating Ribbons, the invigorating scrub is coming from particles of plastic that rinse down the drain and eventually show up in lakes and oceans.

In addition to polluting the water, microbeads can accumulate other toxic chemicals such as PCBs, be eaten by fish and wind up in the food supply, according to the Attorney General's office.

The environmental hazard caused by microbeads was noted in Lake Erie, when a science professor and her class found plastic beads that are not biodegradable clogging the water.

There are over 200 estimated cosmetic and personal care products with microbeads. Manufacturers would have until December 2015 to phase the microbeads out.

In 2012, Unilever -- whose brands include Dove, Pond's and Caress -- pledged to eliminate plastic beads from its products by 2015. Colgate and Johnson & Johnson have also promised to remove them.

Now that we know the dirt on scrubs, we can all do our bit by boycotting products with microbeads, such as Garnier Nutritioniste Nuti Pure Microbead Cream Scrub. Garnier has helpfully named its product "Microbead," but how would anyone guess that they are in Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Scrub? If you aren't sure if your scrub contains the offenders, check the ingredients list for "polyethylene." It is the most dominant ingredient after water in Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Scrub.

For safe alternatives, look for scrubs salt, sugar, walnut pieces, jojoba spheres or other natural substances. I like Kat Burki Raw Sugar Body Scrub and the best form of facial exfoliation is from the gentle but efficient action of a facial cleansing brush such as Ultra Clear Facial Cleansing System.

Jourdan Dunn might be in the midst of Milan Fashion Week, but the supermodel is reminding us that she's more than just a catwalk killer.

On Wednesday, the British bombshell debuted the Season 3 premiere of her online cooking show "Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn." And the series, which lives on Jay Z's Life + Times website, returned with a bang -- Dunn was joined on the episode with fellow supermodels and "Yonce" video girls, Joan Smalls and Chanel Iman.

Watching Beyoncé's video vixens reminisce about working with the singer while preparing vegan Thai chili -- a homage to Bey and Jay's 22-day vegan challenge -- is must-see TV. And while we're sure the dish was spicy, it was hearing their tales of grinding on Beyoncé that was really hot!

It's truly the end of an era.

Jerry Hall took to Twitter Wednesday to announce that after a 40-year relationship with the same hairstyle, the pair have severed ties. The 57-year-old model and actress made an impulsive decision while on the set of a L'Oreal Professionnel shoot to ditch her long locks for a lob haircut.

We have to admit Mick Jagger's ex looks great with this new hair, which is no surprise, seeing as the style works for every face shape.

We reached out to her old 'do for comment, but we've not yet heard back.

Leonardo DiCaprio Says Marriage Will 'Happen When It's Gonna Happen'

Leonardo DiCaprio has developed a reputation as a modelizer over the years, as his love of leggy blondes has not gone unnoticed -- just ask Tina Fey.

But at the ripe old age of 39, the world, nay, the universe, is demanding answers to the question, "When the heck is Leo going to settle down and get married?" Actually, it's only Gayle King of "CBS This Morning" who admits she's really curious about the Oscar-nominated bachelor.

"Everybody wants you to get married. And by 'everybody,' I mean, me," King told DiCaprio on Thursday (Feb. 20). "When you're ready. Is it something you even envision for yourself? I've read different things about how you feel about it. I'm curious."

DiCaprio gave the only answer he possibly could: "The truth is, it's gonna happen when it's gonna happen. I'm just gonna let it happen naturally. I really am. That's the only way to do it, I feel. And when it's right, it's gonna be right."

We're not surprised by "The Wolf of Wall Street" star's answer since he was literally just questioned on the topic by "CBS Sunday Morning" correspondent Lee Cowan this past weekend.

"I think everybody, well, not everybody, but I think that, you know, eventually when the time is right, absolutely, yeah," he told Cowan, adding, "I've seen some interesting marriages and I've seen some not-interesting marriages."

What's most surprising in all of this is that CBS is officially the network most dedicated to whether or not DiCaprio plans to put a ring on someone someday -- we would have totally bet it was E!

My Favorite Trends for Spring 2014

$

With NYFW just wrapping up, the fashion world is aflutter with talk of runway trends for A/W 2014, but I just can't help anxiously await the arrival of spring! Today, I'm sharing a few of my favorite trends that were forecasted for spring 2014, and how we here at ModCloth are interpreting the looks.

2014-02-19-runwaypastels.png

Runway Images via Fashion Gone Rogue and Harper's Bazaar

Country Crooning Dress, Sparkling Cocktails Dress,

Apricot Your Attention Dress, and Clear Agenda Flat, all available from ModCloth.

