'Real Women, Real Bodies' Promotes Positive Self-Image With Nude Silhouette Series

These nude photos offer a powerful message -- without showing any skin.

The University of Wyoming Union's "Real Women, Real Bodies" organization produced a series of images showing the silhouettes of women's bodies with no digital alteration.

real women

Sydney Stein, a current UW undergraduate and the group's president, started Real Women, Real Bodies with fellow students in March 2014.

"The idea behind the name is to encourage women," Stein told The Huffington Post in an email. "Real does not imply that some bodies are fake. To us, 'real' is a word of empowerment."

The group's mission is to promote healthy body image at the University of Wyoming campus. They plan to shoot a second series of photographs featuring men.

"Our intent is to encourage everyone to be confident in their bodies," Stein said.

real women

Stein and other group members asked over 30 women to participate participant in the shoot, and 11 were comfortable posing nude.

"In many magazines photos of female bodies are altered -- our brave volunteers shed it all to show that any real body type is absolutely beautiful," Stein told HuffPost. "We as an organization work to promote positive self-image in women, reminding them that nothing needs to be nipped or tucked to feel or look beautiful."

The One Drink Kendall Jenner Loves During Fashion Week

$

Kendall, formerly Kendall Jenner, is having a whirlwind month. She walked the Diane von Fürstenberg show, lead the pack down Dolce & Gabbana's runway and even rocked the vote.

Living her life in the fast lanes of New York and Paris fashion weeks doesn't mean she forgets to take care of herself. In an exclusive interview with E! Online, Kendall hashed out her daily routine, which includes running, sleeping eight hours a night and a lot of drinking... tea, of course.

She tells E!, ""I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea. I have like 12 cups a day," making us wonder how she gets down those catwalks without peeing her pants high-fashion gowns.

E! also reports that Kendall eats lots of veggies, fruits and proteins to give herself the non-stop energy she needs these days -- which is a healthy departure from model diets from the past.

For example, supermodel Beverly Johnson recently told HuffPost Live about the dangerous ways her generation of models approached food, noting, "We didn't even drink water because we thought water was fattening."

And in the past year, other women have spoken up about dieting in the fashion industry -- which include harsh rules like "no-solids," coffee and cigarettes, and even cotton balls soaked in orange juice... yes, you read that right.

Despite these claims, it seems that models are putting their health first, as Kendall is among other women like Karlie Kloss and Miranda Kerr who speak to their balanced lifestyles.

You Can Dress As Sexy Olaf From 'Frozen' For Halloween If You Want To Ruin The Movie

$

In a world where you can purchase a "sexy" Scrabble costume, we're not sure why attempts to sexualize a cartoon snowman with a disembodied head would surprise anyone.

It's almost October, which means it's time for retailers to capitalize on Halloween. Naturally, they are hoping last year's"Frozen" fever lives on with some rather tragic "Frozen"-inspired costumes.

In Yandy's costume line, the film's heroines, Elsa and Anna, have been renamed "Ice Girl" and "Norwegian Maiden," respectively.

These "sexy" costumes should come as no surprise, considering Halloween is celebrated in this manner by a certain population of people mostly in North America. Though, we have to admit, we weren't expecting the "Funny Snowman" costume.

Again, nothing sexier than a costume based on Olaf, a cartoon snowman voiced by Josh Gad. Just one question: Where's the sexy Sven the reindeer costume?

Post Hot Yoga Essentials: Transitioning From Downward Dog to Dinner

$
0
0
It's the tail end of National Yoga Month and the start of Fall, which makes it an ideal time to reassess the contents of our yoga bags. With so many of us heading from studio to social events, transitioning from a sweaty asana practice requires an extra bit of effort, especially after seeing how immaculately Taylor Swift turns out upon leaving the gym.

The trick to looking "effortless" after a sweat session comes down to preparation. Packing a well-organized bag means warding off any potential anxiety attacks midway through class. (Did I bring my body wash?)

