The Duchess Of Cambridge's Dress Is The Exact Same Shade As This Carpet

We know how much you love to color coordinate, Duchess of Cambridge, but this is a little much.

The former Kate Middleton attended a production of “42nd Street” in London Tuesday wearing a $1,195 beaded red Marchesa Notte gown in the exact same shade as the red carpet she walked. We mean exact

Kate’s clutch, shoes and earrings were all the same rich red hue, and she looked lovely in the whole ensemble.

But we didn’t notice any of that, because we were too busy marveling at how perfectly her cap-sleeved dress blends in to the carpet. If not for the slight show of ankle, we might be unsure where Kate ends and the floor begins.

Red on the red carpet can be tricky, and we’re guessing Kate had no idea what the carpet would look like before she got out of her car ― but we’re going to go ahead and pretend that she did anyway.

This look is red ― err, rad.

J.K. Rowling Would Be Impressed With This Harry Potter-Themed Wedding

Wedding days are almost always magical, but even more so when they’re Harry Potter-themed.

Cindy and Matthew recently shared photos from their wizardly wedding day with Martha Stewart Weddings (the magazine doesn’t share the last names of couples). We think J.K. Rowling would love them:

The two, who dated for six years before getting engaged at Big Sur, got married on Feb. 20, 2016. Cindy told Martha Stewart Weddings that she wanted her big day based on the “dark, moody nature of the films,” even though the groom never read the books.

Cindy and Matthew chose a castle in Hollywood Hills for the venue ― Hogwarts wasn’t available that day ― and asked guests to come dressed in “formal wizard-inspired clothing.” Many of them happily obliged:

The bride, a calligrapher and user interface designer, helped create many of the “Harry Potter” details for the big day, including the incredible invitations (featuring details resembling Hogwarts acceptance letters and a Marauder’s Map), DIY-wands with Ollivander-like tags for the guests and even a wizard’s hat created for a sorting ceremony.

When it came time to eat, the “sorted” wedding guests sat at tables resembling the Great Hall, amidst pages of “Harry Potter” book pages and gorgeous candles. Cindy told Martha Stewart Weddings she also created table markers by painting Hogwarts class names on old “Harry Potter” books.

Perhaps the most delightful detail Cindy made sure to incorporate in her wedding was the floating candles from the Great Hall. Guests got to see them during Cindy and Matt’s first dance.

According to Martha Stewart Weddings, Matt finally ended up reading the entire Harry Potter series after the wedding. Better late than never!

The couple that rocks black together stays together.

Jennifer Aniston looked lovely at the Season 3 premiere of “The Leftovers” on Tuesday night as she rocked a one-sleeved leather dress by Brandon Maxwell.

Aniston was there to support her husband, Justin Theroux, who stars in the HBO show, which is closing out its three-year run following the upcoming season. He looked handsome in a black suit as he posed alongside his glowing wife.

Aniston recently celebrated her 48th birthday in Los Cabos, Mexico, with Theroux, former “Friends” star Courteney Cox and her beau, Johnny McDaid.

Theroux made sure to do something special for Aniston, so he planned a dinner and got her a, well, empty piñata.

“We had a piñata and didn’t end up smashing it. What are you going to put in it? Kale? She doesn’t eat candy!” he joked to E!.

Kale is Jen’s secret, y’all!

The Leftovers” Season 3 premieres April 16 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.

Powerful Ad Reminds Moms There's No One Right Way To Parent

A new ad from Dove is pushing back against the pressure on moms to be perfect at all times.

On Wednesday, the brand officially launched its baby product line, Baby Dove, in the U.S.

In honor of the launch, Dove released a video to celebrate different mothers’ experiences and show that there’s no one way to be a parent. Titled “#RealMoms,” the ad showcases a group of moms who represent diverse parenting styles.