Pastels are a pretty way to infuse your wardrobe with a burst of color come springtime. If you're not quite ready to wear head-to-toe robin's egg blue, or a suit of lavender lace -- as pictured in the runway shots above -- try adding just a touch of a sweet shade to your outfit. A peachy-pink dress paired with lacy tights and contrasting brogues speaks to spring without being over the top, or try an aqua-hued dress lined with navy piping for a subtle nod towards the trend.

Ring in Spring Dress, Avid Antiquer Dress,

Exhilarating Embrace Dress, and Gifted Gardener Dress, all available from ModCloth.

I know, I know: Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. But, there's something to be said for this perennial trend, especially if you live on the cold East Coast! When warm weather finally hits, it's so refreshing to shed those winter tights and sweaters in favor of dresses adorned with big, bright florals. Keep it light and airy by choosing a dress with an all-over print, and pairing it with solid accessories, like a classic moto jacket and walkable wedges.

Sailing Into Style Sweater,

Gotta Flurry Sweater, Less is Amour Cardigan in Peach, Goin' to Georgia Cardigan, all available from ModCloth

After months of scratchy sweaters, there's no better feeling than forgoing those heavy layers in favor of something lighter. While spring weather often requires a light coat or cardigan, the options this season are seemingly endless. If the combination of neon and tie-dye is a little too much for you, try adding a pastel knit atop a collared shirt, or drape a nautical sweater over your shoulders to have on hand if the wind kicks up.

While I love following along with the trends coming down the runway, here at ModCloth we prefer to take a more personal approach to style and fashion. Be sure to check out the full post on our blog, Story By ModCloth, to see how our community interpreted these trends, while you're there, pay a visit to our Style Gallery for even more spring styling inspiration!

Boy George Walks The Red Carpet With Bruise–Like Makeup, Says He's A 'Fashion Victim'

Boy George likes to cause a stir and that was especially true as he walked the red carpet at Wednesday night's Brit Awards (Feb. 19). The singer appeared beaten and battered as he posed for photos, but not due to any actual injury.

In fact, the Culture Club star's injury was completely intentional. It was all makeup.

We know what you're thinking. Why on earth would Boy George walk around with a black eye intentionally? But may we remind you -- this is Boy George we're talking about. He is all about the bizarre.

Asked what his odd fashion choice meant, the "Karma Chameleon" singer told British Vogue, "I'm a fashion victim." Whether or not Boy George is feeling the pressure of the runway, his look came off as fairly offensive to actual abuse victims.

However, the singer's bloodied eye got him exactly the attention that he wanted. After noticing that the Daily Mail had called his look "tasteless," Boy George turned to Twitter:

If his goal was to get people talking, he certainly did well.

10 Female-Friendly Car Features Women Would Actually Use

$

From cleaning supplies to ergonomic walking shoes, we've seen plenty of advertisers employ gender stereotypes to pander to consumers. Cars appear to be the next frontier, as an article from The Globe And Mail demonstrates. The article, "10 female-friendly car features," offers a host of gender-essentialist auto options, from “bold colors” to a "built-in vacuum," purse holder and a “parking aid” that presumes all women are terrible drivers.

The most dynamic recommendation seems to be an eco-friendly SUV, which serves the twin purposes of making women feel civically-minded (in our maternal nature, no doubt) and larger -- because “what woman doesn’t love a commanding view of the road ahead?” We're hoping that's a weak metaphor for career mobility and not a legitimate selling point.

While these are pretty hapless attempts, we recognize the value in equipping automobiles with features consumers will appreciate. Given that 80 percent of car-buying decisions are influenced by women, we’ve decided to do some pro bono consulting for the automotive industry and recommend 10 alternative female-friendly car features they should consider. We’re happy to test them out in the beta stages.

1. A 23 percent price reduction to compensate for the wage gap.

2. More damn cup holders. It takes a lot of portable coffee to lean in properly.

3. "Cruise" control. As in a device that maintains speed and averts lewd attempts at seduction from all angles.

4. Seat belts that don't make our boobs look like slightly smushed twin mountain peaks.

5. Built-in audio technology that reads our OKCupid messages aloud in various accents.

6. A birth control dispenser, activated by an alarm signaled by sounds of a crying baby.

7. An audio system pre-furnished with Joni Mitchell, Beyonce and all of Chelsea Handler's books on tape. This should be obvious.

8. Male gaze detector. So at least we're notified when we're being objectified.

9. Brake and accelerator pedals we can adjust for heel height.

Although Lorde just landed her own cover on V Magazine's Music Issue, the 17-year-old "Royals" and "Team" singer has graced the pages of another glossy.