Consider finding a permanent home for these essentials in your bag or locker:

1. Antibacterial Body Wash: Although most hot yoga studios either regularly wash their wooden floors or are equipped with antibacterial carpets, it doesn't mean that everything in between is sanitary. When sharing space with dozens upon dozens of students, adhering to good hygiene is necessary and essential. After a sweat-inducing yoga session, consider a specially-formulated non-fragranced soap like CLn Sport Wash.

2. Skin Cleaning: I've seen ladies in the locker room using their Clarisonic after class. If you have one and can bring it along, why not? If not, try an exfoliator after cleansing. Look for travel-sized products as they don't weigh the bag down. Skin Fitness Therapy is formulated for post-inflammatory skin -- they offer kits that cater to different skin concerns.

3. Antioxidant Serum: Let your pores drink up the goodness of a good quality antioxidant like the potent Ling Apple Stem Cellular Energy that helps tone and clarify the skin, or an anti-redness serum like Hydropeptide's Soothing Serum, which contains a botanical stem cell that hydrates and soothes signs of sensitivity.

4. Moisturizer: Hydration, hydration, hydration! Sweating gallons of water means the skin needs to drink internally as well as externally. For the face, apply Mad Hippie Face Cream, a light moisturizer that is infused with acai, argan oil and resveratrol. For the body, Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream softens the skin (thanks to algae), gives it a lovely sheen, and smells divine. It comes in a handy travel size, too.

5. Vitamin Supplement: Tangerine Emergen C packs 1,000 mg of vitamin C as well as 7 B vitamins, manganese, and a host of electrolytes and antioxidants to replenish the body of lost nutrients.

6. Bare-faced Beauty: With skin fresh from a workout, there's no need to layer on clogging foundation. A pop of concealer under the eyes and on any redness around the nose should keep the skin looking fresh and dewy. Jane Iredale makes a Zap & Hide (TM) Blemish Concealer that goes on like a crayon, and it's so easy to smudge and smoothe out! If you do only one other thing, fill the eyebrows in to frame the face (I love Cate McNabb). For more va-voom, a swipe of Merle Norman Wicked Lash adds the look of wet lashes while conditioning them with peptides.

7. Deodorant: Hands down, Primal Pit Paste is the most natural and most effective odor zapper out there. Made with aluminium-free baking soda, coconut oil, and gardenia oil makes this handy stick a no-brainer.

8. Headband: If you don't have time to wash your hair, a simple headband looks cool when paired with a high bun or ponytail. It keeps the straggly bits off the face - Lululemon makes a simple one.

9. Face Mist: It's not uncommon for the body temperature to take a while to come down after battling 90 F temperatures for 60+ minutes. A spritz of Tatcha's Luminous Dewy Mist is a refreshing pick-me-up in between subway rides (it contains red algae and green tea leaf extracts) and unlike many other facial sprays, it doesn't feel sticky at all.

10. Black separates - It might be the New Yorker in me, but there's nothing more chic that head-to-toe black with a pop of color, be it a touch of lipstick, red nail polish, or a jangle of gold bangles. A black long-sleeved top like the one made with merino wool and spandex by super.natural wicks away moisture and keeps skin at a comfortable temperature. Graced by Grit make the spanx of leggings - their Everything Leggings perk the butt, streamline the legs, and are fashioned as outer wear. Paired with boots, head into town channeling Lara Croft.

Oh, don't forget to pack your underwear (unless that's not how you roll)!

Jason Derulo And Jordin Sparks Reportedly Split

It might be over for Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks, according to multiple reports on Thursday.

E! News' sources claim that the couple, romantically linked since September 2011, had a mutual breakup, "but they still care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other's lives as friends."

A source also reportedly confirmed the split to Us Weekly, saying, "They are both upset. It just wasn't working out. It was a lot of travel and hard to work with their schedules."