According to its YouTube description, is meant to “shatter stereotypes about motherhood and prove that there are no rules about how to be a parent today. From Cassidy, who is raising her son on a cattle ranch, to Elise, who brings her daughter to breakdance battles – we’re so inspired by moms around the country who trust their way.”

Baby Dove chose a similar message for its U.K. launch, though the approach was a bit more controversial

The brand used artificial intelligence to create an image a “perfect mum” ― a conventionally attractive woman with perfectly blown out blond hair and a well rested face. The image appeared on a large sign in London Waterloo station earlier this week and received criticism for perpetuating the notion that there is such thing as a “perfect” parent.

But it turns out the sign was part of an “experiment” to foster conversation around this very topic.

“The ‘Perfect Mum’ experiment addresses a real issue in society: images of seemingly perfect parenting in the media and social media are denting mum’s confidence to be herself,” Baby Dove brand manager Marcus Buck reportedly said.

“In reality, there’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to be a parent, just your way,” he added. “That’s why it’s important for parents everywhere to trust their instincts and feel confident in their own parenting abilities, rather than worry about how well others seem to be doing it.”

That may be easier said than done, but perhaps shifting societal attitudes can help parents everywhere get there.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended a multi-faith “service of hope” at Westminster Abbey Tuesday to remember the victims of the March 22 terror attack in London. The attack, carried out by a British-born assailant near the Houses of Parliament and on Westminster Bridge, left four people dead and at least 40 injured

Prince William laid a wreath at the Innocent Victims Memorial and delivered a reading during the service.

After the service, Kate, Will and Harry met with victims of the attack and their families. Melissa Cochran, the American woman whose husband, Kurt Cochran, died in the attack, was brought into the abbey in a wheelchair after sustaining a broken leg and rib in the incident. The Utah couple were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to London when 52-year-old Khalid Masood drove his car into pedestrians.

The royals also met with first responders who were on the scene, according to the palace Twitter account.

Kate and Queen Elizabeth II both issued statements at the time of the incident. Kate opened a speech about motherhood and mental health the day following the attack with a message to the victims and their families. “We will be thinking of all the families as we discuss the important issues we’re here to talk about,” she said.

In a statement issued by the palace, the queen offered “thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy” for all those affected.

Stefano Gabbana Lashes Out At Followers Who Criticize His Trump Support

Stefano Gabbana has supported Melania Trump on Instagram several times recently, and he has harsh words for anyone who has a problem with that.

The Italian designer, who’s one half of the luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, posted a photo on Tuesday of the First Lady’s first official White House portrait. In the picture, Trump is wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana blazer.

“Beautiful,” Gabbana wrote in post, while also thanking FLOTUS and including the hashtags “DGWoman,” “MelaniaTrump and “MadeInItaly.”

Both praise and criticism of the designer quickly followed.

#DGWoman BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤ #melaniatrump Thank you ❤❤❤ #madeinitaly

A post shared by stefanogabbana (@stefanogabbana) on

One follower who disliked the photo wrote, “The LGBT community have been fighting so hard against these people for their rights. How can you. Unfollow, boycott.”

Gabbana, who is openly gay and has been criticized by LGBT publications for his support of the Trumps in the past, fired back in Italian, writing “vai a cagare,” which translates to “go to hell.” A spokesperson for Dolce & Gabbana said the label has no comment.

He also told a few other followers to “go to hell” in Italian.

When another user said the photo made Gabbana lose both a follower and an admirer, the designer simply responded “i don’t care!! Really.”

Gabbana, who admitted in the comments that he manages his own Instagram account, defended dressing Melania, writing in Italian that the picture didn’t have anything to do with policy or politics.

Despite the criticism, the majority of people writing on Gabbana’s account praised the designer for posting the photo of Trump.

“It’s funny that the people that comment on the politics don’t even have an idea what they are talking about! She wears your clothes beautifully!” one commenter wrote. Another added, “Love this post! So many people hating her because of her husband and you just showed respect for her like a woman deserves. Congratulations!!! I am obssessed with @dolcegabbana and now even more! So much love!”

