Carrie Underwood Parodies Miley Cyrus' AMA Performance On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon
The trio performed Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," Katy Perry's "Roar," Lorde's "Royals," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Icona Pop's "I Love It," The Lumineers' "Ho Hey," and our favorite by far -- Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," the AMA edition, digital Pilgrim cat included.
Dare we say Underwood was better than the original?

Suzette Hall, Alleged Topless Barber, Arrested For Practicing Without A License
The Longmont Times-Call reports (http://goo.gl/Hh55PN ) 46-year old Suzette Hall was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of practicing cosmetology without a license. Hall's former partner says she advertised $45 topless haircuts online.
According to the arrest warrant, the former partner called police about the topless styling because she "did not believe this was safe or proper."
Police weren't able to turn up any Craigslist ads.
Hall's ex-husband told police she set up shop in Loveland and offered services as "Rebel Barber." He told police she applied for "a nude license for hairstylists," but no such license exists.

Michelle Obama Wears Prabal Gurung Dress For Barbara Walters Interview, Of Course
The first lady and President Barack Obama sat down with Barbara Walters for their first joint TV interview this year, and Michelle wore a polka dot printed dress from Prabal Gurung's Resort 2014 collection. Gurung, a HuffPost blogger and FLOTUS favorite, has outfitted Michelle on more occasions than we can count on two hands. Naturally, the designer took to Twitter to express his excitement Friday night, as the exclusive interview aired on a special edition of “20/20.”
Michelle's navy blue, black and pea green dress was well-coordinated with POTUS' blue tie and navy blue suit. And she even brought a bit of that color up to her eyes with a subtle green smokey eye. (Fancy, huh.)
Thanks for the style inspiration, Michelle!

Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Girlfriend Starred In Awesome Eighties Jheri Curl Commercial
In the video above, we see Ray sporting the popular '80s hairstyle to promote an at-home kit called Classy Curl. Her S-shaped ringlets are shiny, bouncy and virtually drip-free unlike the Jheri curls in the film "Coming to America."
While you won't catch us wearing Jheri curls today, we'd have to agree that this retro hairdo is "in a class by itself."

The Key To Dressing Comfortably: Go 'Fake Fancy'
Yes, it's true. Comfort and ease are key when getting dressed, meaning we like wearing clothes that don't limit our abilities to, say, bend down to tie our shoes or run to catch a bus. But we don't like looking like slobs, either. Hence "fake fancy," the art of looking dressed up when in fact you are super comfortable.
How to ace the "fake fancy" thing? Here are eight of our ingenious tricks:
Leather Leggings
After sweatpants, leggings are basically the comfiest bottoms a girl can wear. But they're only acceptable outside the house in certain fabrics. Cue the "leather" leggings (which may or may not be some synthetic material). Wear 'em with a tee and a jacket, and you've got yourself a trendy outfit.
Collection Leather-Front Pixie Pant, J. Crew, $398; Paloma Faux Leather Leggings, Paige Denim, $249; Tough Break Leggings, Nasty Gal, $28.80.
Head-To-Toe Black
"Is she wearing leggings or real pants? A blouse or just a tee? A hoodie or a swingy jacket?" They won't be able to tell when every piece is black. If it worked for Johnny Cash...
Pointelle Stitched V-Neck Sweater, LOFT, $44.50; Brewzzer Boot, Steve Madden, $129.95; Velvet Leggings, Zara, $35.90.
Wedges
They elongate the leg and add height, but they are so much easier to walk in than heels. A sweatshirt and jeggings suddenly become acceptable when paired with sky-high wedges.
Corbyn Wedges, Jessica Simpson , $110; Dwaenia Wedges, Aldo, $110.
Red Lipstick
Jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers says, "I was just too lazy." Jeans, a t-shirt, sneakers and red lipstick says, "Yep, these sneakers are ironic -- this outfit is more dressed up than you even realize."
Marvelous Moxie Lipstick, bareMinerals, $18; ColorBurst Lip Butter, Revlon , $7.49; Lipstick, NARS, $26.
High-Heeled Boots
With your ankle securely encased, boots are certainly more comfortable than stilettos. Plus, with boots, you can wear any cozy, garishly-patterned socks you want and no one will be the wiser.
Rockiie Boots, Steve Madden, $250; Halifax Boots, Anthropologie, $595; Rhumba Boot, Aquatalia by Marvin K., $698.
A Leather Jacket
Whether it's real or "vegan," leather always looks nice. Leather looks like you tried. You can take the style factor of just about any outfit up several notches by tossing over it a leather jacket. Didn't Brando always look pulled-together?
Distressed Biker Jacket in Vegan Leather, Free People, $250.46; Maxi Flap Leather Jacket, Mango, $289.99; Kenya-AP Jacket, Aritzia, $585.
A Statement Necklace
Your worn-in V-neck tees won't look so ratty with a blingy necklace on top.
Sutton Necklace, Stella & Dot, $128; Snow Queen Bib Necklace, Urban Outfitters, $32; Crystal Posy Collar, BaubleBar, $44.
Flared Jeggings
We realize the name of this garment sounds heinous. But hear us out. How amazing does Victoria Beckham look when she steps out in those floor-grazing, uber flared jeans that make her legs look six feet long? Amazing. Replicate that high-octane denim look in jegging form -- all the drama of a major leg-elongating flare, but with all of the comfort of leggings.
Dark Wash Flared Jegging, Lane Bryant; Stretch Denim Flared Jegging, Free People, $35.81; Michele Flare Legging, Hale Bob, $73.99.
More comfy pieces we swear by:

NBA Players' Secrets: Women's Deodorant, Cookie-Scented Moisturizer... And Pink Shampoo?
Holmes went deep into locker rooms, peeked inside backpacks and discovered some pretty surprising NBA baller beauty secrets.
Los Angeles Clippers center Deandre Jordan is "always powder-fresh during the games" because he spritzes his armpits with the aerosol form of Secret deodorant. And he keeps his mane clean with "mainly pink" Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner. Meanwhile, curly-haired Cleveland Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao maintains his locks with a curl amplifier by Catwalk. We're impressed!
Knicks' Stoudemire has a pre-game grooming routine that includes slathering on Bath and Body Works Stress Relief. eucalyptus-and-spearmint-scented body lotion (That description alone makes us calm.) But Indiana Pacers' player Roy Hibbert prefers Carol's Daughter Shea Soufflé almond cookie-scented moisturizer. He told WSJ, "I put it on after the games whenever I'm ashy. It just smells really good." You gotta love a man that takes care of his skin and hair.
Head over to the Wall Street Journal for more NBA grooming secrets.

5 Rules Everyone Must Follow When Giving A Handmade Gifts (PHOTOS)
And don't just take our word for it. We called on a pro -- Etsy's Merchandising Specialist & Freelance DIY Contributor Nicole Smith for help. Here are the five dos of handmade gifting she suggests:
DO: Start Early
"To avoid stress later, it's always best to start as early as you can (think about a month ahead for involved ideas or if you have a lot of folks on your list). That way you have time to run back to the store if you run out of supplies, or you can have a do-over if you have any crafty mishaps. It's also easier (and more fun!) to craft while not under pressure, and you'll avoid silly mistakes if you're lounging around as opposed to frantically hot-gluing something the night before.
If you don't have time to start early, try to reign in your ideas to something that is actually doable in the time you have to spare. You might also want to stick to something that you've made before and you know you can master with confidence. [If not] you'll be disappointed in the results and probably rather put a "Secret Santa" label on it, as opposed to bragging that it was from you."
DO: Make A List (And Check It Twice)
"If you have a lot of people on your list this year, the best way to get organized is to make a physical list of your giftees and write down what you'd ideally like to make each person. Next to each gift, write out how much time each item will take you and be brutally honest with those estimates. Does it sound like something you really have time for? Don't forget this is holiday season and you also need time to enjoy yourself and drink egg nog. Perhaps instead of making all things from scratch, you're simply personalizing a ready-made item you pre-purchased, or downsizing the amount of details you want to add."
DO: Use Things You Already Have
"Using household items as a jumping off point for many gifts can be a great time-saver and even sometimes help you stay within budget. Try quick embellishment techniques like stencils, applique, or embroidery to add a personal touch to aprons, napkins, towels, and even baby one-pieces. You can also add easy-to-apply trims to otherwise plain items like baby bibs or pillowcases. There are even special markers you can use to paint on pre-made ceramics and then cook them in your own oven to set the ink to create one-of-a-kind mugs, platters or ornaments."
DO: Know When To Call It Quits
"If you find yourself up late at night, fingertips burned from the hot-glue gun or screaming at your knitting needles because they just won't behave, it's time to rethink what you're doing. You should also think about calling in a pro if it's a craft you've never tried before and it's just not going your way right away. If you still want to give a handmade gift and just don't have the bandwidth to get it done yourself ... you can also check out etsy.com/local to find events in your area where you can shop for unique gifts in person."
DO: Consider Giving The Gift Of DIY
"Some trends I've seen are jewelry kits, a cross-stitchable cell phone cover or a DIY cheese kit."