Sparks and Derulo made their most recent public appearance at the 2014 MTV VMAs in late August. The "American Idol" alum also posted an Instagram photo of herself with Derulo at the gym on Sept. 8. "You know what? @jasonderulo is the best workout buddy!" she wrote. "Thanks for encouraging me & pushing me to go harder!! BOOM! #getitrightgetittight #healthie #speezyfitness":

A rep for Sparks had no comment, and The Huffington Post's request to Derulo's rep was not immediately returned.

Victoria Beckham Delivers Truly Honest, Passionate Speech At UN

$

It may have taken Victoria Beckham four decades, but the fashion designer and mother of four said she finally understands her responsability on the global stage: helping make sure no baby is born with HIV.

UNAIDS, a program of the United Nations dedicated to combating HIV/AIDS, announced Thursday at the U.N. headquarters that Beckham will be the initiative's newest international goodwill ambassador. After being "in the background" supporting similar-minded campaigns for decades, Beckham opened up in a personal testimony behind the microphone, revealing how working with children affected by the crisis during a recent trip to South Africa prompted her to step up her role.

"It's taken me to get to 40 [years old] to realize I have a responsibility as a woman and as a mother," Beckham said in her speech at the U.N. headquarters, according to New York Daily News.

Beckham's position raising awareness about the program will focus on HIV transmission from mother to child -- a process that left 240,000 infants infected by the virus in 2013 alone, a press release by UNAIDS noted. If mothers living with HIV can access medical treatment and the antiretroviral therapy that comes with it, however, the risk of transmission drops to below 5 percent. One third of pregnant women living with HIV did not have access to such life-saving medicines in 2013, according to the organization.

Beckham admitted that while she's no expert on HIV in developing Africa, she's determined to become one.

"I'm not going to sit here and pretend to know everything right now, I don't," she said in her speech, Reuters reported. "I'm learning."

Expert or not, Beckham's star power will make a difference, said Michel Sidibé, executive director of the program.

"I dream of a generation free from HIV and I know that Victoria’s support will help us to achieve this shared goal," Sidibé said in a statement by UNAIDS. "Her creativity, innovation and outreach will amplify our efforts and bring us one important step closer towards ending the AIDS epidemic."

"Scandal" is back for Season 4 and we finally know where Olivia Pope went on that plane. Here are all the crazy, insane, bonkers, "Scandal"-rific moments from the season premiere. For the record, we're on team Uggs-wearing Mellie.

1. Liv was on a beach 100 miles off the coast of Zanzibar reading "Gone Girl" with Jake.
scandal season 4

2. Liv, now Julia Baker, got five of the best bottles of red wine delivered to the most remote island in the world ... like a BAWSS.

3. Harrison was found dead, which forced Jake and Liv to go back to reality. She put on her trenchcoat, headed to the office and started to clean up D.C.

4. Quinn! It was Quinn who found her via wine shipments. She's also the only one left at Pope & Associates.

5. Huck became Randy, the IT guy who refuses to hope unless Olivia is back for good.

6. Liberal Abby turned into the new White House press secretary.

7. Mellie lost it. She now walks around the White House in pajamas and Uggs, eating cereal, and going bowling.

8. Portia De Rossi is the RNC chairwoman.

9. Abby and Quinn hate each other.

10. Jake confronted David Rosen to find out if he took down B613. He did not.

11. Liv had dinner with her dad, who said he had nothing to do with Harrison's murder. He did, however, "take care" of Mama Pope.

12. "Scandal" came in with an incredibly timely sexual assault case: Kate, Senator Vaughn's aide, called Olivia to cover up her boss, who almost killed Senator Sterling after he allegedly attacked her.

scandal season 4

13. Cyrus made David the U.S. Attorney General.

14. Mellie visited her dead son's grave. Yes, she wore Uggs and a bathrobe.

15. Jake basically said he's, uh, bigger than Fitz.

16. Olivia schooled audiences everywhere on rape culture and harassment in the workplace.
mellie uggs

17. Quinn was back on Olivia's side, totally a gladiator in a suit.

18. Olivia figured out that Sterling assaulted Kate, not Vaughn, and Vaughn dangled her aide in front of Sterling because she knew Kate was his type. She wanted to secure an equal pay vote.