In January, Gabbana landed in hot water for comments on yet another Melania Trump photo that some perceived as homophobic. Many followers called out the designer for seemingly supporting a president who ran on an explicitly anti-LGBTQ platform

When one follower wrote, “Sad when a gay designer doesn’t care about other groups being repressed,” Gabbana responded with a confusing comment, writing, ““Dont call me gay please!! I’m a man!!! Who I love its my private life [sic].”

Still, the controversy over Gabbana’s photos and comments haven’t kept the designer from posting photos of the Trumps.

Beautiful couple!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ @ivankatrump woman mamma businesswoman wife all in one woman!!! ❤❤❤

Princess Diana Challenged Postpartum Depression Stigma Over 20 Years Ago

$

Decades ago, Princess Diana defied the taboo of postpartum depression by openly discussing her experience with the disorder in a very public interview.

In 1995, the BBC interviewed Diana for its show titled “Panorama.” The now famous (and then secretive) interview is known for Diana’s discussion about infidelity within her marriage to Prince Charles, but during her chat with Martin Bashir, she was also refreshingly honest about having “postnatal depression.”

In the interview, Diana told Bashir that everyone “was thrilled to bits” when they learned she was expecting a boy (her son William), but that the pregnancy was “difficult.” After William was born, she initially felt better. Later, she unexpectedly experienced much different feelings.

“Then I was unwell with postnatal depression, which no one ever discusses, postnatal depression, you have to read about it afterwards, and that in itself was a bit of a difficult time,” she said. “You’d wake up in the morning feeling you didn’t want to get out of bed, you felt misunderstood, and just very, very low in yourself.”

Diana’s comments about postpartum depression begin around 8:15.

Diana told Bashir she received a “great deal of treatment” for the disorder, but also felt constantly pressured to be seen as a “successful Princess of Wales,” which made talking about her feelings even harder. She thought some people made her out to appear “unstable.”

“People see it as crying wolf or attention-seeking, and they think because you’re in the media all the time you’ve got enough attention, inverted commas,” she said. “But I was actually crying out because I wanted to get better in order to go forward and continue my duty and my role as wife, mother, Princess of Wales.”

After speaking so openly about postpartum depression, Diana explained that she had self-harmed because of the pressure she faced. When asked how her family reacted to the way she felt, she said she considered that she might have been the first person in the family to speak openly about having depression.

“And obviously that was daunting, because if you’ve never seen it before how do you support it?” she said.

More and more women continue to come forward to share their experiences with postpartum depression. In 2005, Brooke Shields wrote about her experience in a book titled Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression. In March, Chrissy Teigen also revealed she had postpartum depression in a moving essay for Glamour.

In the essay, Teigen wrote that she thought she’d never have the disorder because she had a “great life” and all the help she could need. Being diagnosed brought her to an important point, though: “Postpartum does not discriminate.”

A Swimsuit Designer Tried To Shame Amy Schumer, And Women Weren't Having It

Come for every woman’s right to wear a swimsuit, and you’d best prepare to feel wrath as hot as the beach.

Dana Duggan, a swimwear designer from Massachusetts who believes Amy Schumer shouldn’t wear a bathing suit, was dragged by a handful of wise women after she shared this opinion in the comments section of InStyle’s Instagram account

The magazine posted a photo of its May “beauty issue” cover, which features Schumer looking great in a white Ralph Lauren one-piece. “Come on now!” Duggan wrote under the account of her South Shore Swimwear brand. “You could not find anyone better for this cover? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit.”

Oh, Ms. Duggan. Where to begin?

Naturally, some of the mag’s followers were quick to clap back. One reminded Duggan that “swimwear is not just for women who are a size 2! She is a real woman with a real body. Bravo to @instylemagazine for showcasing her. She looks beautiful.”