In the March issue of Vogue, featuring Rihanna on the cover, Lorde stands tall in a pastel green Miu Miu beaded dress, while her natural waves and bold brows bask in their usual greatness. And can we talk about the aesthetic of her entire look? From the flower crown to her bright pink lipstick, Lorde gives us another reason to get pumped for warmer, happier weather.

lorde vogue march 2014

While the springtime garb is a departure from her deep purple makeup and dip-dyed fingertips, we loved what she had to say about her signature outfits as of late. "The kind of clothes that I’ve found I like to wear over the past year and six months have all been things that make me feel powerful and strong," she explained. We'll file this quote under one of the most kick-ass, girl power things we've heard so far in 2014.

And might we add that her skin looks radiant -- maybe a little too radiant? But hopefully there won't be any ridiculous rewards being sought after like we saw with Lena Dunham's February Vogue cover.

Read the rest of her interview on Vogue.com to learn about her relationship with fame and the inspiration behind her interesting lyrics.

Pope Francis' Humble Style Influences Cardinal Fashion Choices

$

VATICAN CITY (AP) — No glitzy gold, no rich velvet, no regal fur. Pope Francis' pared down papal wardrobe of sensible black shoes and a white cassock so thin you can see his black trousers through it is a perfect fit for his call for simplicity and humility among his clergy.

The pope's personal style — which earned him Esquire magazine's "Best Dressed Man of 2013" award — and his broader message of sobriety will be put to the test Saturday when he inducts 19 prelates into the College of Cardinals, placing the three-cornered red silk biretta on the heads of the new "princes of the church." For the festive occasion, cardinals are traditionally outfitted in scarlet from head to toe, from the silk skull cap to bright red socks, with a white lace embroidered surplice known as a rochet worn over the red cassock and underneath the mozzetta, or shoulder cape.

But with the "slum pope" now calling the sartorial shots, fashionistas and Vaticanistas are wondering how his new cardinals — who hail from some of the poorest places on Earth, including Haiti, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast — will dress themselves for their new role.

"What will make the difference at the consistory is how the cardinals interpret this traditional outfit," said Raniero Mancinelli who has dressed cardinals and even popes since the early 1960's from his tiny shop right outside the Vatican walls.

Will they splurge for the fancy, optional red silk cape favored by some first-world cardinals? Or will they go the route of the former Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who according to clerical legend wore an altered hand-me-down cassock inherited from his predecessor for his 2001 consistory?

"The cardinals and priests are much more careful of shining and spend less on their clothes," Mancinelli told The Associated Press. "The gilded miters are only in shop windows. This is a consequence of Francis. They want to show they are on the same pastoral page."

Mancinelli, who is getting little sleep these days putting the finishing touches on outfits commissioned by several of the new cardinals, has some tips of what to watch out for on Saturday, when Francis will preside over the consistory formally welcoming the new cardinals.

Immediately noticeable will be how much lace is on the rochet, once sewn by hand — with a price-tag to match — but now often machine made. "This is the Francis effect," he said of the cheaper version as he ran his fingers over a prototype.

Back in 2001 when the then-archbishop of Buenos Aires was made a cardinal by Pope John Paul II, he wore a simple rochet with only two thin bands of embroidered lace.

Another saving can come in the material used for the cassock itself. Once made out of precious silk and cashmere, the cassocks are now often synthetic: polyester for the red lining and territal, a synthetic wool blend.

"It costs less and also lasts longer, that's for sure," Macinelli said.

Once handmade, the 33 red buttons (representing the years of Christ's life) are now more often than not machine made.

The cardinals' red, it should be noted, isn't just a fabulous fashion statement: As Francis will recite when he places the biretta on each prelate's head, red symbolizes a cardinal's readiness to sacrifice his life for the church and "to act with courage, even to the shedding of your blood."

Altogether, a cardinal's outfit runs in the "few hundreds of euros, not few thousands," Mancinelli said. One relatively reasonable add-on: a pair of red socks at 12 euros a pop.

Cardinal watchers might also want to keep their eyes on the pectoral crosses worn by the churchmen: When the Jesuit Bergoglio became a bishop in 1992, a friend bought him the simple metal pectoral cross he continues to wear as pope (having eschewed the gold-plated one offered to him the night of his election). Bergoglio's metal cross was purchased in Mancinelli's shop and identical versions are on sale for about 330 euros today.