19. Harrison's past was finally revealed. He grew up in a group home, and had no family besides Pope & Associates. They were the only people who showed up to his funeral.

20. "Add it to the list. Dead kid. Missing mistress. Mellie's rape. Fitz's suicide."

21. Mellie stopped waxing and came in with one of the best lines of the show: "It's 1976 down there."

A WTF Beauty Tool That Totally Works

Hair removal is a funny thing. Everyone has an opinion about maintaining body and facial hair, and everyone's particular follicle situation is different. I've read about models shaving their faces to look "glowy," and I also know women who've never tweezed their brows. So, I'm not here to advocate for hair removal across the board. But, I am an advocate for making it cheap and easy if it's something you decide to undertake. The R.E.M Spring is exactly that.

Some Of Our All Time Favorite Fashionistas Made The Worst Dressed List This Week

$
0
0
This week we saw some of Hollywood's most stylish stars really trip up on the red carpet. And it made us very sad.

Sarah Jessica Parker, arguably the most fashionable girl around, picked a gown that was all wrong for her small figure, while Chloe Grace Moretz added a bizarre embellishment to her ensemble, landing them both on the worst-dressed list.

Check out our least favorite outfits of the week and let us know if you agree with our picks.

Sarah Jessica Parker

sjp

We want to love this dress, but it's just too overwhelming on Parker's petite frame. The loud pattern, mixed with the extremely long hemline and flowy skirt, makes it look like the "Sex and the City" star is drowning in her clothes.

Chloe Grace Moretz

cg

Moretz is usually a staple on our best-dressed list, but not this week. Her short frock would have been lovely had she not added that weird black bandeau. It looks like a last-minute addition that is completely throwing off the outfit.

Hilary Duff

hd

Duff took a fashion risk, and it's not paying off. Between the short, strapless leather dress, the cut-out and the metallic ruffle, there's a lot going on. The fit is also odd. This outfit may have been intended for someone with a slightly smaller bust.

Heidi Klum

klum

We're not sure if Klum is wearing a mid-century corset or one of the failed looks from "Project Runway." Either way, that weird stomach contraption doesn't belong on the red carpet.

Rosario Dawson

rosario

This high-fashion dress belongs in an editorial, not in real life. It's so avant-garde and fashion-forward, it is wearing the actress and not the other way around.

Morena Baccarin

mb

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what went wrong here. On the runway the dress was stunning, but on the "Homeland" star it seems a little dowdy. The long sleeves combined with the long hemline are reading matronly and even those sheer black panels aren't helping matters.

Karolina Kurkova

kk

For some reason, this dress reminds us of Big Bird. The world just may not be ready for those sleeves.

You'll Never Believe Who Made Our Best Dressed List This Week

$
0
0
Today is a good day. Kim Kardashain has finally made it onto our best-dressed list, and we have to say, she looks stunning.

While there were many other A-listers who unsurprisingly hit it out of the park this week (Chloe Grace Moretz and Taylor Swift come to mind), seeing a member of the Kardashian clan turn it out makes us smile. Looks like Kendall isn't the only one with serious style chops anymore.

Check out our favorite outfits of the week and let us know if you agree with our picks.

Kim Kardashian

kk

When Kim gets it right, it's so right. This white dress is extremely figure-flattering and fashionable. The oversized belt not only cinches her at her most narrow part, but it also adds something special, making her outfit standout even more. We also love how she chose white shoes to make the entire ensemble monochromatic.

Chloe Grace Moretz in Kenzo

chloe

Separates have never looked so good. Moretz's navy, high-slit skirt is very grown-up, but her striped top adds a playful vibe, which is perfect for the 17-year-old actress.