Sharon Stone Stuns In Floor-Length Gown At Marrakesh International Film Festival
"What is the definition of stardom, not fame, but true stardom?" Scorsese asked the audience, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Sharon is brilliant, extremely talented, fearless, charming, funny and absolutely wild, and she's a true star. When she walks in a room the energy changes," he said.
The actress also spent the holiday in Morocco, posting the following to her Twitter account:

A Generation of Hope, But Not Yet a Generation Free
And on World AIDS Day in particular, I am struck by how much progress has been made to fight the epidemic in recent years, especially in children. When Elizabeth Glaser first started her foundation with her two best friends in 1988, little was known about how HIV/AIDS infects children and there were no medications available to specifically treat pediatric patients. Now, 25 years later, pediatric HIV/AIDS is virtually eliminated in the United States, due in large part to advocates like Elizabeth, who were not afraid to speak out for the disease's most vulnerable victims.
I am proud to continue Elizabeth's legacy as I work with EGPAF to help achieve the same results in developing countries around the world. Every day 700 babies are born HIV-positive and almost all of them live in sub-Saharan Africa where the disease remains an epidemic. In Tanzania alone, 1.4 million people are living with HIV and 10 to 14 percent of them are children. More than 90 percent of these children contracted the virus from their mothers either during her pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding.
While these numbers are staggering, the people I met in Tanzania did not seem defeated. In fact, many of them, including HIV-positive mothers like Tatu Msangi, were full of hope. Tatu discovered she was HIV-positive after becoming pregnant with her daughter, Faith, in 2004 -- when HIV/AIDS was killing millions of people each year in Tanzania and resources to treat and prevent the virus were very limited. However, thanks to a new program at the time, called the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), Tatu received the medicine she needed to prevent transmitting HIV to her child. Today, almost 10 years later, Faith is happy, healthy, and HIV-negative. Tatu was so inspired by PEPFAR and EGPAF's work to help HIV-positive mothers and their children that she went back to school to become a nurse and she now works at a clinic in Kilimanjaro. And this past June, Tatu and Faith joined U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the fact that since PEPFAR began in 2003, 1 million babies, just like Faith, have been born HIV-free.
My goal is to return to Tanzania and visit these amazing people and clinics again. But next time I want to tell more than a story of hope through photographs -- I want to tell a story of success. Preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV is the first step toward achieving an AIDS-free generation and thanks to organizations like EGPAF, I know that this goal can be achieved.
I will rely on all of you to help bring this goal a little bit closer to reality. Tweet, post to Facebook, or even just talk to someone you know about pediatric HIV/AIDS and what each of us can do to make sure that this generation is the last one to face this devastating epidemic.
Add your voice to the worldwide roar for an #AIDSFreeGen by joining EGPAF's World AIDS Day Thunderclap.
Nigel Barker is a celebrity ambassador for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and host of "The Face" on Oxygen. On December 3, 2013, he will emcee EGPAF's Global Impact Award Gala Dinner, which will honor former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for her extraordinary legacy of leadership and courage in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Marion Cotillard Wears Our Favorite Red Carpet Style: Pockets
The French actress showed off her trademark look at the Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday, wearing a cheery striped dress from Christian Dior's Spring 2014 collection. The bright colors and racerback cut made the dress feel fresh and modern.
But it was the pockets, perfect for posing but also handy for storing things, that won our hearts. What's better than a fancy dress that actually serves a purpose for the wearer rather than hindering her? (This writer will readily admit that the highlight of her entire senior prom was the pockets on her prom dress.)
Cotillard, of course, has long realized the outfit-perfecting feature that are pockets. She's been spotted on several red carpets with her hands tucked away, proving that to be impossibly stylish, one doesn't have to give up function.
What do you think of her stripey Dior look from last night?