And of course, there are the parties that follow the consistory. In the past, new cardinals have been known to have sumptuous receptions thrown on their behalf by donors, friendly religious orders or church institutions. They are meant to entertain the parishioners, friends and family who may have travelled long distances for the occasion. It should be recalled that when Francis was installed as pope, he asked his sister to stay home in Argentina and for his other countrymen to donate to charity the money they would have spent to travel to Rome.

In a personal letter sent to his new cardinals in early January, Francis asked them to accept his nomination with joy, but to "do so in a way that this avoids any expression of worldliness, or any celebration alien to the evangelical spirit of austerity, simplicity and poverty."

Mancinelli said that ever since Francis became pope a year ago, there has been a bit of "belt-tightening" all around in clerical garb, due also to the global economic crisis.

But there will always be exceptions. Across the Tiber river from the Vatican and Mancinelli's small shop is Gammarelli, tailors by papal appointment and founded in 1798. Gammarelli famously prepares the three white outfits — small, medium and large — that a newly elected pope picks according to his size to wear out onto the balcony of St. Peter's after his election.

Sixth generation Lorenzo Gammarelli said Francis' call for sobriety — which Esquire credited with subtly signaling "a new era (and for many, renewed hope) for the Catholic Church" — hadn't really affected business at all.

"Those who were simple before remain simple today," he said. And vice versa. Speaking in front of the old world shop window decorated with the finest of scarlet cardinal garb, including that fancy red cape, he acknowledged: "Simplicity is not here."

This Is The Real Problem With Male 'Strength'

$

Girls need to be beautiful, boys need to be strong. Girls need to be delicate, boys need to be athletic.

These are the messages hammered into the minds of most children as they grow up -- and, unfortunately, they create some pretty messed-up expectations for all young people are they enter adulthood and beyond.

Breaking down these stereotypes is one of the core missions of The Representation Project and the organization's new video, "Rewrite The Story." The clip makes it clear that gendered expectations hurt all human beings -- not just girls and women -- from the moment they leave the womb. It also explores how these early lessons create a culture where women believe their power is in their looks, and men believe their power is in their physical strength and influence over other people.

miss representation
rewrite the story

And it's not just women who need to be participating in conversations about body image, stereotyping and gender-based inequality. Men need to start talking, too.

"It's important to include men [in these dialogues] so they can see how the fight for equality affects them," writes PolicyMic's Elizabeth Plank. While discussions about how women and girls are sexualized are prevalent, debates about masculinity and power are less mainstream.

As educator and filmmaker Jackson Katz says: "We need to redefine strength in men, not as the power over other people, but as forces for justice."

This video seems like a great first step.

Your Guy Is Not as Short as You Think -- It May Be His Clothes

$
0
0
They say 'the man makes the clothes' and the 'clothes don't make the man,' but if you're not careful, the clothes he's wearing sure can make the man look a lot shorter than he is. The average man typically wears shirts, sweaters, trousers, and suits at least a size too big.

Sometimes men don't realize this and become used to that oversized look that makes a small man look shorter and heavier, and a taller man look wider and thicker. Other times men, particularly shorter men, have no choice but to wear oversized clothes due to the non-existent or limited selection of size-appropriate clothing found in many retailers.

I'm 5'6" and it has been my experience that the clothes you find in most department stores are better sized and styled for men 5'10" or more. Based on this, you would think that giants rule the world. But they don't. In fact, the average height of an adult male in the United States is about 5'8", much shorter than the average male model (between 5'11" and 6'2) that advertises the clothes that fit him just fine, but leaves the man in your life coming up short.

So, what is a man to do? Here are four ways to stand up for him and his style:

2014-02-20-RightWrongWayComparison.jpg1. Oversized Clothing is Bringing You Down

Beware pants that bunch at the bottom. This will visually take inches off his height. It's amazing how many men wear their pants too long. Pant bottoms, casual or formal, should just graze the top of the shoes and have just a little break. And, don't go baggy either. The baggy look widens, rather than lengthens. Also, remember the rise -- the distance between the seam between the legs and the top of the waistband. The rise is critical because it determines how pants sit on the body. A standard rise (about 11 or more inches) on men with shorter legs can create an unnecessarily top heavy and disproportionate look. Shorter stature men should wear SHORT RISE pants (about 9 or 10 inches), which eliminates excessive fabric, visually lengthens the legs, and creates a more balanced appearance.

2014-02-20-Shirt.jpgShirts should have strong collars that stand up and don't wilt. Smaller framed men should look for a shorter point collar (under 3 inches), slimmer shoulders, higher armholes, smaller pockets that sit higher on the chest and have a slightly tapered waist. If he wears the shirt untucked, make sure the shirttail falls about mid-zipper in the front and just below the pocket in the back. Any longer, can make him look sloppy and create a body shortening effect. And if he's wearing that shirt under a sport jacket, make sure he flashes a little cuff - but no more than half an inch.