Taylor Swift in Calvin Klein

ts

We're going to be completely honest, this outfit would not work on everyone. Generally speaking, if you are going to do a crop top, a longer hemline is advisable and vice versa. But Swift's super long legs are too good to hide.

Juana Acosta in Isabel Basaldúa

j

This dress is a game changer for the lesser-known actress. Yellow is an incredibly tricky color to pull off -- you need to find the exact right hue for your complexion -- but she nails it. The dark green shoes are so unexpected; they're really sealing the deal.

Nieves Alvarez in Elie Saab

neives

Yes, we wish she had worn her hair down, but her outfit is so spectacular, we're willing to look past it. The Spanish actress sizzled in this delicate dress; her diamond and ruby necklace complemented the entire look. The big bonus: her strappy shoes made her legs look miles and miles long.

The 6 Biggest Bathroom Trends Of 2015 Are What We've Been Waiting For

$

This year, the kitchen as we know it completely changed. Shelving opened up, cabinets went darker and metallic accents moved well beyond cabinet knobs. But come 2015, we can expect to see a major overhaul in a different room of the house -- the bathroom. Everything from sinks and color schemes to tubs and tiles will see some sort of upgrade, according to the National Kitchen and Bath Association's style report as well as the trends we've seen in the decor sphere, and this is how we expect interior designers and homeowners everywhere to go about it...

Out With The Old: Coastal Cottage Style
In With The New: Clean Contemporary

According to the National Kitchen and Bath Association's style report, more than 400 designers agreed there is a move toward simplicity in a cleaner, more contemporary way. That's not to say they are going to completely lose their more cozy, rustic charm for all-out glamour, but they will have cleaner lines and more minimalist modern vibe.

contemporary bathroom

Out With The Old: Rain Showers
In With The New: Soaking Tubs

Forget about glass-encased showers -- these days it's all about the soaking and free-standing tubs, so much so that we can actually expect a decline in standard tubs with shower-surrounds.

contemporary bathtub

Out With The Old: Bowl Sinks On Cabinets
In With The New: Under-Mounted Leggy Sinks

Looks like you're going to have to find somewhere else to stash those toiletries, because under the sink won't be a "trendy" choice next year. Also not so "in" anymore? Those bowl-shaped sinks we loved a few years back.

contemporary bathroom

Out With The Old: White Paint
In With The New: Shades Of Gray

Say sayonara to all the white. While it's still an incredibly popular choice for bathroom colors (along with blue and beige), the National Kitchen and Bath Association also found it to be the fastest-growing shade for the bathroom.

gray bathroom home decor

Out With The Old: Granite Vanities
In With The New: Quartz Countertops

Despite what you may think from watching all that HGTV, there are options out there besides granite. Quartz, a huge player for 2015, is one of them.

quartz countertops

Out With The Old: White Subway Tile
In With The New: Sleek, Black Tiles

Why let kitchens have all the fun with the dark, moodier features? Those trends are here to stay so skip the subway tile and opt for something bolder.

The fourth season of "Scandal" premiered on Thursday night, and while many fans were obsessing over where Olivia had spent the summer (100 miles off the coast of Zanzibar, obviously), others were a little distracted by one main cast addition: Cyrus Beene's hair. Fashion and the Real Girl: The Realities of the Most Unreal Industry

2014-09-25-2.jpg

When I was 13, I read an article in Harpers Bazaar that was going to change my life. It was written by a teen fashion blogger, a profession I didn't even know existed. (This was in 2010, when Tumblr wasn't cool yet and nobody had Instagram.)

Since that very day, I've been running my own fashion site, A Bent Piece of Wire. It's been this wonderful journey, where I've gotten to meet so many amazing people in this insane industry I call home, and it's already gone so much further than I'd have ever guessed (I have a Wikipedia page??) but everyone has a start. When I was at mine (and most of the time I feel like I still am) I definitely had some learning to do, and very little of it had to do with blogging itself, but more about the world I had decided to get involved with. The fashion industry looks very different from the outside than it does from the inside.