Another commenter wrote she feels sorry for anyone who dislikes the cover, as well as “all the other people you judge and shame for their bodies.”

Duggan stood by her tone-deaf opinion in the comments, citing “freedom of speech” and adding that Schumer looks “like a pig.”

Duggan started her swimwear business in the late 1990s, according to a 2012 profile in the Quincy, Massachusetts Patriot Ledger. Her Facebook page says her business is by appointment only, though it is not currently accepting appointments. As recently as 2015, she was sharing swimwear shopping advice for women with different body types in Boston magazine.

Shocked that a swimwear designer would balk at any woman wearing a bathing suit ― much less a size 6-8 woman like Schumer ― we reached out to Duggan. As she requested we include that “The Huffington Post is the biggest piece of crap publication out there,” she stood by her words.

“I appreciate the free press. It’s called Freedom of Speech,” she said. “I can have my opinion and you can have yours. I’m tired of the media and publications trying to push the FAT agenda. It’s not healthy and it’s not pretty. What is wrong with featuring healthy and fit cover models?”

For starters, unless you’re a doctor you really have no business commenting on someone’s health. No one has any idea at all how “healthy and fit” someone is based on their appearance. And if Duggan’s idea of a more acceptable magazine cover includes exclusively promoting the unrealistic standards of beauty that women have been harmfully conditioned to believe are normal and aspirational for decades, she is quite frankly on the wrong side of the beach volleyball net

Lastly, if anyone really still needs a reminder of who should and should not be wearing a swimsuit, might we suggest checking this handy infographic

We’d go on forever, but commenter @Kristinbarnett9 really summed it up best.

You are entitled to your opinion, I never said you weren’t, but that doesn’t mean you are right! “Some people just don’t belong in a swimsuit???” I guess when I say I feel sorry for you, I also mean I feel sorry for you having some person or event in your life that made you think your self-worth is based on your size, and if you aren’t perfect that you should hide or not participate in everyday events. We have the freedom of speech in America, true, but I don’t think our forefathers realized they needed an asterisk adding *even though you can speak freely, that doesn’t always mean you should. Doing so could result in you looking like a shallow idiot.

Because buying anything from South Shore Swimwear seems impossible even if you wanted to, check out some of our favorite swimwear brands for women of all shapes and sizes instead.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate Gabrielle Union’s natural hair?

The “Being Mary Jane” actress has been blessing her Instagram followers with images of her curls for the past few months and the internet can’t get enough.

The natural beauty posted a video on Tuesday showing off her perfect mane and slicked-down baby hairs. In less than a day, the video already had nearly a million views.

When @nyandcompany meets @flawlesshairday ❤️❤️❤️ @hairbywankaya did that!

A post shared by Gabrielle Union-Wade (@gabunion) on

In March, Union launched her hair care line for women with textured hair, Flawless. The line, which includes shampoos, conditioners, styling aids and treatments, aims to “address issues women with textured hair face most often such as dryness, split ends, damage, brittleness and frizz.”

When she announced the launch of Flawless, Union opened up about her struggles accepting her natural curls in an interview with WWD

“I went through a phase where I would leave my relaxer on so long, thinking the longer I leave this relaxer on, the straighter it’s going to be,” she said. “Cut to lesions, like open wounds in my scalp, trying to chase something that was unrealistic, and eventually probably in my mid- to late 20s I decided to give up my relaxer, and I went natural.”

In an essay for Glamour, the 44-year-old said she endured years of living in a world that idolizes white beauty standards and going through Hollywood hairstylists who were unqualified to do her hair. She shared on Instagram that she finally decided to start her natural hair journey around the age of 25.

“It’s been over 20 years of my hair being used and abused, first by myself, then by those who didn’t know what they were doing,” she wrote in Glamour. “But I’ve finally gotten to a place of self-acceptance and recognizing that my natural hair is beautiful — and so is whatever weave I may wear. I’m perfectly happy rocking an Afro puff, my French braids, Senegalese twists, a faux-hawk, or an ombré wig, or heat-styling my natural hair with extensions ... And that makes me a happy person in my life.”