2014-02-20-Sweater.jpg2. Colors and Patterns -- Things are Looking Up

Look for clothes, particularly shirts and sweaters that draw the eyes up toward the face, and not down to the shoes. Sweaters should not be bulky or have deep V-necks. Instead, choose sweaters that are more form fitting and have patterns that are more vertical than horizontal. Shirts should have narrow vertical stripes or pinstripes, micro checks or small prints. Also, avoid major contrasts between bulky shirts and pants, as this could literally cut a guy in half. But, if the pants are well designed and the shirt or sweater has clean lines, your guy could have a more fluid look from top to bottom even when wearing light pants and a dark shirt or sweater.

3. Good Posture -- Don't Be a Slouch

2014-02-20-SweaterComparison.jpgAre you slouching over your computer as you read this article? If so, your man may be doing the same thing even when he stands up, and you and he may not even realize it. A good posture not only adds height and is slenderizing; it projects confidence that enhances an entire look, and even a person's mood. It also makes shirts and pants drape around the body better, lines are cleaner and the entire silhouette improves.

Is your guy hunched over or leaning to one side? Make a conscious effort to remind him to stand tall, stick his chest out and pull his shoulders back. You'll be amazed at how good he looks and feels, and even some of those backaches and pains may go away. Good posture involves training your body to stand, walk, sit and lie in positions that put the least strain on supporting muscles, joints and ligaments. It can improve breathing and prevents the spine from becoming fixed in abnormal positions. Also, according to the Cleveland Clinic proper posture, "contributes to a good appearance." How's that for both a cosmetic and medical endorsement? Make good posture part of his and your fashion.

4. Don't Compromise Fit for Style -- Because Life is Short

2014-02-20-BlazerandSlacks.jpgFor many men, a size extra small fits like a small, a small fits more like a medium, and so on, but they just accept it. Unfortunately, too many men, particularly those 5'9" and under, for too long have had to compromise because many major designers and retailers make you choose between style and fit. Before I started designing my own clothes, I made the very same compromises. Something might be just your style, but not quite your fit. What was made for someone six foot or taller, probably won't look as good on someone who is 5'6". Here's the good news. Men and women of all sizes can find fashion that fits their body types and lifestyles. Nobody cares what size you're wearing or how tall you are if you look good, carry yourself with style and confidence, and are nice to the people around you. So, men and women, don't compromise, because life is short.

Moschino is known for having fun on the runway, but Jeremy Scott just took it to a whole new level.

The designer was announced as creative director of the veteran brand back in October, and his runway debut in Milan on Thursday certainly brought the shock value we've been waiting for. The quirky designer's influence was painted all over collection, from an ode to McDonalds to a dress covered in nutrition facts.

Onlookers' reactions varied from elated to horrified, as editors took to social media to share their opinions with the public -- some even referring to it as "fast fashion."

Anastasia Ashley Lands Coveted Spot In 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue (PHOTOS)

Remember that viral video of a female surfer's twerking warm-up routine? (How could you forget?) Well, Anastasia Ashley has been busy since then.

Between that video, her insanely popular Instagram account (329,653 followers and counting), and her now notorious derrière, the 27-year-old has made a reputation for herself outside of surf circles -- a reputation culminated by her appearance in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

The professional surfer is one of a handful of female athletes that the magazine includes among superstar models like Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge. Last year, Sports Illustrated included pro surfer Alana Blanchard in its pages.

Despite critics, Ashley, a part-time model herself, told HuffPost Live earlier this year that she takes the sexualization of surfing in stride and that it's all "part of the game."

If that's the game she's playing, she seems to be winning.

Figure Skaters And Oscars Stars Have More In Common Than You Think

The only thing more exciting than the Winter Olympics is the fact that the Oscars are looming in the not-so-distant future, bringing with them the promise of red carpet excitement and, of course, epic fashion moments.

However, upon brief inspection, it turns out we have to look no further than the ice rink to see some great style. In fact, it looks like many ice skating outfits are pretty much just mini Oscars dresses.

In honor of the upcoming awards ceremony and the women's Free Skate finals in Sochi on Thursday, we've rounded up the photos that highlight just how strikingly similar the outfits and gowns are. Now, if someone could just show up on the red carpet in one of Johnny Weir's outfits, our Olympics/Oscars love affair would be complete.