I am reminded of this at least twice a year on a major scale. Right now is one of those times, as "Fashion Month" (when all of the Spring/Summer collections for the next year are shown, starting the first week of September in New York, and wrapping up in Paris) comes to its conclusion. This is one of the few times of year when the fashion world begins seeping into everyday life, and every person who follows Style.com on twitter thinks they know the industry inside and out. So now, from the perspective of someone who has been around for a bit, had to learn this all herself in some very interesting situations and is young enough to say exactly what she's thinking, here are things other people should know about the fashion industry as learned by a teenager:

1. There is more to it than models and designers.
I think this is not only the most common misconception about the fashion industry, but also one of the most hurtful, because it degrades the immense amount of work everyone else puts in to making everything tick. On one photo shoot alone you will need stylists, art directors, makeup artists, hair stylists, nail artists, lighting specialists, assistants, photographers, editors and someone to hand out coffee. To even make the pieces for the shoot takes a whole other army of seamstresses and fit models. Without those people, the models and designers would just be sitting around in the dark with pretty clothes. (To see a bit of this beehive, watch "Valentino: The Last Emperor." It's on Netflix.)

2. Being "pretty" will not make you a model, and being a model is not easy.
"You're so pretty, you should be a model" is a lovely compliment, but being "pretty" is not enough. Not only do you need to fit into a very specific height and body structure, but a lot of times, your face hasn't got a lot to do with whether you're successful or not. Models spend their days running all over foreign cities to castings, working out rigorously and sticking to careful diets. They work so hard to be part of an industry in which probably 95 percent of them won't last past their second or third season.

3. Not all of it is really meant to be worn.
"Fashion collections are so stupid, you can't even wear that." I will be the first person to stand up and say I have seen some really... interesting pieces of art come down the runway that probably would never translate onto a normal person, but sometimes, that's the point. They're inspirational. The designer is translating a vision they had into real life, and you can do with that what you may.

4. Anna Wintour is a genius, but she's not the only magazine editor alive.
Anna Wintour is a fashion icon. Everyone knows her, and most people think she's terrifying. She's a genius, and I don't know that she will ever not be amazing at what she does. But she is not the only editor in fashion, and in fact, it takes many editors to keep even a single magazine afloat. A lot of them are really impossibly great humans. (For proof of this, google Laura Brown, executive editor at Harpers Bazaar, the very magazine that got me starting.)

5. Vogue isn't everything.
Vogue is a powerhouse, and can make or break careers, but you can't get all your knowledge from one source. The first thing I feel like a lot of people do to express their interest in fashion is tell you that they have a subscription to Vogue. I did. The first thing people who are already in the industry will ask you: "That's great. What else do you read?" Ripping outfits out of Vogue isn't going to cut it, and if it's the only fashion magazine you know of, it's time to hit the stacks.

6. 99.999 percent of photo shoots look nothing like what you see on America's Next Top Model.
TYRA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Nothing, and by nothing, I mean, nothing on ANTM is accurate. Starting with the casting and ending with that closing runway show, let alone those photo shoots. Please remember that ANTM is a reality show and therefore doesn't actually need to be extremely realistic.

7. Models don't get to keep anything they wear. (Most of the time.)
There is a common misconception among the general public that if you are a model, you get to travel the world, staying in upscale hotels and accumulating designer pieces. The actuality for a lot of  models is that you might get to travel the world, staying in cramped and tiny apartments with lots of other girls who are all out for the same jobs as you, and you will probably wear jeans and a T-shirt all day until you have a shoot, after which you will change back. The designer may let you keep a piece, but that isn't very common.

8. We do eat. A lot.
"Fashion people don't eat." What a joke. I won't laugh it off and say that this industry doesn't have some serious body issues that need to be worked on, and unfortunately, eating disorders are a very serious reality, but if you had the front row of a NYFW show spill the insides of their purses, I can promise the snacks will come a'sliding. (Eva Chen, editor-In-chief at Lucky, is the best about this.)