Check out a couple of other natural hairstyles Union has been rocking lately below.

These Influencers Perfectly Explain Why Black Beauty Matters In New Campaign

$

Black beauty should be celebrated 24/7. But that’s not always the case.

Which is why cosmetic company Black Radiance is launching their #BlackBeautyMatters campaign. In a video for the campaign, black beauty influencers and a few of the company’s team members get candid about their personal journeys to being confident in their gloriously melanin-filled beauty.

Model and YouTuber Katrina Duckett said that there's always been a lack of representation in the cosmetic industry, a limited number of products for people of color and a lack of knowledge about skin with melanin in the industry.

Cocoa Swatches creator Ofunne Amaka said people often try to put limitations on black beauty.

“A lot of times people try to put what black beauty is into a box,” Amaka said. “I think part of loving who you are is not trying to fit yourself into one of those boxes. It’s about accepting your uniqueness.”

Black Radiance marketing coordinator Lana Gregg said the varying images and types of black beauty is what makes it so special.

“We come in all different shades, all different types, ages, sizes. At the end of the day, we all stand together an represent black beauty,” she said.

The video also features the brands director of marketing Claire Dennis and make up artist Clarence Montrell, who said black people should take pride in their features.

Vice president of marketing K.Parris MacDonald said the message behind the campaign is simple:

“Black beauty matters because black is beautiful. Black Radiance celebrates the beauty of our history, from the fairest of us all, to the fiercely dark. We want to celebrate you!”

Lindsay Lohan Wears A Burkini In Thailand

Lindsay Lohan has been vacationing in Phuket, Thailand, and wearing more clothing than one might expect.

The 30-year-old actress was spotted wearing a burkini before she went paddleboarding last week, according to The Daily Mail. The burkini was created in 2004 and allows Muslim women to uphold modesty traditions, though Australian designer Aheda Zanetti has said many non-Muslim women have bought the design as well.

It’s unclear exactly why the “Mean Girls” actress chose to wear the burkini, though based on the photos, it did seem like she might be posing for some sort of photo shoot.

Lohan has been exploring Islam and was seen in 2015 carrying a Quran. She’s also taken up wearing a headscarf. During a recent trip through London’s Heathrow airport, she claimed she was profiled while wearing one.

The burkini was by no means the only swimwear Lohan embraced on her vacation. The actress posted photos of herself soaking up the sun in some skimpier attire as well.

7 Moving Quotes From Dark-Skinned Women Who Are In Love With Their Melanin

The beauty of dark-skinned women has been atrociously understated for centuries. But fortunately, there’ve been a handful of celebrities and artists who have publicly reclaimed the regality of their brown skin, most recently “Chewing Gum” actress Michaela Coel.

In an interview with Vibe published Monday, the actress not only declared an appreciation for black womanhood ― despite the setbacks it may present in Hollywood ― she also shared the pride she takes in her skin tone.

“I’m black, I’m dark and I’m f**king beautiful,” Coel said. “My skin is gorgeous, I love myself, people with good eyesight love me too, and the rest of the world can f**k themselves. I’m gonna have a little dark-skinned party over here. I’ll have a good time!”

In honor of Coel’s unabashed self-love, we’ve rounded up other empowering quotes from dark-skinned actresses, poets and musicians who take nothing but pride in their melanin:

(Disclaimer: Determining who qualifies as dark-skinned can be subjective. Most of the following quotes were excerpted from interview segments where the women were discussing the societal implications of being dark-skinned.)

1. “The one thing I feel is lacking in Hollywood today is an understanding of the beauty, the power, the sexuality, the uniqueness, the humor of being a regular black woman.” ― Viola Davis, ESSENCE

2. “I cannot run away from who I am and my complexion or the larger society, and how they may view that.” ― Lupita Nyong’o, Refinery29

3. “I am dripping melanin and honey. I am black without apology.” ― Upile Chisala

4. “That bubble of doubt within? It’s time to stick a pin in it. And wear your dark and lovely face with a grin on it.” ― Princess Latifah, “Pretty For a Dark Skin?