Uggs Are Top-Searched Fashion Item On Black Friday 2013
But no: Uggs are still the most popular shoe around.
We're exaggerate, of course, the awfulness of Ugg boots. (They are insanely comfortable and useful in foul weather.) But we're not exaggerating their popularity. According to Google's preliminary research on Black Friday, shared with HuffPost Style, Ugg boots were the top trending fashion item this year.
As of mid-Friday, the top 10 trending gifts on Google Shopping were:
1. Video game consoles, such as the Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
2. Tablets
3. Minecraft Legos
4. UGG boots
5. Beats by Dr Dre headphones
6. Fitbit
7. The North Face
8. Rainbow Loom
9. Barbie Dreamhouse
10. Nike Air Jordan Retro sneakers
Note that North Face also made its way into the top 10 -- if your feet are going to be cozy, might as well ensure the rest of your body is warm and toasty, too.
Despite having fallen out of favor as the trendiest footwear, Google's data shows that Uggs are still holding strong, and we shouldn't be too surprised. According to a survey conducted by Beso.com this past spring, more than a quarter of American women polled own a pair of Ugg boots. Even "kids these days" still love Ugg-style boots, as evidenced by the One Direction booties that debuted this past year.
And yet somehow, we're still a little bit stunned that in 2013, Uggs are still the top item shoppers wanted on Black Friday. Are you?

10 Ways To Get Wine-Stained Lips Without Getting Wasted
So we've rounded up ten lip stains -- from raspberry pink to red bordeaux -- that will help you to recreate that wine-stained look without getting wasted. Cheers!
From top left, clockwise:
1. Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Glossy Stain. Packaged in a tube with sexy lace, bow and high heel embellishments, this lip gloss and stain combo imparts intense color, a shiny finish that lasts for hours and an alluring scent. ($5, Ulta.com)
2. Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain. Made with non-drying and nourishing ingredients such as olive butter, avocado butter and beeswax, this lip stain goes on smooth to create a custom shade. Translation: You and your BFF could be wearing the same color, but have totally different lip looks. ($25, JaneIredale.com)
3. Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream. The cream-to-powder matte finish is what initially sold us on this lip stain. But after we noticed that our highly-pigmented pout was still intact after a few cocktails, we had to stock up. ($24, Sephora.com)
4. L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain. Ladies, when we say that this is one of the BEST drugstore lip stains, we mean it. Between the easy-to-use brush applicator, rich color, lustrous shine and wallet-friendly price tag, it's a winner. ($10, Walgreens.com)
5. IT Cosmetics Vitality Flush Stain Stick Lip & Cheek Reviver. This lip and cheek stain is way more than just a double-duty beauty product that leaves behind a natural flush. It's made with hydrating ingredients like plum oil, jojoba and sheer butter, plus it contains vitamins A, C, E, acai and green tea, which are rich in anti-aging antioxidants. ($24, Ulta.com)
6. Pixi Lip Blush. We get nostalgic using this lip stain with its felt-tip brush -- it takes us back to our elementary school days. However, the translucent wash of color that it leaves behind without drying out our lips makes us feel and look like grown-ups. ($18, Target.com)
7. Benefit Cosmetics Liquid Benetint. This cult classic is the secret behind some of our sexiest stained-lip-and-cheek looks. When using Benetint, keep in mind that a little goes a long way. So keep a light hand when handling this bottle. ($30, Sephora.com)
8. Vincent Longo Lip & Cheek Gel Stain. To get the most color payoff from this gel stain, be sure to dab it on to moisturized lips. The results? A lit-from-within glow that will make your co-workers' heads turn. ($23, VincentLongo.com)
9. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain. All we want for Christmas (well, maybe not all we want) is for our stockings to be filled with this luxe lip stain. The amazing range of shades makes it difficult to choose just one. So we'd take any of these long-lasting lip colors to dress up our holiday party outfit. ($34, Nordstrom.com)
10. Hourglass Aura Sheer Lip Stain. For those of you who want to ease your way into lip stains, this water-based formula from Hourglass dries down to a sheer color that you can build up to perfect your desired intensity. ($26, HourglassCosmetics.com)