9. Money can't buy style.
Remember Juicy Couture? Remember those hideous bags and the tracksuits? (Ah, the tracksuits.) When I was 11, that ridiculously overpriced dog walking getup seemed like the pinnacle of style. The grown-up version of that are designer purses, scarves, etc. Let me just repeat this: just because it cost more than a child's education and has a designer name stamped on it 500 times, that doesn't make it stylish.

10. This is hard work, and it's not always glamorous.
When I started blogging, I had no idea how much I would love this world, and all the people in it. I also had no idea how much work I was going to be putting in. Blogging world is a tough group to break into as an adult, let alone as a teenager from Nowhere, Northern California. A lot of people think this is all selfies and photo shoots, but in reality it's usually me, alone, in front of a computer. Good thing I love it, huh?

You can go all the way back to 2010 and read/cringe about those tracksuits on my site www.abentpieceofwire.com.

Victoria Beckham's Kids Have The Best Reaction To Her New Store

Victoria Beckham may be a former Spice Girl, successful fashion designer and even a UN goodwill ambassador, but it turns out she only now has a proper job. According to her kids, anyway.

vb

The 40-year-old mogul opened her first store on London's Dover Street Thursday and, based on the photos alone, there are plenty of reasons to be in awe of the grand design, built by London-based architect Farshid Moussavi. However, it was her children Cruz and Brooklyn, who arguably had the best reactions.

vb store

"Brooklyn ran to me and said, 'This is the coolest shop ever!' Cruz went like, 'Wow, mummy has a proper job,'" Beckham told Women's Wear Daily.

According to a release, the store's "wafer-thin shelves retract into walls and moveable blonde gold hanging chains are set in recess tracks to make way for installations, events and developments in the five different Victoria Beckham collections."

So yes, the whole "coolest shop ever" thing is actually pretty accurate.

Kardashian arrived at the Lanvin show in an eye-catching Lanvin ensemble -- what else? -- paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. The stylish star rocked a feathered mini skirt and an open oversize tuxedo jacket ... with little underneath.

Kardashian sat front row with husband Kanye West, where the two displayed what one can really only describe as matching Kimye cleavage.

This. is. too. cute! Looks like Jennifer Lopez's daughter Emme enjoys raiding her mommy's closet.

Just hours after the 45-year-old mother of two shared a selfie on Instagram Tuesday ...

... her 5-year-old daughter Emme took a cue from mom and snapped a photo of herself in the same aviator shades and fur coat:

Lopez captioned the adorable photo: "Ok this happened while I was sleeping...lol #minime #coconut #emmeandmax #LOVE."

This isn't the first time Lopez's daughter has shared her glamorous mom's interest in high fashion. Back in 2012, the singer took Emme to Paris Fashion Week, where the two enjoyed front row seats at the Chanel show:

We won't be surprised if we see little Emme walk the red carpet on her own one day.

Shonda Rimes owns Thursday nights. ABC marketed Thursday's new lineup as #TGIT, airing Rhimes' three shows, "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and newcomer "How to Get Away with Murder." The grouping paid off.

The Season 11 premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" opened the night at 8:00 p.m. with 9.8 million viewers and a 3.0 rating in the desirable 18-49 demographic. The Season 4 premiere of "Scandal," starting at 9:00 p.m., garnered 11.9 million viewers and a 3.8 rating. But the big surprise was "How to Get Away with Murder," starring Viola Davis as a law professor. The freshman drama captured an outstanding 14 million viewers and the same in-demo rating as "Scandal."

Rhimes' new show -- written and created by Pete Nowalk -- is up 33 percent from last year's "Scandal" season opener, then in the 10:00 p.m. time slot. According to reports, Sept. 25 was ABC's biggest Thursday night in five years. All hail Shondaland.