5. “I would tell my 20-year-old self, ‘You were fly, dope and amazing from birth. From the second you took your first breath you were worthwhile and valid and you have to find other ways to feel good about yourself that have nothing to do with being chosen by a man.’” ― Gabrielle Union, xoNecole

6. “Who hasn’t heard the obligatory, ‘You’re pretty for a dark-skin[ned] girl’? Or my personal favorite, ‘I usually don’t date dark-skin[ned] women, but you’re so beautiful.’ ... Still, I always knew there were far too many other people who saw my beauty and embraced every part of me with open arms to think twice about what was said.” ― Tika Sumpter, Rolling Out via Hello Beautiful essay

7. “I remember I went through a period where I didn’t embrace my ‘chocolatiness.’ I don’t know if that’s a word, but I didn’t embrace my chocolate lifestyle. Just being a chocolate, lovely brown-skin girl and being proud of that. I remember Tina Knowles, Bey’s mom, and I remember being out in the sun and I was trying to shield myself from the sun and she said, ‘Are you crazy?’ She said, ‘You are absolutely gorgeous,’ and she just told me how beautiful I was and how rare chocolate is and how gorgeous the skin is, all of this stuff. And I was just like, ‘Yeah!’ Like a light went off. So between her and my mother and then me sitting out in the sun a little more, just to be a little more chocolate. You just embrace it. You embrace everything that you are as a woman, even your flaws too.” ― Kelly Rowland, CNikky.com

Let This Cute Cat In Funny Wigs Remind You The World Isn't All Bad

Sometimes, the internet can be a cynical place that spews out mean comments and hateful speech. Other times, it gives us gifts like this cat wearing an array of hilarious wigs

The cat in question is Maru, a Scottish Fold cat, who is actually quite famous and beloved by the internet. His owner created the above wig-contraption for him, which he obviously loves squeezing his head into (Maru LOVES boxes). Though this cute cat looks good with any kind of hairdo, the black hair with bangs is our favorite look.

Enjoy more of Maru above.

This Instagram Couple Earns 6-Figure Salaries Just To Travel The World

Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen are not celebrities, but they are Instagram-famous “influencers” ― and they’re raking in the dough just by traveling the world posting photos.

Morris, 26, and Bullen, 24, have a combined 3.4 million followers on their two personal Instagram accounts. They met on a job in Fiji last year after both left their respective careers to focus on Instagramming for a living, according to a January profile in Cosmopolitan UK. The duo, who are based in Bali, share stunning photos of their global adventures on their respective accounts, and get paid by brands and tourist boards for sponsored images.

It’s working: They’re making six-figure salaries, despite reportedly being told their rates are “so low.”

“Exact figures are hard to say because every job is different, but we won’t do a post for less than $3,000,” Morris told Cosmo. “The most I’ve personally got for one post is $9,000 ... I did a job for a phone company where I flew out for three days; there were two days filming and then I had to do five photos on Instagram, and that was $35,000.”

Being paid thousands of dollars to post a single photo may seem shocking to most, but Morris tries to put it into perspective.

“Once [businesses] compare numbers to magazine readership sizes or TV advertisement views [and] take into consideration our personal influence, they understand more,” he told The Huffington Post via email. “I think all influencers charge differently and even though follower size is taken into consideration, it’s not based solely on that. Quotes are also based on engagement, quality of content, demographics, etc.”

While their lives may look like a dream, they say it requires more work than meets the eye and Instagram only captures a small snippet. The two don’t use any apps to digitally alter their photos, using Adobe Lightroom instead.

As for their main tip for other Instagram influencer hopefuls? Keep it real.

“The biggest [advice] we’d give is to be authentic, original and do what you love,” Morris told HuffPost. “If you want to stand out you need to have a point of difference. Don’t do things for the wrong reasons such as a paycheck or fame. Both [Lauren and I] travelled and created content for years with no business plan. It was always just for fun, and even though it’s our full-time job now, it’s still equally as fun. I think that’s the reason our posts and lifestyle resonates with so many people.”

This Makeup Artist's Epic Optical Illusions Will Make Your Head Spin

This makeup artist is so good, it’s scary. And we mean actually scary.

Mimi Choi, an extraordinarily talented artist based in Vancouver, uses her face as a canvas to create optical illusions that will twist your face off.

She shares her designs with over 130,000 Instagram followers, promising there is no Photoshop involved in creating the mind-bending images (unless noted, as seen in one psychedelic video look embedded down below).

These aren’t the kind of masterpieces the average makeup lover will easily DIY at home, but at least the products are common. Choi uses brands like NYX and Make Up For Ever to accomplish her complex looks.

But if you do want to attempt these dizzying faces, you’ll have to do it without Choi’s help. She doesn’t post tutorials, because she doesn’t necessarily start a look with a clear idea of what it might look like. “Most of the time I don’t actually know what I’m trying to achieve or if it’s even going to be successful at all,” she wrote a recent Instagram.

If misplaced eyeballs and twisted-off faces aren’t really your thing, perhaps you should feast your eyes on Choi’s impressive, delicious-looking sushi makeup that she paints on her hands

It’s no illusion ― this woman is all talent. Check out more of Choi’s dizzying designs below.

Kim Kardashian West is laughing all the way to the bank with her latest line of Kimoji products.

The 36-year-old reality star and Kimoji queen is selling a $98 pool float shaped like her butt in her new festival line:

It looks an awful lot like a still from this video she posted from a pool last year:

Lady Gaga Is Almost Unrecognizable In New Ad For Tiffany & Co.

Lady Gaga, the entertainer who has given us everything from meat bikinis and meat dresses on the red carpet to bright blue, thigh-high cowboy boots, is the new(ish) face of Tiffany & Co.’s line, Tiffany HardWear.

Ever the style chameleon, Gaga transformed for the ads. She’s decidedly dressed down from her usual performer flair, pairing delicate Tiffany & Co. jewels with sleek, pulled back hair, high collars and black pleated pants.

Gaga ― a native New Yorker ― is serving up Upper East Side chic:

“I think that jewelry, like all accessories, gives you an opportunity to, you know, pump up the volume on whatever you’re wearing,” Gaga said in a video shared on Tiffany and Co.’s Instagram.

She added, “But the real joy in it I think is the romance of jewelry. And it is a misconception that a man, or your lover, has to buy you jewelry. I think a woman can buy herself jewelry and put it on with dignity.”

The only caveat here being that you must be a woman with a TON of money to buy yourself this jewelry. A wrap bracelet in the HardWear collection retails for $6,500, a graduated link necklace is $9,500, while earrings and rings hover in the “low” thousands.

Only Britney Spears Could Get Away With Wearing A Bikini Top To The Gym

Britney Spears is all about getting her workout in whenever she can ― no matter what she’s wearing.

In a recent Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Spears revealed her workout skills in sweatpants, sneakers and a white bikini top.

“Training keeps me motivated and inspired... but I’d rather be dancing,” the 35-year-old singer captioned her video, making no mention of the swimsuit.

Spears’ fans were divided on the bikini top look, with one writing, “Who works out in a bikini top lol.” Another tagged their friend in the post, telling them, “We’ve been doing it wrong! We need to wear bikini tops when we workout!”

As lazy laundry people know, a swimsuit top or bottom can always come in handy when you’ve put off washing clothes for a bit too long.

Aside from the video of her swimsuit, Spears’ latest Instagram trend has been recording videos of impromptu fashion shows in her home:
